This place is delicious. The complementary garlic rolls are slightly crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The garlic butter gives it a great flavor. The pizza was cooked perfectly. The bottom had a nice crunch and the dough was chewy, but could have used a bit more flavor. The bacon added a nice crunchiness and saltiness to the cheese, pepperoni, and pineapple. The muscles have a yummy, garlicky broth and were fresh and cooked well. Most of the french fries were crispy and crunchy, but some were less cooked. The service was helpful and accommodating and friendly.

Really nice server, baby high chair also provided, pizza is nicely thin and brown crusted and low salt. Fresh caprese is also really tasty. Both indoor and outdoor seating areas available.

More than just Pizza! The Muscles were very good, one of the best I've ever had! Garlic Knots were superb! Restaurant is fresh & quaint with a nice Bar and a nice selection of Craft Beer and Libations!

Being 100% Italian I had high hopes seeing the reviews. The good The sangria was delicious The Lobster bisque was lobstery. The portions are big. The Meh The service was frantic. I was the only person sitting at the bar and they don't have people just stationed there to interact and maybe upsell The not so good Frozen chicken cutlets for my chicken parmigiana, I know what frozen chicken tastes like. Random prices on beverages. The price listed on the board is not the price you pay it is only at happy hour. The garlic knot was ice cold. The "sauce" tasted like a can of Hunts tomato puree that was warmed,it had 0 flavor other than canned tomato. Really see no reason to return.

Today we enjoyed a veggie pizza, light on the cheese plus an Italian sub with a side of french fries. We were able to eat outside due to beautiful weather! The outside section is no smoking which is a bonus. We were looking especially for a place to dine outside/covered since I am currently on immunosuppressant drugs and cannot be exposed to sunlight. We even had leftovers that we took home. 👍🏼

Delicious! We ordered the Calusa chief pizza and the mozzarella sticks and both were amazing. The sauce has a ton of flavor and the pizza was LOADED with big chunks of fresh ingredients! Probably the best pizza I’ve had since moving from New York! If you like bland, boring , and processed pizza definitely don’t come here. If you like fresh and full of flavor, this is the place to go! We will definitely be back!

If you're bored with corporate pizza and wondering if there are bolder flavors you haven't tasted yet, Calusa will make your day. There is something about the seasoning in the crust and sauce that is unique and exciting, without resorting to anything painfully hot. They also have a fully stocked bar with a wide variety of beer and wine. I've had the Vegetarian several times (who knew how good artichoke hearts could be!) and the Greek. I often find myself marveling at just how wonderful whichever topping it was tastes in the bite I'm eating at the moment, with no idea what they did to make it do that. They find a way to bring out the best in every topping and combination. They must have put a lot of thought into their recipes and they have high standards for the quality of their ingredients. Service is also friendly and quick.

We are so happy for pizza and craft beer down the street from our house. And we were not disappointed. Everything was good and the service was really great. We went on a Friday night and it was busy, but the service never missed a beat. Will definitely visit again. 8/14/2023: I’m editing my review because I’m obsessed with their lobster ravioli, also not pictured the Calusa mussels is a must have. If you haven’t visited yet, it is definitely a place to try.

The attention was 10/10. You can customize your own pizza with the recommendations of the owner, the best garlic bread in Tampa and the wine selection was unbelievable. Def I’m going back

Edit: We went In again this last week and again had a wonderful time! I ordered the Eggplant Parm and he got the Chicken Alfredo. Both were delicious and the Calamari is always absolutely delicious and on point. I never miss getting Calamari whenever I visit here. We got Tiramisu and Italian Almond Cake. Both were incredible but the latter was to die for!! I couldn't be happier with randomly stopping by for a meal with my child. ******************************** Calamari was wonderful! Pizza was good. Wasn't crazy about the other pizza I purchased but that's my flavor preference. (Artichoke, mushroom, goat cheese) I'd like to see them make a white cheese pizza.

Love this place! Great pasta, pizza and calamari. If you have room left the tiramisu is amazing. We had shrimp flatbread pizza and tortellini pasta in pink sauce this time.

Pizza is in the name but they are so much more! I walked in and was greeted with a smile. Looking around I noticed they have Angry Chair, Coppertail, 3 daughters, and Cigar City on tap awesome that they have a hand full of local breweries. I started my visit with a espresso and Tomato Basil soup, Soup was right off the stove and not out of a microwave. After I moved on to The arugula pizza which was even better then I imagined. The crust was light and crisp, not even soggy in the center and the cheese was lightly browned to perfection. There was no room for dessert but I suggest dipping you pizza crust in the tomato basil soup.

