Pathetic experience. I'm at the hotel since last night, and have booked a stay for 3 days, unfortunately. The hotel is old, smelling of mould. Most of the lobby lights are not working, so you have to switch on your cellphone torch as soon as you step out of the lift. They called this morning to ask whether we want veg or non veg for breakfast. Apparently, the only menu options are banana, bread butter and alu paratha in veg and boiled eggs in non-veg 😂😂 Since I am conducting a training today, and am a vegetarian, didn't want to eat heavy stuff, so asked them to send 3 bananas between me and my roommate. And they are like,"We only give one banana per person." I conduct trainings at different cities all across the country every week, and have stayed at hotels everywhere, and this is my WORST experience by far. I also have the next two days of training event here itself. I'm really dreading what the participants are going to say about such a place 😭😭😭😭

I recently stayed at Hotel Karl Residency, and my experience was quite pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located in a bustling part of town, making it easy to access various attractions and restaurants. Cleanliness: The room was immaculate, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job maintaining cleanliness throughout my stay. Service: The staff at Hotel Karl Residency were friendly and accommodating. They promptly addressed any inquiries or requests I had, which enhanced my overall experience.

The location is nice and peaceful. Hotel looks grand from the outside and from inside there are some works going on during the time of our visit. Outside food is not allowed in the hotel but in the hotel itself we have a restaurant and food provided is good, tasty and affordable. Free parking is available

The Hotel is nearby the Andheri station. It's just beside the park and the rooms are quite good clean and all needed amenities available. The Food was good.Rooms space is good for two person. Rooms are good and clean, Bathroom and WC are neat and clean, Bathroom cabin available. Hot cold water available. Wifi and Air-conditioning is good. Reading table and chairs are available. Window are quite enough big which provides great day light and sunlight.The Breakfast is awesome....in Buffett the menu is great. Cold coffee, and Paratha are really good in taste. In dinner all dishes are of good taste and sweet is available. the service in dining is also very good from staff. Overall experience is awesome.

Fantastic location, close to the airport as well as the railways station. Food is average and so is the service. But go there for the convenience of location. The banquet halls are good to conduct seminars and workshops for 30-50 people.

They gave us a free upgrade to a deluxe room and had excellent housekeeping staff . Very close to the Andheri Station and the airport. We had a pleasant stay. The food is a tad bit on the expensive side but it was worth it.

Hotel park view is good place to have a meeting. They have very fine conference room. I have given 3 star because they give very good hospitality in serving. Staff is very polite. I love the food of and the setting area of canteen. Food was quite delicious but soup was okok. You must try the dessert at the end of lunch, i think that is the specially of the place. They also give both type of roti roti and Chapati that is +1 point. And I have not given 5 star because the place is slight cozy, they will offer breakfast in the same conference room which slightly odd.

Been visiting this place since a kid in the 90s. Hasn't changed one bit during my recent visit after 5 years. A no frills restaurant to the core, their food was up to the mark along with reasonable prices. The owner is pretty friendly and can make alterations to a dish if you request it. DO NOT eat from here if you dislike Indo-Chinese Cart style food.

Ordered 2 pav bhaji, 1 sev dahi puri, 2 juices. Pav bhaji was most tasteless, no spice, no salt nothing. Sev dahi puri didn't had good amount of stuffing. Juices were okayish. Please only order juices, rest food is not worth even 10 rupees.

I dont know why people is praising so much, here one of the member is opening the window of the room for some fresh air., by mistake my finger get caught and I get hurt, so I politely ask him for a small band aid they directly refused and ask me to pay 10 Rs. for single band aid 😱 when I asked them if they have any first aid box they denied and said management not allowed us to give you the babd aid I was so shocked . Even a single band aid... My god its really so cruel

The charges are good enough but the services and room is very poor. The chairs n beds were broken n cracked, people cleaned our room without us asking for it, when said they were rude enough to say that it's a policy of every hotel, I am the President of Organic Council of India, hv travelled n stayed almost everywhere but this is not the way to behave with the guests. After returning at night from my meetings i realised my stuff was touched by the cleaning people, which is very unethical, my personal belongings weren't safe n accessed by the cleaners. Would not return again, sorry!!

