What a wonderful place! My daughter and I took time for a quick mother-daughter get away. From the moment we checked in we were laughing. Rock's sense of humor (sarcasm) is the best! We will NEVER stay anywhere else when in town. We loved exploring downtown with all the shops and restaurants. Honeymoon Island is just a short drive away and we always find great shells there. Rock and Michelle even had suggestions on the best times to go shelling. And not to forget, Laura's breakfasts are delicious!

I was so excited to stay at BYTW, I was in town for my sister's wedding, I completely agree with all of the 5 star reviews for location, beautiful place, great rooms ect. But for me the check in with Roc was just horrible, from the minute her started speaking I found him be a complete egotistical, angry, militant , rude person, he played this game with me because I was staying in a cabin, he dislikes the cabin people, he said he was gonna start a rumor about me and tell all the other guest. Joking or not is that how you greet a new customer, he seems to dislike people in general, telling all those stories of previous guest. I truly think he should retire. I have stayed places all over the country and never have I been made to feel so uncomfortable. He told me that it was not the place for me, I guess because I didn't find his greeting approach appealingly, so for those considering staying here beware.

This place exceeds our expectations! It is a new construction ( within 5yrs) bed & breakfast . There are 6 cottages ( all the same size, just different themes). Bed was comfortable, rooms clean, roomy, and quiet and breakfast was good. It was a pleasure to meet Rock and Michelle. We enjoyed being able to walk to nearby bars and restaurants or just relaxing on our front porch. Also enjoyed walking the Pinellas Trail. Definitely would recommend this B & B

This place is a gem that will exceed your expectations. During our stay we had the pleasure of staying in the Sunshine cottage. Not only is the cottage immaculate, it also has everything within it to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The bed was super comfy and the decor compliments the room. Breakfast was superb and served with a smile. It is conveniently located within a short walking distance to the little town Dunedin which is a must see place. I would highly recommend Beyond the Wall bed and breakfast if you are looking for that above and beyond experience.

Awesome experience! One of the best B&B's that we have stayed at. Easy walking distance from downtown. 7 brewery's are within 1/4 mile easy walk. Loved the vibe, just have manners and common sense and everything is smooth sailing. Breakfast is delicious! Thank you Michelle and Rock for running such a great place. Hope our travels bring us back.

Rock and Michelle are friendly and superb hosts. Their bed and breakfast is modern, clean and quiet. I stayed in the Sunshine cottage which is very comfortable and has all the comforts of home. Itโ€™s a perfect location just a few minutes walk to Pinellas trail and Main St. where most of the restaurants and shops are. I wouldnโ€™t hesitate to return and spend more relaxing time at their beautiful home.

Fantastic bed and breakfast. Honestly a wonderful surprise of Dunedin, just when I thought I knew the area so well. The property is lovely, spacious, and welcoming. The owners Rock and Michelle care about their guests and truly make sure your stay is going the way you planned. The rooms are super clean and cozy. The common area and the pool area is awesome. Something Iโ€™m not sure many talk about but I absolutely loved the tall ceilings for each room. It makes me feel like I can breath calmly with all that elevated space. Thatโ€™s my own personal appreciation. Nothing negative to say here. I enjoyed the stay very much and would come back for sure. Loved the hot sauce collection!

Great location. Walking distance to Dunedin's excellent eateries and brewery's. Our cottage room was modern, having all the conveniences that we needed, including a corkscrew, mini-fridge and microwave. Everything in the room looked brand new and was sparkling clean. Breakfast every morning was made to order from a selection of 2 items and always offered with juice and fresh fruit. We will definitely return for another visit.

We Absolutely loved our stay here! We were only in Dunedin for the night and booked the day-of. The owners are great and have an awesome sense of humor. Our room was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. This location is perfect for anyone looking to explore downtown. Would recommend!

A beautiful unique place to discover which we did with 12 close friends. Our group stayed in the 6 private Cottages with one couple in the main building. It was almost as if we had our own mini retreat area when around the Cottages. Everywhere was clean and the rooms were well appointed with everything you needed. There was a pool, spa, common areas and a dining area where each day a delicious breakfast was served. Within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, breweries and a short 3 miles to beaches and nature trails on Honeymoon Island where you can also catch the Ferry to enjoy the beaches on Caladesi Island. Could not say anything but positive things about our time at Beyond The Wall B&B. Rock and Michelle were superb hosts!

Excellent B&B in the heart of Dunedin, everything is within walking distance. The cottages are very cozy and clean (shoutout to Laura), we slept very good in the comfortable bed. If you can get over the quirky (and at times sarcastic humor ๐Ÿ˜„) of the owner, you will definitely enjoy your stay. The pool is a welcome addition on hot days top cool off. The 8 craft beer breweries and multiple good restaurants are all within walking distance of the B&B, park you car, chill and explore Dunedin that got much to offer. We'll definitely will be back.

Stayed there last year for a 4 day festival weekend and it was so great we did the same thing this year. Have never experienced such clean rooms anywhere else. Great beachy rooms with plenty of room. Rock and Michelle are great hosts. Easy walk to downtown, you can pretty much park your car and leave it unless you are heading further out. This is definitely our preferred place to stay in Dunedin.

