Unethical and unprofessional billing practices and lack of co ordination in internal departments. Unless and until urgency is there don't prefer to go there. Individual practicing doctors have good expertise but hospital management is pathetic as well as totally unethical and money oriented only.

THIS is today Jan 6th 2022. my 2nd visit to the place #suryahsopital below are the pictures of my first visit from few days back for my child. I have never cam across such disgusting mangmnt both time our waiting time was more then 1hr just for consultation. U can see the time mark on the receipt and the time we are still waiting. Extremely bad hospitality. Receptionists Sapna and Savita made me wait for more than half an hour and were extremely rude. Will never recommend this hospital to anyone.

The best hospital experience I had till date. My twins were in the NICU and I got amazing treatment and most importantly positive attitude from all the doctors, nurses and the staff. When my daughter was a week old I got her in emergency as she was not feeding. They kept her in the NICU the whole night under observation without charging me a penny, because the doctor said that they are not giving any treatment. Which hospital keeps someone under observation without charging?

Good facilities. Courteous and helpful staff. Doctors were helpful in making us understand the baby’s condition in the initial few days. Nurses took good care of my wife & baby. TPA & billing staff helped in ensuring cashless hospitalisation. Happy surprise was that hospital even decorated the doors of rooms with blue/pink balloons to signify birth of baby boy/girl.

Do not get admitted here the Air conditioners in all the rooms do not work. The staff too are aware of it. But are not bothered to get it repaired. Many patients suffering and suffocating. They have kept fans in all rooms. But windows cannot be opened, so stale air keeps circulating. This is a serious problem and it's sad the hospital is not interested in rectifying the same.

Consultation charges are way toooo high, it seems the hospital wants to cater only to celebs and the rich. Initial fees of Rs.1500 I paid for consultation for a particular Paediatric and came for follow up within 3 days and at reception again they asked for Rs.1500 for which I refused blankly and asked to speak to doctor as she had asked to come so soon for follow up. Then they reduced the charges to Rs.800/- which still i feel is quite high. Now I will definitely think twice before going to Surya.

It was a very homely feeling for us at Surya. The doctors, nurses, house keeping, diet, food etc everything has been amazing. Considering this is our first child, we were made very comfortable about each and every granular detail. Parenthood is a learning curve for us and we can proudly say that Surya team has been a very good teacher for us. We would highly recommend this hospital for the sheer care, hospitality and positivity this place imbibe.

Infra facilities are good, doctors/support staff competent. The core issue is lack of transparency in billing. At the end one feels like they take advantage of the vulnerability of a patient and try extract the most money they can.

Average hospital. Long queue and lethargic staff. Doctors are ok, but expect long wait, frustration and unpleasantness. Things to avoid - scan (suggest you do at a better place outside). Doctors dont turnup in time and assume average wait time of 3 hrs+ for a single visit. We spent 7 hours for doctor visit, scan and tedious admission process and nobody was giving clear guidance and help..

Nice hospital with courteous staff, best hospital for mother and baby. Best neonatal and NICU in the city. Their doctors and sisters are specialized in pediatric handles. I was admitted there from 14/5/2021 to 17/5/2021 under Dr. Vinita Salvi for prolapse of uterus. Doctors and staff take very good care of me. Canteen is also good. I was touched when Dr. Awasthi (founder of Surya hospital) came to each patient and check the new born babies and ask them to call if there is any problem. He is very down to earth. I was in the safe hands . This hospital is quite expensive and middle class people has to think twice before getting treated here. But I think if u talk to doctor or hospital management, they may give some discount. Doctor Vinita Salvi, Dr. Ami Mehta and Dr. Shilpa (anesthetic doc) are the best.

This is a below average hospital in terms of hospital stay and care. There are other better hospitals with more caring staff in the vicinity. The only saving grace is the doctors. Dr. Awasthi and Dr. Sonal are extremely patient and caring. Their diagnosis is very accurate. Horrible experience it was... My appointment was s heduled for 7.30 pm for 2 days(1 for check up and 2nd for sonography).. But Cudnt get myself checked up before 11.45 pm on both the days.. They even don't have that professionalism to even inform the patients about the delay... Such a nonchalant behavior is not acceptable.. Horrible hospital and staffs..

