Rooms r good. But, food can be better. The quality of food served for breakfast is bad. It has to be improved with immediate effect for other guests sake. For the amount charged per day, the complimentary breakfast as it's called by them is not at all good. We don't get filter coffee too. So, on the whole the quality of food & it's taste "has to be enhanced". The location of the hotel is far & no autos r allowed in that area. We hv to be dependent on taxis only. The " Taxis" r all very old & we don't get a comfortable ride in it. Yet, we hv to be dependent on those taxis only.

A really good hotel to stay in. Huge rooms, clean bed and interiors and really good service. The hotel gives the feel of staying in a palace, as its made out of stone. Totally worth the price. must to visit there.

Size of the deluxe room was good, however the overall ambience was average. Cupboard had a strong stinking smell. Could see a cobweb near the door. The breakfast buffet spread was limited as compared to other 3 star hotels. Only egg was available in live counter. I didn't find worth the price (Rs 700). Service in the restaurant was very good 👍🏼 Location of the hotel is great.

Seriously is this a 3star hotel? Pls avoid staying in this hotel 1. AC's in the room are some 20 years old which was too noisy and i was not able to sleep whole night.(They say it's old property, but that doesn't matter to update AC) 2. Fridge in the room is useless- Nothing inside and it was not even switched on. 3. No comb, dental kit or shower cap in the room - you have to ask them everytime. 4. Wifi was useless and was not even working.

Excellent location! Walking distance from Colaba, Marine Drive, Churgate, CST. Located in a very quiet and secured part of Mumbai. Reason I gave 4 stars because the room wasn’t cleaned properly and and the air conditioner takes ages to cool temperature down. Breakfast is average. Staff are very friendly and helpful and polite

Great hotel with a legacy of many many years. ..rooms are quite specious and it is just 10 minutes aways from CST railway station. Hotel staff is very nice however I feel the price for delux room is little High compare to the value for money.

Grand hotel is hidden away further from the city. The breakfast in the morning was straightforward, I and my parents enjoyed this place a lot after travelling around for weeks on end. It has an ancient and vintage feel to it but was very peaceful, I would go on to say that I had one of the best night's nights of sleep during the entire weeks we travelled around. We ordered late-night vegetable Hakka noodles many times and they managed to wash our clothes very well every single time. Thank you for having us and make the stay amazing.

Fantastic stay. Fantastic location, I was fortunate enough to see a web series shoot during my stay. Architecture is great, rooms are spacious and welcoming. My only concern was the breakfast buffet was quite average. I mean you can get far more and better food in included breakfast meals at hotels that are much cheaper. That's the only let down for me. Apart from it the beauty and location will make it worth every penny.

The food they served was of good quality and delicious. Staff service was good. Most important thing at all places they take care of hygiene. For ensuring food safety all the waiters and staff used masks. They ensure extra protection during food preparation. At last, they ensure protection from Covid as all staff used masks at all places. The location of the hotel is also perfect as it is near to the chatrapati shivaji terminus.

The hotel itself is very old and seems to have a lot of history. The location is superb very close to CST and Colaba, so if you want to explore south Mumbai on foot, the hotel is ideally located. The rooms are decent but for the price we could get better hotels with modern facilities. Room service is pretty costly, i ordered tea and water which costed 250 rs each. Complimentary breakfast was decent but again for the price being paid, not that much good of a spread. I felt the price being paid for the rooms are mostly for the locality which is really good for walks especially on weekends.

The infrastructure and aesthetic is perfect if you're into a vintage setting. Excellent in terms of cleanliness and service. Would 100% recommend if you're looking for a family friendly getaway!

Hotel has a great location, not far from Colaba and its main attractions however on the quiet side of Mumbai, surrounded by beautiful old english era buildings with very old Banyan trees. Pro: Its peaceful, safe side of Mumbai. Grand Hotel Building itself is old and quiet interesting, needs some more serious investment to bring the best for visitors. Cons: AC equipment is old and very loud, you can not sleep with it if its turned on. Furniture (chairs) needs serious cleaning or maybe changed and bathrooms needs to be better maintained. Food was ok, not so much variety, its basic. The restaurant area is nice spacious, elegant a bit gloomy, without lack of some touch of color or relaxing music to put you into good vibes. Restaurant Personal was very nice thou, helpful, welcoming everyone with smile. Its beautiful hotel and very old and probably had better days in the past. Wish it could reach potential of its name and level of at least 4star hotel. Front desk staff is very nice and helpful, manager Madhu will be happy to help you with any concerns.

