The place is close to 175 years old. Thus had to pay this place a visit. They have a wide range of Puri dishes to choose from. We went for: • Aloo Methi Puri • Chole Puri • Boondi Raita • Mango Lassi • Aamras The chole puri stole the show for me. The lassi was so very rich and refreshing. It tends to be a little crowded, however the crowd moves quickly and the services are quite quick. The staff is very cordial and the prices are unbelievably low.

Had some puri aloo and Puri aam ras. Taste of the sabzi and the Aamras was really good. Puris felt a little doughy. Also the seating space is quite cramped and you may end up having to share a small table with strangers. Good to try once especially for those who love Aamras. However do not expect a thick creamy Aamras, it's actually quite diluted given the price point. Almost like a mango milkshake served in a bowl.

This place is really amazing, the food they offer is the authentic taste with proper hygiene and adequate quantity. The taste is superb, I tried the Royal Thali and to be very honest I couldn't finish it on my own, so come prepared and with an empty stomach to enjoy every dish from them. I'll definitely recommend you to give them a visit.

Pancham Puriwala started selling poori sabji from 1848, even before the CST station was constructed. They sell varieties of food items, but famous for it's Panchami Thali which has 5 different types of pooris (sada, beetroot, masala, paneer, methi) served with different sabjis, rice, papad, kheer, boondi raita and chaas. During rush hours the waiting is longer, customers need to adjust and sit as the space is a bit small. Service is good, worth waiting for your turn to get a seat and have delicious food severed in here. Note: They do take care of the Jain diet as well

Pancham Puriwala is pure vegetarian restaurant which is located near to CST station, Mumbai Maharashtra India . This restaurant owner came from Uttar Pradesh and started their Puri business in Mumbai after few years their succeed in this business, then started a restaurant named it Pancham Puriwala. Pancham Puriwala mainly known for their pancham thali & this thali is quite famous in local, travellers and food lovers. Beside this thali they also serves so many other types of thali and some other types of food items ( and we called as combo like Rajma chawal , Paneer Chawal, Chola Chawal, Chola puri, Rajma puri and many more).. In Pancham thali it's consist of five different types of Sabzi (gravy) like Chola, Paneer, Aloo Tamatar, Bhendi fry and Kadi & four different types of puri :- 1 piece masala puri, 1 pic beetroot puri, 1 pic besan stuff puri and 1 pic Sadi puri , Matar Pulao , kheer , Chacha.. My experience was amazing and am loving their thali, this thali cost me Rs.150. Which is quite pockets friendly.. Timing 10 am - 11 pm

Pancham Puriwala is a legendary Mumbai restaurant that has been serving up delicious North Indian fare for over 160 years and above. It is located opposite CSTM railway station, making it a convenient spot to grab a bite to eat before or after your train journey. I have been to Pancham Puriwala on multiple occasions, and I am always impressed by the quality and taste of the food. The restaurant is known for its puris, which are light, fluffy, and perfectly fried. But the thalis are also excellent, offering a variety of delicious dishes at a very reasonable price. On my most recent visit, I had the Pancham Thali for lunch. The thali included aloo sabzi, chole sabzi, puri, roti, dal, rice, and raita. The aloo sabzi was rich and flavorful, while the chole sabzi was hearty and satisfying. The puris were perfectly fried and served with a generous helping of aloo sabzi and chole sabzi. The dal was creamy and delicious, and the rice was fluffy and well-cooked. The raita was a refreshing accompaniment to the other dishes. Overall, the Pancham Thali was a delicious and satisfying meal. The food was well-prepared and flavorful, and the portions were generous. I would highly recommend the Pancham Thali to anyone looking for a tasty and affordable North Indian meal. The restaurant can be crowded, especially during peak hours. The seating area is small and cramped. I highly recommend the Pancham Thali for lunch. It is a delicious and satisfying meal that is well worth the price.

Seriously this place is over-hyped. Saw so many reels & reviews of this place so decided to visit. But I was very much disappointed. Food taste is not so good. Even homemade Puri-bhaji is more delicious than this place. We ordered their Pancham thali which has 4-5 types of poori & bhajis along with chhas.I also ordered lassi which was very good in taste but except that I didn't like even a single item. Ambiance toh... I don't even want to talk about it😒. Giving 2 stars only because of price as it's very budget friendly & I think that is the only plus point they have.

