Had good quality prior but now it has hit rock bottom. Food quality is very basic, the rotisserie aren't cooked properly and the quantity is very low for the price. Waiters don't even serve the food.

Worst thali ever had in Mumbai...they call it as Combo...for Rs. 240/-...tasteless paneer bhaji and rice served was not fresh... I would recommend not to eat combo there... I haven't tried other options but after having this combo I would not visit this hotel again..

SADANAND RESTAURANT, Crawford MarketπŸ₯° In the frame, Sadanand restaurant, one of the Oldest Veg Restaurant and a modest hotel, which is just 12 minutes' walk from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station, Mumbai. This restaurant provides you with different pure vegetarian cuisines and is loved by many because of which the place is always crowded, and many a times you will have to wait for your turn to dine-in. The place is well maintained and kept hygienic, and the whole restaurant is a Ground +1 AC restaurant.Β The ambience is good when compared to neighbouring restaurants. Because of its close proximity to Lohar chawl and Crawford market, which are a wholesale shopping hubs of Mumbai, many prefer to shop here and then visit this restaurant to have a great meal. The food is really great and the taste is up to the mark. The South Indian dishes are a must-try. We tried Cheese Pav Bhaji, Tawa Pulav, and Sweetened Dahi Wada. All of them were perfect in taste and had a great aroma. The staff here are well-informed and in case you need their assistance, they will be more than happy to suggest their specialities. Β Their service is also very prompt. Do visit this restaurant and try their cuisines and yes, do share your experiences with us. Overall rating :- 3/5🌟 Ambience - 3🌟 Hygiene - 3🌟 Food - 4🌟 Staff - 4🌟 Interaction - 4🌟

If you are done shopping at crawford market and your legs start speaking Italian that's the time when you must rest your back at this place and get yourself treated with those lip smacking south ka dishes mainly in this area apart from matunga yes. Good : Location, Food, Prices, Ac, Variety of food. Bad : Crowded no matter when you go, A bald manager will be staring down your throat as to when you will give the money and get out, They keep the bill until you ask them for it.

Sadanand is a Pure vegetarian restaurant opp Crawford market. It may be the only hygenic vegetarian restaurant in that vicinity. Always crowded it is because what if offers is tough to get in that area. It is a bit expensive in terms of pricing but considering the area and property rates there.....it is not expensive. It is a Classic Udupi restaurant + the modern food fusions of chinese, pav bhaji, Puri bhaji, pizzas, sandwiches. South Indian filter coffee is superb. The restaurant has South Indian roots.... But all other cuisines are also good. Value buy Thali food is also good here.

We ordered Chappati/roti with a dal & subzi combo. The food is good enough for a person and the price is reasonable. We ordered fruit juice which was very expensive. ( β‚Ή150) Best place to have food in a crowded crawford area and it is clean.

This is hotel that serves food, we had their set dosa, soda dosa, and idli munchurian it was not that tasty and the prices are quite high. Would not recommend πŸ˜•

Its the only veg air conditioned restaurant in busy Crawford market area. So for that given it an extra star. But the food taste was below average. Avoid their thali's as it's not worth.

Nice pure veg hotel in crowford market Mumbai. One can get Maharashtrian thali, south Indian dishes, Punjabi dishes, Quality is best. Service is also nice. Must try Ukdiche Modak. Their cake shop also and they serve cake portions on tables also.

Being in Mumbai's very busy street it is not so spacious, but it is our favourite place especially for South Indian snacks.

  • 3/5 kuldip B. 7 months ago on Google
I had Veg thali here it was nice food. Only if they can change their old style of service it will be a better place to eat.

We have been visiting this place for years now. You can see old pictures of Mumbai at the entrance. It's the only vegetarian Air conditioner restaurant in the busy Crawford market area. The place is quite busy and you need to wait to get in. The food is good, and the service is quick...