It's a 100 year old hotel . But it still looks like new . Located in one of the best places in Mumbai. The rooms are good. The service and food is awesome.

Every thing is fine there except the one tall guy seems to be Manager there. He was there specially at morning breakfast time at resturant .His behavior is really very rude seems to be very surprising specially in these hospitality business. I think he is old and loyal employee of propiter but certainly his behavior is good to customer of hotel who stay there.

Horrible and worst ever hotel we stayed in at Mumbai, pathetic service , we were there for just one night as my son had his exams to appear for and reach by 07:30 am at the examination hall, the AC is some old fashioned window one, water was not provided when it was most need of the hour, locker facility isn’t working , lazy staff at the reception. I left my bag in the room with valuables and luckily my husband told me to carry my wallet and leave rest of the stuff in the room and we three stepped out for dinner, the houses keeping staff flicked my entire make up purse which had expensive makeup items in it when he/she visited the room to add an extra bed when we were not around. The next morning when I went looking in my bag my make up kit was missing, they are big time crooks for the price we paid INR 7800 per night is not worth at all, I read the reviews and thought let’s go in for this hotel looks clean and hygienic and a decent place for a family stay but complete waste of our money. If there was an option for zero rating that’s what this hotel is all about.

The heritage components are fantastic, it is the modern tech that can be a bit "iffy". But a great place to be if you are on business in South Mumbai. The place seriously reminds one of the ambience in some of the old European hotels. Also, they should consider starting breakfast a bit earlier, say, 7:30 instead of 8:00 AM.

What it lacks in fancy facilities it more than makes up for in old world charm and great staff. Stayed from 7/9/21 to 10/9/21. Very clean, comfortable beds (make sure you insist on a double-bed room prior to arrival and payment, however, else you might get stuck with a twin single-bed room), spacious bathrooms, plenty of storage space and in as peaceful a neighborhood as Mumbai has to offer. The only thing I'd change is the size of the television, and the availability of a properly hot shower. Any complaints I had were promptly addressed to my satisfaction. Recommended.

This was the worst experience of my life. The rooms are so dirty and stink like a public toilet. The bathroom was last time renovated in 1970, pubic hair everywhere! Blood on the sheets. Everything smells terrible, if you open the window you will suffocate. The staff must be the rudest I have ever seen in my life. They can't provide you wifi if your room is not ready, they said: for security sir, nowadays crime is done online. Poor breakfast, all the tables are dirty even if the guests are not sitting at them, quality -10, service -10. This is not a hotel, this is a nightmare, I couldn't wait to get out. Places like this should be closed and the staff relocated to other jobs, they obviously hate this. I'd rather go to jail than stay here again.

Beautiful property in Ballard estate that takes you back to imperial times. Clean rooms with wifi, tv and a balcony! Fairly large for Mumbai standards. Lovely place to stay.

The staff deserve the special mention , I was greeted with warm smiles and we're ready to assist with my queries and requests.. The rooms were clean nd comfortable, overall decor was tastefully done. Quality of food was very good.

Cons -Staff were pleasant and polite however when I asked for the bathroom tiled are to be cleaned( it had black marks in the shower recess and foot prints in the bathroom the desk man said” oh you got your bathroom cleaned twice today didn’t you”. I got it cleaned because it was dirty on arrival not because I made it dirty.this comment appeared quite sarcastic. The air con is very old. pros- great location in an interesting heritage area - this hotel could be fantastic if the colour scheme and furnishings and quality of sheets in the rooms were upgraded as it is a beautiful old building .Some nice small restaurants near by to eat ( till 6pm) The size of the rooms are large and very spacious,however , it is not value for money
