Such an incredible restaurant! It was recommended to us by our Uber Driver (shoutout to Mohammed, who is from Morocco!) and we were not disappointed at all!!! The food is EXQUISITE! We had never tried Moroccan food and we have been missing out. The spices, herbs, ingredients….everything blended together so beautifully and it was something that as soon as it hit our mouths, we knew we found an instant favorite. The veggie couscous and the merguez (sandwich and plate) were out of this world…..but I need to rave about one thing in particular, and that is the Moroccan Mint Iced Tea. Wow…..just wow. I’m from Texas so I love my tea. When I say that this tea BLEW all other tea out of the water (no pun intended) I mean it.

Authentic Moroccan food in a cute corner cafe. It really feels like being in Morocco, from the decor and music, to the phenomenal food! The mint tea is perfect and is served in Moroccan tea pots, and the veggie couscous is excellent!

Did not have their food here but we're here for a cup of coffee! I like the vibe at this place. It gave you a feeling of traveling to its region. The gentleman that helps me was nice and very accommodating! The coffee I had was delicious according to my taste bud! They do have outdoor and indoor seating! I will come back for dinner next time I m in the Portland area!

The portions were huuuuge! My garbanzo bean tagine could have fed three, and it was absolutely delicious. Some of it was a little spicy. Reccomend if you're looking for a weekend bite with no wait time.

Edit: we visited finally again and still legit. Fast service and food is hot and delicious. If you are thinking of going there, go. If you love delicious strong coffee and flavorful chicken and lamb and couscous it's a must visit when downtown. Close to Roseland if you're going to a concert. So delicious, excellent service and fast.

Quiet little place we wandered upon on a Saturday afternoon. Not busy, food made to order, and a mouthful of flavor. I wasn't expecting the side salad to flabbergast me but DANG it was good. The bread on my sandwich was very fresh and the sandwich itself was hot and stuffed full of sausage, olives, harissa, and parsley. I got the Moroccan mint tea and it was wonderful on a hot day.

Best Moroccan food I have had in a while. Also, the staff was super friendly. The guy who served me saw my futbol hat and gave me a scarf! Please come here, tip well, and pay forward the generosity! The bread and dips were perfectly creamy and spiced but not too heavy. The chicken tagine was delicate, tender and delicious. So good!

We ordered the beef meatball and lamb sausage with couscous. We liked both of them, especially the lamb sausage! The fried egg was also cooked really well to the just right texture. I’ll be back some time and tell my friends about this restaurant.

Delicious!!! When we went on Halloween, there was a water outage, so no water or coffee was available. We had to settle for cola. Despite the initial disappointment, the food turned out to be incredibly tasty and satisfying 😋. Highly recommend the Kefta! ✨

A cute little restaurant with ton's of flavours in each dish. The area, is a little sketchy with homeless people around, but it's worth visiting this super delicious place. My girlfriend and I were visiting Portland and ended up eating at this restaurant for 2x lunches. I'll be coming back here for the Chicken Tagine, Beet and carrot salad and the Moroccan Spiced Coffee. Yum!

Kasbah was incredible. The food not only beautiful but flavorful & fresh. The Garbanzo Bean Tagine with + 7 vegetables was stunning. It is a meal I will always remember & crave later. Highly recommend ordering a side of lamb sausage & the Mint Iced Tea with the meal, it acts as such a lovely sweet & refreshing balance in between delicious flavor bites.

I’ve never had Moroccan food, but I loved it. The beef meatballs were some of the best meatballs I’ve ever had. So flavorful and perfectly cooked. The owner is such a hard working, kind man. He was doing everything by himself and was so polite. The tea was so good as well. And the place is decorated beautifully. There was a blind man who came in and the owner made sure to help him to his seat, already knew his order, and got him some water even though it’s a restaurant where you get water yourself. He asked how our food was a thanked everyone who came.

Absolutely delicious, I can’t wait to go back. A new downtown favorite. This was my first time trying Moroccan food, I’m in love and I can’t wait to try more dishes! sad it took me this long to give it a try.

EDIT: in response to the owner’s comment. my mention about mid east was strictly about the vibes coz it was similar to an Iranian cafe. Regardless, from a food standpoint: the spice blend used is much milder and not true to authentic Moroccan food. Confirmed by a Moroccan friend of mine. ——— A neat little cafe with mid east vibes. We got the duo appetizers and the kefta tajin. The first thing I noticed was the food wasn’t authentic. That’s not to take away from the positives of this place. And It was probably Americanized to cater to the local crowd. nevertheless, both dishes were nice and tasted homemade.

Best food we've had in Portland! My partner and I are visiting from out of town and have been on the search for quality cuisine and didn't find it till we ate here. Highly recommend

Owner / chef was great to chat with. Delicious food! Wish I had more time in town to try other items from the menu. Got the kefta meatballs and some mint tea and loved them both.
