Authentic kerela cuisines and absolutely delicious. I especially enjoyed their chettinad chicken and chicken 65. The veg thali was also delicious. Highly recommended place for amazing food that doesn't dent your budget

I had been to Deluxe for Onam sadhya on 29/8/23. Had a very poor experience. The service was poor didn't provide banana, beetroot pachadi, cabbage thoran, payasam was in a small container which wasn't served again though the meal was unlimited, water was not served and very crowded the owner almost drived us out of the place. Poor overall experience won't be visiting again. A big No No!

Oh dear, it was marvelous to dine here! The restaurant was clean, tidy and welcoming but it was just a beginning. We were greeted by a lovely host who took care of us and recommended us in a very sensitive way, their lunch menu. It was quite a show for eyes, and then a heaven in mouth. And the service matched the taste. The overall experience was a true delight. Besides that - the price was quite low for so outstanding meal and for two persons we paid only 1000 INR.

An amazing place serving Kerala cuisine. The sadya (thali) served on the banana leaf is amazing. People who wish to try an authentic kerala meal should definitely visit this place. The best option for a vegetarian would be the sadya. If you want to try something else, try their kerala parotta, appam with their kadala curry. For non-vegetarians this place is a heaven with a lot of options available.

I don't have much understanding of Kerla food. I eat idli, uttapam and dausa many times. But I have my choices. In this restaurant there are two portions. Normal area and AC area. I took food in normal area and didn't try to know about AC area. Another thing, I took only few veg items, so my review is based on that. It is in a street which is not looking very good. Since metro work is going on nearby, so I don't think you will get any taxi nearby. You have to walk few 100 meters. Food was fine but can't be considered as delux. People working here can't speak Malayalam. Since, I can't speak as well but this information is only as I asked them. Behaviour and services in this place was not bad. Payment can be done via card, UPI or in case as per customer's choice. Food prices are not too high but not like a dhaba where you can get cheaper food too. Food quality was not bad but I can't say it very good.

Fantastic place to have Kerala food, they serve the typical taste of kerela which we look for and expect from a kerela food place. The taste of food is very good and the quality is also good. The food is also typical and will give you a sense of originality. I had chetinad chicken, prawn masala, surmai fry and parotta which tasted very well.

I recently dined at the "Delux" restaurant in Mumbai, and I had an enjoyable culinary experience. The restaurant maintains good cleanliness, which is always reassuring for diners. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the delicious food. "Delux" serves a variety of authentic Kerala dishes that are bursting with outstanding flavors. If you're a fan of Kerala cuisine, you won't be disappointed by the taste and quality of the food. However, one aspect to consider is that the restaurant's location in Mumbai might not be very convenient for everyone, so it's advisable to plan your visit accordingly. Additionally, the pricing at "Delux" leans towards the higher side, but the exceptional taste of the food makes it a worthwhile indulgence for those craving authentic Kerala flavors in the heart of Mumbai. In summary, "Delux" restaurant in Mumbai near CST terminal offers a delightful culinary journey with its outstanding Kerala dishes, though its location might require some extra effort to reach, and it comes at a relatively higher cost.

This is one of the oldest Kerala restaurants in South Mumbai. Located in a lane near the famous Flora Fountain. The building is many decades old as is the case with all the buildings in this part of the town- hence the ambience is not great. However, this does not impact the quality of food. You can relish typical Kerala cuisine _ vegetarian and non vegetarian, at reasonable rates. Service is prompt. The place is very popular , so there is a waiting time to get a seat at peak hours.

I bought One Chicken Biryani, Chicken chettinadu gravy... Everything smelled like fish, I hate fish myself. And the quantity of the gravy and biryani was very less , check the pic below. And the worst part is Even the Dal (veg) smelled like fish.... I was doubting my nose but even my family said the same. I was really disgust. I have many Kerala friends.....I know the smell of coconut oil, but fish ...🤢 Go anywhere near but not here, especially if you are in a group of more than 4 people. 'coz the biggest table is of 4 which is also conjunsted.... I would not recommend this place

This used to be my favourite restaurant for a long time but i went yesterday. The interiors have improved but the food has worsened. The spice levels have gone up considerably, the amount of variety in their sadya has gone down, and the overall satisfaction is not there. For example their sadyas had different types of banana chips and savouries which was absent yesterday. The number of vegetables has reduced. And the worst thing was that eating just a little rice made me feel bloated, which probably means they are putting soda to fill you up for their unlimited thalis. My friends ordered prawns and fish fry which was strictly average. They also ordered steamed fish which was basically fish fried with lot of masal gravy and kept inside banana leaves. Very sad to see my favourite restaurant become worse

There's a reason this place is packed during meal times! Incredible food and amazing service. Try their Chicken Chettinad and Kerala Chicken along with any fish of your choice. Sumptuous food and a happy heart! One of the iconic places in town for Kerala food.

