We
had
the
misfortune
of
holding
two
of
our
events
here.
both
were
very
badly
handled
by
the
management.
The
first
was
a
smaller
birthday
party,
during
which
the
service
was
terrible,
food
was
distributed
unevenly,
the
service
was
very
slow
to
refill
any
finished
items
and
did
not
hand
out
the
cold
drinks
to
all
attendees.
The
bathrooms
were
unclean
and
when
we
complained
they
brushed
it
off.
We
then
complained
to
the
owner
and
asked
him
to
ensure
that
our
second
event,
a
wedding
reception,
should
not
have
these
shortcomings.
He
gathered
the
managers
and
the
relevant
staff
to
his
office
and
questioned
them
about
the
poor
service
in
the
birthday
party.
He
gave
them
a
stern
warning
about
the
quality
of
service
and
assured
us
that
the
wedding
reception
will
have
no
complaints.
This,
however,
turned
out
to
be
a
show
put
on
for
our
sake
as
the
wedding
reception
was
even
worse.
For
the
wedding
we
asked
about
stage
set
up
for
bride
and
groom.
The
options
they
had
were
not
to
our
liking
so
they
said
that
we
could
get
an
external
organiser
to
come
in
and
do
it
for
us.
2
days
before
the
reception
the
decoration
manager
calls
us
to
tell
us
that
the
venue
doesn't
allow
external
companies.
We
reminded
him
of
the
original
agreement.
The
owner
then
assured
us
that
no
such
policy
exists
so
we
went
ahead
with
the
external
company
for
stage
set
up.
However
when
they
turned
up
the
management
turned
them
away,
we
called
them
and
told
them
of
the
original
agreement
and
after
much
deliberation
they
let
them
in
at
5.30PM.
The
event
was
supposed
to
start
at
7PM.
With
a
start
time
of
7PM,
when
we
arrived
at
6.30PM
we
found
that
the
lights
were
off
and
the
ACs
were
off.
It
was
a
very
hot
day
and
yet
the
ACs
were
turned
off.
The
management
was
nowhere
to
be
found.
I
talked
to
a
worked
and
at
6.45PM
the
ACs
were
turned
on
in
the
hall.
The
Lobby
ACs
remained
off.
Now
the
event
hall
is
very
large
and
it
took
around
3
hours
to
cool
properly
by
which
time
the
event
was
finished.
The
whole
event
took
place
in
30
degrees
Celsius.
This
was
measured
by
the
staff
at
The
Arena,
not
us.
The
stage
was
very
hot
and
when
we
raised
this
with
the
manager
he
said
he
will
arrange
for
some
fans.
30
minutes
later
there
is
no
fan.
When
we
raised
this
the
manager
said
that
it's
an
AC
hall
so
there
isn't
a
fan
available.
Why
were
we
promised
one
when
it
wasn't
available
in
the
first
place?
The
food
service
was
terrible.
The
staff
took
ages
to
replenish
finished
items.
we
had
to
ask
several
times
before
it
was
done.
The
staff
would
rather
stand
and
do
nothing
as
each
time
we
asked
for
something
they
would
react
negatively
to
it.
The
food
was
mediocre
at
best
and
the
menu
wasn't
what
we
were
promised
by
the
owner.
Overall
it
was
a
very
negative
experience
and
definitely
not
worth
the
money
we
paid
for
it.
