    Even when you make your appointments these folks fail to allow you to keep your appointments. Many of the doctors miss seeing their patients because they get pulled to work on the bus that travels around the County. My wife gets rescheduled every time she makes a appointment. My doctor is no longer working for these people and nobody informed me of this till I called to make a new appointment. Really hard to have trust in this medical provider when they constantly fail to be professional.

    Tampa Family Health centers should be shut down and stripped of any state or federal funding. The entire network is a failure to our community. Every negative review is true. I would personally like to speak to the CEO but when you click on her email link on the website, it doesn't give it to you. If you are TIRED OF THIS please mark this review as "helpfull" below. It's the only way we can get the change we all deserve.

    By far not impressed with the “doctor” that saw me. He wasn’t very reassuring or didn’t care to help guide me in the right place for my first pregnancy. Didn’t actually “confirm” it either just gave me a list or dos and donts while pregnant 😒 I DO NOT recommend anyone going there !

    It takes them a extreme amount of time to answer phone calls. Automated system said less than 5 minutes hold, I have been on hold over 30 minutes now just trying to make an appointment because their online scheduling NEVER has anything available. Don't offer online appointment scheduling if you just have to call anyway.

    The worst experience I ever had with pediatricians. I'm airforce and tri care referred me here. They treated my children like second class citizens. They are racist, they don't like white people.

    They still worked me in past my scheduled new patient appointment even though i was running behind because of traffic after i called them. Trying to reach someone on the phone is usually a 10 minute wait but they give you the option for them to call you back. Between that & continually having an issue getting/staying on the MyChart website seems to be the only complaint. The staff were very nice including the doctor i saw. Even when you speak to someone on the phone they are very kind & helpful. They have a pharmacy and a lab where you can have your blood work drawn there in the office.

    It's so sad to see the Spanish patients struggling to speak the language. And it's very disgusting hearing the employees talking derogatory about the Spanish speaking patients. Definitely this office needs Spanish speaking personnel and more professional employees.

    They literally forgot my wife and I half way through the appointment????? We waited for 45min for our nurse to come back but she never did... When we spoke to the info desk they told us the people needed for blood work have gone on break for another 2 hours??? Literally completely forgot about us waiting in their room and went off on break? Like how does that even happen????

    The worst referral team at the Fletcher location I have never encountered. They have delayed my care from my specialist 4 TIMES! If you are “behind with referrals” HIRE MORE QUALIFIED PEOPLE TO DO THE JOB. Coding was also submitted incorrectly to my insurance. The referral “specialist” had the nerve to ask me what code the insurance needs to complete my authorization! Lady idk!!!! I’m not the one who went to school to learn medical coding and apparently they didn’t either. Horrible.

    I’ve never left a review on google but this place was so bad that I’m leaving one. They scheduled me for an appointment at 10 a.m for obgyn. I show up early. The doctor finally sees me an hour and a half later just to tell me they don’t actually have the IUD they told me they had over the phone, and to go somewhere else. I wasted Uber money to come here and they guaranteed they had what I needed. Legit worst experience I’ve ever had. Go anywhere else.

    If I could give it no stars I would! They give you wrong appointments and once you are there they just cancel it not caring about the treatment. The doctors prefer spending 15 min explaining why they won't see you than to just give you that time! It's ridiculous, so much for having the word "family" in it when they don't care about the little ones that are with you.

    The staff for the pregnancy, and the staff for pediatrician are awesome. I never had a problem with and they love the kids. Today I went in because my youngest daughter had an appointment for the dentist because she was born with 2 teeth and had to get it checked out. The front desk people had me fill out the paper work seen that I came with other children and didn't tell me I couldn't go in until the lady called my daughters name and then nodded her head saying that I couldn't go in because I had other children with me. This is a family clinic and wont let you go in with your other children? Lmao dental clinic lady is a joke. No sign or anything hanging to tell ya before you even make a damn appointment. Waste of my time and energy!!!!!!

