Truly a 5 star experience. Great rooms, great food, great service. Breakfast spread is impressive. Pancakes were excellent. Went there on a work trip, so couldn't enjoy the property much. Lagoon facing rooms with a balcony recommended for the best experience.

Excellent ambience, staff assistance and easy check in check outs. Comfortable rooms. View from the balcony is ecstatic. Proximity to the airport makes it super convenient( just 5 minutes). Breakfast layout is also great. Overall an outstanding experience..

We loved our stay at Sahara Star. It’s an amazing property, unlike anything you’ve seen before. The view from the Earth rooms is great. The hotel and rooms do feel a little dated, but that adds to the overall charm of the property. And the location is super convenient, being close to the airport and other prime areas of Mumbai.

had a fantastic stay at Aquarium Hotel. The room was impeccably clean, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The central location made it convenient to explore the city, and the value for money was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

We went for a wedding. The banquet hall is really big with good facilities in house. There's also a separate room which was used for dessert serving. It could seat around 600 people easily and is really beautiful

Amazingly stunning. Lovely and luxurious. Each section is designed meticulously. Had a lovely stay . Coffee shop was amazing and provides delicious food with extensive variety. The complimentary breakfast is awesome with varieties available. You can have a gala time inside the hotel premise only. And the live piano music was too good

Sahara Star's Street Foods of India Festival has taken the whole city by storm. I recently attended this fest at The Earth Plate and couldn't get enough of the hospitality provided by the staff, a variety of delicacies at live counters created for different Indian states, besides having regular- prepared food counters and salads. Indoor seating is ample but the outdoor seating provides a different vibe, owing to the twinkling lights sprinkled around you, soothing fragrance of the barbeque blending with the chilly monsoon breeze. Moving back to the unlimited and fascinating dishes, they also had a huge variety of Indian and international desserts, grabbing a lot of attention from the people arriving. Overall, one should attend not only for a luscious meal, but for a luxurious experience also.

Staying at the Hotel was like stepping into a world of luxury. They had all sorts of cool stuff like great food options and really nice things to do. But what made it awesome was how nice everyone was. The people who worked there were super friendly and made sure everything was perfect. If you want a fancy place with amazing service, Aquarium Hotel Sahara Star is the place to go.

Nothing can be said that would match the experience. Great ambience, We took the offer from Sahara for one night stay including the breakfast and it was worth it. Kids enjoyed the Hotel. The pond and water body is super duper cool. A must visit when there are offers. Try full package including all meals it should be worth it..

The entrance is glamorous with heart warming welcome. Proper security measures are followed at the gateway. The lobby was breath taking with its Beautiful ceiling design. We were alloted coral banquet for our function which was spacious and dining tables were set systematically. Decor was quite presentable and it was a sooting ambience. The staff was quite helpful and served us well. The food was tasty especially the starters which were served throughout the function. Tea snacks were also served as ours was an evening function.

It’s a fine hotel but not worth the money paid. Also please never use the spa. They are a bunch of money greedy amateurs. They promised me a steam treatment and did not provide because someone else apparently was using the steam room during our slot. This is like going to check in to a hotel and not getting a room you reserved because there’s someone else who didn’t vacate the room meant for you. They expected me to still pay the full amount for the treatment even though they didn’t deliver what I expected and clarified before starting the treatment. I’m pretty sure they accepted money to “extend” the other guest’s steam room time but they’re not saying it. Also the woman at the front desk flat out lied to my face that she didn’t say the steam room was included in the treatment. It’s optional apparently and free. They might as well say the massage is free and we are paying only to enter their premises and see their faces. 😂 This bad experience spoiled my whole stay at this hotel and I decided not to continue to stay here for my vacation.

This hotel is fast eroding it's magnanimity. Once a bright angel which has now fallen. Interiors and architecture has been phenomenal at it's age and now shedding it all rapidly due to poor maintenance. Rooms are good to stay but feels claustrophobic due to lack of air circulation inside. Room lightning system through remote is confusing and sometimes doesn't work. Hope it can revive it's lost glory soon.!

Attended an office event here, It is an amazing venue, at the center of city and right in front of airport so easily accessible. Food was good, arrangement was excellent. Event hall is very nice and sound system of good quality. Staff is polite and helpful. Overall experience was smooth. Recommended.

Went here for 2 days to relax nice clean rooms the interior was good very relaxing environment. Our kettle was not working, we had ordered room service there was hair in tea so we complained but we ignored the issue. Later we went for dinner buffet which was nice and the dessert were very good and very beautiful. In breakfast buffet I againg found a hair in my veggies so i complained the chef he immediately responded to it but this is not what I expect from a 5 star hotel as food quality matters and seeing hair twice in my meal I was not keen on having food at all. They gave us complementary chocolate box for the complain which was good but Being a 5 star hotel I expect quality worth my money spend.. Hope the quality improves.!

