Has to be most ill managed property I have ever stayed at. There is always a wait to check in or check out which can take up ONE HOUR. The service is barely acceptable. Getting anything done in this hotel is a pain and I am pretty sure this hotel can never measure up to being a 5 star property. It’s a 3 star property with a nice view at best. Can’t see why one would pay to be stay here. The food’s dry and the buffet small. They always overbook and mess with the type of room you want. Booked for sea view? We already booked it for someone else. Twin room? No, we actually gave it away at our own will.

My wife and I decided to stay this hotel as on paper it sounds amazing. A five star hotel located next to Juhu beach, what a luxury! Unfortunately, this was far from the truth. Let me break the stay in 3 categories: 1) Room 1/5 Was not very clean, smelled bad, the carpet was stained and had sand in it. The thermostat did not work and after we called the front desk, the maintenance personnel could not get it to work either. We had to ask for a fan as the room was getting too hot. 2) Food (Room Service - 2/5, Buffet 3/5) The room service items are extremely overpriced and the quality of food is mediocre at best. It also takes a really long time for the food to come. The breakfast buffet is much better and well managed but has a limited selection. 3) Staff 4.5/5 I read a lot of reviews here about the staff being rude and not co-operative but that was not the case for us. The staff was the highlight of our stay. They were caring, understanding and genuinely interested in making our stay better. Overall Opinion: This hotel comes across as a 3 star hotel with a 5 star hotel price tag. Other 5 start hotels in Mumbai have really set the bar high and after staying in most of them, staying here feels like a downgrade. The location of the hotel really makes it stand out from the rest but the disappointing stay will leave you questioning the decision especially since you are paying a lot of money for it. We won't be returning in the future.

Worst. Just worst, not even a 1 star rated hotel service. Worst staff posted at the front office and room service . They don't know how to treat a guest. I ordered a tea at about 9.30 am and nothing came till it was 10.30. Called up room service and no one answered. Called front desk and they again connected to room service.. No answer.. Finally no tea before going out for work. Same repeated in the evening.. After going to front desk personally they could arrange a tea.. And now my quest to get them take away the empty cup.. They never picked up anything even after repeated reminders.. Wash basin was not draining.. They always said someone is going to repair it in 10 min and nothing happened till I checked out. Thermostat doesn't work for air conditioner. I had to pull out the key card to switch it off.. I asked for a feed back form.. they don't have a policy to give feed back form. I asked them to email me my hotel bill.. Did not receive any sofar. In a nutshell, my college hostel was far better.

Rooms are good but as it is next to the ocean the carpets always have dirt on them even if you yourself have not gone to the ocean. Service is slow and the staff is not very helpful. The location is excellent, you are practically on the beach. Food can be better.

This review is solely from the dining perspective in “The Square”, Novotel’s buffet dining. This is my first time at the The Square Mumbai, and as the square has its legacy, it has kept up with the amazing food, the variety is fabulous, eat responsibly (without wasting), and your lunch is heavenly. The team went all out with the variety in the menu, ensuring you have a positive experience in terms of checking on you if the food is up to the mark, and even going out of their way. This is one of the best hotels around Juhu. I stayed there with my wife during Christmas and it's really amazing. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. In-room dining options are also good. The restaurant is really good too and has a vast variety of options. The hotel is huge and right besides Juhu beach, the view is amazing and you can go for a walk to the beach anytime as it's just connected to the beach. It's in a nice location in the heart of the city. A great choice and worth it.

The Square Coffee Shop has a reasonable buffet spread for lunch on Sunday. Large raised central Square seating area with a few tables outside the square. Had live music at lunchtime. The spicy pineapple and dates salad and grilled pear and walnut salad were very tasty. Green pesto sauce pasta was very well made and tasty. The only drawback is service. Once their attention is drawn thereafter service was good

The staff, consistently friendly and alert, was quick to offer their assistance, making sure that every need was attended to promptly and professionally. Their warm smiles and ready help made the stay all the more pleasant. The location of the hotel was another significant advantage. Nestled conveniently close to local attractions and well-connected to public transportation, it proved to be an ideal base for city exploration. Dining at the hotel restaurant was an absolute delight. The food was not just delicious but diverse, offering an array of options that catered to a variety of palates. Experience update (see below) I spent the weekend here with my family and found the property to be in good shape in general. Rooms are decently sized and hygienic...The outdoor pool area is also inviting but could do with some deck chairs and better seating. The beach view beyond the pool area is excellent. Dinner at the Square was alright - service was absolutely terrible. They were severely understaffed. The morning breakfast was a better experience but there too, short on staff. On the whole it was a memorable experience but the hotel could do with revamping its restaurant and even room service. P.S: Post the poor dining experience during my stay, I was invited back for a complimentary lunch for two and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves during a lovely Sunday brunch. The service was up to the mark, the ambience was lovely (live karaoke band of two), pretty good food variety & a smashing dessert section....Would love to go back some time soon...