Overjoyed I was - eating at this more than a century old restaurant ! In the morning when you are on the run and you get to eat such delectable meals served piping-hot, you’ll be overjoyed as well. In 1848, a humble man - Pancham Sharma - came to Bombay from Agra on a Bullock cart. He started an eatery/stall in those days to feed and to earn. He started with Pancham (5) Poories, Aaloo Bhaji and pumpkin sabzi🎃. People devoured it like they were hungry from ages. Present day - not much has changed in the restaurant with addition of a little more dishes to the menu. And that simplicity of their is the essence that people love Pancham Pooriwala so much. The restaurant has a simple seating area with quick service. I had the Pancham Thali which had Plain Poori, Beetroot Poori, Palak Poori, Paneer Poori, and Masala Poori. A Paneer gravy sabzi on the side - we had a terrific meal. I was so excited to come here and have their meals. My excitement was worth the great experience I had while having their signature poori dishes. Do not miss the place when near CSMT !

Pancham Puriwala is iconic eating joint turned into a restaurant. You can term it as mumbai's heritage eating place still serving. Going back in time when it started in 1848 by Mr. Pancham Das Sharma as a eating joint serving only puri bhaji (Puri : golden brown deep fried round bread and Bhaji : potato - pumpkin medium thick curry) As it was growing and getting popularity, timely there was addition in the menu of the restaurant. Currently on it's menu there are lot many things added like different types of puris, bhaji's (different vegetables curry), rice dal and desserts. Including plain puri, they are serving five types of puris. Plain puri (regular wheat flour), green puri (spinach), red puri (beetroot),  masala puri (mix spices) and paneer puri( indian cottage cheese). Location of pancham puriwala is very prime, situated on mostly busy perin nariman street, bora bazaar, just opposite to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai (CSTM). It caters to people from all walks of life. Mind it lunch and dinner serving hours are always busy, specially lunch hours on all the weekdays. The only drawback of the restaurant is the space, very small place, very congested, no privacy having your own table and eating in peace, need to share with other customers, but to try the pancham legacy it's worth. Restaurant has a signature dish called as Pancham Royal Thali.

It's within walking distance from CSMT station. The seating arrangement is not at all comfortable. Pancham Thali was good. All puris fried in Dalda Vanaspati. Kadhi pakoda made in Mastered oil, Alu sabji was best. Kheer was like Rice mixed with a little milk and less sugar. Butter milk was ok. 4 types of puris were good. Paneer sabji was average. If you want to try, just order a small quality of anything or share a thali between 2 or 3 so that you can get an idea if you really want to order another one or not. I recommend this place if you want affordable tasty and simple food around CSMT station.

The iconic food joint of Mumbai. And have all the reasons to be one. The location of the joint , the long queue of people outside and most imp the owner guides and helps you to park your car even without moving from his place. Then comes the staff who are just so so energetic and motivated to serve each and every who steps inside. Right from an elderly person to a small child. Needless to say food is just so so amazing and pocket friendly. Will visit again is the promise that you will make it to yourself for sure.

Food was delicious as compared to the price. We had ordered Pancham Special Thali. The service was nice too. The staff are very well behaved and polite. The place is generally crowded during lunch/dinner time, so be ready to stand in the queue. There's a single wash basin which was ok. And, due to the lack of space, a stranger might sit across you on the same table.

In covid, they are following all the precautions like temperature check and sanitisation . The place is clean and all the staff are polite. I had masala puri special thali and all the items in it were delicious and quantity is enough for two people. Completely pocket friendly place.

Here at Pancham Puri You can have tummy full Food with reasonable price in South Bombay. But if you are looking for some Hygienic and Sophisticated restaurant than please don’t go here. As the setup is very old and very small place. But this place is not just a restaurant but an experience so I will say A must visit. North Indian people won’t find Sabzi so tasty. But do try pancham puri (Five types of puri basically with different different stuffings) & Aam lassi (It tastes heavenly)

When quality, hygiene, taste and raw materials are comprised you get very cheap food. This is that place. Food is oily (dalda based). Small hotel, so crowded & congested. Cost ₹. No place for hand washing. Food prepared beforehand and stored in large containers. Served during order. Only puris are fried here.

