Worst food in our life, we specifically metioned for low spicy/ low masala food, but received Kepsa with full masala.. High salty taste, not able to eat, two of us vomited, others have abdominal discomfort. If you eat from this Mao restaurant continuously for 2 weeks, you can reach heaven due to Cancer or a bit early due to diarrhea and vomiting.

The room was fine but the room smelled very bad because of the carpet in the room. The bathroom is very small and there is water pouring from the shower over the bathtub. AC also didn't work properly. Room service was great except that everything else was average. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of items. Overall it's an average hotel. (Don't go with the high ratings because there's a 50/50 chance that you'll get a bad/good room, so why take such a high risk and ruined your vacation? So if you're planning to stay here better look for somewhere else.

Our overall experience was good. Rooms are good but a very small in size. The only complain is the man on the reception during the morning hours like 10 am was extremely rude and manners less. Check-in time was 2:00 p.m. but we arrived at 10:00 a.m. and we requested him to provide a room a little before but the way he answered and literally shouted disappointed me. Running such big hotel and keeping so mannersless staff decreases the rating of the hotel.

I recently stayed at The Sahil Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff who made me feel welcome. The check-in process was smooth, and the room exceeded my expectations. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. The amenities provided were top-notch, including luxurious toiletries and a comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The hotel's dining options were outstanding, offering a wide range of delicious dishes to choose from. The staff went above and beyond to cater to my needs, and their professionalism and friendliness were commendable. The location of the hotel was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation. Overall, my stay at The Sahil Hotel was nothing short of perfection, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable hotel experience.

I'm visited this hotel for some company party, location is great, near railway station so transportation is easy. Benquet hall is good for business metting. And food is also good, but some time there is issue in taste mean every food had very less salt . They also not provide additional salt. Other wise hall is good and atmosphere also good

    - Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpfull. - The gym is very small, but has the essentials. - The breakfast buffet was decent, with enough variety. The room to eat the buffet is a bit small, and you might need to share the table with other guests.

This place is so good and staff is very friendly and welcoming. Food was good and hospitality was equally awesome. It is very near to central railway station. I checked in late night and though dinner hours were over yet staff called up to check if I ate already and they actually served food to few of my team members even late night.

Stayed here for one day during a recent official trip to Mumbai. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The check-in and check-out process went very smoothly and reception executives was nice. I could not review the food as had to leave early morning but they were constantly insisting to have a cup of coffee atleast. Very nice staying experience after a long time in Mumbai

Close to Bombay center Railway Station, surrounding view from hotel is not so good, so is from room. Went for a wedding reception of a friends wedding at 8th floor. Hall is fit for 100 people to max 120 not more than that. Had buffet lunch, food is not that good.

The place is decent from outside. The rooms had a perennial smoking smell in the room. The reception people and the waiter in the restaurant where arrogant. A bit judgemental.. Me and my colleague was put up in the hotel as a part of our conference visit to Mumbai. The waiter outright said, i can't order from the menu since you are sponsored by the company and your package doesn't include these food. When i offered to pay for the food, he called his manager, and he reported the same story. Similarly on the way out, the reception manager did a similar thing. Me and my colleague felt that they looked at us and kind of discriminated. The typical videos we see in YouTube and Facebook, where the business is very judgemental of the customer, about his looks, clothes and paying capacity. Never expected something like this will happen to us. Overall, despite of the nice trip to Mumbai, this hotel experience was a thorn in the rose. I have taken up with the company which sponsored our stay there. I am never coming to this hotel again. I have seen and stayed in very mediocre hotels across the country, this hotel doesn't get 1 star for its facilities, it gets poor ratings for the kind of attitude the staffs have towards the company sponsored guests ...kindly change it, of be ready to lose your valuable customers. Update to the review. I revised the rating to four, mainly due to the prompt response from the management , as well as, for not giving the usual copy paste reply. As far as the problem has been identified and taken care of, in this case the communication issue, I think, there is no point in focusing on the past.. Let's move on.. Best wishes.

Stayed there for 2 nights during an official visit. Located in central Mumbai, in a crowded surrounding. Small hotel with smaller rooms with dirty flooring. The bed, lighting and air-conditioning were ok. The sofa was again not a clean one. Dirty upholstery. Small place for buffet breakfast and dinner with limited menu. The staff was cordial and helpful.

The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I had a very pleasant stay at this secured hotel which is walkable distance from Mumbai Central. The staff helped me end to end from check-in to check-out and booking a cab to the international terminal. Thanks!