Wonderful location. Most of the rooms are sea facing. Room size is decent but there is no latch from inside to lock the bathroom door in any of the rooms. So if you are planning to share the room, please take care of this. Basic rooms are provided with very basic items - bed, tea-chairs, TV, Fridge etc. There are five restaurant, the basic one is at the ground floor. There is a bar serving drinks in pool side area. There are a few areas where they have to improvise. Staffs are more busy in ensuring that guests do not sit in small deck-areas (generally being used for parties) even if they are vacant. There is a swimming pool having two sections - kids section with depth of about 1 to 1 1/2 feet and adults section with the depth of 4 feet. However, one needs to be very careful while sending their kids in the pool because life-guards are not that vigilant. Another limitation is the seating space - seating space in the pool area is very limited. Overall good hotel because of its sea-facing rooms.

I have been there for a night and my experience was wonderful. I liked the property. It's well maintained. Rooms are clean and modern. Housekeeping staff was courteous enough to complete our requirements. I shall visit soon once again.

About 20 minutes from the airport, this was a great place to stay and relax. We are a family of four so we got two rooms, and requested an adjoining door. We traveled from the US to stay in Mumbai and visit relatives. It was nice to get to the hotel quickly after the exhausting travel. We chose ocean view rooms and had the breakfast buffet. We swam in the pool and enjoyed sitting on the pool patio at night with family, listening to the waves on the beach. More pool patio seating would be great.

The stay was flawless with an amazing ocean view from the Room! The breakfast spread was elaborate and perfectly curated. Amazing to see the senior chefs personally ensuring all live counter requests are delivered super quick amidst a really busy breakfast.. Very impressed!

The Hotel is located at a very good spot with a scenic view of the Arabian Sea and walking distance from Juhu Beach. There are multiple places to go in 2 km radius, definitely place to stay for vacation. The Hotel needs to work on the timing for at room services. Needed to wait long and send reminder calls at room service to get basic stuff like cutlery and plates.

One of the best hotels in Mumbai where I chose to stay as it was also near the beach. You will get satisfaction from staying here. Overall a very nice place at a good location. The lifts however are a little faulty. The card readers don’t work very efficiently. The showers are very sensitive for hot and cold. The gym can be improved to have more equipment given the amount they charge.

I attended a Family Beach Wedding ceremony in December and it was a beautiful experience of a Beach Wedding in Mumbai.... Delicious Food and awesome Beach Decor for the Wedding and the Pool was adding an extra effect during all the celebrations 🏝️🌷

It's quite jaded. Needs a major over hauling. Guess, it's a wedding oriented property. Mainly guests staying during the wedding hosted below at the pool side.

Lack of staff. Needs renovation. Rooms are too basic. The breakfast room is completely cramped, and breakfast is far below the same category hotels. An overall feeling of carelessness. From one side location is good (by the beach with restaurants, bars, cafeterias on the surroundings), but from the other and for business purpose far from everything, so no recommendable for business purpose

I recently stayed at the Novotel hotel in Juhu and unfortunately had a rather disappointing experience. While the rooms were satisfactory, the food was both overpriced and lacked taste and presentation. A particularly underwhelming moment was when I ordered coffee, only to receive what seemed like machine-made coffee for a whopping 1112 rupees. I can’t say I enjoyed much about my stay at this hotel, except for the spa, which I must commend for its excellent service. Overall, I wouldn’t highly recommend this hotel, primarily due to the food and pricing issues.