Worst hospital and my experience repeatedly has been very disappointing. I dont know why I have given one star technically there should be minus rating for these guys. The staff at OPD is very rude and are not trained well. I took my 9 month old daughter for her vaccination. My daughter was crying so loud and turned red even before she was given the shot, the environment was so frightening. There were 4 nurses holding her down and one doctor whose hand was shaking while administration the injection. The doctor was following the nurses instructions which was so surprising. Will never go back to Surya Hospital

My new born and wife, both, were really blessed to have had the support of this hospitals staff and their nurses. Had it not been for the nursing staff here, we would be absolutely clueless. Whatever be the time, the nurses were always available and helped us in whatever we needed. The way they took care of the baby and the mother made us feel at home and relaxed. Great locality, Great facilities but no good doctors. Dr. Awasthi was a kind hearted man but without enough of knowledge. I also found something fishy at the billing counter, although I paid 1500+100 in cash but the lady at the counter gave me receipt of 1300 cash and rest she mentioned as a bank transfer. Seems they are trying to fool tax authorities by keeping 300 bucks aside. Please do check your receipt. Overall I didn't find this place and doctors helpful for my little one. They might have better facilities for new borns like incubators NICU but consultancy sucks.

Surya hospital Santa Cruz has the best nicu.my son Isaac was very critical at birth.Dr Kabra and his team are exceptionally great at their work.Dr Kabra is the most humble and has lots of positivity while he discusses the infant's daily process. We had to operate our son for a dislocation of the hip recently. I found Surya Hospitals to be very good. Their staff are polite and friendly, the food served to the patients are good. The nurses and other support staff are also good at their job. I hope to never visit them again since hospitals are not the place to frequent. My only request is to somehow provide better connectivity between their 2 buildings for patients opting for a specific room.

A brief visit to meet Dr. Parikshit Pekhale was our reason to visit the hospital. The hospital is very lively, clean and colorful. They have a comfy waiting area with a little snack counter as well as a play area for kids. What impressed us the most was the breastfeeding booth at the entrance for those who ate uncomfortable feeding their child in public. A special shout out to Dr. Pekhale who made us feel at ease and educated us about our issues with some very interesting examples rather than just giving us a prescription.

My Wife was admitted here for Delivery. Nurses are extremely supportive and polite. Rooms are decent. Doctors are good. If you are expecting first child and you dont know anything then this is the place you should look for.

It is a women & child care hospital. Adult specialties (like orthopaedics) are being added, but it essentially remains a pediatrics centre. Support for geriatrics is limited, holistically speaking. Certainly not the first choice place for adult patients. 4 stars for adult orthopedics. 2 for overall geriatrics. Average 3.

The Team has Truly built a Heaven in Surya for Baby & Mom. Each person at Surya - right from the security guard to receptionist, to ward boys, nurses, accounts team to of course the Doctors , is so genuine, kind & empathetic. Dr Ami Mehta Surti at Surya Hospital has been a wonderful and the core support system throughout my mother's, Sudha Shetti's surgery. She was advised a hysterectomy years ago yet somehow we didn't feel confident enough to endure it. Dr Ami was patient, considerate, reassuring and made herself available to all our grievances and concerns. She ensured we didn't undergo any hiccups with admission, procedure, administration and payments, more importantly the surgery and finally the recovery. She gave me and my family a lot of confidence and assurance. She livens every room she enters. God bless her and her energy! I also want to acknowledge Nurse Naina for her dedicated service during the night shift and the attendants Suman and Madhuri for so much care and concern. Surya Hospital has organised the vaccination drive for the Precautionary/ Booster shot for senior citizens very well. I had taken 3 senior citizens today for their boaster dose. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The registration and verification process was very smooth. Good arrangements even after the vaccination was given. There was a good waiting / observation area where the dose recipients could sit comfortably for 30-40 minutes. The entire process was very smooth and well arranged!

