The room was really nice, the staff in general was nice, however they had breakfast at the restaurant in the main lobby and the service was awful. It seemed that the staff was not at all interested in service. It was a buffet and there were a few instances where the food items placed there were missing spoons, when I requested spoons from the chef there by the counter, I was told to ask "that other person". During Covid times, this is a big red flag. There was another situation where I was told, go give this request to someone else. Come on guys, I am probably paying 5 times or even more for the food compared other places and I expect the differentiating factor to be service. I don't think I will ever visit another Leela location anywhere. You lost already 2 customers today.

Loved the luxurious stay and was treated very well. You will definitely feel the rich vibes here, the ambiance is awesome and has many fountains inside the hotel. And even soothing live music inside the hotel. It has 3 good restaurants. Enjoyed being there.

This is a very pleasant hotel in a brilliant location for it’s convenience to the airport. The selling point is clearly with the staff and personal level of service they provide. The whole hotel from the moment you walk in has a very homely and cosy vibe and for an extended stay it would be comfortable. My standard room was very spacious and certainly had all the facilities you would hope for. Both within the room and the communal areas though the hotel is starting to look a little dated, with sections getting worn and paint needing touching up. Obviously this doesn’t make it any less comfortable but does take the edge of the five star setting. Sleep quality was great though, with a very comfortable and large bed, no external noise, decent and quiet air-conditioning and a nice sized TV for the room. The lobby restaurant area is a nice spot to relax in with comfortable seating. The bar next door is much smaller but has some really friendly staff, and sat at the bar they’re happy to engage in conversation, offering recommendations for the area which is nice. Overall it’s a comfortable hotel which I keep returning to, and no doubt will again. However just don’t expect it to be at the height of luxury as the marketing material might suggest!

The hotel is located in the vicinity of the International Airport terminal, and a metro station is also nearby. Rooms are nice, but if you are near the elevator, then the rooms can be quite noisy. Service is good. Staff is courteous. Citrus, Restaurant is small but the food spread is quite nice.

We had booked 2 rooms for 3 nights at the Leela and it was an unforgettable experience! My sister and I had taken our aged parents to visit Mumbai for old times sake (they lived in Mumbai for 40+ years before relocating to the south). We were a little anxious how it would turn out since none of us had been to Mumbai in ages but we realized we made the right choice, as soon as we checked in at The Leela!! From the smooth checkin, the delicious food at Great Wall and Citrus and the SPECTACULAR HOSPITALITY by the staff, through out our stay, made this trip memorable. I was a little concerned that the hotel might be a little dated and not up to modern standards but those fears were soon laid to rest. The hotel is maintained meticulously and the decor is ageless. I am just amazed at the cleanliness and overall attention to detail. Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Leela. We hope to come back soon!

Finally, I managed to stay at THE LEELA! It never stops to excel and surprise with great ambience, serenity, calmness in middle of city’s hustle n bustle! Service as excited above all-customer is in true spirit Center of everything THE LEELA does! I am especially thankful to the staff for making my stay more comfortable by ensuring every little thing important to me at service in timely and most courteous way! The rooms are spacious and very well lit. And the amazing part is it has good amount of walking space unlike other hotels in the city. I strongly recommend this hotel to any valuable guest who aspire to have amazing experience in mumbai!

My experience staying with The Leela was fabulous. I got an upgrade to Suite room which was one of the best rooms I've seen in any hotel. Thanks Prathamesh for the upgrade. Dinner and breakfast was also good but there was a queue when I reached for the breakfast. (Maybe due to following COVID norms)

I like their staff at the gates who are very polite and soft spoken. The staff at the counter is not rood but not polite as well. I felt they are just doing their jobs. Which is OKAY how ever a smile goes a long. Just a suggestion. The rooms are very good the views are good enough. I like that all the bathrooms have TUBS, very impressed with this idea, keep it up. There is a beautiful pool but they have stopped it due to Covid which is a shame. The food is alright I likes it. How ever I feel its capable of improvement.

The place is nearest to the airport and the ambience is really amazing. It's a great property for stay with friend or family. However the hospitality and services needs to be improved. The staffs managing the cafeteria are rude and top-notch, i requested them to pack me some food at the cafeteria during luch time as i was running late ,the staff started to explain me on how i will be spoiling the taste of the sweet desserts if i pack and take it. I said that i haven't had anything and neither do I have any time left yet he saw me going empty stomach but had no courtesy to pack even a smallest thing as a cupcake or anything for that matter

Breakfast and lunch buffet at The Citrus has plenty choices. For an aging property, it is surprisingly well maintained. Does need some small upgrades in Spa area with age of doors and floor showing. Had been to this place to attend a wedding. The approach road to the hotel is not great because if there are 5-6 vehicles waiting to enter the premise then that will lead to traffic and continuous honking. But the moment you enter the premise it is quite and serene. Staff is courteous enough to cater to all your queries and guidance. The lobby is huge. You will not find a problem in parking your vehicle as the valet will take over from the entrance of the reception. If you're planning for buffet breakfast then you're in for a treat. Be sure to spend some time by walking around the premise.

