Once the best, Popeyes has searched the world over for the SMALLEST chickens on earth. I added a pic showing a leg piece next to a sharpie pen as example. Cole slaw while on the menu no longer exists at this location due to employee lazyness. A 10 piece chicken order barely fed 2 people. My favorite side is the red beans and rice, love the flavor. Mash w/ gravy is good and cole slaw no longer available. The shrimp is popular and the chicken sandwich rates higher than most fast food chains. Be prepared to wait at this location, service can be slow and it is usually due to employees being too busy on their phones. Also, for better results and order accuracy, avoid the drive-thru, every drive thru order I get is wrong.

Pretty slow service, I'm saying this because we were about ten people standing in the line for over 10-15 minutes and there was no sense of urgency(only one cashier at the register). There were extra staffs present there who were just walking and joking around with each other rather than acknowledging customers(big line). Only when the girl who was making sandwiches at the back came to the front and said to her coworkers in a firm voice to take care of customers who were standing in the line that was only getting longer then only the second cashier came to the register to help. Now don't get me wrong nobody was rude or grumpy there but in a fast food you got to have a sense of urgency at all the time. Spicy chicken sandwich was worth waiting 25 minutes.

I can't speak for every location, but the one on waters and Armenia, had horrible service! ,The wait time in the drive through has been anywhere from 10 to 20 mins and sometimes that wait time is before you even get the chance to do your order. And once you order it , there could be an additional 10 to 15 min wait time. When you finally get to make your order they don't have a third of the items on the menu. So you mean to tell me I have waited 10to 15 minutes to order something you don't have.....#shame. One night there was one young lady working. Only one! She was taking orders, doing the drive thru and cooking. I have to give her her flowers. Even though the wait a little long and still not as long when there is a full staff, I feel she did an excellent job,! I love Popeye as a whole, but between waiting at least 30 mins or better it's making me second guess that & yes I could have went somewhere else, which a lot of times I do because the service is ridiculous, but I shouldn't have to.... Management needs to go back to the drawing board and think of a better way to support your staff do they can provide the kind of service you advertise and the kind of service the customer's deserve....#dobetter

This is my 2nd time coming here on a second chance stop. First time they forgot to put my sides in and argued about what happened to them. This time it’s 3 strips with the mayonnaise wiped off the bun and strips as a chicken sandwich. Lol I’m done. There’s no line for a reason

The service stinks. The kios is broken so you have to order at the window and which takes longer. It too me about an hour to get food. They don't offer complimentary drinks or anything during your wait. They watch you through window and act like you are not there. They could say we will be right with you instead they look at you like you bothering them.

This place is a joke. I have yet to order from this location after 4 attempts. The 3 prior times I abandoned the line. The 4th time, I made it to order in the drive through. I gave my order and got no response. Turns out it was just an automated greeting. I had to say "Hello" twice before the person actually acknowledged anything with a clearly annoyed "one minute"....no hello back, sorry for waiting, nothing else. The person never came back so I drove off again. Terrible establishment and lack of courtesy and overall general sense to advise your patron of any delays up front.

Chicken has been dry and overcooked lately. It didn't used to be that way, so I don't know what changed. When we mobile order, even when we are the only customers at the store, the order is ALWAYS wrong. If they don't have something I ordered, they don't tell me a thing and hand me my uncompleted order and just expect me to lose my money on it. Good thing I check the bag and tell them to offer me something else. Extremely unprofessional.

Visit this Popeyes location often. Not always good and service could be better. I stopped in today around 3pm knowing that I probably wouldn’t get fresh chicken. I ordered the 2 can dine for $10.99. I was surprisingly impressed with service and the fresh food I received!!! 5 stars today!!

If I could give 0 stars I would! The absolute worst food I've had from a fast food place. The order was all wrong. The chicken itself was as dry as the Sahara desert and hard as stone. Please for the love of God, get it together!

DO NOT EAT FROM HERE! Manager is SUPER RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL! ORDERED THROUGH THE MOBILE APP PAID FOR MY GHOST PEPPER WINGS AND SHE DENIED ME THEM SAID THEY AREN'T AVAILABLE IN ANY TAMPA LOCATION AT ALL.. AND ALSO SAID SHE COULDN'T REPLACE IT WITH ANYTHING AND BASICALLY I DROVE THERE FOR NOTHING.. ONLY TO FIND OUT THEY ARE AVAILABLE IN OTHER LOCATIONS! IF YOU DONT WANT TO DO YOUR JOB RIGHT THEN DONT DO IT AT ALL! Most terrible customer service experience and will NOT be back and will tell people about this.

I really want to love this restaurant for the simple fact they aren’t Chick-fil-A. But man, they make that SO damn hard. I ordered a five piece deal for two people, they put me in the parking lot and kind of forgot about me it seems. It took 40 minutes to get my food and they didn’t even have the french fries I ordered. Every time I go I forget why it’s been so long since the last time I went… Do better Popeyes!