Authentic South Indian Food restaurant. I had chicken masala with red rice. The chicken was very well cooked. Aviyal, pappadam, mixed vegetable and pickle were complimentary. The taste of the curry reminded me of food in Kerala. You have to search this place as the location is in smaller bylanes. Service is good. I will visit again. You have a choice of eating on a banana leaf.

Tried beef roast (fry was not available), it smells like row, less quantity and too costly. Good that we have ordered only one. You may other dishes, but beef is not at all recommended. Try your luck.

This is like a hidden gem for tourists, this place is near to the csmt the shivaji railway terminal, as u take a walk from csmt to here u can see the old Mumbai building built by the British which are now maintained by the company's took over those for rent,at night they'll be beautifully lighted. Coming to the restaurant it's a nice joint for seafood lovers they have fresh seafood available. Make sure u ask them their special dish and try that it's good. Bon appetite

This is one of the best places for authentic Kerala food in Fort, Mumbai. Located right in the hustle bustle of lanes in the fort area, this small but humble place is easily accessible for office goers in Mumbai. They serve dimple South Indian food, very reasonably priced and the service is also very quick. The aapam, paratha, and veg as well as non veg meals are all very good and filling. Their special veg lunch served on a banana leaf is very soothing, just the right thing you need on a humid Mumbai afternoon. Add to that friendly staff who are very generous in serving you extra pappadam and payasam will definitely make your day.

Deluxe Kerala Restaurant in Fort Mumbai is a hidden gem that offers an authentic taste of Kerala cuisine. The restaurant is a small and cozy eatery that provides a perfect ambiance to enjoy the delicious food. The restaurant has a compact family room on the first floor which adds to the overall experience. The restaurant's menu is diverse, but the standout dishes are the seafood curries and biryanis. The King fish curry with rice, pappadam, and a slice of shallow-fried King fish is a must-try. The biryanis are also exceptional and feature a small-grain, ghee-flavored rice that is different from the traditional basmati rice biryanis. Mutton biryani, egg biryani, and King fish biryani are some of the popular options. The real highlight of Deluxe Kerala Restaurant is their famous banana leaf meal, or sadhya, which is a traditional feast meal typically served on special occasions in Kerala. The sadhya meal includes a variety of dishes such as parippu curry, sambar, avial, olan, thoran, pachadi, and more, all served on a banana leaf. The flavors and presentation of the sadhya are authentic, and it is a must-try dish for anyone visiting the restaurant. The restaurant's service is friendly, and the staff is knowledgeable about the dishes they serve. The prices are reasonable, making it an affordable option for food lovers. Overall, Deluxe Kerala Restaurant is a must-visit spot for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Kerala cuisine in Mumbai. The restaurant's cozy ambiance, delicious food, and exceptional service make it an unforgettable dining experience. With a 4-star rating from a satisfied customer, you can be sure that Deluxe Kerala Restaurant won't disappoint!

This hotel is renovated and reianugrated recently and the whole interior is changed...and it's looks much better than previous. I am not sure about the rooms currently as I have not availed room services but considering the competition in area it has to be good. Bit one must check before check in..

Found this gem of a place via Zomato and I am so happy I did! This place is literally hidden away in the bylanes of old Bombay and when you look at it from the outside it looks like any other normal restaurant. But the food they served us here was heavenly. We had beef roast, kerala parotta and prawns masala. The quality and quantity of the food was AMAZING! The authentic kerala taste in the masala and the steaming hot parottas made pur tummies full really fast but the heart still wanted more. We were dying to try their famous squid fry but it was unfortunately not available that day. Definitely going back here again soon to try out squid and all the other dishes. They also take care of hygiene really well and the staff is very courteous and friendly. Completely worth the visit and very easy on the pocket as well.
