If you are looking for luxurious fine dining spot to intrigue some body, close to Mumbai International Airport, Baluchi at The LaLIT is one of the best available spot. 🌺 Baluchi offers signature pan Indian cuisines along with the finest cocktails and mocktails. To their enticing la carte menu Baluchi has added range of Kebabs & Cocktails 🍹 . Here they offer best of curated veg / non veg traditional frontier kebabs along with the choicest of drinks. 🥂🥃 Walk in and the ambient lighting, wooden furniture, the copper utensils, the decor and artifacts reminds us the warmth of traditional hospitality of India. 🇮🇳 We visited Baluchi on rainy Thursday amidst unusually heavy traffic. However, the ambiance, the live combination of ghazal and tabla had a quick soothing effect uplifting our mood to begin our Kebabs & Cocktails experience. The waiter started serving the different kebabs and chef kept on explaining the minute preparatory notes. The aroma was tempting and we started gobbling the kebabs. All were delicious, loaded with flavor and innovative in taste. Being a Konkani, I loved the Konkani tawa fish. 🐠 There are large options of mocktails and cocktails to choose from. We tried four and to our surprise all were unique in taste and presentation. Lazeez Sangria was the unanimous favorite among us. The services is exceptionally better than the world standards. Staff were courteous, polite, respectful and professional. An ideal date or business meeting venue. 🎯

Follow me @kapaianita on Instagram for more such interesting reviews. Embarked on a culinary journey at Baluchi, The Lalit, Mumbai, where the magic of flavors intertwines seamlessly with the spirit of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The ambience speaks of inclusivity, and the service was as warm as the colors of India. The starters, a symphony of tastes, hinted at the culinary wonders yet to unfold. The innovative Express Lunch Service, a marvel in efficiency, brought forth dishes like Butter Chicken with Naan, Millet Khichadi, and a cooling Nimbu Pani, all within 10 minutes of placing our order. Beyond the delectable spread, The Lalit's philosophy of embracing all shines through. As champions of inclusion, The Lalit pioneers the way by extending healthcare benefits to LGBTQ employees, creating a rainbow that transcends corporate boundaries. With the sweet notes of Gulab Jamun and the unique Paan Kulfi, this experience was a tribute to both Indian cuisine and the spirit of togetherness. 🌈🍛 #BaluchiFlavors #InclusiveHospitality #ExpressLunchMagic

Located at the ground floor of this massive 5 star property The Lalit Mumbai, Baluchi serves some delicious authentic pan Indian cuisine. I recently made a plan with my colleagues to try their Navratri Thali during the ongoing Navratri season. They served: Roasted papads to start with… Sabudana Vada and Sweet Potato cutlets amongst the starters which were just so crispy and perfect appetisers to begin my meal with A dried sweet potato dish which is usually eaten on its own, this had coarsely grounded peanuts added in it The sabudana kheer was super duper creamy and thick and was a perfect saviour to go along with some sweet and spicy sabjis Amongst the sabjis they served Paneer Butter Masala and Aloo ki sabji, both were perfectly balanced and it just didn’t feel like I was eating sabjis without onion and garlic The same was paired with Rajgira roti and sabudana papad The thali would’ve been incomplete without fruits in it and the fruit bowl consisted of pineapple, grapes and anjeer They also served special upvas wali khichdi which is in dry form made out of shyama And lastly a tall glass of thick lassi loaded with dryfruits to end your meal with… All this at just Rs. 1200 + GST This place has a beautiful royal ambiance with a rustic feel and some soothing live music played by tabla and harmonium artists Would definitely visit next time to try their North Indian cuisine

The food is very ordinary. It doesn't taste different versus what you would get at a roadside Indian restaurant. Staff appeared to be new, not v familiar with even the limited menu (this seems to be a problem with Lalit properties generally). Decor is simple, ambience is nice. This is as of Feb 2022. Google incorrectly shows the restaurant as closed.

Room: The quality of a hotel room is an important factor in overall guest satisfaction. A well-appointed room with comfortable bedding, clean linens, modern amenities, and a functional layout can make a significant difference in the guest experience. Guests may also appreciate thoughtful touches such as complimentary toiletries, a well-stocked minibar, and ample storage space. If the Hotel provides comfortable and well-maintained rooms with modern amenities, it is likely to receive positive feedback from guests.

