Pharoah,
is
a
one
of
it's
kind
Egyptian
theme
based
lounge
located
at
Chakala,
Andheri
East.
The
name
is
derived
from
an
ancient
Egyptian
king
and
the
decor
is
designed
around
the
same
theme.
Location:
Opp
Chakala
Gurudhwara
and
near
HDFC
Bank
ATM.
Ambiance:
The
decor
is
designed
well
around
the
theme.
Walls
are
tiled
with
a
nice
variety
of
Egyptian
carvings.
Both
high
chairs
and
sofas
are
available
for
seating.
One
more
good
part
is
the
demarcation
of
the
dance
floor
from
the
rest
of
the
seating.
So,
if
you
were
to
shake
some
moves
then
you
could
do
it
in
a
seperate
section,
while
the
rest
of
the
guests
could
still
enjoy
an
uninterrupted
pleasant
time.
Service:
It
was
on
a
Friday
night
when
we
went
for
dinner.
Despite
of
the
fact
that
the
place
was
nearly
full,
we
did
receive
a
good
service.
Probably,
the
staff
needs
to
get
a
brush
up
on
their
knowledge
about
drinks
and
the
food.
Also,
just
a
suggestion,
since
the
theme
is
very
unique,
it
would
be
a
thrilling
experience
for
the
guests,
if
the
staff
could
have
a
more
theme
based
attire
than
a
routine
black
one.
Mocktails:
Bartender
special
mocktail:
We
happen
to
try
2
variants
of
this,
as
we
were
informed
that
it
would
be
worth
trying
the
variation
that
the
bartender
brings
to
the
table.
a)The
first
one
was
served
in
a
tall
glass
and
was
a
mix
of
my
favorite
Blue
Curacao,
cranberry
juice,
lime
juice
and
Grenandine
syrup,
garnished
with
a
slices
of
lime,
fresh
mint
&
crushed
ice.
The
overall
taste
was
good,
but
I
felt
it
went
on
to
become
a
bit
too
sweet
while
I
was
half
down.
b)The
second
one
was
a
mix
of
Khus
Khus,
Soda,
Sprite,
Watermelon
juice
and
rock
salt,
garnished
with
lime
and
ice.
It
had
a
bit
of
sourness
through
the
lime,
but
was
well
balanced
with
the
sweetness
of
Khus
Khus.
This
one
would
be
worth
trying.
Food:
1)Cheese
Garlic
Bread:
The
garlic
breads
were
very
crispy
at
the
bottom
with
an
overload
of
cheese.
The
flavor
was
just
right
and
it
complimented
well
with
the
drinks.
2)Cottage
Cheese
Jalapenos
Cigars:
Cute
way
of
presenting
the
cigars
in
shot
glasses.
The
Schezwan
sauce
served
at
the
base
was
really
delicious
and
the
cigars
were
well
stuffed
with
the
right
mix
of
paneer,
jalapenos
and
spices.
This
would
be
one
of
the
apt
bar
snacks
to
try.
3)Paneer
Tikka(Starter):
A
well
presented
dish
served
with
salad
and
a
coriander-mint
chutney.
You
could
expect
about
6-7
medium
sized
chunks
of
paneer
along
with
tomato
and
capsicum
alternatively.
The
taste
was
good,
but
it
lacked
a
bit
of
marination.
Had
it
been
well
marinated
and
charred
a
little
longer,
it
would
have
tasted
much
better.
4)Veg
Kolhapuri:
A
medium
spicy
gravy
in
which
you
could
expect
exotic
veggies
such
as
Mushroom
and
baby
corn,
in
addition
to
the
routine
vegetables.
I
tried
this
with
a
crispy
Butter
Nan
and
it
tasted
good.
5)Overload
Chocolate
mud
with
Vanilla
Ice-cream:
After
hogging
onto
all
of
the
above,
I
was
still
left
with
some
space.
So
thought
of
ordering
the
only
available
dessert
on
the
menu.
2
scoops
of
vanilla
ice
cream
placed
on
a
bed
of
chocolate
cake,
topped
with
a
generous
amount
of
chocolate
syrup.
This
surely
is
a
good
way
to
end
your
meal
on
a
sweet
note.
The
management
should
surely
look
at
captisiling
the
uniqueness
of
the
theme
and
launch
newer
dishes
that
compliment
the
theme
more.
