This hotel has got many rooms where there is lot of stinking smell. House keeping is bad and ignorant..during my 8 days stay , all the time health faucet kept leaking.. no issue solved.. they have got major problem in their water supply for washrooms.. at anytime water is stopped.. no handtowels were kept inspite of asking also.. food is just okay.. reception managers are slow in their work. At the time of check out their printer stopped working and they couldn't produce the bill for long.. a very very average hotel

It's an average 3 star hotel right at the centre of chembur market a congested place. It's very close to chembur station anf Ambedkar Garden and everything is walking distance from this location. You can enjoy all restaurant specially south indian. However, didn't like room as it requires maintenance and aura is missing. On first floor you have Le Cafe this is good alternative to Startbucks as it quite place. Overall an average place at this steep price.

Absolute Pathetic stay in this Hotel !!. Checked if from Blore on the 1st Night and was in for a shocking surprise. My room was full of water. Person from House Keeping was summoned . He came with a bucket and a mopping stick to clean up. It took almost an hour at 11pm to clean up the room. Buckets were damaged and water was spilling out every where. After all this confusion, i went to bed around 12 in the mid night. Horror waited for me the next morning as once again the room was filled up with water due to overnight rains. Disgusting time. Added to this confusion , there was no HOT WATER to bathe. When help was sought, the front desk told me that there was a technical problem and he would send 2 Buckets of hot water. Absolute tragedy. After about an hour or so , I did get 2 buckets of hot water . Was delayed to my function and my over all experience was disgusting. Terrible response from the staff. Request you all NOT to choose this place for a overnight stay. You will have a nightmare dealing with service. Without a choice of '0" i am giving it a 1. BE CAREFUL !!!!

Booked a room here so that we could turn for the monsoon marathon with a good night of sleep. The location is nice and the restaurants are pretty amazing. In terms of accommodation, it was pretty bland for 6k. These service was okay. Probably want to give another try.

Newly constructed/renovated banquet hall is spacious and well lit. Food served was excellent! Staff is very co-operative. Should be 1st choice to hold function/gathering of about 40 people.

It's a old hotel, located near the market place. Rooms are good, but needs a bit of cleaning, so as the bathrooms, tap in the bathroom had leakage. Complimentary breakfast provided has very limited items, such as tea coffee, juice, milk, two type of fruits, two type of snacks items. Refilling of these items takes time as staff is slow in arranging it. Overall it's a good place.

Some of the staff like Sunil, Rajiv and few others are a blessing for this place. Location is good for anyone who needs access to railway stn, local market n restaurants. Prices are steep considering the whole package. A good allround option in chembur which has limited choices.

Update 2023:- now they rent out terrace for functions so don't take room on upper floor. I was up for whole night prior my early morning flight. Noise and music is unbearable and annoying. Positives----It's centrally located and public transport is very near. Rooms are quite spacious and neatly maintained through out my stay. Hotel staff are helpful. And we can't say it's expensive compared to Mumbai standards of hotel and price(reasonably priced). Breakfast is good and nice variety everyday. I got upgraded to superior room for a day without extra cost. Negatives---- food variety is not that good I can say it's mostly prepared from things kept in fridge. But it's not an issue as there are lot of options are available to eat outside. Don't take rooms on first floor as they rent out some hall and that makes rooms quite noisy during stay. Bathroom floor is quite slippery because of the tiles fitted we need to be more careful to avoid fall or trip... overall--I prefer to stay again for its location and options of food and shopping around this place. And location and connectivity at the same time I hope there improve or change what we find negatives during our stay.

Rooms were good but two single beds were provided that were too small for a 6 foot person.... Room service was not upto mark... Once they even forget to deliver the dinner ordered... Location is nearby crowded market area

Hotel is having a prime location. But their service is slow and unprofessional. Charges are also high . They have a fine dining restaurant at first floor by the name Via bombay. Breakfast was good but very limited options were their. Still you can stay with family. Overall 4 stars.

This hotel is located near the Chembur market. It houses 2 good restaurants. However the staff is not good. I called to check if the reservation was confirmed. But the manager wasn't available. We asked if they can deliver our Swiggy order as their kitchen was closed. They refused to send it. Room was okay and not worth the price they are charging for it. Breakfast was good but that also closed by 10:10 leaving us without coffee.

The location and room was the only best part here. I stayed with my family for 9 days. Things that was an issue: - Constant work of painting right outside the room - Room service terrible - they would not keep towels, use the same bedsheet again and when ask them to change they would get angry - getting plates and cutlery was atleast 45mins wait - Worst are the reception staff - they have a lot of attitude and think that helping us they are doing a favour - Our room was on the 5th floor and one day they stopped the lift - Valet wasn't available - my husband removed other's car so we could take our's out. - The breakfast buffet staff wouldn't even give the table water - we had to ask them multiple times. - I stayed with my daughter who is 2 year old and the staff wouldn't even give/help to get food for her. - While checkout i told them i was disappointed and literally no one cared - There is no guest effort. ** Asif from the reception staff was the only one when around would try to fix some things

Went to Via Bombay. It was a first and last experience, I'll never go back there. Unnecessarily expensive, the menu options are too less. The taste was horrible. Lot of food got wasted. The coconut soup tasted like chemicals, it was not fresh.

Booked hotel and then ended up running around for a refund. Hotel is not allowing checkin due to rate disparity with goibibo and to get refund it will take 8 days. Horrible experience and hotel admin team doesn't care..!!! There are other hotels with better rates in the same vicinity better opt for them..!!!

This is definitely not a couple-friendly hotel though it comes up in all the searches as one. They should clearly post that they will not admit couples. The hotel puts up a façade of being glitzy and posh, overcharging for rooms and restaurant, while holding on to antiquated 19th century rules in modern Mumbai.

I felt , staff need lot to training on how to interact with customer inluding people at reception. Not at all courteous. Room service is pathetic, they need reminders for small things like delivering water to the room. I will never recommend this property to anyone

My Wife and I recently returned from Bombay after a stay at the Jewel of Chembur for 9 days We found the Hotel to be very nicely furnished and very clean throughout. The restaurant and the Café on the first floor served a wide variety of cuisines The staff including Varsha, Asif and Sunil went out of their way to help us. We would stay there again

Have not really visited this place per se but the menu was delectable....to say the least. <para> Also, the part in my review about "communal kitchen" seems misleading. Was just concerned about crowded kitchen places in today's times of pollution. <para> Apologies about using this term without proper thought.... <para> Thank You

So far the best experience of staying in Mumbai very much safe for women, accessible from key locations, loved their Cinnamon rolls… staff is also quite friendly. Much recommended!!!

Superb place for lunch. Though they have a work of not serving food from one part of the restaurant in another. They have a continental menu and Indian menu. Technically it is two restaurants, but no wall in between and the same kitchen. So that is weird that they will not serve customers what they want. That said the food we ordered was superb. We had masala bhat, Bombay baingan bharta, dal fry and egg masala. All the dishes were excellent and authentic tasting. And they gave a couple of paani puris in the beginning, complimentary, they were superb too.

Bed linen could have been cleaner. Otherwise good rooms and service in a happening locality. The 2 restaurants attached to the property offer excellent food options and some good discounts to guests.

Location - very close to Chembur East station Reception - Quite prompt & fast. Easy processing of bills with room allocation as per your choice if available Food - The silver lining of the JoC would be its food. Two restaurants Via Bombay & La Café serve one of the best spread over Indian, continental cuisine Rooms are adequate and well house keeped
