I came here because I could feel a large mass in my lower abdominal area. The doctor never did an exam and told me that it was in my intestines and I was at the wrong doctor. I went to another place and it turns out I have a 15cm ovarian cyst. I paid 90 dollars for an exam that i never received from planned parenthood. They made me feel like I was stupid for even coming here. When all along it was a problem they could have treated. My treatment was set back over a month because I have had to go other places. And why did I still have to pay?

I moved here just last month and needed to get a prescription refill for HRT. All of the staff was extremely respectful and polite! Being transgender when going to the doctors office you generally get the weird stares and the staff doesnt understand your medical needs. That was not the case here. They made me feel very welcomed and seemed to be very knowledgeable. Nancy and the other front office girls were totally awesome and I will look forward to seeing them every 3 months!!

The staff here is friendly, kind, and extremely well-educated on everything Planned Parenthood offers. I have never once had a bad experience here. In fact, they have always gone above and beyond to help however they could. I highly recommend this office!

They're my go to for BC. The staff is very professional, friendly and the wait times are more than acceptable. I've never waited more than 15 minutes and I've never felt rushed by the staff. I'm usually in and out pretty quickly. I do tell my friends to go here, if they need any testing, BC or counseling. They're a great resource to the community, especially to that area.

I'm so impressed with the level of care this health center provided me today from walking to this center and walking out. The staff there are very attentive and i know they really care for me. Checking in was fast and easy with the help from Sheridan who greeted me as soon as i walk in the doors. I was taking back shortly after by another staff member named Sasha who answered all my questions and was very patient with me. The provider was kind and sweet and made sure i walked out the room with everything i needed and put me at ease letting me know they have a 24hr line i could contact with any concerns . The prices are unbeatable and Makayla made my check out process memorable she remembered my name and asked me how my visit was !!! This place is definitely recommended !!!!! thanks stp for everything !!

I am self pay and called several different places that couldn't get me in until the end of November. Ladies can you imagine waiting almost a month if your having irritation down south? I couldn't imagine waiting either and was desperately calling everywhere trying to get in. This lovely clinic was able to get me in same day, during a hurrican, no less. India was amazing and made feel at ease. And the best part, she put me through a grant program so it was completely free! I am blown away by the service and care I received here. Plus my issue is already getting better a day later!

I visited this Planned Parenthood location yesterday and had a wonderful experience. Every staff member I interacted with was kind, but the doctor and nurse I saw were particularly excellent. They were from the Tampa and Sarasota PP locations, but seemed like they were good friends and old coworkers, which made me very comfortable. The environment didn’t feel cold like a typical doctors office. I went in for a general wellness exam and STD testing, as well as a concern that had been an issue for me for many months. They quelled my concerns within minutes, and I left the office feeling so much better.

Everyone is so sweet, respectful, accommodating, and just well educated human beings. What a great place for women to have to lean on when they need it. Amazing staff. 10/10

The staff has consistently been amazing, friendly, supportive and informative. They take the time to answer all my questions regarding my birth control planning and wellness needs as a woman. They dillengtly walked through all the solutions and worked with me to find the one that was the best for me. I am so grateful for this team.

Every single staff member here was so friendly and welcoming. They explained everything to me very genuinely and didn't make me feel stupid. It felt like I was talking to my peers and not medical staff, it really put me at ease. I'm so thankful for everything y'all do for the community!

I recently had an incredibly positive experience at Planned Parenthood, and I wanted to share my story to help others who might be in a similar situation. For years, I struggled with difficulty in seeking care to remove my Nexplanon implant. I constantly ran into obstacles that tended to contradict what I had been told elsewhere so it was impossible for me to remove this device. I am not trying to sway others into making this decision. Nexplanon works well for others—just not for me. The problem wasn’t the device, it was getting the device removed. Anyways, the Planned Parenthood team changed everything for me. My four-year journey to find a clinic that would remove my Nexplanon implant, covered by my insurance, was frustrating and disheartening. I cannot count how many places I went to… That all changed when I moved almost a thousand miles and discovered Planned Parenthood. Not only were they able to accommodate me quickly, but they also went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. One of my biggest concerns was the fear of fainting during the procedure, as I had a previous unfortunate experience. Planned Parenthood understood my anxiety and allowed me to wait for my boyfriend to join me from work for emotional support. This simple act of compassion meant the world to me and alleviated much of my apprehension. The Planned Parenthood staff thoroughly explained the removal process, step by step, which helped ease my nerves. They took the time to ensure I understood what was happening and why. This level of communication and transparency was something I had rarely experienced in previous healthcare settings. During the procedure, they not only successfully distracted me but also made the incision with such skill and precision that it absolutely blew my mind. Furthermore, when it came to discussing birth control options, the doctors and staff at Planned Parenthood were incredibly understanding and respectful. I didn't feel pressured into making a choice, and for once in my life, I felt like my voice and preferences truly mattered. They provided comprehensive information, allowing me to make an informed decision that was right for me. After the procedure, the doctors even went the extra mile by directing me to a delicious bakery nearby, suggesting I "reward myself." I found this gesture not only adorable but also incredibly kind, making the whole experience even more memorable. I cannot recommend Planned Parenthood enough. Their genuine care, compassion, and commitment to patient comfort are truly remarkable. They provided a safe and supportive environment during a time when I needed it the most. This is the best planned parenthood clinic I have ever been to. Pepper is the greatest staff member I’ve ever encountered, she is kind, caring, knowledgeable, made me feel so comfortable, answered all of my questions, she made me laugh when I was having a bad day, and overall Pepper is a phenomenal human being. She should be promoted. I wouldn’t want anyone else caring for me at this clinic because she is such a delight. Thank you for everything you do Pepper, you’re a rockstar. And a shoutout to Megan, she is great and provided efficient, professional, and comfortable care. This is a great staff and I feel lucky to be in their care.

just came here for some testing and the people who work here are so sweet. I passed out during the blood draw for the first time in my life and everyone was so kind when i woke up and i felt really safe and knew i was being cared for. shoutout to pepper for laughing at my jokes to lighten the mood <3 they made sure i was going to be okay to drive home and allowed me to stay as long as i needed

I had a wonderful experience here. The older lady at the front desk was very kind and knowledgeable. Everyone was very nice including the woman who prescribes the medications. Another plus is that they do take medicaid here! I can safely say that this location was very professional, clean and well put. Another positive is that if you’re afraid of protestors.. there was not any. I’m from illinois and felt more care at this PP than there which says a lot considering this is florida lol. Thank you for caring for women and men in need!!

I had accidentally gone to the st. Petersburg planned parent hood instead of the one in Tampa. Intead of me having to reschedule my appointment, they were willing to work with me. They immediately scheduled a teledoc appointment. For the same time as I was supposed to be at the Tampa clinic. I was able to get what I needed at that clinic. I am very happy I went to this clinic. They are very friendly. And I was in and out in about 30 minutes from the start of my appointment to the end of it. Will be returning to this location

I came to this location for a routine IUD removal. The receptionist that helped me, Nancy, was incredibly kind although I made her repeat herself many times due to my nervousness. My wait time was minimal in the waiting room and exam room. My nurse, Lanoy, was hilarious, comforting and very informative! I got to see two clinicians due to the location of my IUD, they were both very gentle and kept ensuring my comfort level. I will return to this location for any gynecologic needs in the future and highly recommend any PPH location!

This place is very good and the people are very friendly, thank you for serving like this
