I
just
signed
a
lease
extension
for
another
year.
My
landlord
set
the
rent
to
go
from
$995
for
our
first
year
to
$1125
for
our
second.
She
stated
that
rent
for
surrounding
units
was
$1,350+
though
I
have
no
evidence
to
support
that.
For
$995
and
$1125,
this
place
is
great.
We
only
pay
for
our
rent,
power,
and
internet.
Water
and
HOA
are
taken
care
of
by
our
landlord.
I
do
not
know
if
it's
the
same
for
everyone,
but
if
it
is
and
you
can
get
similar
rent
prices,
it's
a
great
place
to
live.
As
another
review
stated,
there's
an
irish
bar
across
the
street
that
frequently
has
bands
and
karaoke.
It
doesn't
sound
like
it's
in
your
backyard
(though
our
unit
is
in
the
furthest
back
building
facing
away
from
that
bar),
but
that
music
still
isn't
any
good.
lol
Soo
many
different
stores
and
restaurants
are
local,
and
Mei's
World
Pizza,
just
walking
distance
away,
is
PHENOMENAL!!
(We
order
so
much
that
she
recognizes
me
both
in
person
and
over
the
phone.
lol)
While
they
take
care
of
the
lawn
and
whatnot
every
week,
they
could
really
stand
to
take
care
of
the
externals
of
the
building.
The
railing
for
the
second
floor
of
our
building
clearly
needs
replacing
in
parts
and
the
exterior
paint
of
the
front
doors
(which
I
am
told
is
the
complex's
responsibility)
need
to
be
repainted.
Certainly
ours,
the
previous
tenant
had
a
wreath
or
something
that
wore
down
a
circle
in
the
paint
as
well
as
a
giant
scratch
across
the
width
of
the
door.
This
is
the
first
ever
place
that
either
my
fiance
or
myself
have
ever
had
on
our
own,
and
we
love
it.
We'd
be
happy
to
stay
even
a
3rd
year
here.
(Hopefully
this
ridiculous
and
unwarranted
rent
increase
bubble
will
burst
and
we
can
buy
a
house
by
then.)
