Harvester was terrible. My order was mixed up. Not even an apology. I was told my my voucher is fake which it wasn't. Horrible attitude from the waitresses. 4 different employees tried to redeem my voucher and it did work in the end. So if you ask yourself how many harvester waiters do you need to redeem a voucher? Its 4 and 2 managers. Sounds like a joke which is exactly what that restaurant is.

This Harvester is fantastic, I have visited many over the years and the staff here are the friendliest, most efficient all round greatest members we have encountered! The food was fantastic and it was so well organised! The best thing is you can walk through the park and enjoy what it has to offer before or after food and you can make it a real afternoon with friends and family! Cannot recommend enough! Thanks a lot :)

Nice cosy place and lovely building. Food and service was fantastic, still like the good old harvester from the old days - apart from the price of course! A nice little find and better than most harvester branches!

I came there expecting it would be lunch at that time and day.I was pleasantly surprised that they were still serving breakfast. I was caught in two minds - decided on breakfast. The best I’ve had and I was attended to by a wonderful waitress - Cat. She was cheerful and so efficient.

Big group went on Sunday, pre booked. Not been to a Harvester for few years, first time to this one. Quick service, food was so good especially the burgers. Food was hot, nothing bad to say about food. Staff were great, even though big group no mistakes. Will definitely be going back.

The food was good, although I would appreciate if you actually label vegan food at the salad bar. Member of the staff -lady with glasses claimed that certain table is booked just because she couldn’t be bother for us to move the tables- clearly table wasn’t booked as no one set in there during our visit…But anyway… We received great service from Taylor.He was very friendly and attentive.Thank you Taylor.

A really lovely looking pub in a beautiful park. The food (burger and chips) was delicious. However, unfortunately the staff really let this place down and I would urge the owners to consider how this impacts the customer experience and future business. We ordered our drinks and they did not come, so my friend had to go and ask where they were from a member of staff who appeared to be on a coffee break and had little interest in the fact that they hadn't brought us our drinks. The pub was not busy at all, either. The staff we encountered did look rather fed up and were not overly friendly, either.

Had a lovely meal.... Our waiter Nick was very efficient and helpful.... My order came with peas, instead of the green beans (as advertised), he noticed it also was missing the gravy, asked if I wanted it... Then proceeded to have the meal returned with the correct elements. I had the pork belly with mash potatoes... Delicious 😋😋

I recently visited Oakmere House for a late lunch, the food was nice and well presented and the portions not too big or too small, the wait between first and second course was a little longer than I would expect but not extraordinary, the tables were clean and set out for the next customers, the staff polite and friendly, at the time we arrived it was almost empty but most people where enjoying the warm day out in the gardens outside which there is access for through the bar area. The prices were reasonable for an eating house near London and it is popular with family's, the toilets were clean but tired and we did book before going. We enjoyed our meal and chose from the set menu I have been before and will go again.

This is the best I've seen this place in 30 years. It has been revamped and the food is great if you're looking for indulgence and fun. The burgers are great and the portions are huge. Don't come here expecting a gourmet dinner. This is pure fun for the kids and your weight gain. If the service stays the same it was amazing. Be sure to tip the waiters and waitresses if you're happy. This motivates people. The only thing I would improve is the salad bar which is free although it's prone to germs and needs better protection.

Big group of us had a ‘Xmas’ night out on 7 October 2023 and Taylor our waiter was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was a brilliant. Food portions were huge, food quality was acceptable. I believe most, if not all, in the party enjoyed their food. Three of us had the salmon but found it overcooked but on the whole the meal was fairly enjoyable.

I’m a regular and order my beef classic EVERY WEEK. It’s just so tasty and excellent value. Five stars to all the team and Oakmere harvester! Also they right enjoy on my bag, which makes me smile! Thanks guys, and I’m expecting an extra free chip with my next order lol, joke joke x From Gemma x

Came into the restaurant today for the first time. Was greeted with a warm welcome by a lady at the front desk. Taken to my table and shortly after was greeted by Taylor, who took our order with a smile. The service was great from start to finish and Taylor was always checking in on us to see if we were okay. I felt very relaxed and the food was amazing. Taylor is asset to the team. Thank you very much.

