Such an underground place, cool music and crazy decor. Both The chicken burger and the halloumi and mushroom were very tasty. Good portion of cheesy fries, the cheese used is good quality and I wasn’t expecting it to arrive with a ton of raw onion on top (I’m normally not a big fan) but they were unbelievably good!! Huge selection of beers and love the fact they have also vermouth on the list. Burgers are not massive in size and a bit pricey. You also order via qr code and they charge you automatically service charge.

One of the OG London burger chains! The ambience is really cool in here, definitely a unique vibe, could not be for everyone but I love it. One of my personal favourite menu items are the fried pickles, they're so good. The onion rings are truly massive, everything is a very generous portion. The staff is always super friendly. They also have a bunch of veggie and vegan options available which is awesome! Both the chicken and the beef burgers are super delicious so if you're in the mood for a good, American style burger and sides, this is the place!

A pretty poor experience really. The food was OK, I quite liked my burger, put we were put inside on our own despite us requesting outdoor seating on the booking and the guy service was beyond rude. Really felt like he didn't want to be there, slamming our drinks on the table. I wouldn't go again

Moderately priced for what you get. Vibes were good and the service was prompt! Most likely will go again, ESPECIALLY for the fried pickles. Definitely recommend to try out! Only downside is the place is very dimly lit which I found quite annoying ~_~

Proper burger, tasty fries and good lager. Nothing more to wish. Additionally the space has a great atmosphere. Service was excellent.

Killer burgers, cool decor. The Dead Hippie was fab if you like a Big Mac, but want something of immeasurably better quality.

In a nutshell; posh decent hamburger restaurant plus service charges. Me and my lady had chicken wings, cheeseburger, onion rings and regular fries. We enjoyed the meal in general but I have found the prices are high. Cheeseburger is delicious but greasy, and the size is okay, the burger patty meat quality is fine. Overall it is 4/5 burgers can't say it's best. The chicken wings are expensive and the portion is okay, 9 pcs per meal. The sauce makes the difference, the wings are tasty however as I said it's expensive. Onion rings £5. This would be the most expensive onion rings I had because my wife likes onion rings but it's flipping expensive. The regular fries are regular fries, however you must pay extra on top of the burger to have chips with your burger. Who invented this expensive pricing strategy of selling chips extra I don't know but I hate it every time I order. Do I recommend the place? I don't know it's expensive.

Relaxed vibe. Maybe because of the time of year. Good variety of beers and food through the app. If you like dirty messy burgers with a dark tarantino vibe this is the place!

I have been a customer of MeatLiquor for a very long time and till now all the experiences have been flawless. But tonight this changed in a deplorable way. We have made an order on UberEats and: 1. The burgers were EXTREMELY small, like a sad McDonalds burger. 2. The Dead Hippie was a super small plain burger with just patty, cheese and pickles. Prices the same as usual, not the burger that I paid £12 for. Plus, when I called to complain, the manager said they are too busy at that moment to deal with that and that I should complain through UberEats, as they can not be bothered.

Awesome spot. Cool underground feel with edgy artwork and great alternative music. Food came out fast and was delicious. Very interesting menu. Friendly prompt service. Overall one of my favorite new spots in London. Worth a visit.

I had the '1924' burger with a side of the Xmas menu Sprout Slaw. Although the burger looked like a wobbly mess, looks are deceiving and it was the perfect balance of taste between the tasty patty, blue cheese and crispy shallots. Sprout slaw was a nice light compliment

Always love it here. The food, the service, the atmosphere and the music playlist make this a go to burger joint in North London

Really cool hidden gem! A bit confusing to get to at first but very worth it. The food and drinks are good, the staff was very accommodating and nice! A major bonus is the atmosphere and the vibe of the place. Would go again!

Used to be one of my favourite! Burgers had become more salty lately, that they used to be.Although still great atmosphere and set up.

Best burger in London! Recommend the monkey fingers and a dead hippie burger. If you love burgers, and you haven’t been here yet, you need to get yourself down to meat liquor. This place is great for catching up with friends, has a very cool and relaxed vibe and always with a great playlist on the go! Get Shazam ready!

Everything was great. Amazing fries, deep fried pickles and great house beer. Hippie Burger wasn’t that good since buns are too chewy and sticky. Can’t give it less than 5 stars because everything else including service was brilliant!

What's to say about this super cool hangout? I've visited twice now, once midweek and once on a Sunday afternoon, both times were excellent. In a nutshell, chilled vibes, THE very best "dirty" burgers served by super helpful & smiley staff. Will most DEF be back without a doubt. 5 * right across the board.

Now, this might seem a little unfair.. staff amazing, service amazing, atmosphere - great (it was early so pretty quiet).. BUT, what has happened to the monkey fingers? What has happened to the wings? I did ask (without complaining) and apparently people wanted something a little healthier when eating wings... I'm sorry, it contradicts what the Meat Liquor is about, they were not crispy, they were whole?? I mean they tasted alright but I could make 10 portions at home for a fiver.. these are not the wings I remember.. then the monkey fingers, they no longer represent monkey fingers.. more like chicken clusters... Sorry guys, I come to eat the devil's food - people shouldn't come to a place like this if they want to eat healthily.. I just don't get it.. Anyway.. it was good, just a shame because I specifically came for wings and fingers.