I visited this place twice but slightly disappointed by their service.people are always in a hustle here.I am a person who indulge food with each morsel. So if u are a busy person and want to grab a homely style meal n leave this is the place for you. I ordered special thali ₹135 and pancham thali. As the name of the restaurant suggest they serve different types of puris no doubt the puris was hot crispy and flavorful, but the other dishes they serve here are quite ok in their favour, they serve two allu dishes one dry n one with gravy, one panner dish, chole, kadhi with one pakoda, and bundi raita, sweet dish varies. The ambience is very much uncomfortable for me..they have two sections on the ground n one above it. Seating arrangement is quiet congested here. both the time we got a table upstairs so the tables were quiet close to each other one can barely pass through without spilling anything. The table was sliding as I kept my feets on it.The fans are too close to the tables that the paper plates tissues and glasses few alway if it is not filled. Another thing here is their kitchen is downstairs only.so the tadka seems to get into everybody's throat.quiet a experience here. Also the waiters are till rude as I didn't knew the floor server is different and the one who takes the order was different cuz they were casual clothes. May be I'll visit next time and try their some other dishes. Hope they can work better and offer a good dining experience.

The service was great 👍 Ambience is fine 🙂 The food quality & quantity was great 👍 Very importantly is pocket friendly 😊 So I ordered their Pancham Special Thali which was served with 5 sabjis, boondi raita, papad, pulao, 1 Rooh Afza Lassi small sized glass & a sweet dish which was Rice Kheer. Paneer was so soft I was just loving it more and more as I was taking the bite. Along with the Thali I also ordered Chole-Paneer Bhature which was also nice not that bad. And in refreshment I ordered Chaas which was too good. Highly Recommended!!! You should try this once if you are in CST only 5 mins walking 🚶‍♀️

The place is a great option to dine in for not only vegetarians but for all.The food especially the thali is pocket friendly and the quantity is enough to leave you full ig. Hence if you're looking for a place to dine out for lunch or dinner it would be great. The food offered is not only vegetarian but is also under the Satvic category. Hence it's a great option for vegetarians and a must eat place if you're looking to dine out. Now as it's located within a lane which makes the space for parking already cramped also which is just beside the main road finding parking space for your car might get a bit hectic as it's located beside CST which usually is a crowded place hence if you get parking it's well and good else you'll have to park somewhere else and then come walking.

An Authentic Culinary Adventure For those who have an insatiable love for food and are willing to explore hidden gems, Pancham puriwala is a place you cannot miss. Tucked away in the vibrant Fort area of Mumbai, this unassuming restaurant may be small in size, but it delivers big on flavor. Specializing in desi Puris and sabji, it offers a delightful culinary experience that is well worth the visit. The ambience is honestly not so cozy with a quite modest and local setup. The seating inside may not be the very comfortable. But, for once, It's a place where you can take a break from fancy ambiance restaurants and immerse yourself in a genuine dhaba experience. We opted for the Royal Pancham thali, and it exceeded our expectations. This grand platter consisted of five different types of Puris, ranging from simple to stuffed, accompanied by an assortment of six flavorful sabjis. To complement the meal, they served rose lassi and a rose kheer. The thali proved to be incredibly satisfying, with generous portions that left us feeling content and fulfilled. The price was reasonable, making it an excellent value for money. When you arrive at the restaurant, be prepared to join a lengthy queue of eager diners. The popularity of the restaurant is evident from the bustling crowd outside. While the place can get overcrowded, and the seating inside may not be the most convenient, the authentic flavors and culinary experience make it well worth the wait and slightly cramped conditions.

Pure veg restaurant with reasonable price tag. They have thalis with nearly 5 different types of puris. You can have good taste with aam panha or amaras, depending on the availability. Service is fast and staff is cooperative. The only thing is of parking 🅿️ space and there is always waiting period of 15 minutes.

Place is very close to CSTM railway station. We reached nearly 2:00pm and were put on wait for half hour. After waiting we ordered pancham thali (Rs 190/-) and sada thali (Rs 95/-). Taste of food was not that great as per reviews written however the it’s very pocket friendly. The hotel looks very old and people were waiting for lunch outside. The chass and masala puri taste was good but subjis were not good in taste.

This place is very old in mumbai. More than 170 years. It is near by Chhatrapati Shivaji maharaj terminus.its always crowded. In Summer season Aam Ras puri is best. They have varieties of puri and bhaji. Its in reasonable cost.

Visited pancham puri to experience the thali...as was heard lot about it .. believe Me it was a big disappointment...we ordered royal thali and it wasn't royal...it was just a regular thali you can get in any other regular restaurant.. Many stuff which was included they replaced it by saying its not Available... Avoid it... there are lot more places to have good food....we left 50% of the food....👎

160+ year old food junction which offers a great taste of 5 varieties of puri with sabzi. Really great service. As the hotel is small, it's crowded, but that's what it makes it worth!
