Great great experience @ taste of punjab!!. Its a buffet restaurant with chat counter, starters, live counters n finally the main course (veg n non veg). The starters both veg n non veg were really good. The staff were courteous, friendly n they guide u throughout. Excellent punjabi ambience n the icing on the cake was live bhagra dance with music n dhol by group of performers. These were for 5 to 10 mins at about regular 3 or 4 intervals. The entire crowd was dancing on the amazing dhol!. Great performance by each of the performers. Also they have complementary mehendi for girls (affordable charge if u want a different design). The mehendi was beautifully done. Children's were enjoying their heart out with many other fun activities out there. A perfect place for birthday celebrations, corporate parties, family nfrieends outing. Preferred for all age group. Its value for money n you will come out smiling. I just reduced a point because even though we were still there n had done a prior booking, our seating was given to some other customer who had arrived n we were asked to pay the bill. We did not expect this. It could hav been a misunderstanding, but had to leave earlier bec of this. Otherwise its a full 5 on 5. Must must visit!

Im a punjabi & when I heard Taste of Punjab has opened in Mumbai I was simply counting days to visit this restaurant about which I had heard so many praises . Yes I wore my best Punjabi dress here as I wanted to soak in the environment & match its enigmatic aura . Yes I had a mile long smile on my face as soon as I entered the restaurant which superseded my expectations in all respect . Every inch of this vibrantly colourful , loud , cheerful , royal , opulent & magical place gives a feel of Punjab . Lot of bling is used in the decor which makes you feel as if you have entered a Punjabi wedding . The interior decorator of Taste of Punjab please take a bow , you have done a marvellous job as I have not seen such a lively atmosphere in absolutely any restaurant of mumbai . You are in for lots of fun surprises as there is live Bhangra performance every 2 hours which is so crowd pulling & energetic that you will be forced to leave your seats & join in dancing them with the rest of the crowd . Also there is live Punjabi songs sung by ladies which is melodious & soul soothing . To add to the existing fun mehendi artists apply henna on the hands of the ladies which is simply unbelievable as it feels you are a guest in some Punjabi wedding function . The food is exceptional at another level as I do not know where to start praising from . When I started eating the paani puri here I just couldn't stop till my guest reminded me that there are many other dishes too . The water was spicy & chilled served in super crisp puris along with the filling .Full marks . The starters were served hot & fresh on the table consisting of tandoori mushrooms , paneer , cheese tikkas & achari aaloo .A tall glass of chaas was served which was super refreshing . I proceeded towards the buffet section & have to mention - Each & every item was par excellence beyond words ! I was left speechless , awestruck & amazed at the level of perfection in the authentic taste , aroma , fragrance & overall appeal & appearance of every single dish .The saag , kadi pakoras , chole , dal makhani were fragrant , rich , wholesome , fresh & bursting with flavours . They have mini statues depicting the rural life of punjab strategically placed below the buffet counter which is eye catching like a mini Punjab museum . A well stocked bar for those who want to enjoy their drinks which the superlative food . I dint have space in my tummy post the spectacular heavy lunch but still gave the dessert section a shot as it was uncontrollably inviting & tempting . The warm masala milk served in earthen glasses was generously loaded with dryfruits, I guess I must have drank atleast 5glasses . The phirni was fragrant with milk kevda essence was was simply out of the world . There was gulab jamun , rabri & jalebi too which I enjoyed to my hearts content . The rates of this restaurant is unbelievably economic & pocket friendly which will leave you shocked as its simply unrealistic & unheard of . Ideal for kittie parties , corporate parties , pre wedding function etc . This place is a MUST VISIT !

This place serve all you can eat menu at a fixed price. The ambience is bright and lively. They have given it a Punjab touch. There are live dhol in intervals and 3-4 people dressed in Punjabi attire come and dance along with them. The guests can also join them. The food is average. They serve starters on table and than there is buffet for main course. Overall a nice different experience.

After hearing alot from my friends I finally made a visit to this place for sunday lunch with a punjabi kudi. Situated on the 3 floor of a shopping complex having vallet option. Moment the lift opened at 3rd floor, I was taken back for I was in some different bright city all together with too soft lights and a colorful world. One step ahead and we were welcomed by the PRO who was dressed like a simple Punjabi girl other than the PRO that we usually see at such places. Place was loaded with food lovers at every corner, their serving team again dressed in classic Punjabi style. All of this already made a traditional and interesting impression about this place. Their multiple seating options again comforts all audience. Its a buffet concept here wherein the menu I believe is changed on everyday basis. They have special pricing for late night buffet. Lunch is made interesting specially for women by the ladies sangeet on stage where you'll also find some women dancing while the night is for live bhangda that I am yet to see. As for food they really have a wide variety of menu designed to make sure you struggle to get out of your chair post the meal. Before settling on the table, you would want to take a walk around this place and step by to the live pani puri counter for their pani puri is superb. It all starts with a big punjabi style steel glass of chaas which is not very thin and goes perfectly with your food. Dint like some of the starters here however fish koliwada, alu cheese balls bread rolls were nice. Variety of dosa options including butter chicken dosa. Good range of salads were present. Mains were impressive specially the biryani from khurana di biryani counter. After some break here you can manage to check the desserts load which has kulfi, garam doodh, jalebi rabdi, gulab jamun and dudhi halwa. Loved the garam doodh the most. Walking out of this was difficult with so much of lovely food and great time spent.