Probably the worst location I’ve been to on this side of town. Waited so long that I just ended up leaving. There was only ONE car in the drive-thru, waited so long that I decided to go inside instead. The people working there completely just ignoring customers and moved w/ no sense of urgency. When they FINALLY attended to a customer, I heard them tell them they were out of some of sides…at 4pm. That’s when I left. The poor service is consistent at this location. They either need new management or they should close. Complete disappointment.

If I could leave no stars I would. This is the worst establishment I have ever been to for fast food. No one seems to care about customers waiting extreme times for food. Ive waited 30 min in a line of 3 cars at the drive thru. Its takes them 15 min to take your order and another 15 to prepare it. Meanwhile you can see staff through the windows just sitting around on there phones or even worst they will cut you off while ordering to continue there conversations. Like seriously !! This place needs District, Regional and CEO INTERVENTION or just SHUT THE PLACE DOWN !!!! The tiny chicken situation is very real FYI I dont know if there picking the beat chickens to take home and the rest for the customers 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

Ate inside Took four times to order my spicy chicken sandwich with the Mayo on the side. They never got it right. And I was right there in front of them. I'll never go back

This location always have a long wait period I mean it takes 20mins for drive thru orders and when you finally come around the building it’s one car at the window sometimes no cars at all. I can say that my food is always fresh for the most part but time management for drive thru needs help

While the chicken is always good this location is constantly out of everything else. This is a management problem. How can you be out of fries when there is a grocery store next door to fill in?

The manager at this place was awesome! We came in late from a flight and he was very accommodating to us right at the close. Kudos to the team there. They are managed well

Went there on a 6:30 the only chicken available was breast I would have to wait 20 mins I want to get 8pcs. So why not give me 8 breast?🤷‍♀️ Just saying not my fault. 2 weeks before that I had a 100 bill and they couldn't break it I had to go home and get my card.

2619 W Waters Ave, Tampa, FL 33614 The only one we eat at. Food is always fresh and orders have always been correct. The woman in drive thru was pleasant and didn't become impatient waiting for us to decide what we wanted to eat. Sweat tea is perfect

This place has gone downhill. It used to be great. Now, if you go at dinner time(7p-ish), you might not walk out with food. My last 3 visits have me leaving with either no food, a completely wrong order because they ran out of chicken, or me having to settle on something subpar. For their mild chicken offering, they are almost always out of white meat, or they'll tell you we stop cooking chicken at 7p, not even lying, that was the excuse last visit. On a previous visit, I ordered a 10pc family meal. When I got home it only contained over cooked legs and thighs. It was almost like they re-cooked the chicken. I can tell because the popeyes I used to work at would do the same garbage. I went back and was told no mild white meat, they would only give me spicy chicken as a substitute. And when I asked why I wasn't told this weekend I ordered, the young cashier told me, "Chicken is chicken." Basically if you go to this location set your expectation bar super low and take some lucky charms with you because you MIGHT get the right order but more than likely you'll get the wrong one.

Every time I try to order there is always such a long wait to put the order in. They always have you wait on hold then have you on hold again in the middle of putting your order in, and get rude when you say hello? After every 5 mins of sitting there. And it's so hard to come by especially with a crying newborn. Last time there wasn't anything made after they were open for over an hour. It's no hard to be nice especially when there is no one in the drive thru.

We were on our way home from an appointment and it wasn't open yet but they let us come in and sit down. We got fresh,hot, delicious chicken and very nice service when it was time to eat.

They had no sweet tea at 5pm. I asked for classic on both sandwiches and they gave me spicey for both chicken sandwiches and forgot my biscuits which I had to find out by checking the bag.

This company need to teach their employees how to handle dining and drive thru. Also they should be speaking formal or just get entirely new employees. I felt like I was in the projects and not popeyes.

This is the worst Popeyes in Tampa. I ordered a two piece combo with a side of red beans and rice. The red beans and rice were not fresh, the rice was hard and cold. The chicken wasn’t fresh either! It tasted like they had it sitting out in the cold air allday. Not to mention, they don’t even have the new lemonades at this location. I will never buy food from this location ever again.

$12 got me a chicken sandwich, Mac n cheese and a drink. The food quality was what I expected. The wait time via the drive thru was good; It was only a few minutes from ordering until I was driving away.

The service was very slow. We had to wait on the chicken to cook. I ordered Cajun Rice and they gave me French fries. They mixed old chicken with new chicken if they're going to make youwait they should at least give you all fresh chicken.

The food we got was good. I ordered the ever elusive apple pies, paid for 3, and got zero. The red beans and rice were most disappointing. Very little rice and mostly beans.
