It's just near the Marine drive, from some rooms the view is of the stadium. The rooms were big and clean. The breakfast as usual is an spread with various options. For dining, restaurant Flavours had good menu, the service was good and cheerful. Appreciated the staff

Lovely place with an unmistakable old-world charm. Small staircases, wooden railings, and vintage feel. Just felt that the attendants were a bit judgemental because we were making some noise during breakfast. Well, if you did not want to disturb the other guests, u could have served us in one of ur banquet halls instead. When 40+ college mates gather for their 25th reunion, some noise is expected, is it not?! Food was decent too. Loved the fish and tartar sauce starters! Our room was spacious and nice but with no view! The revolving restaurant was closed, which has been an integral part of the hotel for so long.

Mixed bag.. Excellent front office personnel, good food and an amazing location for an early morning walk across the beach.. But few employees need to be more responsible - one of these guys broke our suitcase and was unapologetic about the same. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

Ambience: When i step in, it feels like a little taj Mahal palace, mumbai. It's welcoming with beautiful flowers and the interior feels like an old palace of Mumbai. Beautiful fragrance and lovely ambience. If you are looking for a beautiful old interior to cherish old luxurious life then it's the best choice. Staff / service: staff are very welcoming. They are so humble and polite in nature. Every time you leave or go inside the hotel they will wish you a beautiful smile, no matter how their mood is. I remember when i left, my friend needed pampas from their bunch of flowers. One staff member helped her to get that with a big smile and said " your smile is important for us". That really touched my heart. Checkin / check out process : we came an hour early. Still without hesitation they provide us room. The checkin process took hardly 5 min and the checkout process took 1min. No paperwork nothing. All is digital. Seamless process. Rooms: About the room, the room is spacious with all amenities. Storage is also huge you can keep your bags and belongings inside those drawers. The table and chair are also there if someone wants to work. And the best part is you can operate lights, fan and AC in a single click which is kept next to your bed. Water bottles and RO water is enough for a day so no need to purchase it extra. The bath tub is great. Everything was working. We really had a great time. Food - we had a complimentary breakfast. Varieties of options they have from continental to Indian. Juices, milkshakes, dosa, idli were my personal favourites. They can make a dosa and eggs according to your choice.. Overall experience is great. Highly recommended to everyone.

The hotel has nothing to offer except the location. The exorbitant price they charge is only and only for the location which is near to marine drive. Rooms are not even close to 4 star hotel. If you want a stay which is walking distance from marine drive, the only consider otherwise do not waste your money on this. Break fast : Below average. Service : Very Good.

Staff is courteous. Internet speed is fine. Breakfast is ok. The location is great! Room service is expensive. I ordered tea in the room for my guest for which they charged $350 per cup which is outrageous!

Pathetic and arrogant people elected as staff members. I had an instance where I needed to use the washroom if the hotel but the door man or attendant at the door didn't even let me enter the premises and was rudely arguing on the law. Also tried to abuse. Name is Sanjay Kadam, I would request the hotel to take a action against the person for the situation which could have handled in certain ways. This behavior definitely not accepted by a hotel which is in the main area and hold a brand value. I urge to take action against him and train other staff for same. Everyone should be treated in same manner whether its your guest or any person.

Hotel situated at Marine drive near to Churchgate Station and Wankhede stadium. CSTM railway station, Girgaon choupati and Gateway of India is within 1.2 to 2km radius from the hotel. Rooms are good not great but neat and clean. Variety of breakfast is good not great. Overall good hotel but bit costly.

Staff were super polite and friendly especially the lovely housekeeping lady who gave me a selection of beautiful colored bracelets to keep when we checked out. Breakfast was good and the location is excellent. Would definitely stay there again!

The staff were very pleasant, and I can not fault the hotel in that respect. Location wise it's also very good, as it is by Marine Drive and there are plenty of places to eat and walk around, or watch cricket. However, like many old 60/70's style hotels in Asia they are very tired and in terms of comfort very basic. The smell of stale smoke is pretty much engrained n the rooms, and left for a very unpleasant experience. I tend to avoid these types of hotels in general, as they are not for me, and this was booked through work at last minute, so I did not choose . If you enjoy the classic 60's/70's style hotels then this is probably ideal, but certainly not a place I would use again.

The rooms are spacious and the view is also good. Their hospitality is commendable. Food taste is also preferred by kids and other family members. Their menu selection is also large to choose from. Overall a family place to visit and enjoy..

Staff is kind and helpful. The rooms are nicely done and very comfortable to stay in. The sleep quality was excellent. Overall the experience was brilliant and enjoyed or weekend gateway a lot. I will definitely stay there again.

Rooms are antique. Service available only until the 4th floor. Remaining floors are under maintenance. No swimming pool and the rotating restaurant is not operational. Food is good and the dinner buffet price is reasonable.

Breakfast preparation needs improvement. The spread was good. On the whole a good hotel. The rooms don't have separate shower enclosures they still have a bathtub. Time for change

Disappointing to say the least. The high charges are for location, which is great. But there aren't much amenities. No infra/pool, small shabby old rooms, and above average buffet. It's probably good for business stays. Definately not for vacation.

All services are good.need to check water leakage @ water tub @ 217 . 2 lights are not working . these are my observation during my stay @ 22nd to 24th dec . Service of Mr.Dhiraj is very nice ,approaching style is very ethical ..... Overall it's a memory of staying @ Ambassador . But not able to enjoy the moving dying @ terrace ....

Had an amazing experiance at the Hotel. Room Service, Housekeeping and Reception staff is really good. Hotel offered an extra hours for check-out at no extra cost. Felt really amazing with this Hospitality and Gesture. Little upset with the Food Taste in compare to the price- I advise to add more food options in the Room Service Menu as it has very limited options available there.

We had booked the honeymoon suite which was just unbelievable! It was a duplex room with a sofa and tv downstairs and upstairs was the king side bed which was amazing since the entire duplex had a ceiling to floor window overlooking the Wankhede stadium !

Excellent stay at Marine Drive! If you're looking for a good hotel with good food and good location then The Ambassador hotel it is! It has the best service, the staff is so warm and supportive. Special mention to the Managers who did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. The overall experience was A+ not to forget its location that makes it all the way more favorable for a stay in Mumbai. Marine drive is at walking distance and the Central Mumbai 5-8 mins via taxi. Definitely our go-to place whenever we're traveling to Mumbai! Go for it! Thank you.

Old world charm with lots of wood. Good staff. Well maintained interiors. Air conditioner's thermostat does not work. If you pack for Mumbai weather, be ready to catch a cold. The airconditioner is always on and dips to 19-20 C. Not a room specific issue but heard from 3 other guests who stay in Jan 2023. The technician will come and try to fix/tell you it is fixed to 24 C but it never worked. In the evening, there is no hot water in the shower. Guest service will tell you to run the tap for a few minutes and then the hot water will flow. You waste a bath's worth of water and still it is no good. I got an ugly brick wall of the next building as the view from my room two times when I stayed in Jan 2023 Had a dead cockroach in the bath in the last day of the stay.
