I stopped at the Hereford Arms on a Sunday for aperitif. My experience was lovely. Cosy, warm and well kept pub with good selection of drinks and traditional food menu! My aperol spritz 🍹was fantastic ☺️. I left happy! Thank you! I'll be back and thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely lovely pub that gives a country/homely feel in the centre of Kensington! We had the specials of the day and they were gorgeous! The Fish was perfectly cooked in both dishes and the sauces and veg were beautiful paired with the fish. Definitely would come back here for food again and for chilled drinks.

I should say it's a very nice place and definitely far better than a Pub 😂, so I don't want to call it a pub. The food menu is very good. I went there for a quick working meal on a rainy day. They served me fast and no fuss that I don't order any beers or drinks. I only wish if the food was bit warm, possibly hard act with the cool climate. I ordered the special of the day lamb it was amazing. Hats off the the staff and well done and keep up. I loved it.

I love this pub, its probably my favorite pub in Kensington area of London. The food is great and also very consistent. A nice selection of cocktails and ales as well. Very cozy dining area. Pet friendly. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I have visited atleast 5 times and each time is just as good. I have even started booking my hotels in this area just to go to the hereford arms.

Great roast on a Sunday with a great atmosphere of a pub. The nut roast option was super tasty (not sticky as most nut roasts are) with great roasted veg and potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. The crumble was well spiced but the custard wasn't great, almost as thin as milk and lumpy. Service was very fast and food came out quickly. We reserved the table for 2 a week before for 5:30pm and the restaurant was full. You could order the dinner menu on the drinks side too. Dog friendly.

The service was great and so was the food. 1200 Sunday, they filled up very quickly.

Our second visit to our friends local; The Hereford Arms. The reason for the second visit was the exceptional quality of the food and fantastic atmosphere from our first visit. Full of locals (Chelsea were playing and it was match day but was neither rowdy nor boisterous) Eight of us dinner for lunch and dishes ranged from Sunday roasts with the usual meat suspects. Decent selection of drinks and good food selection. Service was friendly and attentive although every so slightly slow. This could be excused due to high volume of people. This place was packed on a glorious Sunday afternoon. We will of course be returning.

Can’t recommend this place enough. Staff are super friendly, the interior vibe is cozy and it’s just perfect to have a dinner with friends and relax after a long work day. Food wise I’d recommend trying the beef cheeks👌🏻and to share the raspberry crumble. Next time I’ll try the famous sunday roast surely

My visit started out awkward as the hosted who seated me didn’t tell me walks in have to go up to the bar to order. Anyhow I came for the Fish & Chips and they were tasty. There was a hint of mint in the peas, sappers in the tartar sauce which were nice touches. The batter on The fish was just right with rock salt sprinkles on the side.

Had my first ever Sunday roast in The Hereford Arms and it was amazing! I tried the 'Dry-aged sirloin of Owton's beef', veggies were perfectly cooked, the meat was tasty and the yorkshire pudding was so fluffy, I definitely recommend. The staff is also super nice.

In the midst of South Kensington, this pub services a lot of the hotels in the area. Despite that dubious honor, this is not a tourist trap featuring overpriced and uninspired fare. I’m not an expert on fish and chips, but I know good food, and the fish and chips here are about as tasty as you can imagine. A London local might know better, but I’d be surprised to find it. The batter is flaky and crispy and the fish fills the plate. If you’re looking for a dish that wears the the fish and chips badge honorably, I imagine there are few better options. There are also numerous traditional English pub dishes here to try and if I’d had more time, I’d be eager to try them. The beer is excellent as well! Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

Fish and chips were amazing! The burrata was okay but that really isn't the reason we chose this place. We chose this place because I had an intense craving for fish and chips and this pub did not dissapoint. The wine was great too, they have a decent selection of wines. The interior decoration was nice too, very clean.

Stopped in for a roast with some friends. We ordered and pork and beef amongst us and unfortunately it wasn’t the best any of us have had. Portion size was fairly generous. Nice pork crackling. However, It was mostly let down by the pork and beef being dry/chewy, also didn’t appreciate the pork being slavered in apple sauce. Looking at the positive reviews posted by others, I would hazard a guess that arriving slightly later in the day (around 4pm) we didn’t get to sample the roast at its best. Overall okay, but wouldn’t risk again late in the day.

Fish and chips were too oily. Other dishes' portion sizes were too small for my taste, had to go out and eat again someplace else. Aside from that it has an excellent atmosphere, loved the decor and it's a good place to go have a drink in, will be coming back for pints.