The hotel is in a great spot, easy to reach by any transportation. The reception was friendly and efficient, taking care of everything quickly. The rooms are comfy and peaceful, with clean and warm beds for instant relaxation. The room service is attentive, addressing our needs promptly, even if there's a slight delay they informed us about.

Oh my God! Such a beautiful place! I never in my life thought that there would exist a place with so much space in Mumbai! It is a huge property with a lot of services provided. The only problem was the no food clause. As a tourist, you would like to eat food from around the places especially Mumbai, but limiting this makes it difficult to get good in to enjoy a night cap. At times I also found a lot of hotel concierges a little busy with their own personal work than to tend to the guests. But the staff for the room and corridor are more than courteous and helpful to make up for them.

Hotel Sahara Star is unique hotel. Even my 6 years old son pointed out that while all Hotels have a view outside, this Hotel has a view inside which is fully built by them. It's truly an exceptional Hotel and completely urban - don't go if u want sea or the mountains.

At a fraction of a cost of Trident, this hotel property is great. Great views. Nice ambience. Comfortable Mattress and Beddings. Nice gym and a great variety of cuisine options like Mediterranean, Eastern, Indian etc. Nice swimming pool and great views inside the hotel. Facility of storing luggage is there. The property is near to the airport Terminal 1 and quite huge and is well maintained.

One of the best 5 Star Hotels in Mumbai near Mumbai International Airport. They have great rooms, good service, delicious food and great views. They also have one of the finest banquets for very large gatherings.

I attended a reception at Sahara star recently and thought of sharing my views! 1. There's a good security level as u enter the main gate. 2. Staff will guide you well. 3. Elevators present. 4. The entrance is huge & amazing 5. Car packing facility is available. 6. Auto pick up & drop available at the gate . I visited the Sapphire banquet 1. It's quite spacious 2. Seperate washroom fr men & women available 3. Hotel management was good. 4. Staff was polite and friendly. 5. A huge array of dishes were served 6. Veg and non veg dishes both were amazing. Different cuisines were present & I liked them all. I asked for wifi password as I had some urgent work but finally had to use y mobile net only. I guess the staff forgot about my request. Overall I had great experience!

Very bad room condition was. Beds are too small. No cleanliness. You have to ask them to get things fixed after getting rooms. Also i told my mom who is a senior citizen to give me a room near the lift as they have only 1 lift in the entire hotel. but still they felt it convenient to torcher us! Not happy at all

  • 4/5 NIKHIL P. 10 months ago on Google
The property and amenities are awesome. Buffets are excellent here. Check in was somewhat annoying as it took over half an hour. The hotel building is quite big but elevators are only at one point. Depending on the location of the room, you may have to take a long walk through the lobby to reach the elevators. In fact lobbies are so stretched that the room service is almost always delayed. Though the staff is very polite.

  • 5/5 Sudheer T. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent location, it's just 5 min walk from Terminal 1, Chatrapathi Sivaji airport. Service is decent, and breakfast spread is really nice. The structure of the hotel is really beautiful and resembles the old Sahara logo. But, due to this structured shape, the rooms feel little cramped. If you are ok with a slightly lesser size of room, this is a perfect play to stay for business trip.

  • 4/5 Babba M. 11 months ago on Google
Nicely maintained good hotel walkable from T1 terminal of Mumbai airport. Rooms are nicely anointed and spacious, bathroom is large. Great staff and service. They have a very nice garden and waterbodies right at the center of the hotel beneath a glass dome.

Has stayed here for a day. Property is huge and well maintained. Breakfast is relishing. Areas to click pictures are just so real. There is a forest like area with real bushes and trees, stones with small lake side like view. People come here for first night, conferences, weddings, etc. Inside the room there is a balcony and jacuzzi. Near to airport, is a good pick!

The hotel has turned old but has yet not lost its charm !! The ambience, food, location everything is great. Only negative point is it's staff which needs to be more courteous and respectful towards customers. Very rude staff specially at the cafe and restaurant where breakfast is served.

  • 3/5 Arindam S. 1 year ago on Google
It's a hotel for mid level politicians and upcoming goons to plan their next fiendish scheme. Seamlessly tacky. I hope my business meet amounts to something! Even the valet at the entrance is effortlessly un-courteous. Not discourteous, but the lack of it. And the rest follows.