Standard rooms are really really small so we got the suite. The suite was very expensive for the low standard but hotel is clean, staff is very friendly and accommodating. Location is excellent due so it’s closeness to central Mumbai

This hotel was amazing, the staff and service was incredible in all areas, the food was great quality. Laxman one of the customer service staff went over and above with his work and care, he made sure all of our needs were met wholeheartedly and had such a genuine approach… all the way from pressing the lift button for us while he was doing other tasks.

The ambience and the staff are great, the food is good enough considering the price tag, the starters were probably the best the Goan fish curry could've used a bit more spice to make it complete the biriyani was wholesome just what you'd expect of a good biriyani, the shorba was one of the better one's you'd find in the city at any fine dining place

Great service and staff. Gave me an early check-in. The room was cozy clean just like I wanted. Quick service. The food was also great. I didn't feel the need to order from outside, although buffet breakfast was not included in my stay.

Pretty good hotel, rooms are small, concierge and security staff are lovely. Bit silly that they charge per person for a room when you're only 2 adults and a child and that is the max for the room...

This is a reasonably priced hotel, located in South Mumbai. It's near the iconic Bombay Central Railway Station. As per Indian standards and the price it is a fairly good hotel. The staff is quite good and helpful at most times. The food caters to the Indian palate and may not be suitable for those who are not comfortable with masalas. The rooms are ok not too good but like I mentioned earlier. Value for Money.

The experience was really great much closer to the one with Trident, except the food was really great too that wasn't in Trident. Rooms are great and so is the welcome. Good Tip: For the Dine-in experience you can prefer 'Bluet' and 'Rivaaz' with Zomato Gold Dining and Eazy Diner Dine-in Respectively, You will save a lot of bucks :) Happy Staying!! πŸ˜ƒ

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Sahil Hotel in Mumbai Central for a one-day trip with my family, where we booked three rooms for three different families. Our main purpose for visiting Mumbai was to seek the divine blessings of Lalbaug Ganpati, and our stay at The Sahil Hotel added an extra layer of delight to our experience. Our check-in process began around 1:30 PM, and although it took a bit of time for room allocation due to the necessary ID verification and check-in formalities, the wait was well worth it. As evening approached, we decided to explore the hotel's dining options and settled for the unlimited buffet they offered. One of the standout features of this buffet was that it included both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options at the same price. The starters were particularly mouthwatering. During our meal, we had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Girish, a talented 20-year-old chef working at the hotel. His ambition and dedication were truly inspiring. We couldn't resist trying his creations, which included Broccoli Almond Soup and street food favorites like Pani Puri and Shev Puri. Each dish was a burst of flavors and left us wanting more. The quality of the rooms and the overall service provided by the staff were excellent. It was evident that The Sahil Hotel prided itself on maintaining high standards for its guests, and we certainly felt well taken care of throughout our stay. The following morning, we were treated to a hearty breakfast spread that catered to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. The menu included items like Idli, Sambhar, Dosa, Khaman, Gota Bhaji, Cookies, Chocos, Pastries, Bread, Butter, and more. It was a delightful start to our day. I must also commend Ms. Foram, the Customer Relationship Executive, who went above and beyond to make our stay even more pleasant. She was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. In a particularly sweet gesture, even after the breakfast counter had closed, she arranged a parcel of Chocos for my daughter, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Ms. Foram took the time to note down our feedback and concerns, ensuring that any issues were addressed promptly. Her dedication to guest satisfaction was truly commendable. In summary, our stay at The Sahil Hotel in Mumbai Central was an unforgettable experience. The combination of delicious food, excellent room quality, and top-notch service made it a fantastic choice for our visit to Mumbai. I wholeheartedly recommend The Sahil Hotel to anyone planning to stay in Mumbai, and I look forward to returning here on my future visits to the city. Thank you, Sahil Hotel, for making our trip so memorable!

The breakfast spread was also quite elaborate. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a nice comfortable stay with good breakfast. Special mention to mr.sahil who was very courteous and kind from the minute i stepped into the hotel.

Not as good as it should be as per the 4 stars, Receptionist is not good at all as they did not paid attention to pre mentioned requirements like even we already ask them of non smoking room they initially provided a room filled with choking smoke smell all over, but they changed it as soon we demand for immediate room change. Most people were seems to be focused on servicing for some Arab outsiders like others guests are staying free at there. But you can stay there for a day as rooms are good as compare to other 90 percent hotels nearby.