Attended a business conference here after many years. The banquet was fine but the staff at the lunch was extremely rude - when asked for sliced onions, the reply was "it is not included in the buffet menu"! Unbelievable reply from a staff person at The Leela, once a benchmark of high standards of hospitality. Really shocked at this attitude. Although they brought it a few minutes later but the damage is done. The food menu was sparse and quality very poor, maybe the organizers didn't pay enough attention so it is not entirely the establishment's fault. Definitely not hosting any event here in future.

The breakfast food was mostly south Indian and it was delicious .I felt a lack of attention by the employees but not by the trainees in coffee restaurant. The trainee Ankit really gave a nice service to me. He was on the live counter still assisted me pretty well 10/10 for his management skills. The overall experience was good 👍.

I have stayed at Leela Mumbai three different times, spending over a month in total. This is a unique hotel in Mumbai with a lot of open space, which is rare in Mumbai. It is hard to find anything significant to complaint about. No place is perfect, and this place is a bit old now and there is a lot of traffic right outside. It is old but still charming, and traffic is bad everywhere in Mumbai. The staff is helpful and polite, the place is well-maintained, and the gym is nice. If you stay here, consider taking a walk in the evening, visit the gym and enjoy the double-head warm shower when you return to the room. Be careful when you walk as the taxi-wallahs drive too fast inside the gated dimly-lit hotel approach road.

Very nice room that smelled like mold. Had a hair in our food and the cook actually argued with us that it was corn husk - the zoom lense on my phone showed otherwise - gross. I will say they have an excellent concierge. Very expensive mini bar (over $200 on 3 small drinks and 2 snacks!?) Honestly I cannot in good faith recommend this hotel....

Excellent property, location is just 10 minutes from international airport, quiet, luxury, lavish buffet breakfast, superior rooms are pure luxury, services are excellent, meetings rooms are spacious and comfortable, quiet, guarantee for sound sleep, value for money. Leela Sahar is one of the very first luxury hotels in India some 30 years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 nights stay and not only return to it but also recommend toy top contacts should they wish to enquire, ofcourse.

Stay at The leela was, although brief, we experienced their hospitality, which was good. We had requested for early check-in and airport transfer, which was arranged swiftly, this aspect certainly deserves a pat, infact the call center based out of Gurgaon was good, the agent took all the details and confirmed shortly with the details. The food was awesome. The room was okay, but the carpet in the corridor certainly needed a change (level 5). The phones in the room need to be upgraded. When compared to ITC Chola, the phones in The leela reminded me of the early 90s. It was stinking. The entrance to the main lobby was grand, and the lobby bar was good. Overall, it was a decent stay as we wanted a place to crash for 7 hours for taking our connecting flight.

Had been to an event at Leela. Service was very good. The event management company had a bad attitude, which might not be from Leela. Just mentioned,in case they were part of Leela. The venue of the event was good, but required lot of maintenance. We could see the paints not proper and the rusting of metal coverings in many places. Hope Leela takes notice of this on a positive side.

This is basis stay over a weekend. Rooms are very good but the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet was disappointing. Leftovers from lunch buffet was a part of the dinner buffet and leftovers from the dinner buffet were a part of the breakfast the next day. Almost same salad bar in all three buffets, not sure if leftovers were even moved. Very disappointing for a hotel chain of this stature! Gymnasium and pool is clean and hygienic. The personal trainer gave proper guidance and trained well.

I've stayed in The Leela at Goa as well as Mumbai... While at Goa it really did feel like I was staying in a 5 star... At Mumbai, the rooms felt more of a 4star plus. This had everything to do with how it was maintained, especially the bathrooms. And I was excited about the food at Leela but realised its no longer commands superiority in that segment, even though the food was good.

Standards have certainly gone down . Room service is really bad. Moreover there is no coordination between central reservation and the hotel. Things need to improve at The Leela. There are much better hotels in Mumbai .

Looks very old, when customers inside room they are changing the door locking system with huge bang noise, no pickup and drop available properly, food was worst, quarantine box meal is very bad, housekeeping has to been improve alot. Consignee dept.must be enhance alot

Good place to stay right in the immediate vicinity of the airport. The Citrus restaurant in the hotel has good spread in its buffet platter. The South Indian food in the breakfast buffet was great. The taste of varities of chutneys and sambar will make south Indians feel at home in Mumbai.

This hotel makes ur life busy and complicated. Normal USB plug-in are missing next to bed. There is no available plug next to be bed for charging phone. You can’t order food from food delivery places. They will stop delivery person at a main gate and will ask u to walk there to get ur food. That walk is almost a mile long. Excuse they give is due to COVID. But then they hold big conferences without worrying about COVID. Good side is Room service staff is awesome. Sanjay and patil are the best.