I booked this hotel due to its proximity to my family event. While the location is simply EXCELLENT, the same cannot be said about the rooms. Dirty carpets, poor ventilation are the two main characteristics of the rooms. I must compliment the service staff as they were very cooperative whether it was helping with wheel chair or supplying water bottles when asked. The biggest disappointment came from the front desk. I had booked two rooms for 7 nights, but released one room after the 4th night. Now, I understand that in “direct payment” value booking, there is no refund or adjustment. I was told that as a goodwill gesture, they will take one night off the final invoice. I accepted it graciously. This was followed by a couple of phone calls the next day to confirm if I have truly checked out of that room. However, at the time of final check out from the 2nd room, I was invoiced fully for 14 nights (2X7). Upon reminding them of the 1 night off, the front staff asked me who did I talk to, who was the manager etc and that they can’t do anything since all adjustments are to be made prior to check-in. I reminded them that it was the hotel’s offer to take the one night off and I didn’t see the name tag on the colleague who was manning the front desk. Back-and-forth pursued for a few minutes. At the end, I realized that since the so-called “offer” of one night deduction didn’t reflect on the hote records, there’s nothing that the front staff at that moment could do, unless I insist on asking them to check for the staff roster and the manager on duty for that specific day. Now, this experience itself is not so bad. Coming on top of below-par rooms, just made it more harrowing. I have decided that I will probably never again visit this hotel despite its good room service and proximity to the beach. Never again!

Very excellent experience on swimming lots of fun with my college. Good hospitality by swimming guard during swimming time. Location & views near beach is good during sunset. We stay 3 nights and enjoy all days in sunset .

We as a family are big fans of their lazy Sunday brunch. Great job with the food and kids activities. A dip in the pool followed by a hearty lunch is a great way to spend the first half of your Sunday.

One of the best location in Mumbai! Overall experience is good though didn't like the service and specially the breakfast! Breakfast and service is very slow and have to wait a lot for single dishes otherwise a nice room and locations and premium feel

Stayed for one night, room was standard size with great lighting, comfortable bed and pillows, clean bathroom with toiletries included which was nice. Concerige service was extremely helpful and took care of a personal matters. Definitely family friendly, keeps everyone entertained in the lobby. Beautiful decor around the hotel as well. Even offered to pack our breakfast since we were leaving earlier in the morning.

The view from the hotel is so soothing. Had one of the events at the Hotel and liked the options available with them. The Juhu beach is adjoining to the hotel which is an added benefit.

One of the best in class five star hotel in Mumbai, you can feel the ambience and hospitality once you enter the hotel lobby. Everything was neat and clean, the staff was very empathetic and welcoming, with all the hygiene protocols followed. helpless service when i m with my all family approx 30+ rooms occupied we are in family function with my family when i checked in 10:30pm my room air conditioner i put to 19c but air conditioner not going down 24 very suffocating i also complain about that 12:15am but in room still now 1:26am some one guy technician service air conditioner in my room i also going down personally for complain this problem but management teach me like i m foooooolll also i ask for room key, manager told that our machines not working for duplicate key its software problem never came this hotel like only NOVOTEL name but feel like OYO hotels room MR. TEJAL HUNDAL (MANAGER FRONT OFFICE) told me wait for :30 minutes & also guide me like i am staying hotels at 1st time in my life so at 1:36am with my family 10years old my child should wait at 2:00am for working ac or not? i think i pay rent for check air conditioner working ya not.

Luxurious and good property with sea facing rooms

It was a refreshing experience visiting Novotel Juhu for leisure amidst lockdown. Had a great time. Their sea facing restaurant Gada Da Vida has a very beautiful view with comfort seating. Their rooms were neat and clean with all necessary amenities.

Rooms are very clean and neat, breakfast food is excellent. Staff is well trained and we enjoyed our stay. Hotel is pet friendly and the chefs take good care of the pets and their diets.

The hotel is situated right at the beach, I stayed there for 5 nights! Everything was very well managed, the food is amazing and so is the staff! The post covid precautions are in order and it's a good property of you're looking to stay near the beach!

Good space, nice ambience! Liked the food, yes! Reaching 500 m radius was alright, getting closer to the venue from there took a good 30/35 minutes as the roads are pretty narrow!

This has by far been the best pancake I ate in some time. I recommend a visit to this place for food splurge. The breakfast spread is wide and the lunch is exclusive too. I have definitely gained a few kilos in just two days, guilty! Come visit Novotel for brunch. You won’t be disappointed 🙈

An absolutely amazing place to spend time with your beloved family and friends. I went to this place with absolutely zero clue that I'll be proposed here for marriage. The weather, the view and ambience added the cherry on that moment. The staff is polite , humble and respectful. They clicked our pictures while we were creating one of the best memories of our life.

