This place is unbeatable for the price you pay. It’s $30 for the Q option and you get to choose from so many meat selections and appetizers. The meat is also very fresh, not frozen like other KBBQ places. It’s kinda sad that they don’t have Corn Cheese and KFC Wings anymore but I think you can still get your money worth with the other appetizers. I will definitely come back here whenever I’m in Gainesville.

First time customer. What a learning curve. We decided to get the ayce (like most tables) . Each table cooks most of their food on a sunken round grill. Still not sure what sauces to use for certain meats. The servers were attentive but our main person spoke really fast during instructions. Some items were better than others. Leave it up to you to choose the meats/seafood although i would not get the squid. It was fun but now that I've had the experience we won't rush back. We were there for over two hours waiting for food and then cooking it. We weren't stuffed and stopped on way home for dessert.

What a wonderful surprise this Korean barbecue venue! The place is very spacious, the food delicious. Excellent for small and large parties. The booths are spaced out making carrying a conversation very pleasant - no need to yell over other patrons’ voices. We tried the barbecue assortment for two along with a couple of appetizers and enjoyed every bite. Our waitress was outstanding. She explained every marinated meat, changed out cooking plate to cast iron to ensure a more thorough cooking surface. We will be back!

My family was super excited to try this spot as we typically love a ‘cook your own meat’ styled restaurant. We were pretty disappointed in our experience for a few reasons. First, the service did not really correlate to the type of service you would expect at a place where you are spending at least $35 a person. It was somewhat unprofessional feeling and just not great service overall. Second, the meats were just underwhelming. The cuts were fatty and knives are not provided- so this led to a strange predicament for us where we had to attempt to use our teeth as saws to eat them, especially the steak… I don’t enjoy writing a bad review, so I will keep this brief, but just know when you are going to Beque Holic, do not anticipate a high end dining experience. I hope we just came in on an off day, but something tells me that we didn’t..

My friends and I went there for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn’t busy and were able to sit down immediately. Our waiter was amazing and very helpful so were the other staff who helped us. Majority of the food was really amazing! The creamy bulgogi, pork kalbi and the Korean fried chicken wings were my favorite! The drinks were good as well could’ve been a little bit stronger! The only con was some of the food was a little flavorless like the shrimp and NY Steak. And I also wish they had noodles. But other than that it was a really nice restaurant with a great atmosphere and good food. I would recommend going!

We didn’t know what to expect. We found the concept to be fun and different, and the food is delicious. But…we would have been lost without the gracious guidance of Dillon. He recommended tasty meats, sauces and sides, and showed us how to cook on the grill in the center of the table. Because they weren’t as busy as they usually are due to an evening football game, he spent a lot of time showing us how to prepare our food to perfection. Our favorite was the beef bulgogi. We did the all-you-can-eat that’s $35 per person and allows you to try all the menu offerings. This is a great place to dine if you plan to hang out and enjoy the company of friends or family.

One of the best restaurants in Gainesville if you have a special occasion and a large appetite. Some of the meats are not my speed but it’s fun to try them all and see what you do and don’t like. The appetizers are mostly great as well (be sure not to fill up on rice). For the price it’s definitely worth it as your meal will probably last 2+ hours.

To start, I freaking loved it. Haven't had kbbq since my Denver days 15+ years ago. Heard about this place from a coworker and we brought my bestie and her husband and son! I wasn't sure if it would go well for everyone but there were zero complaints! Everyone loved everything we put into our mouth. We even did the cow tongue! It was such a good experience, we went at opening and did the AYCE more pricy package and it was worth it! Everyone got to sample so many things they've never had before! We are already planning a trip back with an even bigger group! Their kimchi was poppin.. had my fill of rice and the bulgogi and creamy bulgogi were bussin! Loved the banchan. Steamed egg was on point! Throw in some rice and kimchi in your steamed egg bite and hello toe curling fun!