Knee ligament surgery went well and very smooth.. didn't feel the pain much after the surgery too.. nurse came in very frequently to check the status and health condition.. medicines were given on a timely manner.. food service was also very good.. room was clean and very hygienic.. My doctor, Dr. Ami Mehta, was the most reassuring, patient, informative doctor I could have asked for. She was readily available for any questions and really took her time with me during our appointments. She was always on time, I rarely had to wait for her. It felt as if she was the 4th person in our pregnancy - my husband, the baby, myself and Dr. Ami. The delivery process + post care is unmatched. The team of doctors that visit post delivery were extremely professional, warm and sat with us until all our doubts were cleared. The nursing staff was so reassuring and encouraging. One can see the level of care and love they give towards your baby, and helping you heal for the duration of your stay with them. The administrative procedures as well are smooth - billing, booking, birth certificate application. The hospital is there for you every step of the way. Thank you Surya - I wish there were more than 5 stars, that's really not enough.

I had my surgery under the supervision of Dr. Nanavati and it was so smoothly done. Thank you for comforting me when I was most scared about my surgery. Great doctors. Caring staff. Top notch facilities. Both our babies were delivered in Surya. The elder one was in the NICU for a few days. We also admitted him again to Surya when he was facing some issues as an older child. The kids and mother were consistently cared for during all our experiences. Based on our experience, we'd highly recommend the hospital. Our pediatrician in Chembur also recommends Surya if and when hospital admission is required for our kid(s).

I’ve been to Surya hospital in the last 2 years for minor surgery, procedure, scans etc. The washrooms on the ground floor are very badly maintained. It’s foul smelling, most jet sprays are broken, garbage bins are always overloaded and smelly. We have complained to the staff at the reception area but no action has been taken. Some nurses are very good and experienced but some are trainees and they don’t know how to measure blood pressure, connect IV lines properly, and not well updated on patients care. Overall I’m happy with Surya hospital but would seriously appreciate if management took notice of these issues and did something about it, before it’s too late.

We were new to Mumbai had to come to hospital due to a mid air emergency with my son when we were to travel to San Francisco. Hospital staff and doctors took good care of our son very efficient team and staff. Hospital staff totally understood our problems of accommodation because we had our elder daughter with us. Extremely well organised admission and discharge process, with clear steps and support from the team. Room are well equipped to have a good recovery and stay. Very clean too. Cleaning happens min twice in a day or at request. The staff is amazing. Very average . Hospital stay is costly and good interiors to make child friendly .My little brother had a surgery at 8 am and the doctors came till 11:30 am also . Surgery is well done but after that they delayed to give painkillers which was 9 pm but gave it on 11 pm . Just delay in everything

Please do not go here for any sonography. The room is very okay and the doctors are not up to the mark for this investigation. The report which they gave us , itself has goof up as scan shows the overy size 8 cc and report shows it 10.5cc. the written report is completely wrong and don't match anything with current problems. Please don't waste money by going here and get the wrong report.

I would suggest every expectant mother to deliver at Surya because of the hassle free delivery experience. In house Doctors and nursing staff was really up to the mark so new mothers do not need to worry at all about their health and the baby simultaneously. The punctuality of your care or reminding you to feed the baby was up to mark by nursing staff. Other consulting services like lactation, nutritionist etc were also helpful. And my sincere thanks to my gynaecologist Dr. Karuna Goyal for her valuable guidance throughout my Pregnancy and delivery to other doctors as well which made my recovery quick n easy eel within the duration of my hospital stay. Services are 5/5 but I give 4 stars just that billing practices can be more elaborative and transparent.

Extremely warm staff especially Suchita Kumtakar who helped us navigate effortlessly through our delivery process and the best doctors of our country are here under one roof. Dr. Avasthi is the owner and one of the warmest people you will ever meet. He is a renowned paediatrician and always positive and cheerful and will make you feel at home. Dr. Vinita Salvi is by far the best gynaecologists I have ever come across who delivered our first son Kiaan and now our second son Ivaan Sachar. Her support staff Dr. Yojna Raja is fabulous and very helpful. Dr. Sonal Saste who is a lead Pediatric here at Surya has been Kiaan’s paediatrician since birth. They share a special bond and are more of friends than patient and doctor. We never struggle getting him to surya as he has many friends here ☺️ Overall the best experience anyone can have during the miracle of child birth. Thank you to everyone at the hospital for all your love and support ??.