This is by far the worst experience you can have in a 5star. As soon as you enter, the place is smelling of moist furniture! Once your nose gets used to that, you are facing the most untrained staff you can ever find in a restaurant. One of our friends was Jain and asked for suggestions and the waiter said yes to everything for Jain. When we realized he doesn't know anything, we called the chef who told us otherwise! After ordering, most of the starters were ice cold. The plates and glasses were stained as well. Please do not go here! its is disaster !

The trimmings of your inn are the individuals who favor entering over and over. Baluchi is a rich high end café of The Lalit Mumbai in Andheri East, Chakala and is extraordinary compared to other feasting objections for curries in the city. This upscale exquisite feasting space is ideal spot to bring somebody you are meaning to intrigue. The kitchens of Baluchi are known to serve a Pan Indian menu that traversed the country, zeroing in incredibly on Awadhi flavors. I like the way that each dish comes matched with a wine, in the event that you pay attention to your wines. Take a stab at wiping up the curries with a Baluchi naan or varqi parantha or missi roti. A pot of fragrant biryani won't go not right here. To carry your night to its legitimate end enjoy Baluchi's rich treat range. Finish, gulab jamun, zafrani angoori rabdi, anjeer badam ka halwa, taaze kate falon ka nazrana, kesari kulfi and paan ki kulfi. Calorie watchers can fold righteous into a sugar free rasmalai. The basic bar-entryway access to Baluchi streams into a roomy good old looking lounge area, decked up with wooden furniture shrouded in light red upholstery. The inconspicuous downplayed tastefulness of the insides quiets you and causes you to feel very comfortable. Baluchi is costly, save it for extraordinary events. The Dal Baluchi is finger licking acceptable The menu is Pan Indian yet with a stressed Awadhi flavor On offer are additionally some intriguing South Indian arrangements, for example, the stew and kottu curry

Of course the choice for Vegetarian is less normally than for non veg but we have always stuck to the traditional food that we like here which is Dal Baluchi and Panner Pasanda both were perfect. The Kebab were akhrot ki she and was good though found it slightly oily. On recommendation we ordered the Naan Baluchi which is one where 3 or 4 persons can have it. And was it good? Amazing

We had an extremely great time with the revolutionary naan and wine tasting at the Naan’ery. The naans were crafted to perfection by Chef Jomon and we thoroughly enjoyed the food presented to us. In particular, my favourite was the truffle naan! Despite a busy event at the main hall, Chef Jomon was extremely hospitable to drop by to our table. He was very polite, friendly and kind. We enjoyed the great conversations we had with him about the Naan’ery concept, his experience as a chef and the common love for food we shared. We will definitely be visiting again for the great food and even better service!

The Baluchi at the LaLit is an excellent choice for North Indian food, right up the league with ITC's Dum Pukht. We visited on a weekday and the place was empty. There was live old Bollywood music being played. The service was slow and I found it to be inferior to what you'd expect at a Fine Dine, but not bad by any standards. Recommended Dishes: Veg Seekh Kebab - Really well made and tasty. Paan Biryani - It was alright. It was fragrant and flavourful but not as good as Dum Pukht. Dal Baluchi - Definitely one of the best black daal you can have in Mumbai. Very rich. Garlic Naan - Excellently made! Average Dishes: Dum Ka Paneer - It was alright. Not great. A typical paneer vegetable in thick gravy. The overall damages for the above would typically be above Rs. 2500, however you can save some money using Zomato Gold. This place is surely worth a visit if you crave for authentic North Indian.