Entering the space felt like stepping into a luxurious oasis. The lobby was well-lit, featuring comfortable sofas that invited you to relax. The staff were welcoming and efficient, making the check-in process easy. Our room was roomy and beautifully decorated, complete with a balcony that offered a fantastic view. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the blackout curtains ensured a peaceful night's sleep.

Firstly the hotel is stunning- no doubting that. That is probably where the good ends. My experience was spoilt right from check-in. I wish I could remember his name, but the person at the desk was terribly rude. He seemed to have an attitude and was quite disrespectful to my parents. People like him should not be working in the hospitality industry. The other staff members were friendly and helpful, but this man destroyed my experience to such an extent, I could not enjoy my stay thereafter. As far as functionality of the hotel- each floor has roughly 120 rooms- with a single elevator. So god forbid you're assigned to rooms 60- you have to walk endlessly for a lift. Personally I suspect the rude guy at check in purposely assigned us the rooms farthest away for inconvenience. Anyway- if you're staying here, remember to get rooms close to 1-20, or 100-120.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Aquarium Hotel Sahara Star, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the unique ambiance that sets this hotel apart. The rooms were not just comfortable but also elegantly designed, seamlessly blending modern luxury with a touch of marine-inspired aesthetics. The staff at Aquarium Hotel Sahara Star deserve special commendation for their warm hospitality and attention to detail. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was seamless, offering personalized service that added to the overall sense of luxury.

We definitely had a great time in your hotel. The whole place was spic and span, very courteous staff, and the garden area is well maintained. It looked like heaven on earth. Although the Mumbai traffic and the city was one of the worst we ever experienced but we definitely would come back to Sahara Star the next time if we ever are in Mumbai again.

This isn't a 5 star hotel, it is very nice and the people are lovely and accommodating, but it's lacking the finishing touches that make it truly great. The guest relations manager was very nice, when we brought issues to her, she listened and said she'll will raise them. Issues like; The shower head was broken on the first night - once reported it was fixed The spa treatment room wasn't ready for us after being shown in, the therapist had to leave for some time before the treatments started The pool area has no clear signage that the fountains didn't start till 12noon. Early communication when checking in would have helped. Construction work being held behind the pool area, workers were looking on to my partner and I sunbathing, some tall trees would help to create privacy and reduce the noise from the road. The dining areas can be confusing, some planters and up lighting would create a better atmosphere and immerse yourself into the restaurant. Having raised these issues and a few more l, we felt this would reflect on the final price but wasn't, we paid 5 star prices and were underwhelmed by the experience. It was a nice experience, and now I can say I stayed here.

  • 2/5 Madhavi V. 8 months ago on Google
The staff is very rude. The rooms are not up to the mark. The toilet has a bath tub n inside the bath tub there is a shower. It was so uncomfortable. There was a plumbing issue and when raised the concern, they didn't change the room nor did they fix the issue on top of that they lied to the customer saying they were advised to do an alternative. The food that is served for breakfast is horrible. Idly, poori all are so hard, which is not acceptable for the price that they charge.

  • 5/5 Zufeshan F. 3 months ago on Google New
The hotel provided a positive overall experience with its convenient location, clean and spacious accommodations, and friendly staff. The on-site facilities, including a well-maintained pleasant stay. The dining options offered delicious food, though pricing was slightly on the higher side. Despite minor issues, the attentive staff swiftly addressed concerns, contributing to a satisfying stay. I would recommend this hotel to fellow travelers seeking a comfortable and well-rounded experience.

A once spectacular hotel that still retains most of the effect. The place is in need of refurbishment but it's in a great location for the airport. There is a lot of open space and water inside so there are a number of mosquitoes around.

Total waste of money.. rooms in bad condition, no maintenance.. you will have to get your own luggage while checkout because no one will come to get it even after repeated calls.. sauna broken.. steam bath attendant too busy sitting rather than attending guests even after calling.. total waste of money.. you will get lot better services somewhere else at that exorbitant price.. staffs very poorly trained.. always ready to back answer and argue.. :-(

It's a wonderful hotel. The staff is helpful. They followed all covid protocol. The food is awesome. Huge variety to choose from both veg and nonveg. However, due to covid some of the areas were closed like the swimming pool, the Lagoon restaurant, and a couple of others. Kids may find it less interesting as there are no activities in the hotel.

Spend my birthday weekend at Sahara for 2 nights. Was a good experience, relaxing & peaceful away from citi noise. Excellent service by staff members, starting from security, reception, house keeping n restraunt very helpful n polite. Only disappoint was lounge & spa was shut, Initially during booking was told it's operational but we do understand covid policies, not hotels fault. Breakfast was good, limited food options for in room service. Overall great place, comfy rooms.