The vibrant colours, superb decor, Punjabi vibes, great music and delicious food.. It is a super spacious! They also have a private party area which can accommodate up to 70-75 people. They have buffet as well as A'la carte options. There is Bhangra in the evening time over Dinner, All day there is a mehendi girl who is super quick. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ The only drinks to have here are LASSI AND CHAAS! They are just fabulous! 👌 ◾Starters All the starters are served piping hot and tastes very good. 1) Cheese & Spinach sticks 2) Veg HaraBhara kebab 3) Tandoori Paneer Tikka 4) Tandoori Aloo 5) Stuffed Mushroom ◾Chat (This is hands down, best section! 👌) 1) Pani Puri (Highly recommended) 2) Dahi Puri 3) Sev Puri ◾PARATHA 👎 (Not Recommended) - need improvement on this front as the masala and salt were lacking in each and every type of paratha be it Aloo, Gobi, Mooli ◾Main Course It is a lavish spread of the following items. Piping hot, fresh and tasty! 1) Salad - Make your own 2) Sarso Da Saag 3) Veg Subz Handi 4) Malai Kofta 5) Punjabi Kadhi 6) Dal Tadka 7) Pulav 8) Steamed rice 9) Chole 10) Breads served on the table (Naan, Lacchha paratha, Kulcha, roti) ◾Desserts (Mixed opinion) 1) Jalebi Rabdi - This was very tasty, have it while it's hot 2) Gulab Jamun - pretty hard, not soft enough, need to be cooked well 3) Dudhi Halwa - Sort of lacked the punch of the dish Not as smooth and tasty as expected. Need to be cooked well. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ The staff is really attentive and food! the place is pretty warm and hospitable which makes you happy and tummy full! 😊

We decided to go to the Taste of Punjab in Bandra for a week day lunch. And we chose to have veg buffet. Ture to its name, the decor and the set up is very colourful with some shine and glitter. We started with having some chat. One could walk to the chat counter and enjoy your chat at the counter, as if enjoying street food. Or you can ask it to be served on your table. This was followed by starters which were served on the table. There was choice of 5 starters and it would be served unlimited. Same was for chass / lassi. The lunch buffet spread was limited but good. Different roti / paratha options were available and we're served fresh from the kitchen. The desert options were good. Indian desserts are anyway irresistible, and that's exactly what it was here. The staff was courteous. The service was good, but have been a bit faster. The ambience and music was good. Bollywood Punjabi music was playing in the background.

Think it was a bad day for us. 2 Functions very noisy. Food was ok but I will never visit again. Table we sat was so shabby n full of stain. Toilet was dirty. While booking ur table pls ask if there is any function, if yes then don't go as u will not be given preference. The price not worth it that's what we felt. There r many restaurants in Bandra u can enjoy much more for the price we paid.

Located in the heart of Bandra, TOP is your perfect idea for a fine dining experience and brings the delightful spirit of enjoying food to the fore. As the name suggests, the theme is Punjabi and the ambiance literally screams of Punjab in every way. TOP serves authentic Punjabi food with dollops of love! As you enter, the elegant ambiance intimidates you. Interiors here are a combination of plush and cosy and no one minds a boisterous group by their side. Music in the background is mostly Hindi/Punjabi. The buffet has lots of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available which is a paradise for food lovers. I started with the Shorba. It was so refreshing and aromatic that it was really hard to resist. For the starters we had - *Paneer tikka, *stuffed mushroom, *Chatpata aloo, *Veg kurkure tikki, *Potato nuggets, out of which paneer tikka and mushroom were my personal favorite. Put a piece of that succulent paneer and without effort it just literally melts in the mouth with every bite. With these dishes as rocking starters, could anything else get more exciting ? Yes. A whole lot of it in the veg and non-veg section and this eatery with finger-licking Punjabi food rocks with each presentation. The mocktails on the table kept the conversation flowing and you can safely presume that it was mostly revolving around the innovative flavors they have to offer. We had mango Tango and Tropical colada. Loved the colada. Mango Tango , however, was a miss. As the mocktails and starters proceed to mains, don't get caught in the 'what do we have' dilemma. Fix your mind on the *Rajma masala, *Paneer tikka masala, *Dal makkhani and the *Punjabi kadi . These were my favourite. However, *Sarso ka Saag, *Aloo bhindi, *Green peas pulav were really delicious too. *Aloo paratha and *Makke di roti were cooked really well too. There were other live counters of dosas and pani puri etc as well. We concluded our meal with *Gulab jamun, *Jalebi with rabdi, *Kulfi, *Mango phirni, *Gajar halwa. Our experience at TOP was absolutely worth relishing. OVERALL : F&B - 4.5/5 SERVICE - 4/5 AMBIENCE - 5/5 VFM - 4.5/5 Do visit - highly recommended. Bon Appetit :)

You must have had Punjabi food but I bet you wouldn't have experienced it. Visit Taste of Punjab, the authentic Punjabi themed restaurant with all the ambience, tradition, songs and what not! 🍽️🍽️ From getting a lassi as welcome drink to live paratha counters. From Tandoori Roti and Paneer to Makke di Roti and Sarso da Saag, they got you all covered. 🍽️🍽️ Once you enter the outlet, you will get completely enthralled by the ambience which is the zenith of Punjabi culture, tradition and weddings. They also have a artificial horse of the same size where you can get cool pictures. The lights are aethetically pleasant and the seats are all colorful and royal at the same time! With ample space to accommodate a "golgappe and chaat thela" and a jooti seller with mehendi artist in house, you cant ask for any better outlet with Punjabi feels. This outlet is totally family friendly and is worth for your money.

Awesome ambiance!!. The good is very good. It looks as though you have come to a fair. There are different counters in the restaurant. Pani puri counter is in the centre and the pani puri is good. Then there is a dosa stall, and the dosa is delicious. They have live bhangra. Children can climb a non living horse and click pictures. And the buffet is also very good.