I would say this is more a 3* than 4* hotel. Rooms are just a bit shabby round the edges - dirty carpet, wonky blinds, marks on the furniture. Nice clean bathroom though and lovey shower. Unfortunately there were building works going on which we were not made aware of until we check-in. Breakfast is OK but the dining area is small and busy. Not much in the immediate location but easy to get to places of interest from here by taxi.

Foolishly designed room reservations systems and processes: They'll quote an 'X' figure online (discounted rack rate) and when called to check they'll claim that the actual rack rate was never what is listed there and hence they can't even fulfill the same discount as shown online but will manipulate and camouflage it into an amount higher than the offered online discount (despite removing and deselecting each and every allied services clubbed into the room price). Apart from the above fiasco, there's ZERO COORDINATION AND ABSOLUTELY EVIDENT HOSTILITY between the reservations and sales/marketing teams. The reservations manager sits in a tiny little awkward desk on the right of the front desk. He'll quote a third figure that way above anything heard, mentioned, or read so far for the same room rate. On giving the reference of a confirmed quoted price by Rahul from Sales, the reservations manager will act as if he's unaware and totally unrelated to the Sales team and their confirmations. He explicitly stated that the Reservations department does not follow what the Sales team commits, and that he's not responsible nor would he obey and fulfill the confirmations provided by the latter - leaving me in a complete lurch whilst checking in.

It is a decent hotel to stay and chose it due to nearness of office. Room was well maintained everyday. However, buffet is tricky as 50% of the buffet is repeated everyday. Option Range should have been increased.

The best budget friendly luxurious stay at jumping distance from central.. rooms are cozy and compacted with all technologically advanced amenities.. breakfast represent the Mumbai only..try to occupy room on top two floors for typical Mumbai City view.. service is considerably faster.. hospitality is at peak.

Rooms and service were good. Very near to Masjid railway station hence traveling to other places is easier. Good for the visitors. Only challenge is there is no lift, carrying big luggage through staircase will be a challenge.

Mostly all LIONS Clubs in our district 3232 A1 in Mumbai use the excellent facilities provided by HOTEL SAHIL. Conveniently situated in heart of city, it boasts of spacious banquet halls with capacities ranging from 50 pax to 150 or more. Reasonably priced. Serves Jain, veg and non veg fares. Highly recommended.

Good breakfast, courteous service, clean room and toilet. Remote operation of all electrical equipment from a single console near the bed. However, one of our requests to guide us on use of TV was not responded in time. Bathroom basin is clogged but not currently completely out of order, we could use it. Location is in the middle of unclean area.

Had expected alot more having stayed regularly at other four star hotels all over India. My experience at The Sahil Hotel was very bad in many ways. 1 - Hotel was over crowded with guests but under staffed which led to poor service at reception, breakfast area, house keeping, laundry 2 - Reception staff seemed over worked and weren't very welcoming unlike their 4 star competitors who always welcomed with a smile, attended to your needs, were eager to help out, it was like staying in an ordinary 2 or 3 star hotel. 3 - Several times room service orders were sent wrongly or with mistakes. Items sent into laundry were missing when it was returned such as buttons. Ordered food in the morning for 2 consecutive days were not charged, the same food was charged on the 3rd day which was part of breakfast menu and was delivered 45 minutes late, and you guessed it right, it was not what we ordered. 4 - the night staff at the reception seemed less bothered on the night we checked out. The only reason there is 1 star in my review is because the bellboy service was good and all the staff at Bell service did a great job attending to us. 5 - The breakfast everyday was very boring and almost the same menu every day. The competitors came up with a theme each day. Also you have more than 80 rooms approximately but a breakfast seating area for max 20 people, it's always full. 6 - When banquet event happens in the hotel, the guests barely can use the lift as its always stuck on either ground or 8th floor, sounds like not a big deal, but is very frustrating. Sorry for the long review but we booked a long stay and paid quite a sum of money for a very poor service, which is disappointing. Our stay in India was very nice, thanks to the 2 other four star hotels who accommodated us beautifully.

Well renovated, rooms are too small. Service can be better. A decent 3 star hotel compared to other hotels in the locality. Very near by to Mumbai Central Station. (East)

Hotel was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good. Everything was he hassle free. Only complaint I have is there were 2 single mattress on a double bed which created gap in the middle. This very uncomfortable to sleep.