We took the sky view rooms in 6th floor, the rooms were great, natural light is enough in the bedroom area if the weather is good, the interiors are amazing specially where we had our breakfast, where you can view the entire hotel area. 4 star because the housekeeping was not upto the mark,it felt a little dusty and damp even though the sunlight was directly upon us. Otherwise it was a good experience.

It's a star hotel known for its unique design. Now a dyas you can even get some good deals out there for stay if you want to. Frequented by mostly travellers most of which are corporate. The rooms are spacious and with good amenities with a unique gallery that shows the Earth Plate lounge. It can be both a boon or an hinderance depending on the situation. Since you may feel invasion of privacy. The ambience is surely one to enjoy.

Great hotel right next to the airport. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel building is deeply impressing and the staff helpful. Word of warning. Portions at the Namak restaurant are absurdly big so don't over order as the food is not cheap. Also the chai in reception is not good value for money at 300rs Overall happy with our stay

Found this place absolutely dull. There is lot of improvement required right from the cleanliness of washrooms until the quality of food. This hotel is only known for it’s prime locality and name. I wouldn’t recommend anyone this hotel. It’s totally waste, food is not properly cooked and not sure but some of the items I opted also found them stale. Sorry, I don’t like giving negative reviews, but it was very annoying to visit this place. Air conditioner were working great only in lobby area, rest of the hotel Air conditioners were for name sake. Please avoid this place.

Beautiful place, but man, they didn’t let us play our own music at a private function in a secluded banquet room! Mind you, we were trying to play a little jazz for a mature crowd on a small Bluetooth speaker, not party hard style music on a massive boom box. The explanation was that a “license” was needed. If true, I think that’s misunderstood. No one needs a license to play music at their own party. Sure, if it was a DJ or if we asked the hotel to provide the music as part of the package. Doesn’t matter if you’re a westerner like me or native Indian like my extended family, everyone wants music at a party. Just fix it…

This hotel is the definition of a boutique hotel. The lobby views are amazing. Its like nothing you may have seen at Bombay. Especially for our Indian public, the staff will greet you in Hindi first (though they do know English) which is something I can appreciate. The Business Centre is really good. MR. RAJESH manages it well. F&B might take a little time. So try to plan it. And the Valet takes a long time to bring back your car... so it may be a good idea to hand in your ticket ten minutes in advance.

We went for a Christian wedding, the food was really good according to the culture even though I wasn't expecting it. The deserts were few but was awesome. Best part is the Wedding reception area had a separate entrance and separate valets so no endless waiting for your vehicle, like other hotels. Great sound and dj too (not sure from hotels side or guests side). All in all , had a very nice and pleasant evening.

This should have been a 5 star when it’s built but with the current situation it is 4-star for sure. Special attraction I feel is the entrance looby, balcony views of every room, and the ground floor restaurant. Food is amazing in the restaurant, everything we tried was too good. If the maintenance is great, this hotel will jump up to 5 star very soon. Lover the vision on which it is built. Felt like, living in a shopping mall for sometime.

The hotel and the location is good. The center garden in the hotel is amazing. That was the highlight of our stay. Very well maintained and well curated garden. However, we wanted to sit in the garden area for lunch but couldn't because the area is not air-conditioned and it is hot in Mumbai for the most months. The rooms are spacious and has everything that you typically expect. The disappointing part was, the shower mixer in our bathroom was broken. It sprayed water everywhere when we tried to use it. They fixed the shower once we called them but I expect them to check such things before the rooms are handed over to the guests. Breakfast buffet is nice and the staff is very helpful too. No real concerns there. Last but not the least, they have small plastic water bottles everywhere. They must be generating tens of thousands of plastic waste everyday. I urge the management to lead the way to fight the plastic pollution and come up with a plan to eliminate plastic bottles from the hotel.

Simply love the hotel, they have a service, an experience, and most importantly a feeling compared to non other, they a class apart. I love the food, ambiance in all the restaurants other than that, you can call it a second home not house as home is where the heart is. I would ask everyone to experience the Sahara feel. All the best for the future and I'm glad to be a part of you'll. The Sahara Parivaar

As overall experience it was a very good place to stay in for 2-3days, as the ambience was very beautiful and the lagoon view is completely amazing. But we are not satisfied from the service and food over there. Both these things were seems as like of 3 star hotels not as of 5 star.

The hotel is good ambience-wise. But not so service wise. Reception is slow to respond and more so forget to call you back. Rooms look good but the air inside feels suffocating. The passages to the rooms are very dull and a stench in the air which suffocates. Food is nothing special.. Usual menu same as one would find at other similar hotels. Overall an okayish budget 5 star.