The hotel was sparkling clean and well mannered. Rooms were little small but they managed to fit everything in without making it congested, bathroom's were spacious with bathtub and shower. All the staff seems professional and very helpful in nature. But, the problem i faced here was the power failure in my room and not just one but four times in a row which gave me a bad vibe about the hotel, couldn't get that peaceful sleep as there were pillow menu for the perfect nap but unfortunately didn't experience such thing and made me very disappointed. In the beginning I was so happy about the choice I made by coming to this hotel but regretted later on because everything else can be acceptable but power failure in a 5 Star hotel doesn't even fit. Hope someone take care of it and not end up again disappointing someone else. I wanted a perfect getaway but unfortunately it was a disappointment. Also, they provided in room breakfast(American and Continental)which I loved the most as everything in it was soo delicious that i would go back for the breakfast only 😅😋 Overall it was a good stay but could have been amazing. Thank you for the hospitality though.

It was an awesome experience. The staff are taking a lot of care and precautions, following all measures for us to have a safe and comfortable stay. Super courteous staff, each and evey one of them. Food was marvelous, lovely variety spread for all meals. Room was super clean and tidy. What more can one ask for?

The hotel is beautiful 😍 the staff of the hotel are very helpful, knowledgeable and gentle. Only the thing I don’t like are insects 🐜, when i woke up this morning I found some ants around the corner and a small fly. Please look after this issue. Thanks for housekeeping staff for helping me to clear all this .

Staying at the Leela Palace Mumbai was a part of my bucket list. Glad that I am able to tick it off. The Grandeur of the Place indeeds reminsce you of a Palace. Check in process was a slight short of pace. The room the ambience, the service was all top notch. Buffet spread at the Citrus was beyond what I could have asked for. It definitely had a handful of dishes a person would like. Overall a Good Experience. Looking forward to my next stay at Leela Palace Mumbai

I stayed here for 1 day with my family. Staff here was very courteous and helpful. Hats off to the hospitality Rooms were awesome, Food was good. Ambience here was amazing.

Very close to the airport. Spacious, amenity rich rooms, brilliant service & the conference rooms/halls on offer make it just the right place to host a small soirees and events. Their buffets are quite exceptional & easily one of best in Mumbai. They also have a reasonably well done pool if you'd fancy a dip. Parking isn't a problem as well as they have a valet service.

One of the best experience of royal stay😍 they surprised me with birthday pastry on my birthday. So sweet and kind staff. Smooth check in. The manager also gave free upgrade to the room, as it was my birthday. Yummiest breakfast with loads of food varieties. Leela just made my holiday a better one❤️

We stayed here for 2 nights during the weekends. Although the property was running at full occupancy the staff handled all the requests promptly. The ambience of the gallery and lobby is well maintained but the lower lobbies seem very outdated and need an upgrade The rooms were comfortable but nothing extraordinary. Addition of tubs in bathrooms are always great joy. The breakfast options are vast but the quality can definitely be improved upon.

Excellent service. You get room service without any delay. Pleasant experience without any hassle. I had a flight to catch next day. The location is very close to airport. Perfect hotel for a stay if you have a flight to catch.

All good, except food packets to room that also corona restrictions. Not bad one way.

It's a good hotel. I was quarantined here. House keeping, dining and front desk stuffs are very helpful.

They have maintained a retro kind of a look to the property which makes it elegant. Its a beautiful property located near the airport and touched to the metro station which makes it very convenient and connected to the rest of the city. Their hospitality is appreciable and they were serving with a smile.. my room upgrade to a suite was a cherry on top to the already good experience that i have had here. RECOMMENDED!

Overall pretty good service. I was pretty happy with my stay. Only complaint was the TV wasn't working.. had to make calls to get it fixed. Was bummed with the closed pool, but I understand the covid guidelines.

Our stay was very pleasant, and our happy moment was breakfast at Citrus. Siva has been super hospitable and always cheerful. We would be greeted with a warm smile (behind the mask) and our morning would have the much needed happy start. Thank you Siva We will be back and hope to see you again soon

I had the best times at the Leela Mumbai ♥️ The staff was so nice and well spoken they took care of me and my best friend well. I have always stayed and The Leela and never ever felt different ! Thank you so much for the best service.

This property used to be once one of the more premium hotels in andheri.. also the preferred hotel for people using the international terminus. They still have good buffets for lunch and dinner. Rooms are a little rundown over the years but is still good. Staff still isnt as polished as it used to be but i guess its due to the covid conditions that we are still recovering from.

Nice hotel .rooms are clean. Staying here for quarantine. South indian breakfast option should also be included in the menu and the preference asked.

Not a stay, but experience with Leela. I tried calling to find information about COVID related rooms. The operator connected me to the duty manager, who didn't answer and that was the end of it. I called a second time, she just put the hold music on and after a moment came on to say the duty managers line is bust, call later. I explained my query was urgent and I can't believe the Leela wouldn't have one person who can answer. She didn't say a word to acknowledge or empathise, connected me to same number again, no one answered. End of story. Utter unresponsive attitude for someone with an issue. If it was possible I would give it a zero star for this experience.

Wonderful Hotel! We had a great experience at this hotel. Staff, was always very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable . The choice of restaurants is also good but we normally eat the buffet at Citrus. It is superb. Excellent service too.

In between the city shore a place where you can find peace and serenity. A well experienced staff . Excellent housekeeping. Mouth watering foods and exclusive property to stay.
