Good food and Great place for a big group fancy dinning. The easy RSVP was just a call away. Their manager Nigel was super helpful. My only personal regret was we did the a part carte instead of the 5 course set menu, which would have been their specialty. Will be back again!

Ziya is a fabulous restaurant. Food was just wow. View from the restaurant is Queens Necklace (Marine Drive). Ambiance is something that is very attractive. It’s one of the best restaurants that I have visited till date. Staffs are very attentive and they got us food according to our preference. It’s a must visit in South Bombay. For many years I had this wish to visit Oberoi as I had heard a lot about their gr8 Hospitality . This time during my Mumbai visit , I suddenly planned a visit to the Hotel & thought of having my dinner out there . It was a magical experience as the hotel itself is out of the world . The hospitality , food presentation was just brilliant . I had my food in Ziya . After visiting now I have decided that my business will be taken to such a level that I can book my rooms over here . Thanks for the wonderful memory which you people gave me . It's a nice place to bring your better half & surprise her which I will do some day, Trust me it will be a beautiful memory for her . Fabulous food, presentation and service. Mr shubham was extremely polite and attentive. We were confused abt the dessert and he very sweetly got an extra one from hus behalf! Even if u miss the mains its fine.. but defi try most of the appetisers!

Prix fixe and a la carte menus in the Oberoi Hotel with great bay views. We did the course menu with wine pairing, which came to approximately $200 American. With each course there were vegetarian options, and all of the wines were from Indian vineyards.

5 stars for location! Splendid view of Marine Drive. To fully enjoy it, go during the day. Making the reservation could help you to get seated next to window:) The starters tandoori aloo and thepla tacos were one of best appetisers, I have ever had. The papads were also distinct and delish. In the main cource, we had chilli garlic naan, zeera rice with the in-house speciality maharani dal a.k.a. dal makhni. Dal makhni was too salty, but maybe it was just that evening. Get it changed if you notice the same, I was too hungry to request the staff to change it. I regret it now 😫 The staff is friendly accommodative and they also explain you the dishes. I think I'm coming here again next time I'm in Mumbai. Highly recommended. I think my post already talks about the must haves. All thier dishes have 👩‍🍳 kiss :) if you wish to gift yourself or someone a fancy night out, this is a place to be :) Enjoyyyyyy!°°

Awesome experience dining at Ziya. After a week of having Indian food at a family wedding I thought another Indian restaurant would not work for me but it was an excellent and differentiated/unique experience.

Considering it's a luxury dining place, I liked the food just enough but the purdah biryani disappointed me. I am a biryani fanatic and everytime I am in india, I make sure I have biryani almost everyday. However, the aloo chaat, the charcoal prawn and the amritsari fish were quite good. The charcoal prawns definitely blew my mind. The service is top notch, as was expected, the view and ambience were amazing too

It's not the typical masala food you get in Mumbai however it has its own amazing combination of flavors. Coming to the best part, the picture perfect views from this place, It's to die for. We (my wife and I) are so glad that we decided to spend our last night (Dec 29th, 2022) at Hotel Trident Nariman Point, Mumbai, and also have dinner at Ziya Restaurant in The Oberoi, Mumbai. I believe Trident is also part of the Oberoi Hotels. We were thrilled by the room we got to stay that had windows facing the Ocean and the Nariman Point – a phenomenal view both during the day and specially at the night, when one can really see “Queen’s Necklace). The staff at the Trident was extremely pleasant, customer focused and ensured that we were comfortable. We very much appreciated the hospitality offered and had a very memorable stay at the Trident. Dinner at Ziya Restaurant at The Oberoi Nariman Point. The restaurant is owned by Chef Vaneet Bhatia, India’s # 1 Chef. The dinner at Ziya was par excellence. Not only every dish we ordered had a very unique and excellent taste, it was also presented in a way to make a whole gastronomic experience that incorporated visual and taste senses. The staff was excellent in helping select dishes for a unique experience. To top all of this, Chef Gurmeet Singh came to our table to welcome us and made our evening very delightful. We had two appetizers, Papri Chaat and Paneer balls, both of which were excellent. Pappri in the Chaat was presented as papri noodles to give an appearance of a bird’s nest. It is definitely a dish to have as an appetizer. For mains, we ordered saag paneer and Lamb curry, again both of which had such unique presentation and nourished and stimulated our taste buds. Paneer rectangles on saag were wrapped in zucchini slices (never seen that); Lamb on a leaf in a plate was served with Lacha parontha. We also had the Tandoori mushroom naan, which was unique in that it contained mushrooms. To top all this, we ended our meal with two deserts: (i) Carrot cake with mini- Jalebis and coconut containing sauce poured on top; and (ii) halwa with kulfi. Both deserts were excellent. At the end Chef Gurmeet Singh came over to our table and we asked to have a photo with him for which he obliged us. Chef Gurmeet Singh and all his staff that served us made our last night dinner experience one to remember and we still talk about it to our friends and relatives. I would highly recommend both the Ziya Restaurant for an exceptional gastronomic experience and stay at the Trident or the Oberoi, both of which are located side by side at Nariman Point. I wish we could have stayed longer. Maybe Next time.

We went to Ziya for Family Diwali Dinner yesterday , and it was the best choice . The staff was very much caring specially Surender who took all care and we went with options advised by him and Ziya lives up to its expectations . The food was very much presented well , the taste was awesome and the whole experience was a memorable one . No wonder the menus set by Michelin star Chef Vineet Bhatia and it truly showed the class of it in looks and taste . Will surely visit again !!!

After watching the final table my wife and I really wanted to visit one of Vineet Bhatia‘s restaurant. And it was not upto the expectations. A simple comparison the prawn at leopold cafe was way better than the prawn I had at Ziya. My wife and I had the seven course chefs tasting for dinner during our visit to Mumbai. Table setting and Presentation was 9/10 4 courses out of 7 were salty. It seemed like they used the same marinade for all 4 meats (shrimp, lobster, chicken, lamb). Which was very sad. My favorite of all the courses was the fish. Very delicately cooked. The dessert has to be the show stopper.. but was disappointing. Cutting down on number of courses and focusing more of each course would be more valuable. In my opinion.!!

Where should I begin. Fantastic views, amazing service and heavenly food. Every dish we ordered was fantastic. The lamb kabab was insane, and so was the dahi bhalla icecream with Chaat. The biryani was some of the best I've had. Totally worth the money. The chocolate samosa for dessert was an amazing finisher to a great meal.

Nice ambience !! Extremely good service. Had asked for a sea view table when i booked but did not get one . The portions are very very small & nothing over the top . Had the herb paneer tikka chilli burrata which was quite good . The beetroot gaulati with wasabi hummus was ok but had only 2 pcs in it . For the price tag of 1125 + taxes its was not worth it at all ? . In main course we had the Kofta with fenugreek sauce which was very crispy kofta with a different sauce ? . The paneer makhanwala was average . The dal maharani was pretty good . The breads were regular but good quality like all the other restaurants . For desert we had the paan kulfi which was delicious ? . Over all a good but expensive dining experience which did not impress me at all . We landed up paying 9500 between 3 of us without drinks ? which did not take it to that level as per the price paid . But that's what a michelin star at a five star would cost you i guess ? . Would i go there again ? ~ No thank you !! ?

In Desserts We had Highly Recommended Paan Kulfi which includes Pan Kulfi, Pan Rabdi and Mukhwas Granola and We Also Had Pistachio Gulab Jamun Creme Brulee. Both The Desserts Were Awesome and Fabulous.