Meat liquor is always consistent whichever one you got to. Excellent food and quick service. Attentive and friendly staff. Tis particular ML was hidden behind the high street. Highly recommended.

Cannot rate this place highly enough. Best burgers in London without a doubt. Every time we visit the food is top notch, never a drop in quality. Service is fantastic and we still feel just as welcome now we are turning up with a two year old in tow!

I've been to this place several times. Burgers are really good, so I was happy to see they delivered to mine, but...£5 for each of these? Robbery. Portions were beyond small. Never again Meatliquor

Tasted like McDonalds which isn't a bad thing but overpriced. Ordering system with the QR code was terrible

  • 5/5 Ed M. 1 year ago on Google
Great burgers, fast service and fun decor. It is also very good value if you eat at lunch time. Only complaint is that being served burgers on a single tray isn't very practical. Otherwise I couldn't really fault it.

  • 1/5 R M. 1 year ago on Google
Ordered for delivery and complained when there was no sauce with the Mac and cheese, hoping to get at least a partial refund. Was told that the sauce is "free" and therefore not my problem. It's like getting wings and they're missing the blue cheese sauce, or ordering sweet and sour chicken balls and not getting the sauce with that, a cheeseburger without the cheese. It's part of the meal and without the sauce you're not getting the actual thing and flavours you wanted. What's the point of me ever ordering again if it may just be missing the cheese, the dips, the blue cheese sauce or whatever else is supposed to be part of the whole package?

Food was served on 2trays for 5 of us,made it a little awkward as the table was quite small. Delicious burgers and drinks though. Nice decor. However 2 things made it a disappointing trip..manager rang me while we were eating to see if I still wanted the table, and the toilets were extremely dark, not great for those with sight/mobility issues.

No complaints with the burgers and they are halal. Got the chilli chicken cheese burger. Getting a 3 as the service wasn’t the best went on a lunch time when it was super quite yet waited around for a while as no one served in end had to go in and ask , food also take ages to come in terms off food no complaints!

"interesting" decor, but you know this already if you have been to any of these Meat-something joints. The food is great quality US style burgers. Probably some o the best buffalo wings I have found in London.

  • 3/5 Manu M. 1 year ago on Google
The place looks amazing five stars for the decor but the food is lacking flavour. We ordered many different burgers but none of them had any flavours that were standing out. Unfortunately not as great as it Looks. The chips were nice to eat

I really loved this place!! My first time coming here. I had the dead hippie burger, siracha fries and mac and cheese with the surfer on acid cocktail. Fresh, tasty, and well prepared. Reasonable prices and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Also worth noting is that each toilet cubicle has its own wash basin and hand dryer, which is so impressive!!! The music was on point too!!! I will definitely be back!!!!

Food incredible. Service even better. Great music. Lorenzo was particularly attentive, really enjoyable to see the friendly relationship between staff. Made myself and my partner feel very relaxed and homely. Will definitely be returning.

Average and over hyped. Service was great and vibe were nice. Ordered the Halloumi and Mushroom burger and Cluster Cluck chicken burger. Both were normal and ate it because was hungry.

Had really nice food here, service was great. Until the end we were ordering our cabs home sitting at the table and we saw 2 rats run across the restaurant floor, will not be returning to this particular meat liquor.

What a great place for a bite to eat! Went here with some friends and loved everything. The decor was amazing and the toilets slightly trippy, the staff were very friendly and welcoming and there was a great music choice too. Sam was great and very good with his recommendations and the food was served very quick. Hats off to the chef on amazing grub and the rest of team on making it memorable. Definitely plan to come back.

Really nice Meatliquor away from the main streets. Delicious food and drinks and decent portions but not over filling! Staff were very friendly. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

  • 3/5 Yannis L. 2 years ago on Google
The burgers are very tasty as are the chips. However the buffalo wings tasted reheated and the chicken fingers were very soggy and very sweet. The onion rings and fried pickles were super greasy which left a sickly taste. Basically I would rather order 2 burgers than sides.

  • 4/5 Vix N. 2 years ago on Google
Nice place, okay food but the vegetarian options didn’t wow. Probably better if you’re meat eater. All ordering as far as I was concerned was online and came in okay time, service seemed pleasant when involved. For sure will give another chance, drink selection was great!

  • 4/5 Kevin A. 2 years ago on Google
Excellent burgers, good fries. It's tucked away down an alley off Upper St so wasn't busy. Maybe that's why we were constantly being asked if everything was OK by multiple staff who had little to do. Ordering and payment is via phone app.

MEATliquor is always amazing and never disappoints. Super juicy and flavoursome burgers and sides. The blue cheese dip is to die for. Cocktails are super good, usually go for a Game Over but changed it up this time for a Surfers on Acid and the waiter gave me tips on how to best enjoy it (drinking 101). Gr8 time gr8 food gr8 drinks.