This place was a piece of heaven after we visited UF. Our waiter was incredibly nice, super knowledgeable and so observant. He would be at our table pouring our water before we even had to raise a finger to ask! They constantly are ready to change the metal on the grill and even when the place was packed we felt like we had full attention. We got all you can eat and it was definitely worth it. The steamed egg slid silkily with just the right amount of flavor and smoothness. The Korean fried chicken was crispy and hot and the crunch would peel away to gleaming tender meat inside. I loved the little side dishes and of course, the meat was delicious. It's all about how long you cook it for though, so half the experience is in your hands! (I recommend the marinated meats for a burst of flavor) Will definitely come back when we visit again!

Through traveling back home from the holidays my husband and I wanted some Korean BBQ (one of our favorite foods and we stop and try everyone we can) Beque did NOT disappoint! The restaurant is very charming and dimly lit, which gave it a very intimate feel to an all you can eat place. Very romantic and great for a date night! The sides it came with we fantastic and many I had never had though I frequent Korean bbq often. The meat were perfectly sized portions and very fresh! So many options again I’m not used to seeing, like Korean fried chicken! Omg I LOVE Korean fried chicken! The service was spectacular and our waiter was so attentive and gave wonderful advise. The soju was served in the cutest glasses I’ve ever seen! And the mango soju just blew me away! Thanks you Beque for a wonderful experience and we cannot wait til next year to stop in agai

They have an all-you-can-eat option and choices for 2 and for 4. We chose the 4 and it is plenty! We had to take some with us. No take out for the all-you-can-eat. I enjoyed it. All the flavors were great, portions solid, and quality on point. It is cook at your table but our server took great care to explain it all to us. Your paying about 40 per person w tip. It was a fun experience.

I'm giving a 2 star my wife would give one but I digress. Biggest complaint is its gas you can't have legit Korean BBQ without charcoal. The condiments are just as mediocre as the rest of the food and limited. I understand it's cheap and you get what you paid for. But simple things are what matter like good lettuce without mold or old and bruised. Dipping sauces was complaint 2 you get a red chili paste and yum yum sauce o and the difference in appetizers are you a Korean BBQ or trying to be something else with. Tonkatsu and dumplings in the menu the reason they get these high reviews is the people don't know any better and they have no actual competition anyone with charcoal would put them out of business.

great food, great Soju cocktails, and Bradley is a great server. Beque is definitely a must stop spot if you live in Gainesville. (EDIT) Sadly, I have to edit my 5-star review to three stars. My GF and I come here almost once a week, but ever since Seoul Pocha opened up it hasn’t been the same. They no longer have the sweet soy sauce(by far the best sauce) or the original hot sauce that came with the oil and salt, which are two of the most popular sauces. They just have Gochujang, ssomjang, and a bland yum yum sauce. Corn cheese has been on the menu for over a year now, but they’ve never had it even once so idk why it’s still on there. Last time I went,(yesterday) the quality of meat seemed to go down. The Bulgogi was too thick, the brisket was fatty and hard to chew, and without a sweet sauce to balance the spicy and savory, the food is rather flavorless. KBbQ is supposed to be all about the meat and the sauce, but the offering of flavors is rather one dimensional now.

Great selection of meats for the all you can eat. Great service with our server explaining how to do everything and continuously checking on us often. The grills are gas fire so they aren’t as temperature controlled and high speed as electric tables found elsewhere but they do the job well. Wish they had more side dishes but the appetizers were sufficient. Overall a great experience!

We got the AYCE option, definitely recommend the beef bulgogi, it was really tasty and flavorful. Dumplings were fresh but not as tasty as it should be. I think overall it’s a little pricey for the quality and service they’re offering.

Great food, super helpful staff! If you enjoy Korean food, which you should, this is the best I've had in central Florida!

Good place for kbbq. Comes with a lot of sides, my favorite was the wasabi radish medallions. Paid extra so we could have all the options and the meat was great.