Though the entrance is not impressive but the hotel has a good sea view.food is excellent.there were a lot variety in the menu.but I found the place very crowded as few marriage functions were going on.lobby area seems like a railway station.dinning was also full of marriage party except of few.restrooms are pathetic.basic cleaning was absent.people were hardly wear mask including employees.wonder how could the hotel authority being so irresponsible during this COVID era.i guess this is a five star hotel but except of the bill everything seems very average.

Situated at Juhu beach with a very good view of Arabian Sea. Rooms nearer to sea with good view from the window are charged more. At a walkable distance from Juhu chowpatty. Food quality and taste are very good. Breakfast buffet spread has many options. Room service is very good. Food and beverages are very expensive which is expected from this branded Hotel chain. Due to its location and view, shootings happen here very often. If you are there at the right time, you can have a first hand experience of shoot from your room window.

Novotel Had been here for a friend's wedding. The venue is really grand. The halls are spacious and really well arranged. The staff are humble and very quick on their toes. Great venue for large scale functions. The food was also decent, although can be made better in many ways. Overall good experience.

The best beach hotel out there! It was a great experience. I had some issues with the food initially. They called me once they saw my negative review on Google and made changes as per my expectations. Got me another meal which was fantastic. So the pro tip would be to describe your expectations at the time of placing the order. Besides food, it’s an amazing place to be at. Enjoy the beach view!

I stayed here many times under quarantine policy of ONGC, service and food quality are worst. Even they provide rooms after waiting of more than 1 hr. Pathetic response from such big name hotel.

Restaurant service was third class. The breakfast buffet has very less items compared to other 5 star hotels and the food was also mediocre. Reception staffs were not giving apologetic answers towards a lady whose phone charger they lost. The staffs need proper re-training. A thumbs down from me. Will never stay again in future trips to Mumbai.

Not at all value for money. Even though room was pretty good, but customer handling wasn’t that well. Not allowed to play music in room, people come down at 5 star to relax & chill not to sleep in rooms. If you put such restrictions definitely no one would revisit your property. Better I would visit Taj & Marriott cheaper then Novotel & better facilities with less restrictions.

Went there for a conference. The location and the room were great, offering sea view. The rooms were clean. However, I did not enjoy the food offered during the lunch and dinner. The breakfast spread was much better.

Room weren't as spacious as other hotels I've visited within the same price range. Had high expectations with the buffet breakfast but wasn't even close to what other players in the industries have to offer. I feel like there's still more work and effort that needs to be put in to be on par with the rest and rise above it.

I had my daughter’s wedding arranged at poolside in 1st week of April 2022. Venue was awesome and the decorator had enhanced its beauty with beautiful Mandapam. Regret starts from here. Food and service was absolute C grade and no where to be satisfactory as per sample food tasting done earlier. For every little comfort they were asking for more payment. They earned a lot but lost substantial goodwill. I will never recommend wedding at their venue if catering is provided by them. Many finer points must be cleared before hand.

My all time favorite. They always have an awesome breakfas,lunch, dinner buffet sprea. Covid has decreased the number of options but yet it's great and its beach view.. Definitely a win win.

Loved the food at Square. Quiet a good spread of dishes. North Indian, Chinese, South Indian, Italian, etc it was all there and it was fabulous. The live music duo added tremendously to liven the energy of the place. ALL IN ALL, I HAD A GREAT TIME.

Went there for a friend's wedding. The ambience is great, with the hotel straddling the Arabian Sea and a private entrance to the beach for residents. The restaurant 'Sampan' I believe is the name has a marvelous cusine. This time being Christmas, the lobby, foyer and passageways are thoughtfully decorated. Overall we had a wonderful evening.

Hi Guy, A Beautiful place for wedding. Ambience is very beautiful i went for wedding photography. But there is issue with hotel staff and management team. They treat us very bad. Hotel and restaurant staff is not good. Only clients and guests are important for them. People come for work is also humans. We all are humans. Your hotel and your hotel staff have to treat all people same. Catering manager said host told me to close food counter. And other side their staff having lunch. Hotel have to change your policy. And treat all people as humans.

We have come here for our anniversary staycation. The rooms are good, good views if you take the ocean view room. The rooms are okayish in terms of space. Food is good. Should come here at least once to experience beach life with such proximity.

The entire experience at Novotel is understated elegance with good food, multiple options and a beautiful property. The beach side patio and swimming pool area is a stress buster to relax after a long busy day. Various cuisines available and would recommend the cocktails and mocktail specifically.
