The hotel has a different lobby which is the first thing you notice when you enter. The rooms are nice and the switches in my room were conventional which was convenient and comfortable, unlike modern touch panels which take time to understand and adjust. I had a wonderful view every evening of the sunset. 24/7 was a typical 5 star restaurant. A nice place to spend time with yourself or those with you is the poolside in the evenings, just outside the 24/7. I had a flawless experience with the service as well as the polite and courteous behaviour of the staff. Absolutely no negatives and hence no hesitation in recommending this hotel to potential patrons.

It’s sad to see The Lalit come down so poorly post pandemic.. Dirty water bottles, insects on bed cover, old non working refrigerator… People are good but occupancy is low which means limited options for dinner, no buffet at dinner time.. food quality was poor too.. and they have reduced the breakfast buffet spread as well.. very limited in-room dining option.. wifi was also slow. Two stars is for people and location. It’s now a legacy hotel at best!

Been there for a meeting only. Had buffet breakfast and lunch over there with a client. Taste & hospitality at it's best. As hotel carries suffix Maratha, interior is designed quite in that way only, provides you the best glimpse of the great Maratha architecture. As it's a five star hotel, obviously the rates are bit on the higher side, but if pocket allows, you'll not regret the luxurious stay over there. Overall it was a nice experience.

While the hotel is huge and the room sizes don't make it look like a Mumbai property, there is no denying that the structure is old and in need of a good renovation. The wear and tear is very much visible to the guest. That being said, the staff was extremely helpful and we have absolutely no complaints with them. The food could be slightly better. The grandeur of the hotel still stands though. You will enjoy your stay here, that's for sure.

How interior looks really pretty but the rooms are outdated. Stuff lack basic customer service. Greeting stuff in by the entrance are super nice and will go out of their way to help you unlike front desk stuff. I got to the hotel at 7am, my room was paid for, they didn’t check me in till 1145am. After I got my room, I found out that the shower had a issue. Took them 2 days to keep fixing and finally changed my room. Key card not always working in the elevator, when you call room service it takes more then 30mins to even get a clean towel. I had to request them every day to have my room cleaned as if I didn’t then they wouldn’t have cleaned it. Breakfast was average, nothing great. I stayed at this property for 10 days and was expecting more. They definitely need to work on things. Definitely won’t be staying there next time.

We stayed for New year's celebrations, 2 premium rooms both triple occupancy. First the bedsheets had BLOOD STAINS on it when we asked for a room change, they said they had no rooms available and changed the sheets, (which were also dirty). then we were provided only 1 glass in the room And when we asked for more glasses as we were 6 people, the staff was very very rude about it and said we have to pay extra because due to COVID protocols they won't provide more. But if you pay for the glasses they will provide, which is highly unethical. the breakfast was okay but I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. very disappointed.

Had one of the worst experiences. The room service was extremely unprofessional and the condition of the room was average. The effect of Covid I believe but still isn't acceptable for a hotel such as The Lalit. I left a review at the hotel reception. They said that they will put it forward.

We were given a room overlooking a wedding and we wanted to change and the team could not propose a satisfying solution. We ended up with an inferior room though we had a booking for a 1 bed apartment. The price difference was not refunded to us and neither was any compensatory attempts made through vouchers for the price difference that we had suggested. The rooms are very dated and not sound proofed.As a hotel next to an airport, having sound proofed rooms are key as you will get frequent travelers who value their rest and sleep. We were not informed there would be a wedding taking place either, otherwise we would've opted for another hotel. Will never return, which is a shame as we had loved our stay 5 years ago.

A great stay option near the Mumbai Airport for travellers needing a quick access to the city as well as the airport. Most of their rooms are spacious and the Atrium lobby with seven Stories of corridor spaces overlooking is a star feature. Check in desks are efficient and can manage large volume of people fairly well. A pretty busy property and the road outside can be fairly congested at all times. A lot more maintenance can be done along with modernization to their electronics.

It was my first visit to The Lalit and I was really impressed looking at the huge lobby they have. It is very close to the Airport making it easy and convenient to travel. Even though my stay was short but I really enjoyed the hospitality showed by staff members and the variety of food they offer with great taste.

Not a very good experience.. It started with our check-in, our luggage took ages to reach our room.. When we asked for the reason for the delay, they started blaming the reception, which was quite surprising.. Then we went for an Express lunch at Baluchi. The waiter immediately surprised us by saying that the express lunch will take long time.. It appeared that he didn't want any customer.. Tried the Blueberry millet muffin, again a total disappointment.. Blueberry just for namesake was a tiny one on the top.. Breakfast was good with lots of choices.. Staff were eager to serve and attend to your needs At the checkout again we had to wait as the staff didn't know how to remove the 10% Service Charges, charged for our restaurant bills. For all reader's information, the 10% service charge is an optional charge and depending on your satisfaction, we may agree to include the service charge. As we were quite disappointed, we prefer not to pay service charge.