Exquisite tastes at Zaika-e-Awadh Zaika-e-Awadh food festival is a specially curated menu under the aegis of Chef Mohd. Rais Alam and Chef Parimal Sawant. True to the name this menu befits the food eaten by Nawabs. I got a chance to savor the dinner spread at Baluchi. Fresh rose shot made with rose petals and with a little tanginess of lemon. Starters: 1) Gosht Zafrani seekh kebabs - traditional minced meat with saffron flavor. The taste was marvelous. 2 )Murgh Parachay - boneless chicken breast pieces marinated in cream, cheese and cardamom. roasted on tawa. Finger licking stuff. The texture was a major drawing factor to this dish. 3) Mawa aur mawey ki seekh - dry fruit minced and mawa roasted on clay oven. The fragrance was totally spell binding. 4) Subz ki galawat -Traditional galawat with tender tawa fried vegetables. Main course. 1) Bhuney pyaaz aur mirch ka Murgh - Semi-thick chicken curry made of rich onion and tomato gravy. I fell in love with the curry in this dish. 2) Shahi Nihari -Traditional nihari in royal mild spices and flavors. The nihari was handled really well by the Chef, it turned out to be a delight. 3) Begum Hazrat Mahal Subz Korma - Seasonal vegetables cooked in tomato gravy, finished with mawa & cream. 4) Talley aloo ka Qorma - Potatoes fried over extremely low heat and simmered in the saffron-tinged gravy 5) Dal baluchi - signature preparation of Baluchi of black lentils on a charcoal fire, finished with cream. A vegetarian dish worthy of giving competition to the non-vegetarian menu. 6) Safed Chawal - Basmati steamed rice. 7) Rotiyon ki tokri - assorted rotis. 8) Taftaan - A traditional Middle Eastern bread. It can be had with any gravy dish. The taste is lovely and the fragrance is laden with the essence of cinnamon. Sweets. 1) Gulkand ki phirnee- traditional Nawabi phirnee with a gulkand twist. Served in a kullhad, one cannot go wrong with this dessert. It simply rubs its magic on you and is the perfect end to a long meal. 2) Shahi tukra- Perfect soak bread. The atmosphere was accentuated with the renditions of classic Ghazals sung live by a duo performing live in the center of the restaurant. The interiors of the place are laced with paintings and artifacts depicting the Awadhi culture. The service was top of the class and all orders and dishes were handled carefully. Indeed, a place which gives the royal treatment to their customers. I highly recommend this place for its taste and variety of dishes.

One-line headline – Drooling Goan Cuisine Comes Alive with Susegado Mumbai food festival at The Lalit. Xacutti. Recheado. Xeque xeque. Ambot tik. Feijoada. Sorpotel. Never before would you have been so semantically food stumped. Amidst the whiff of coconut, the hiss of an oven and the sizzle in a wok, The Lalit Hotels prime restaurant Baluchi is faltering with inflexion and diphthong of typical Goan dishes. It’s time to feast with the array of the Goa’s culturally rich cuisine carefully curated by Executive Chef Tanmoy Majumdar (and his team). Believe me the visit will surely be etched out as a fond memory for a lifetime. Minute detailing has been kept in mind. The ambiance has been revamped to get the Goan beach feel. Vintage wine bottles adorn the stacks to enhance the Goan backdrops. Famous Goan melodies play in the backdrop. You are welcomed and garlanded with a beautiful creative sea-shell neckpiece (unlike a floral garland). And yes, this is a keep-sake memory from the stables the Lalit Hotels group for you. Such subtle gestures speak volumes of the Limitless Hospitality of The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group. Kudos to Mr. Keshav Suri, Executive Director - The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, to come up with this enticing brainwave / Concept of Executive Chef Pop-up to cross-promote Executive Chefs and bring to life the various flavours of India in their hotel properties. The buzz is strong that the group has an amazing line-up of never-done before food festivals. The Susegado Mumbai food festival at The Lalit will be on from 21st to 30th July 2018. Make sure you experience the true unmatched and scintillating flavours.

Stay Away....Dangerous Hygiene!!! We had dinner tonight thinking it would be a good experience. Turned out to be horrible....A HAIR in our paneer dish ruined the complete evening. So while we waited for its replacement our breads got cold. To top it all the manager instead of accepting their mistake had the audacity to come and tell me that the hair must have fallen into the dish post preparation on its way from the kitchen to our table...10 M at best....Not the kind of food or service expected if one is paying almost 2k for a dish and brand Lalit....The wrong kinda magic