Happened to be shopping last night in this plaza and decided to grab dinner with my husband. We thought this would be just a normal little pizza joint until we walked in. Full of people, trendy decor, welcoming staff, drink selections, and an ample variety of freshly made Italian dishes. There was a tv over the bar and we asked for the Rays game to be turned on - they willingly obliged and my husband was an official fan. This was a great meal among wonderful people. The food rivals that of much pricier area restaurants and it competes well. The owner Tulio spent a few minutes with us as well ensuring our experience was a great one. Highly recommend-

My family hasn’t had a bad meal from here yet! There’s a wide variety of pastas, pizzas, and sandwiches to select from. My husband and I really enjoy their Italian sausage and will create our own pasta bowl with vodka sauce. For the price, you get a great portion of food as well. On weekend nights, prepare to wait a bit since there aren’t a ton of tables inside (but it’s worth the wait).

Calusa Pizza is one of the best restaurants in town! From the several different pizza, pasta, and appetizer options, you really can’t beat it. They even offer complimentary garlic knots which is a big win in my book. Not only is their food top-tier, but their customer service is spot on too. If you’re looking to support a small, local business- this is the place to go!

First of all, I could smell the food all the way from Homegoods so I decided to follow the smell and stumbled into this amazing restaurant. The staff members were so nice and helpful and suggested food for me. Penne alla vodka is one of my favorite pasta dishes and it’s so hard to find a restaurant that makes it well, but they surpassed my expectations. This has to be one of the best penne alla vodka dishes I’ve ever had. The food was amazing and it was such a comfortable environment and really good food. I will definitely be back, and this may just be one of my new favorite restaurants!

Grabbed a quick lunch on Saturday with my hubby, and we were both impressed with the pizza and Chef salad. The pizza was delicious and generously topped — we had one slice with pepperoni and the other with sausage. Crust was tasty and perfectly crisp. The Chef Salad was made with super fresh ingredients and their homemade Ranch dressing was the perfect topping. We sat outside and enjoyed our beautiful fall weather. There is a nice small bar inside which will try another time. We will definitely be back!

I tried the 12' custom pizza, garden salad, and Greek spaghetti. Really all I can say is that it's just okay. Nothing stellar. The spaghetti was really bland, the garlic knots weren't very garlicky, and the pizza was simply adequate, though the crust wasn't very good.

Today, we went to the actual restaurant to celebrate my son's Birthday. We ordered pizzas, salad, stromboli. GLUTEN FREE FOOD AVAILABLE. Clean, nice restaurant. In the past, we had ordered take out pizza. It was delicious. Great food. Highly recommend.

Everything Excellent! Free garlic knots were superb! Best I ever had. One to a person, but big. Tasted like it was just made. Dough fantastic, right amount of garlicky oil. Large pizza with mushrooms and sausage very good! This is thin crust pizza. But filling. Dough had a nice taste. $13.99, toppings $1.50 each. Very good prices! Apple Pie cider was the best cider I ever had. Beautiful pale golden color. No bitter taste. Afraid it would be too sweet. Not at all. Was wonderful. Really has hints of apple pie Usually only drink 1, but had two. Large glasses. $7 each, but so worth it. Waitress said she's not sure if they will keep this on the menu. They should! Next time I will have the lobster bisque soup, though I think that was a special, and the mussels! Waitress was friendly and owner came to chat with each group. This is a small restaurant with about 8 tables inside, along with a lot of outdoor tables and umbrellas, about 9 or 10. Bar inside with about 8 stools. Sort of brightly lit, very clean, nicely decorated. Would be nice to have lower lighting in the evening.

An incredible found thank to the other reviewers. Amazing pizzas and very attentive service and owner. The place is very cute place too! Their pizzas are light and crunchy, perfectly cooked, and you can tell the ingredients and tomato sauce are so fresh. I would give them more stars if I could. Well, here I go...10 stars!

Excellent food! The pizza quality was fantastic and delicious. Great crust! You have to get the homemade almond cake! Superb. Loved how clean the restaurant was and the ambiance there. Sierra was our waitress and was amazing! She took pride in the work she does. I even asked if it was her family that owned the restaurant because that sense of pride and ownership is usually lost in most employees. She described the food with such detail and was spot on with the accuracy. Super attentive too! We had our two small children with us and she asked if we wanted it double cut for smaller slices for them. Will definitely be back!

The pizza is great !! Two thumbs up!! It may look like a fast food setting but it’s not. Very cozy yet upbeat setting with indoor and outdoor seating. The owner and the team, especially KellyJo were wonderful, making sure we were having a good time. Highly recommend 👍