There is always a rush to get in but the food quality is great . I enjoy my meals here always after a tiring shopping spree at the Crawford market. Some waiters are little rude at times but it's okay to understand duento busy schedule they run at. A suggestion : in case if a customer is not happy with regular vegetables they should add other vegetables in the dishes and Give. for eg.. whenever my family orders Chinese fried rice we always say no to carrots and French beans as we have a allergic issue with them and cannot consume. Other hotels add mushroom or baby corn or corn kernels spring onion etc...and give but when I ordered it here all.i got was cabbage in the same . So that can be looked at . The south indian food is amazing

One of the worse restaurant in Crawford market. No decency of staff, behaved very indecently. Avoid this place at all cost. Better places are available for food else where. ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!

Good place for food. Enjoyed paav bhaji, coconutπŸ₯₯ uttapa, hakka noodles 🍜.. and ukadiche modak. Must try.. give ur modak order prior while having main course as ukadiche modak takes 20 mins for preparation

The food was really tasty but the quantity was little less than other hotels. Staff was friendly. We had a great lunch there.

  • 1/5 vaishnavi r. 2 months ago on Google New
Very bad service, we had to wait for 20 mins for a waiter to come to our table πŸ™„ we had to literally call the manager in the hotel to have the waiter sent, even after that the waiter came after taking his sweet time 😡😡😡

Amazing place serving pure veg food. Tried the pav bhaji, caramel custard and the Strawberry Milkshake. It's a very decent place to stop by for a lunch with family in the middle of shopping.

  • 4/5 Priyanka S. 1 year ago on Google
The only decent hotel nearby in that location it you are visiting Lohar chal. Vegetarian food - good food quality. Extremely busy at all times, hence there might be an queue for getting a seating.. Staff is very cooperative and cordial. We had breakfast as well as lunch here..

  • 1/5 vinod r. 1 year ago on Google
We had pav bhaji and veg fried rice taste of pav bhaji was cool but when we get fried rice in sauce there was dead mosquito in soya sauce so not like food very much as far as cleanlyness concern and AC water lick age on seat. we are paying their cost and still we are not getting hygienic food than its a waste of money.

What an amazing place to dine in for your breakfast. We were there early by 10am. Had filter coffee, tomato onion uthappa, toast sandwich, misal and tomato omelette for all of us. Delicious taste. Made a good start that day

A great place to have South Indian/North Indian food when shopping around in Mumbai. Here are my thoughts about the restaurant - Food (4/5) We had - Rava Sada Dosa Sada dosa Veg Kolhapuri with Tandoori roti Fresh Lime Water Tea Dosas were excellent and the sambhar, chutney served with it were too good. Veg Kolhapuri exceeded are expectations. It was not over spicy, had freshly cut vegetables and the gravy tasted excellent Service (4/5) Even though the restaurant was jam packed, service was pretty quick. Ambiance (4/5) Simplistic decor inline with the theme they are having since so many years. Washroom is clean.

Absolutely the best. Excellent and authentic food. This isn’t a sit down, dawdle and chat place. Come in eat, feel satisfied, leave. Brian and efficient service. The seasonal items are delicious. Perfect location to eat at and then run your errands across the road in Crawford Market or in Lohar Chawl or Zaveri Bazaar.

Service is ok. Food is ok. Veg biryani is terrible. The owner or manager at the front billing desk is rude and grumpy. He needs to learn to be pleasant, smile and be polite

  • 5/5 Virendra S. 1 year ago on Google
Loved the handi biryani and mushroom masala. Even though the quality was less, it was worth the price. Service was very quick and table service was good. Probably the best restaurant in Kalbadevi.

It is a clean and excellent place for pure vegetarian food. Taste wise good, service is quick and courteous. Air conditioning comfortable, pricewise reasonable. Nothing to complain about! Sorry Sunday's closed.

It's our every Monday's high-tea arena. The service provided at times can be fairly slow due to rush hours but overall the boys handle them efficiently. A must visit for a quick snack if nearby. πŸ™‚

You need to adjust the questions, visited the restaurant, didn't stay there. Not even sure if they have rooms. Very good food, even when we had ordered sans Onion n garlic. Freshly prepared, yet quick service