    I had an appointment today. They failed to call me and tell me they no longer took my insurance. Then try to charge me to talk to a doctor that didn’t even have the results of my ultrasound lol what a joke!! December 21 my son had an appointment stood there for about 3 1/2 hours. They changed the doctor that he was supposed to originally see him to a doctor that “didn’t” have patients but ended up waiting 3 hours for her smh

    I am diagnosed bipolar and the dr there all of a sudden tells me knowing I have no insurance that until I see psych, she wont write the meds for me anymore. She had been writing them for 2 years at this point. Without insurance, I couldn't afford to see a psychiatrist since I made 700 bucks a month at the time, and without my meds I nearly took my own life. It's not just that they dont care, that's negligence and neglect. This place should be closed down and medical licenses revoked. Taking someone with a severe psychiatric disorder off their meds cold Turkey is a way to cause someone's death.

    Always DENTAL is ALWAYS BEHIND!!!! IF you have an appointment plan on it taking another HOUR or MORE before they call you back after scheduled time. *****DO NOT HAVE PLANS FOR THAT DAY AS THEY DO NOT CARE. **** if you have to get to work and scheduled EARLY telling then when scheduled THEY DO NOT CARE. Your time is not valuable. Absolutely do not come early as they ask for paperwork of it will be 1 and a half ATLEAST before they even bring you back. Prepare to waste your day sitting here. LITERALLY. They take people clearly out of order since our appt was at 9 (8:30 for paperwork) and a gentleman came in at 9:45 ( I heard him say it) for scheduled appt and he went right back. Finally taken back and hour after appt time, FOR XRAYS FOR XRAYS NO CLEANING..... WHY WAS I NOT TOLD THIS??? We left as they STILL HAD NOT SEEN THE YOUNGER CHILD. They scheduled my children one after the other because the younger has never been seen by a dentist. So the younger can watch. Now the answer is no one is allowed back FROM not even 2 WEEKS AGO.... what are you HIDING??? AS A dental professional of 16 years WHAT ARE YOU HIDING??? That you do not allow siblings or parents in the back office? Why schedule this way??? These people have ZERO IDEA of how a dental office works from front to back. So getting cleanings today and THATS ALL if they cant figure out the small stuff definitely can't be trusted to do dental work. I have never had any issues with the medical side. ANY... AT ALL.

    Service has gone down drastically. Many people including pregnant patients stand in line for long time, when the 2/3 receptionists take sweet time to handle people. Very fraustrating experience in the last few encounters.

    The front desk staffs don’t know any information I asked and I was upset because just how they didn’t know how to answer any of my concerns they have 0 knowledge ...how can a person with no Side of health education work at a doctor center ? Especially working with hundreds of people each day ..???? Seems like anyone can be placed working in the front desk these people should have been educated for this placement this is a health center we should be provided with every question and concerns we ask for.... really bad service I am really upset . Also at the women’s care the lady that was working 05/13/19 at 1pm she got rude and disgusting I don’t how a person like that should be employed in a doctor center where they suppose to help our community with any of our concerns .

    This place is worse than a joke, it's a DANGEROUS joke. You may walk out in worse condition medically than you came in, like they did to me. They botched a very simple procedure and caused me to have to get it fixed in a surgical facility under general anesthesia, which cost $4,500 to undo what they did wrong. I went to Tampa family health for over two years, strictly out of financial necessity because I don't have health insurance, which is the reason the vast majority of people go to this clinic. It's sad and wrong that it's rated a 2.8 stars and the way they think they can get away with treating patients just because they're low income. This place needs serious oversight fron the state if they're getting funding from the state - this place is providing health care at a level worse than a 3rd world country woukd provide, and treating patients like annoyances who are lucky to be getting their services. I know there's not alot of options for low income people in Tampa but please trust me when I say do yourself a favor and avoid this place unless you want to put your life in jeopardy!

    At first it was ok and has recently been terrible. Doctor changed my medication which dropped my levels then denied prescription refills for previous medication telling me to make a follow up appointment and I can't get in for 2 months. My follow up calls and messages are being ignored so ended up paying $75 for a virtual doctor visit to get that medication. 2 weeks later I put in for a medication refill for a different medication and it's been 6 days with no acknowledgement its even been requested. Here I sit 3 days of having no medication calling every day sending the doctor yet another message only to be ignored. Don't waste your time going here.