Had an excellently cooked breakfast for a Very pleasing price. Other venues this price range can't compete. Archie was fantastic and attentive to ensure I was topped up, fed and comfortable, despite the clearly busy morning! Would recommend and visit again.

Great to be back here again after a long while and happy it kept up to previous high standards. Taylor our server was helpful and attentive throughout despite it being incredibly busy all night.

Rude young lady, We had the ultimate mix grill which was missing one egg, we informed the waitress which completely ignored our request dodged the question and kept waiting on other tables. We were 3 people we did order two mains as the mix grill was more than enough for 2, but we were told long after we ordered the mains, that because only two mains were ordered we had to pay for the extra salad we had (the salad you help yourself to at the condiments section) we ended up paying an extra £6.49 for one spoon of coleslaw and some lettuce. Absolutely ridiculous, what a petty way to charge for extras, the least you can do is let people know upfront.

Turkey Christmas Dinner was lovely. Generous portion of turkey & sides. Shame our gluten free friend couldn't have a roast dinner. Only meat & veg is gluten free. Staff were excellent.

Myself and mum visited the Potters Bar Harvesters for lunch and we were received by Nikki and Megan both of whom are exceptionally good waitresses. They kept us comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. The full rack of ribs and sides was very tasty and the salad bar was fresh and lush. The only fault I noted was that the Mojito had no mint leaves available in the served glass. Other than that minor detail in presentation we enjoyed the outing thoroughly. We couldn’t actually finish our main so we took it home in a box. Excellent all round.

It's ok, service was poor, but we were sat outside, always poor service outside. Cheap and cheerful food. Lovely location as you can walk around the lake after lunch

Great food as always and nice to sit outside in the garden when the sun is shining. However, the service is a bit slow and maybe under-staffed. The staff are friendly though and quite accommodating. Nice local place and great food.

Lovely service. Salad bar was nice. Main dinner came which was classic chicken burger and chips. Food was so cold and was not enjoyable at all. My partner had the chicken combo which had ribs, chicken and chips. The food was tasteless. I ordered for my daughter who had a kids meal for chicken bits chips and beans the chicken bits and chips came they forgot the beans. Definitely would not recommend.

Not been to a harvester for years. Lovely surprise. So clean, very happy staff and great food too. Salad bar very fresh. Our waiter Owen was on the ball, charming, knowledgeable and got all our complicated drinks and meals correct. Definitely will be back and asking for him to serve us.

good place to stop, convenient parking, good selection of food and family friendly. it's a place to go if you hungry and have a lot of people to keep happy (kids, fussy eaters ) food turns up quick, and the cost is very reasonable, harder to find these days. staff are polite and friendly. it's a good safe bet. it also has a nice garden for the kids to play and run around. plus it's next to a nice park for an after meal walk.

Tasty food served by friendly staff in beautiful surroundings including ducks in the pond. The car park smells foul with filthy coloured fluids accumulating behind the kitchen & toilets where the soap dispensers are broken & empty! These need to be dealt with.

Very friendly staff our waiter Zaki was very professional and was a pleasure to be served by him. A credit to the company.The meal was excellent. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Was a nice atmosphere and we were not rushed in any way.

Had Christmas day dinner here with my wife and in-laws. Have to say every bite tasted fantastic. A lovely atmosphere. Hard working, friendly, helpful staff. Far exceeded my expectations, and will definitely do the same again next year.

Well the waiter was lovely, we had to wait a long time from bring seated to veing served either though it wasn't busy. When ordering a few things from the drink menu not in stock quite disappointing, was offered other things to be then to not in stock. Order the food it came quickly but the garlic bread starter warm and toasted outside but as i bit into it was freezing cold as if it was out of the freezer. Replacement was offered didn't really enjoy it. Rest of the food was pretty good and tasty.