Had been there for a licensing training and is not the first time I have been there. One of the most important part of a Hotel is it's Hospitalty and they for sure are 5 on 5 and no doubt atall about that. Staff and management is very well organized too a special heads up to the outdoor restaurant manager Yogendra (Yogi) he is par excellence and manges his own domain and beyond excellently👍🏼

PATHETIC SERVICE So I was traveling all over India from 20 days for a purchase purpose and two days back I got to Mumbai and booked my hotel in Karl residency.. for real I got the baddest experience from Karl residency and and its staff.. i had already paid for the rooms in advance and the next day they denied my entry cos I haven't paid the next day bill.. in my experience, i used to pay the rest of the bill while checking out.. but things turned here.. they made me stay outside for a hour.. and even denied my buffet saying that i need to pay first,then only they will provide the food.. wat is this nonsense.. there's old man in the reception with glasses.. keep away from him guys.. his attitude is so so pathetic . I can't even imagine how bad he treated me.. i don't even wanna give single star.. worst worst service .. please don't goto Karl residency.. I prefer park view over Karl residency.. park view is next to Karl . So please please don't stay in Karl . It's humble request from my side🙏🙏🙏🙏

This is very old hotel and look ugly. The food service is not good. Outside food is not allowed. It's too expensive and not worthy for money. You can get far better hotel in this budget.

Most Disgusting Hotel ! Stayed overnight at Hotel Karl Residency with my wife. This place is undoubtedly the most disgusting and filthiest hotel one can come across. Even lodges on highway are far more cleaner. The room stinks, the ,floor is sticky (as it has not been n a good scrub), the furniture in the room has peeled off, the mirror in the room is stained and the hotel authorities have the audacity to term this as 'Delux' room. The staff is a notch above in being absolutely rude to their customers. Right from their manager at the reception to the lousy waiters who attend to room requests. When you order food at the room and sign on the bill with a request to add it to the final bill, the waiter will insist you pay immediate and in cash. I had placed a request for a bottle of cold water at 11 pm. They delivered the same to our room at 1230 am. Apparently this place is owned by a Parsee. Parsee's are known for their cleanliness and hygiene. This is the first I have ever come across which is the filthiest. DO NOT visit. There are much cleaner and better accommodations in Andheri and Juhu which one can visit at rates considerably lesser than what Karl Residency charges. Karl Residency to be avoided under any circumstances

Worst hotel I have came across.. The rooms are so unhygiene. Foul smell comes from the bathroom. No toiletries are provided here . This hotel rooms have insects and cockroaches. The air conditions in the room are mostly not functional. The trash bin is so dirty . No mineral water sealed bottle are provided here instead they provide refilled water . That I dono from where. But the water tasted salty.

Good hotel and nice ambience, stayed there for 3 nights. Customer service was satisfactory and food was good and tasty. Rooms were clean and in person service was easily accessible. I would recommend it to anyone with a moderate budget .

Very Bad Experience it won't matter to Mr Karl nor his staff n the Managers I had a small birthday party o the 25th Dec 2023 at the Ban quet... After the guest wishing my wife .. and after the party we went home he found out that the four gift packets which was containing gold went missing these were last four guest who had wished my wife .. we immediately called Mr Sheikh as Savio was on leave for Christmas I told Mr Sheikh to show us the footage as there was a CCTV installed in the banquet day 1 he agreed to show the Footage next day Mr Sheikh complained that the engineer was not ready to come I kept calling them Mr Rohan is a very arrogant person He also denied it .. Later they Made me Speak to Mr Karl ..He is worst then all that is why his Managers And Staff have the audacity of insulting the Clients .. Mr Karl told me that it was my responsibility to take care of my belongings I agree for what he said,then why is the CCTV installed I asked him. Mr Karl told me that the CCTV are installed but nothing was recorded as they weren't working so he was going to install a new one .. He even told me you can go to Zuhu Police Station and lodge a complaint bcose he knew that no one would help me for this ..they all seen the Footage n knew it was among the staff who stole my Packets .. it is very Transparent that even the staff Members might be knowing that the CCTV Arent working that is why it was among one of them to pick the packets Karl Residency hotel staff Members are thieves And worst of all is the Owner who has no respect for the ladies and very Arrogant towards the ladies... They treat the clients very badly..I would Rate nothing for the hotel..