    Do not waste your time going here, those who attend do not know ANYTHING, apart from that you must wait for the Supposed Doctor for at least an hour after the technician attends you... Then "the doctor" comes to give wrong diagnoses, I doubt they are doctors who come there. One without being a dentist knows that they are lying to him. Wow Wow! Iwent here in August to check my teeth, apart from the guy who saw me because the doctor is not gave me a wrong diagnosis that day I went and paid for the consultation now in November I receive a $221 bill for dental services... when they did nothing to me... I just consultation and plaque. and that's why I paid that day... Be careful here, apart from bad people, they charge too much...

    I had to walk in for an emergency dental appointment. The doors were opened on time, the front desk staff were extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Waiting time was less than 5 minutes which was awesome since I had to go to work afterwards. I was taken to the back and the clinical staff were also amazing being able to help me with my issue and treating me with respect and no judgments, which is hard to find places that treat you like a human being nowadays. Thank you for every single one who made my day easier and helped me with my problem!

    I was scared bc the reviews and I've had really bad dental experience (at 3 different dentist offices) So I was honestly terrified (not just bc reviews but also ive been botched at an office) This was the first time I didn't feel the numbing shot and I just feel like they took good care of me. Super happy with my visit and was comfortable in the chair. Hope this helps others.

    they don't deserve even one star they are very unconcerned they don't care if you have the whole day sitting in a chair waiting I have a very bad experience of that place I don't recommend it I spent 3 hours sitting waiting for the signing of a physical exam for my child the assistant The nurse forgot to give it to me. I also had to go about 10 times to look for him and even so, I spent 3 hours and 45 minutes waiting for him.

    This location is crowded, dirty, and they are so rude. I sat for an hour before they told me they moved my appointment back TWO AND A HALF HOURS. I am pregnant and had fasted for this appointment because of a glucose test. Not to mention i spent $45 in uber fees to get here and back home for nothing. They were completely unapologetic.

    Unfortunately, this was our last visit due to moving. However, we are so sad to leave our pediatrician. She was amazing! I’m leaving 4 stars only because we did have to wait 2 hours before being seen and we showed up early to our appointment. Overall, very pleased with everything and again, sad that it was our last visit.

    Although the doctor that I visited with was fine, the administration and billing department were absolutely horrible. I went in for a yearly physical which included bloodwork. After over a month of not hearing back, I called the office. They said they had no record of me having any bloodwork done, so I informed them that they somehow lost the sample since I had waited an extra hour in order to have blood drawn. When I returned to have blood drawn a second time, I made sure to speak with the administrators to let them know what was going on and to make sure I was not going to be charged twice. They assured me that I would not be charged twice since they had no record of the blood being drawn the first time. My insurance was charged twice and I received two lab bills. After months of back-and-forth with the billing department, I found out that they decided to send my bloodwork to a lab that my insurance did not cover, rather than the lab that my insurance works with, who Tampa Family also works with. I should not have been charged for the service at all since it was included in my insurance, and instead I was charged twice because of the lack of attention or care from this office. It took seven months of having to stay on top of the billing department and the lab; Tampa Family did not want to cover the extra charge even though it was their error, as they expected the lab to drop the second charge even though they had to do the work twice. They finally removed the second charge, but I still have had a bill for bloodwork that should have been included in my insurance because they chose to send it to the wrong lab. As mentioned previously, the doctor was fine, but the administration and billing issues make it impossible for me to recommend ever using this office.

    I would give zero stars if this was possible for the Tampa family health center. This is absolutely the worst doctors office I’ve been to in 46 years. After my initial visit, the follow up with the doctor was two weeks later, they have called and rescheduled me six times and has been three months when I was supposed to be seen after two weeks. They obviously don’t care about their patients at all. They promise to help you but won’t. I have reached Out to the office manager over two weeks ago with no reply. You really are nothing but a number at the centers. This was specifically with the Dale Maybry office, but you have to call a singular number to do anything, and it always takes several hours to talk to somebody.I WOULD ADVISE AGAINST ANYONE USING THIS CENTER IF YOU WANT QUALITY CARE!!!!!

