This is a superb neighbourhood pub. Recommended to come here by the Landlord of the nearby (equally superb) Victoria. Many thanks to him! Decor is dark wood panelling & floors, booths, tasteful memorabilia, with out front seating. Great selection of ales & craft beers and friendly staff. What’s not to love! Another gem in an area that is quite mixed.

Excellent classic British pub. Great service. Cold selection of nice ales and lagers, wine etc. Lovely publican and staff. Friendly patrons. Great spot to relax and enjoy. Highly recommend a visit.

Always a great place when near Hyde park/Oxford Street area. Generally one of our favourite stops for group meetings. Friendly service and decent selection of beers. Not much of a kitchen but you can get stuff from around. Plenty of screens to see cricket or rugby or other sports. Love it.

Classic pub vibes, delicious homemade pies with a pub and pint for £10 deal. The lighting was a bit more Sainsbury's than romantic pub but can't really complain. Amazing, friendly service. Highly recommended.

One of the great backstreet local pubs of London. The way Londons Pubs should be. Very much worth the visit for a quiet, relaxed, ale or two.

This is old school. A pub like pubs used to be. Lots of ales to choose from. I didn't eat as they actually don't do food except for three types of crisps. Nevertheless, I love the place. Highly recommended.

Nice proper old skool pub in Central London. Good mix of locals and passers by. Didn't have sport on when I visited but enjoyed the music anyway

I just dropped in for a quiet drink. It was Saturday midday-ish and I appreciated being able to sit quietly outside. I live locally so always looking for a quiet haven. The barman was very welcoming- important if you are a woman on your own.

Great out of the way pub. Corner spot with outside seating. Tables inside a large and inviting. Large TV's in every corner so you don't miss a game or a race. Good beer choices on tap and pull. Friendly and pleasant staff always ready with a quick pour. As always, the lav is downstairs. 😁

Cozy and friendly pub that’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. Went there to watch the football match and it was an excellent choice. Friendly staff. Plenty of TVs to watch the action from anywhere in the pub. Will definitely go back.

Visited yesterday TWICE!! Once in the afternoon with my friend and then later in the night with a couple friends. Such a great pub, good beers and nice bar keeps. The atmosphere is great and we had a good time.

Brilliant little pub with a great selection of beers (the most important part). Very friendly staff and locals - made our stay in London a lot more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend giving it a look if you're in the area.

Great local pub, good atmosphere, very friendly staff. I travel a lot, so have had opportunity to visit here for a pint on several occasions. Always enjoy talking with the staff and locals, make you feel at home. Good selection of beers, has plenty of options from British cask ales to modern IPAs which should satisfy most everyone. No cash…card only. Only irritant is the cashless electronic “tipping”, which you can do at anytime with a small electronic device on the bar. My irritant is that I was told by one of the staff that the management/owners of the bar take a percentage, as does the business who actually supplies the tipping device, leaving what’s left to the staff….seriously!! Hint…leave a cash tip on the bar! Would I go there again…most definitely! Would I recommend…absolutely!

Not a bad place but the service is very slow and not considered. Ordered a Guinness, barrel needed changing, no problem I’ll wait. Eventually I see other people being served Guinness and state so to bar staff and get told ‘be with you in a minute’. Wouldn’t normally moan but after waiting 15 mins I didn’t get time for another.

It's a nice friendly boozer that I used to use when I worked across the road. Plenty of beer choice and not too expensive for London. I think they have sky sports too.

An average London pub offering only the basic drinks and mixers. Very rude bar staff, who will not be willing to serve you after certain hours, due to their prejudice towards the bar patrons. Very dirty bathrooms and tables as well. Would not recommend for your first visit to London.

Great pub. No pretence, just good ale and a true London pub feel.

Decent after-work pub - not a huge range of beers and sometimes they do pies. Staff are friendly and prices are around average for the area

A great little pub with a warm welcome from friendly staff, a dozen beers and ciders to choose from that are changed regularly, but none of your run of the mill drinks( fosters and the like ). All set in a grade 1 listed building.

My pie came completely burned out, literally not possible to eat. Not a great selection of ales. P.S. after reading the reply: Yes I ate it cause I needed to eat something, and it was late to wait more or go to some other place. Nobody came to check how I was doing. And I actually complained to one of your staff at the end, she just said she was sorry, and nothing more. Anyway. I left my response so you take care of your customers better next time.

Lovely pub, excellent beer and you couldn't meet a nicer more helpful bar maid than Bella on a Saturday night, but don't ask her the football results.

Witnessed the bar staff trying to fight patrons who were simply trying to finish their drink. They were sat outside and were aggressively attacked by the bar staff. I’m sure there will be a response from the pub with some attempt to rationalise what happened, however we witnessed the guests being attacked without reason by the bar staff. Please do not visit this pub. We were scared by the staff, the poor people just trying to drink there.