I hosted my engagement party and trust me it was the best decision made. Everything was done so well that all my guests enjoyed the party. Food was good even the staff was very very helpful. There was nothing that was not right. I would really thank Mr Shaikh and Mr Savio for being there and helping us throughout the function.

Visited this hotel to attend a Birthday event at their basement Hall. A reasonable height basement Hall for limited crowd around 100-150. Very good Air Conditioned. Serious downside was their food served at the event - starters, soup, aloo chat, main course - a total flip side on taste - a big question mark cheff and kitchen in charge. Limited parking in the hotel complex, with self drive (no valet available), once you move to their parking area and face no parking lot available, then move out in the reverse mode to your car out of the premise and park on the along side road. I had to park my car on the road. Luckily got parking nearby. But, by the time I came out I had move out my car between two cars parked bumper to bumper. Hotel is situated on the narrow road.

We had a Birthday function on Tuesday 12th Dec 2023 in the Hotel Karl Residency in Lallubhai Park area, Andheri West. We selected this venue as we liked the ambience and also found the food quality comparatively better at the time of food testing. But on the event day it was disappointing to find the food quality not up to the mark considering Rs 900/- rate per plate. The Hotel should seriously look into this matter. We are happy to state that the air conditioning system of the venue is excellent. The hall is good for the mob of upto 100-150 person, provided good there is an improvement in the food quality.

A short stay that was worth every buck . The customer friendly staff made tge check in process easy even though I arrived around 6pm . Once I got my keys and stepped into the room there was nothing to complain about it . Fresh sheets , towels and more over sheets with no stains and pressed sheets with no creases . The off white lights I the room creates a good ambiance that's calming and impeccable room service . Good place to host dinners or functions as well and if you order food the kitchen staff will make recommendations if you ask . All together a pleasant experience , customer oriented staff and priced reasonably.

One word for the type of service "PATHETIC " There was no proper water supply, room was changed but there was maintenance going on at the same floor and the paint smell was inconvenient. The replacement room was smaller then the original room that was booked. The room service associate was rude when asked for the time when the food would be served. The reception desk was of no use as we got no proper resolution. An A/c room was booked but at some point the A/c stopped cooling. When informed the reception desk they offered to change the room as if it is a game to keep changing rooms with our bags. We chose this place to relax and not to jump from one room another. Rooms are not checked before guests arrive. Room service also didn't respond in time to clear the used plates. There was 0 value for money. We regret paying up in advance. I suggest that we rather think twice before choosing this place. Even though it's located at a prime location but the services offered are below standard. The basic necessity of water was not provided.

It's not a very old hotel, but surely feels like one. Desperately needs interior overhaul. Functional but could have been maintained better. Helpful Staff is the additional plus point other than the proximity to Andheri railway station.

Its a decent budget hotel, the staff are accommodating and polite. The room size is considerably big when compared to other hotels of the area in the same price. But the hotel needs to maintain their standards in cleaning. The room provided to me was in terrible condition (in terms of cleanliness), the fans had so much dust on it that when you turn it on it falls on the bed. The bedside tables were dirty and the towels had some smell which didn’t make it appear to be fresh and clean. The washbasin had a leaking pipe. Although after pointing out these things, my room got changed and the new room was better than this but not something that i would expect out of the hotel room.

Functional hotel situated in a quiet neighbourhood . More known for corporate activities. Be ready to wade through crowds at the breakfast buffet and reception. Rooms are very nice, Bed lenin is A class.

I have been staying in Karl since 2010, whenever I visit Mumbai for work. Its proximity to the airport is a huge advantage. It’s less than 15 min away from the airport. The food here is awesome - it’s actually better than some 5-star hotels. Also, the staff is friendly and courteous. It used to be in better shape once. Now, some of the rooms in the upper floors have a dank smell, probably because of seepage in the walls. But I’d still consider Karl to be good value for money.