BTW is absolutely gorgeous. Everything immaculate! Rock is absolutely hilariously sarcastic (which we loved) and so will you. The room size and bathroom size is great. It is a really beautiful place and definitely one of a kind. Great location and in walking distance to everything.

I have stayed here several times and will continue to stay and recommend this property to my family, friends and clients. The owners are a hoot! If you lack a sense of humor, this may not be the place for you. The rooms are always very clean and feel like they are cared for like someone's personal home. The breakfast has always been delicious. Since it's a small privately owned resort, they serve home-cooked fresh meals with a limited menu. To me this is a positive and 1000% better than the junk I NEVER eat at the traditional free continental breakfast - mystery meat and fried yellow liquid they call eggs. Yuck. The breakfast I had at Beyond the Wall was fresh like I would make at home, bacon, potatoes, and REAL eggs cracked fresh per order. The location is quiet and for me it was walking distance to downtown - but I like to walk. Either way, it's a very short Uber ride and then you have tons of dining options, ice cream and shopping in the quaint waterfront downtown area of Dunedin. I'm a local born and raised in the area and Beyond the Wall is a place I love to stay and will always highly recommend to others. Hope to see you soon, Rock and Michelle.

This place is great gem that will exceed your expectations. We had the pleasure of staying in the Artist Room - which was super cozy - The bed was super comfy and the decor was great. Breakfast was superb and served with a smile everyday! The best part is itโ€™s located within a short walking distance to the little town Dunedin which has a ton of great restaurants and bars. Highly recommend Beyond the Wall bed and breakfast!

Beyond the Wall is a BEAUTIFUL, well designed bed and breakfast located just two blocks (easily walkable) from downtown Dunedin shops, restaurants, breweries. Michelle and Rock work very hard to make things easy for you and provide MANY helpful tips before you even arrive. Rockโ€™s sarcastic sense of humor made me laugh so hard during our orientation! Would definitely stay with them again.

If you're headed to Dunedin ... THIS is the place to stay! We selected a couple of cottages. Comfortable, fun, well appointed are a few of the adjectives I could use to describe the place. Every possible question you may have is spelled out for you ... including detailed instructions on how to operate your TV ... for the people who are electronically challenged! Rock (one of the owners) was cheerful and funny as he explained the "do's and don'ts" ... with tongue in cheek humor that made us laugh. Accommodating, allowing us to park our vehicle ahead of our scheduled 4PM check in ... was much appreciated. We parked and walked into town for some lunch, explored a bit of Dunedin and then headed back to check into our B&B. Each cottage has a personality of its own ... we stayed in the "Captain" ... my sister and her husband in the "Palm" ... we checked out many options for our stay in Dunedin ... this was by far the best value ... and the convenience of walking into town ... a no brainer. Oh ... and breakfast was great too!!! Laura made us eggs ... (or pancakes) ... coffee, juice ... in an intimate little breakfast nook in the main house. Seriously ... a wonderful stay!!! Thanks Rock

Beyond the Wall is a fantastic place to stay. Itโ€™s small and quiet with everything thoughtfully laid out and of the highest quality, including the landscaping. There is a main building and 6 cottages adjacent to the main building, deck, and pool. The main building has small units, all with an exterior and interior entrance (leading to a great sitting/social area and breakfast area). No detail is overlooked. Build quality is exceptional throughout and all cottages are individually and tastefully (but also fun) designed and themed. Even the landscaping with flowers and shrubbery that subtly matches the unique colors of each cottage. Michelle and Rock are outstanding hosts and proprietors and go out of their way to make your stay something to remember. Downtown Dunedin is within walking distance and beaches are close by. If you want a unique experience at a fun, eclectic location, you canโ€™t go wrong at Beyond the Wall. And donโ€™t forget to thank both Michelle and Rock for their service to our country!

I highly recommend staying at this B&B as a great alternative to chain hotels. The location is fantastic with just a few blocks from downtown Dunedin, the property is well maintained with beautiful grounds, very clean and comfortable rooms and they also offer hot breakfast in the main house.

This was a repeat trip to Dunedin for our anniversary celebration. We enjoyed the town so much the last time we visited, we decided to come back. We hadn't stayed overnight there before. We were half-amused/half-hesitant about making the reservation. Check out the website, if only for the entertainment value. The owners are very particular about their property and they let you know it, repeatedly. When you arrive, you get it. BTW is extremely convenient to the lovely downtown district and the Pinellas Bike Trail. We parked our car at the property and didn't use it again until we left. Great restaurants, breweries, a distillery and shops are within walking distance (or riding if you want to venture outside of the the main part of town. We stayed in a cottage. It was very clean and outfitted with just about all amenities you might need. Despite being on a very busy road, we didn't hear a lot of street noise overnight. The cottages overlook a lush, manicured garden area. Breakfast is served in the main house. You choose between two options. The food was hearty and hot. Nothing fancy. We did like that it's served later than at most B&B's. In the main house, there is a water cooler and cookies that are put out in the afternoon. Lots of rules at this place...and signs. I guess that comes from having guests who don't get that they're guests. The owners are friendly and generous with suggestions of places to go. I would likely stay here again, if only because it was clean and convenient.