    I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Ross on 03/05/2019 to establish a primary care doctor and have my medication refilled. After taking off of work to go to my appointment, and scheduling almost a week in advance, I was told at the very end of my appointment that I was not able to have my ADHD medication refilled "because it's just company policy". This was after Dr. Ross had already printed the prescription and handed it to me, and I asked if she wanted me to come back bi-monthly for refills like my former PCP ( My PCP would give me two prescriptions for 1 month supply, I would come in after to be evaluated and refilled) She took the prescription back, and then came back and informed me she would not be able to fill my prescription at all. I recently changed health insurance and brought my prior medical records from my former PCP showing that I've already been diagnosed with ADHD and taking 10mg of Adderrall two times a day FOR OVER A YEAR. I asked if Dr. Ross could speak with her supervising physician about refilling an emergency supply, or if she could contact my prior doctor, and I was denied as "It's company policy and we just don't do that, especially since you're a new patient." Instead, after asking what I should/ could even do as I was running out the next day, I was given a referral to Behavioral Health. When I called to schedule the referral appointment I was informed by the phone scheduler that Behavioral Health does NOT fill medications. The gentleman over the phone tried to contact the office I was seen at several times to figure out what I should do, before finally resolving to transferring me to the facility managers voicemail. I left a voicemail explaining my situation as it was urgent and I requested help. I have not heard back. I am now out of my medication, and will be off of my ADHD medication until Monday where I will have to go in late to work, again, AND pay $75 out of pocket to see my former PCP just to get an emergency refill. This was a poor, disorganized experience and a waste of my time and money. Not to mention I will be without my medication that I have been taking for over a year now (and need to take to function) with what appeared to be little to no concern on behalf of the facility. While the staff was friendly, and I didn't have to wait for my appointment, they were not helpful and I felt that I completely wasted my time . If my PCP options for my insurance were not so limited, I would not come back.

    I received three text messages, three emails, and a phone call to confirm my appointment I confirmed every single time and filled out all of my paperwork ahead of time online. I showed up 15 minutes early, waited one hour and was not called back. I decided to cancel my appointment after waiting for an hour because I had other things I needed to get done on the day that I took off of work to attend this appointment. They wasted my time and where I will go elsewhere.

    the dental office does not work at all the secretary makes preferences with the patients waiting usually make 2 enter with appointments and an emergence ... I am here from 7.30 am I am the first and it is 10.30 am and year passed before the others also without an appointment and an inguistizzia and lack of professionalism

    3.5 rating. Positives are the lab tech is very good with the blood draw and the facility has pretty much everything you need for a one stop shop. The negative is that we waited in the exam room for well over an hour before the doctor came in to see us so an annual physical turned out to be an over 2 hour event. I was also charged a co-pay for my daughters physical, which is highly unusual.

    This place has one pediatrician. So be ready bring your snacks a book to read or a good show to watch bc it’s gona be a very loooong wait before you get seen. I’ve never been seen without waiting at least two hours and that’s on a good day.

    Worst place ever! Walked in feeling good, left with some kinda viruse and now I'm sicker then ever. Running a high fever, coughing up, vomiting and can't keep anything down.     Janelle & Brandi were Outstanding. Their Customer Service went above and beyond, but not just with me. While waiting, I sat and watched them help person after person with the utmost respect for that person. They actually talked to the person like they were a human, and not just another number in line. We need more people like them working the Front Desk, who Greet you and are understanding to your issues. They were pleasant to speak to and stayed positive no matter what they encountered. Compassion really does go a long way, and people need that now more than ever. Thank you Ladies!!! You Rock, seriously, you really do!!!

    Not very good. Was told I didn’t need a papsmear for every 5 years but Tampa family called me and said I was due? That’s why I had an appointment. Everyone doesn’t seem to be on the same page, I don’t feel like I’m cared about. My assigned MD’s are always quitting.

