To
be
honest
to
this
restaurant,
this
was
one
of
the
better
tasting
Indian
food
I
have
had
in
Central
London
area.
In
my
opinion,
many
Indian
restaurants
water
down
the
authenticity
so
it
can
cater
to
a
wider
local
audience.
Nonetheless
the
food
served
at
Bombay
Palace
straddled
a
fine
line
between
being
a
British
Indian
cuisine
and
authentic
Indian
cuisine.
And
it
succeeds
in
that
regard.
This
success
can
be
ascertained
by
the
crowd
that
dine
at
the
restaurant,
consisting
of
both
British
and
Indian
customers.
Depending
on
what
kind
of
Indian
food
you
like,
there
is
a
going
to
British
Indian
food
like
Madras
curry
and
Tikka
Masala,
or
OG
Indian
food
like
chaat
and
momos.
You
won't
be
stuck
without
options.
We
ordered
the
ragda
pattice
chaat,
tandoori
mixed
grill
platter,
missi
roti,
paneer
kulcha
and
chicken
Tikka
masala.
The
Tikka
Masala
and
Mixed
Grill
were
the
best
ones
we
have
had
in
UK.
No
doubts
about
that.
The
portions
were
good
too
as
the
two
of
us
were
full
and
couldn't
finish
off
the
platter
and
Tikka
masala.
Now
the
reasons
why
we
can't
give
them
a
5/5
score
are
because:
1.
Chaat
item
was
just
average.
Missi
roti
was
also
really
dry
and
hard
to
tear
easily.
2.
The
food
felt
a
bit
overpriced
for
the
overall
experience.
3.
The
vibe
and
decor
of
the
hotel
felt
like
it
was
stuck
in
the
1990s
and
would
really
need
to
upgrade
to
reflect
how
other
premium
Indian
restaurants
are
in
London.
In
the
end
I
came
out
of
the
restaurant
with
a
full
belly
and
happy
experience.
I
will
recommend
this
place
especially
if
you
are
looking
to
have
a
group
dinner
just
because
of
the
sheer
variety
of
Indian
food
you
can
experience.