Perfect place for an easy and authentic dinner in South Kensington. We didn't have a reservation but the staff made sure to arrange a table for us. Food was extremely delicious - especially the toffee pudding was a 10/10. It also seemed as if the place is very popular under locals - we really felt as if we were part of the London community. Highly recommend!

This was a first time visit- and the first place we stopped to eat after a long flight to arrive in London! Let’s just say, it was so good we ate here the last night in London as well, just really like the vibe-atmosphere etc.

After a day of museum visits, this was a welcome respite. A quick Google search presented the Hereford Arms as a highly rated option and worth the light stroll! The atmosphere, service, and food were excellent!

Elegant and quiet pub for those who prefer a pleasant atmosphere. Lunch was fantastic and much more than the regular pub food. Nice location to have lunch after visiting the Museums.

Delicious and crispy haddock! My first ever classic fish and chips while visiting London. Pub was comfortable and a cool environment. Recommend a visit!

Busy pub with decent food and good drinks. Party of 3 needed reservation. Saw people being turned away as the evening rolled and the pub filled (7pm Tuesday). Adequate selection of starters, mains and dessert. By the time we had seated some starters and mains had sold out. Additional dishes of the day were listed on boards. Food was fresh and balanced, individual elements coming together in well thought flavour compositions. Pork belly was adequate, but skin / crackling was not crisp. A chewy demerit to otherwise fine food. Drinks are better than the meals, with cocktails particularly outstanding. Bar staff were tentative and managed the busy clients well. Noisy and lively atmosphere but good to meet friends.

We were a large family group. The staff were friendly and easy to ask questions of even though they were busy that day. The food was a good selection, small but tempting menu. Prices are pretty standard for a london pub, not cheap, but good value I would say. We had a lovely time, would come again when I am in the area

We were in the area and it had been recommended... great choice. It was busy but not objectionably so. Staff were friendly and helpful. Fish and chips was excellent and a very pleasant pint. Decent value too.

Surprisingly bad Lack of consistency between staff. One told us to take a seat and order food at the bar - which we did. The table behind us had table service When the food came, the waiter forgot cutlery and said he would bring it. Five minutes later we saw him serving someone else, having clearly forgotten to do so instantaneously. We had to ask his colleague No one topped up water throughout the food I had the roast pork... swimming in thick gravy (tasted like granule), despite this it was incredibly dry. The dryness can probably in part be explained by the fact it took 40 minutes to come. Yorkshires looked good but were burnt 2 stars because the decorations were alright

It’s weird how some reviewers said about the friendliness of the staffs feel like in a countryside pub. I didn’t feel like that? They were just alright. But the scotch egg I had was nice. Martinis nice as well. Wish they have some biscuits with the tea tho.

We were very surprised with how good the food is, the steak was one if the best I have eaten, juicy full of flavour cooked to perfection and came with a very nice salad, the service was excellent very attentive. We have eaten in some the best restaurants around London and would say that this pub offers a high quality meal that would rival some of the best... excellent value for money. Top marks..we will definitely eat there again

It’s a lovely atmospheric place for a Sunday roast. My beef was a bit too chewy, but otherwise the food was decent.

Pub in posh part of Kensington opposite Hereford Gardens - unsurprisingly drinks are dear. My tiny 20ml bottle cost £9.50! The food menu is an eclectic mix of signature dishes and club sandwiches for lunch. I can recommend the chickpea salad.

One of the best steaks ever. Soft yet well cooked. I must share this: I was in quite a foul mood and decided on going to a restaurant to have some comfort food and oh! How the food (taste) comforted me! Not to mention the kind staff in there - such friendly, kind, caring people. Overall loved the whole experience! Must try.

Okay pub, it's not very cosy inside, I feel like it could be better arranged seating wise. Prices are a little steep. Good range of food and on tap beer. The staff were really lovely.

Been here a couple times when in the area. Both times were great. Really nice staff. Service was quick and the food was very good. Nice atmosphere and just down the road from the tube station. Not far to walk to the natural history/science and V&A museums. Will definitely return

I don't usually go for Sunday roast, but glad I did. Roast chicken was excellent and good selection of beers too.

Liked it so much I came for lunch two days in a row. Great atmosphere, delicious food and attentive service (they even surprised my friend who had a cold with a warm cup of tea with honey, on the house). Fish & chips to die for, excellent chicken roast and desserts - especially the chocolate marquise. Will be coming more often.

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch here at the weekend. The service and atmosphere were lovely and the menu was perfect with options for everybody - classic pub food and something special if you want something a bit extra. My partner had the fish pie while I had the rack of lamb. We finished off with the chocolate marquise to share (though I could've had the whole thing!) It's also very dog friendly.