    Dr Battles is in need of time management skills. I guess people go to school and feel their degree allows them I just have patients wait until it is convenient for them. This is even more frustrating when I come from I healthcare background. Enough is enough better customer service needs to be provided. Work while providing services from your heart. Hopefully you’ll have a change in state of mind come 2020x

    Very professional and friendly. They have always taken care of any health problem I've had. The wait used to be pretty bad, but recently I've been called back after 5 minutes of signing in. And I've been seen with in 5 minutes after having my vitals taken. Basically they're way more prompt than a Dr. Office that is privately owned by the doctor. I've waited many hours to see a private doctor before and when does finally come up to see you, your so mad that it's a bad visit because you cuss out the doctor. My time is just as valuable as there's even though they might make more money than I do. I would recommend Tpa Family over a private doctor any day.

    As for the dentist I actually really like them. I haven't had any problems really. 95% of my experiences have been good and the other 5% is more like TFHC in general not the actual dentist and people there.

    Front desk assistant was very professional and helpful. The doctor and blood work assistant and nurse was very attentive patient informative and made the visit a comfortable one. The facility is very clean and well kept. The bathroom was clean and in order. Thank you guys for taking care of me and my family. Continue to do good works for the community.

    Although they do have some amazing doctors there pharmacy is terrible. The ladies are usually so rude at the pharmacy, every time I call to refill my script they never answer the phone and they take 2-3 hour lunch breaks which is ridiculous... I have had many issues with this pharmacy before and I'm tired of it

    This has been the worst experience that I have ever had going to the dentist. They will tell you one thing over the phone and tell you something different once you get there. And please be aware they will not allow you to go in the back with your child for certain procedures and will not allow you to bring your child with you to your appointment. Here is what happened to me: Several weeks ago I had made an appointment for my son and I to get x-rays and a cleaning done. I had explained over the phone that obviously my son will be there when I would be getting my teeth done, they had told me no problem. I was told to arrive 30 minutes early because we were new patients. The day of the appointment my son and I showed up 30 minutes early, only to find out that they were closed for lunch. Once they reopened and called my son back (about 20 minutes after his scheduled time). I was told I was not allowed back there when they did the x-rays. I have never ran into that problem before but I was told I would be called as soon as they were done. About 15 minutes goes by and I haven't heard anything so I went to the front desk and asked what was going on. They told me they are just going over the x-rays and that they would call me shortly. Another 15 minutes go by and now I have started to worry. When I went to the front desk and asked to go back to see my son to make sure he was okay they told me no. So, at that point, I told them to bring me my son that we were leaving. When I told them that, they let me go back to where my son was. Shorty after talking to my son and making sure he was okay, the hygienist said that they were going to clean his teeth and took me to the room next to him so I could start my appointment (about 1 hour after my scheduled appointment time). Before they started anything I made sure that my son was allowed to come into my room once he was done with his appointment. They reassured me that he could. Once my x-rays were done and my son 's cleaning was done a women came into the room and said that they have to reschedule my appointment. I asked why and she told me that per their policy only the patient is allowed in the room, meaning my son couldn't sit in the room and wait for me to be done. I told her that I was told twice by the employees that worked there that it would not be a problem. She said that there was nothing she could do but to reschedule me for a time when I didn't have my son with me. So, I had no choice to but to cancel my appointment.

    Some times you have an appointment scheduled with a provider and then they change it last minute without letting you know so you get a different person I ended up paying for a visit for Them to only check my glucose really I could do that at home and I ended up paying my co-pays.

    New to area, medical records in hand, was told over the phone my refills for 3 medications would be no problem. Spent $50 for nothing. Doctor would not prescribe meds I have been on for years...proof in hand. Would not recommend AT ALL.

    Horrible if I can give it no stars I would. Stood there a whole 4 hours for the doctor to open the door and check my vitals and told me I was okay they would have my script at the pharmacy. And didn't bother to realize I needed to see a specialist.