Wow excellent rooms.This is the wonderful say. The room are very comfortable. I had a wonderful view of a sunset.the rooms are spacious and decent with a comfortable bathroom are clean and the nice place to spend time with family and friends and the staff behavior was good and polite. More over I will suggest that it is a really wonderful place for hangout.

So as we have just Checked Inn today. So the first impression of this hotel was really sad. Though the reception was still fine but when you come to the rooms. There door lock is not working, there wash room was smelling sick and then later we asked for something and it came literally after 45 minutes. Is this what we expect from Lalit? Really disappointed . Here for next 2 days lets see what happens but today it was really disappointing. Staff is also a little dumb as per my experience. No offence.

My first visit to Lalit. The lobby takes the cake. I do not need a room . I can sit and stare at the lobby and the gorgeous color combinations ..wonderful lighting styles and the Natural lighting domes on TOP. Vast expanse of the lobby and the exquisite lifts are a treat to watch. The rooms were equally good and luxurious. Adequate lighting and power points. Bed was wonderful. Tea choice was restricted to one which was not good. Washrooms were large and well lit. Wonderful stay.

They have got a luxurious lobby but not everything is beautiful inside the facade. Rooms had cigar stench & there is no air circulation, the balcony inside the room is locked & there is no way you can get fresh air inside the room. The toilet seat was old. Although i had opted double occupancy, the soap, dental kits were kept only for one person. Check out process was taking lpy of time !

We didn't get a chance to try the cafe - had come post dinner and didn't want to eat more, but given how good the place is, I am sure the food was great too!

The new year party review. The NYE party at lalit was absolute disaster. The crowd was out of control. The alcohol was advertised as unlimited but ended up even before 9pm. Had to fight to get hold of even 2 starters. Tasteless buffet meal with only 5 options. No crowd control with everyone smoking in non smoking areas. Pool party advertised and no one was allowed to go in the pool. Useless and waste of money for NYE. Highly recommend not to go here

Mainly staying in hotels around the western world this hotel may come as a shock to your system at first but if you can overcome that its not bad. Do try the restaurants they sell good food. If its views your after and you want to see the real India then your in the right place if you know what i mean. The yellow tap water is a bit suspect too!

The Lalit is a good hotel. Only issue was with Sales Manager Mr. Abhishek. He promised us airport pickup but when we reached airport he refused the pickup and stopped answering our calls. This type of service is not what we expected from such a brand. Pl. work on the ethics and don't let guests wait unattended at airport.

The visit was for a wedding reception. It is having a good pillar less party hall, for a wedding ceremony, reception, musical event (No Echo) perfect square designed most important is that food is really good, and this makes the event as a memorable one.

Staff over there is wonderful, humble and helping. I never found a single mistake in these 2 days of staycation.

They need new locks. They will give you magnetic cards which will not work in lifts or your doors. Once you get in room you will have to live with few electric points for charging. Breakfast is awesome

Great rooms and location, but that's about it. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Room service/housekeeping requests have to be made multiple times. The phone is regularly not answered, and even when it is, they don't know what has just been told to them or when an item would be received. With a room booked for 3 people, only 1 towel was provided even asking for 2 more on multiple occasions. Breakfast spread is okay, would advice you to stay away from the pancakes for your own benefit.

The food buffet is one of the best that is out there. The verity they serve is mind blowing. The live counters are just great. If you wish to enjoy a breakfast with food options from all over India plus Europe, you have to spurt some money and enjoy it.

Possibly the best stay, one will have around the airport. The food quality was excellent. The rooms and its cleanliness is something they keep at a higher priority. The only issue if I have to point out might be nearby the lobby. I felt there should be a person to guide people as a lot of visitors come by only for food. All in all definitely the place to stay nearby airport.

Very large hotel located close to the airport. I arrived at 5am and was very friendly welcomed. The room was very clean and spacious and equipped with everything you need for a stay. Unfortunately, I could not enjoy these amenities for long as I had to move on again around noon. But it was enough for a little sleep. The rich breakfast was very tasty and a good start to the day. So thumbs up 👍

I have stayed there as a quarantine guest. So my overall experience will not be as same as other guests. The room they alloted me was on the backside and I wasn't allowed to access buffet breakfast or dinner in this hotel. The food they are serving wasn't upto the mark. Quantity limited and quality also not as per their standards.

Beautiful place ...Awsome ambience ..Quite calm and serene reception. Just one thing which changed my dinner plan was they didn't had the disposal mask for guest so we couldn't stay back for food. Reception should atleast be courteous enough to have a mask which costs nothing.. Overall very good place been here many times .

Very few items very actually decent 3 out of 4... Starters were good... So for stay point of view hotel gets 4/5 stars... For food point of view hotel gets 2/5 stars...

Been here for quite a few times and I must say that it is well looked after with clean rooms and good staff,best part is the central open area which is nicely decorated and it is very close to airport so that u can avoid Mumbai traffic congestion.