This hotel is located in the area that is almost very much easy to travel to most of the place in the city.. the food is great and the ambience is cool.. the amenities in the rooms are provided and neatly maintained.. I would highly recommend this one for the people who are planning to stay in the city...

The bed was incredibly cozy, guaranteeing a peaceful night's sleep, and the cleanliness of the room was exceptional. Additionally, the breathtaking views from my window added a touch of serenity to my mornings.

We stayed at the Karl Residence for one Night only. The rooms were spacious and clean, as were the Toilet and Bathroom. Hotel pricing was good and the service provided by the front desk and other staff was excellent. Following check-out we left our bags in the small lobby to walk the surrounding area as we had some time on our hands. Interestingly, the Hotel is very centrally located, with SV road and its multitude of shops being only a short walk away. Yet it is located in a quiet area and there was no disturbance at night whatsoever. Our room Wifi was rather slow but it appears that each room has a separate router. My friends did not face the same issues and therefore this aspect has not negatively impacted on my review rating.

For a hotel that charges your ₹.4000+ per night its an Ancient Hotel with Ancient mindset at service. Although rooms were clean the property itself is very old and aged! Ancient Bathrooms ! Also something shocking was they charge You if you ask for Empty Plates or Glasses or even spoon ! Even the toiletries provided were something never seen ! This property is just waste and is running because of its proximity to Andheri Station. Never Again !

Decent Hotel with good food. Had been there for a function so can't assess how their a la carte menu is. But overall a good place. Accessibility from Andheri East to West is a problem if you intend to travel by cab or own vehicle, due to peak hours traffic in Mumbai.

Hotel a night stay cost is fine between some 3 .. yeah food I would prefer breakfast items here. Like sandwiches etc.. Yeah but have fun staying here ....

It's difficult to find hotel location but hotel interior,rooms,staffs are very cooperative. Hotel food is very expensive which i saw in room's menu so did not order anything and not tried. Rooms are clean and spacious. Wifi is very slow need to improve that. You get 2 small beds thats not sufficient for single person and for couple its difficult to manage. Overall average stay.

The party hall on the 8th floor needs complete overhauling. I have been to a lot of parties here but the catering was just not good on the 16th Dec.

This is one of the most silent and amazing property I have seen in Andheri. Located besides a Park. The rooms are very specious and have all basic amenities. Hotel with 40 rooms. It is a good option to stay in Andheri/Vile Parle. Walking distance from the Andheri Station and very near the domestic terminal . It has buffet arrangements for guests. In-house restaurant is also available. Food is amazing. Try mutton here. Great place.

I attended a 3 day workshop in the hall of this hotel. Hall was decent, service was excellent, food was excellent... Can't comment on the rooms since I dint stay there... Ample parking space outside the hotel... 5-10 mins from andheri station.. 10 mins walking from andheri West Station....

This hotel is at a walkable distance from andheri railway station. Considering the price of room , they are just ok. They have a presentation rooms which is good for small gathering of 40 -50 people. Food offered in their restuarant is excellent.

The parking is just enough, which can be managed a bit more. But otherwise the service from the folks within room service is quickly and highly appreciable. The rooms are neat and tidy and well kept. All in all worth the penny you put in.

Hii all,we went there recently in afternoon time for lunch,we had a bad experience that late service,we ordered Tali ...rice was not boiled properly and late service,and not even they are serving rice in the plate...no manager to look after that,staff discussing infront of customers about how they are doing and all...So over all not good....as we thought it was from so many years.....at Vijayawada ....but not upto the mark .........it better to eat at outside canteen than this....

All over the hotel we wil feel cigar smell. Laundry is so poor. Bedsheets and blankets are below average. Not changed or cleaned properly. We cant set temperature in Air conditioning. We didnt even get remote for tv. Room service is so poor. Staff are unprofessional. Inhouse restaurant not all items are available.

Less than 1 km from railway station. Was a good hotel. Present (June 2022) maintenance not upto the mark. But still remains the best hotel among those close to the railway station.

Stayed for 2 days and this is one of the best hotel in Vijayawada. Located near to busstand and railway gives an advantage. Food and hospitality is top-notch.
