It was a wonder. Such a classy hotel with cosy room which makes you feel at home. It's really reasonable compared to the posh locality.

NEVER VISTS. Alert: Lung attack due to hotel!!! I stayed at Gordon House in August 2022. I had serious breathing trouble due to the lack of ventilation, which we asked to rectify on Day 1. After two nights, with coughing and breathing difficulty we walked out on health and safety ground. We had booked for three and PAID but checked out that morning. NO REFUND. NO SYMPATHY. THEY WANT TO OFFER US A USELESS CREDIT NOTE TO MAKE ME SUFFER AGAIN.

Great location, lovely staff. The room size is good but the showers' is not...the plastic curtains are a put off. All stir fry restaurant is quite enjoyable too; be aware that their portion sizes are large!

Perfect location on colaba causeway and they have valet parking otherwise it would be a nightmare to bring your car along on that busy street. Rooms were clean and adequately equipped to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good. Overall, highly recommended if you want a budget stay close to gateway of India

I had a nice time at the Gordon House Hotel. Rooms were very clean, and the food was great. They have a nice restaurant downstairs, with a variety of food. Staff were very kind and helpful all the time. If you are looking for a place in the colaba market area, the Gordon House Hotel is a great option.

We arrived at Gordon House Hotel a day later than our actual arrival date, owing to a terribly delayed and frustrating travel. On mentioning this to the staff, there was zero empathy shown by the staff at the reception. More over we requested for our complimentary breakfast that we missed be compensated by another meal, let alone on trying to see if this was doable - we were outright told that this is not possible as the breakfast is not free. The room is just about okay, with torn decor and quite unclean curtains and linen. The only likable aspect is the location of this hotel, it's situated between Cafe Mondegar and Bademiyan. Colaba causeway and Taj are barely 5 minutes walking distance. The staff at the reception must go through the much required customer service and hospitality training.

We picked this quaint boutique hotel located in the heart of South Bombay in Colaba for a short stay.A stone's throwaway to regal, national gallery of modern art gateway of India. The rooms are spacious and well maintained.The staff were polite and helpful. All stir fry the in-house dining place is worth a visit though the complimentary breakfast buffet lacked variety. Our only gripe was the long wait to check in since the rooms were unavailable and they were waiting for other guests to checkout which clearly the staff could have anticipated. We got ourselves a good deal from Agoda and overall would rate our experience as pleasant and satisfying.

Located at the heart of Colaba ,Gordon House is a perfect Cosy weekend getaway destination,the rooms give you a homely feeling with its ordinary luxury statement.The wok menu was lipsmacking and the salad was equally appetizing . Thanks to Prathamesh for being the best host.

It's a hidden gem in Colaba. Extremely impressive location. It's my must stay spot in south Bombay. Excellent staff and delicious food, All stir fry is a must do. (The unlimited bowl)

Well maintained and very efficient staff. The stay was comfortable. The breakfast buffet isn't very elaborate but it's good. Check in and check out time is fixed so make sure you do it on time. It isn't a very big hotel but it's near and clean and the best thing is the location! Right near the Gateway of India, Taj Mahal hotel is walking distance, it's next to Colaba causeway market, Leopold cafe is approximately 200 meters from it and it has a lot of good eateries nearby like Bade Miyan and Delhi Darbar to name a few ! Very near to Marine drive. If you're a tourist in the city this is the best location to stay and catch all the sights!

Visited just for the restaurant ' All Stir Fry'..the food never disappoints be it the menu or the unlimited wok. Service is fast, polite and friendly. Do make sure to book a table. A definite visit again.

Very nice place, clean. My room had zero view but it was very quiet which was great. Great value. They even have a bathrobe which I’d not expect for a midrange place. Great location to gate of india, Taj Mahal and street shopping. If you face taxis just tell them Regal Cinema and the hotel is right behind; otherwise some of the one way streets may confuse drivers.

Been here so many time. Loves the place and the ambiance. These boutique rooms are a oasis in the Mumbai noise. Breakfast is awesome and the service is always top class.

Great stay with very accommodative staff. It is very close to the iconic Taj and Gateway of India. Parking is an issue but their staff manages it well. There was maintenance activity going on in hotel (wet paints on walls) - hence, it was little tricky to navigate through the rooms and with constant smell of paints. However, it was a good overall experience!

Great location, walking distance from the gateway, Taj hotel, colaba market, some great restaurants, and art galleries. Our rooms were super comfortable, and the ac was effective. The facilities were clean and swanky. We asked for laundry to be done and it was finished quicker than expected. The breakfast was delicious, and had a variety of options, including made to order options. Highly recommended.