    Dr.Monica R.Rider, DO, was exceptional she listened to me and shared her knowledge with me about how I can better manage my Diabetes and Mental health issues and wasn't in a hurry. I look forward to seeing Dr Rider or Christina Stair ARNP who is excellent also, next time.

    I give it a one now with the telecalls or televisits. They add referrals you don't need and charge you over $100 when they first tell you the charge will be the same as if you visit. This is the second time TFHC adds exams the doctor did not mention during my televisit meeting. Both times I called for an ear infection, and within 7 months. The first meeting was for about 4 minutes. Then, when my charge showed up, I emailed and called asking why they had screened me for depression (?) and other exams I had not asked for. Why is this happening? The 2nd time was recently, an ear infection. I have those often. However, we did not speak of any referrals but the only one she stated she will give me was for a lung doctor after we talked. Now I had referrals for a gastrointestinal test, a mammogram, a ENT, and NO Lung doctor referral...which is what I need after our conversation. The proof is in the call (if it is true that they record it). I am not working. I was laid off due to Covid-19. They told me, before I decided to call for a new telecall at another TFHC location (since I did not trust the first one), that my bill would be the same as if I went there....$20.00 fee I have paid whenever I had gone to one of its clinics. It is a sliding scale fee. I even explained the person who made the appointment that I was overcharged the first time and to tell me how much a televisit would cost. She said same amount as if I went there, sliding scale ($20.00). She also told me she would tell the billing department about my previous issue (overcharge and added reckless referrals I never asked for or needed (to which the first billing dept had said that they always screen for depression (???) I have an acct with Athena and I have been going to TFHC for years and login to Athena. I never had that type of screening showing up. And I was never overcharged until COVID. I wish to know who I can call in the Health Department to get these people investigated...since if I check my credit, I am sure the first $112 charge went there regardless of my many calls to resolve the issue. Also, the Dr. that "saw" me over the phone this time, I have texted her 3 times asking why those not-talked-about referrals where showing on Athena and not the one we spoke about (lung doctor).

    Worst customer service! Not the clinic staff or the Doctors. It’s the scheduling line! So rude . Please work on it . They should be trained to talk with people. And this is not the first time ! Every time I called to schedule, they are very rude :(

    DO NOT COME HERE!!! These people made my girlfriend and I wait 3 HOURS for a dental walk in and when it was time to take her in they told her that they were going to have to schedule a PHONE CALL... WITH THE DENTIST! How is the dentist going to examine her OVER THE PHONE??? Horrendous service, not coming here ever again.

    The Human Resource girl, I think her name is Ely, was very rude. Very little customer service skills and seemed as though she was miserable at her job. She was short and cut me off and made me feel like she didn’t have the time of day. This was my first time visiting Tampa Family as a recommendation from some colleagues for opportunities as a provider but I was definitely disappointed with my first interaction. I lost interest after I was treated this way....kind gestures and words go a long way when you’re in this type of position. I hope Ely figures out how to make people feel more welcome when they visit the office.

    Long wait & short staffed . Waited on call back for results from MD and no call came . I stoped by a week later to follow up, only to be told doctor wants me to make apt to go over results. Lack of communication throughout facility . Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else !

    Worst service ever….! They got me waiting 1:30min for my apt and they were people after me for OB that went in first. I made an apt and I fill everything online came 20min early to help them and still WAITING. I’m a health professional as well and we always tell the patient waiting time or delays, we keep parientes update it but this service is a shame..!

    Absolutely horrible. Tried for (6) six months for a Referral to Tower Radiology . Tower called them on my behalf they wasn't able to get the Referral that I needed. .Six to eight months later Igot the news that no woman or man wants. Do not trust these people with your medic care

    The facility and parking lot were immaculate. The staff was friendly and helpful. There weren't very many people there -- the least I've seen in fact, since covid. I saw a physician who was very professional, answered all of my questions, and was also thorough. My thanks to the entire staff!!!

    My daughter continues to have to fight to get diabetic meds and other important meds Winn Dixie as well as I have to repeatedly call them with no response.many times.takes 6 weeks or more to get an appointment has gone way down.needs improvement
