Against
the
stereotype
remarks
in
the
Net
about
the
services
of
Ms.
Iswaree
Deshmukh
for
Physiotherapy
treatment
to
patients,
I
regret
to
differ
partly
and
here
are
my
down
to
earth
observations
that
may
keep
future
costumers
aware.
Ishwaree
undertook
to
provide
physiotherapy
treatment
at
home
for
my
wife
who
had
undergone
surgery
for
Femur
(thigh
bone)
replacement
at
Hiranandani
Hospital.
She
suggested
45
sessions
of
therapy
at
home@
Rs.2000/-
fee
per
session
in
advance
so
that
“She
can
feel
committed
and
assign
time
in
her
busy
schedules”.
Rs.90,000/-
was
paid
immediately
by
cheque.
Initially
she
gave
a
couple
of
sessions
of
45
to
40
mins.
duration
which
gradually
shrunk
to
30,
then
20
minutes,
only
to
be
casual
in
later
days.
Sad
part
of
the
therapy
was
that,
her
visits
slowly
became
irregular
both
in
Time
and
Days,
at
times
keeping
us
waiting
for
her
arrival.
We
two
old
people
at
home,
both
above
80s
and
diabetic
keep
our
lunch
at
bay
to
wait
for
her
usual
arrival
.
Her
usual
plea
was
:
“Held-up
in
traffic”,
“Car
got
punctured”,
“Had
to
go
to
Breach
Candy
Hospital
“or
“It
was
too
late
in
evening
to
come”
etc.
Irregularity
in
visit
was
gaps
of
2,
3,
5
days,
even
a
week
as
recorded
on
a
wall
calendar
marked
P
and
A.
“Irregularity
of
any
kind
of
therapy
is
harmful”-
when
pointed
out,
she
would
say
“She
is
busy
and
normally
do
not
take
home
assignment”.
What
she
meant
was:
she
was
obliging
the
patient,
not
providing
service
for
which
“She
was
committed”.
This
irregularity
in
visits
ended
up
in
confusion
in
her
record
of
number
of
sessions
completed
and
resulted
in
not
completing
the
committed
45
sessions.
On
enquiry,
she
never
responded.
I
agree
and
also
have
observed
that
she
is
a
competent
Physiotherapist
and
potentially
can
deliver
the
goods
but
as
a
professional
worker
she
lacks
ethics,
punctuality,
regularity
and
professional
morals
for
a
dedicated
humane
service
which
is
needed
for
patients
in
need
of
physiotherapy.
Her
service
is
more
commercial
(money-minded)
with
zero
dedication.
Unfortunately
I
found
her
a
bit
arrogant-resilient
to
suggestion,
immature
and
egocentric.
The
strings
of
Diploma
and
Certificates
she
is
attired
with
are
sadly
decorative
in
nature.
I
wish
she
learns
from
her
clinical
experience
in
future
and
become
a
dedicated
Physiotherapist
to
serve
the
patients
and
people
of
this
country.
With
best
wishes
to
her.