Good behaviour by doctors, admin and nursing staff only. Bad for natural delivery style. With my wife's experience: The natural delivery room was without labour stirrups and basic curtains! The delivery bed for natural delivery is made of steel without any cushioning! Eventually we were left with no option but to go for cesarean delivery. Money matters more out here.

A really good hospital especially for deliveries of kids. My aunt who delivered her twins a year ago said she had the best support she could expect.. good job as a happy mother means happy kids which ultimately makes for a happy and healthy nation! :)

Yesterday we have taken 2nd dose of vaccine in surya hospital Santacruz. I was Most painful injection ever, only due to rough handling of both the nurses. Rest part is good.

A special shoutout to Dr. Ganesh Nagrajan and Dr. Sumeet Shah, the best Onco surgeons with exceptional medical knowledge and skills. Hospital premise is clean and hygienic, prompt housekeeping staff and TPA(insurance desk) is too good with their services and quick response and procedure to enhance speedy discharge specially with cashless facilities. A special mention to Dr. Javed, Dr. Anushree and Dr. Shreyas for round the clock availability and post surgery recovery assistance. Thank you Sister Vrushali and Sister Madhuri(nursing staff) and Ravi and Rupesh(TPA desk) for your good service and assistance.

The worst centre for vaccination. Their new policy says that only if there are 10 ppl the vaccine would be provided. Unless they aren't 10 ppl for vaccination they will make u wait. It can go up to 2 hours. A very baseless and foolish policy. Even after paying 780 and Inspite of no crowd we have to wait. A vaccination centre must reconsider this foolish policy The in charge of the vaccination centre here must resolve this issue

BIG HUGE FRAUD! We went here to get my daughter's throat infection checked. What was done was an expensive blood test. The conclusions were zero, and the doctor did not check her throat once. Surya exemplifies what is wrong with Indian medicine. Zero bother on patient problems and 100% focus on earning money. Go here if you want zero diagnosis but want to pay out thousands.

NEVER GO TO SURYA HOSPITALS. Horrible. I delivered at Surya and while my obgyn and delivery part was handled well, The nurses and anaesthetist team screwed an IV drip on my left hand during my delivery and i ended up getting SEVERE swelling and nerve thrombosis. I had to have a bandage dressing on my hand for 15 days . It was entirely the hospitals fault because i ended up with an issue that i didn’t Even have in the first place. It was severe. I pray something like this doesnt happen to anyone. One of the drs, Dr Anirudh visited one of those days and on seeing the swelling … he was like “ lets do a small experiment” (i am quoting verbatim. He actually said that) He proceeded to take a syringe/an actual needle and poked several holes on my hand and then pressed the hand with an attempt to release the water out !!!! I mean… i was stumped. I kept asking if this is legit procedure. He totally was in EXPERIMENT MODE. Next day the swelling had worsened. Its cos of this HOSPITAL NEGLIGENCE that i had to spend and stay 2 days extra at Surya. Else i couldve been in an out!!! I not only spent extra money but the discharge delay/the discomfort and the pain and the risk of it all was just a very VERY bad experience. Pls never go to Surya Hospitals. They have a repute of being a good maternity specialty hospital but intrinsically they’re lax and how! Everything about my pre and post delivery was abs normal but this vein thrombosis was so severe that i am still taking anti coagulant injections twice a day. I would have sued but stopped myself because my obgyns are our friends too and took extra care. Also one of the meals i Recieved at the hosp on my day 3 post delivery HAD A FLY FLOATING on it. I gave a nice earful to the head admin and dietetics but i was too embroiled in my pregnancy and this hand swelling thing to take any further action. Overall I had high expectations from Surya but I WONT RECOMMEND THAT at all.

End to end amazing experience. I was apprehensive initially to plan my baby's arrival here. But so glad I did. - There is a dedicated POC. She helped to answer smallest of my queries before the D day - Great team of nursing staffs. Caring and always available for any help. - Multiple doctors visit daily and one can be rest assured that the baby is in safe hands

Surya Hospital is the best hospital for kids and women. I would like to specially mention the name of my gynaecologist, Dr. Ami Surthi. She's an amazing doctor who is very concerned about her patient. The way she makes the patient understand everything is appreciable. The whole staff is very nice and cooperative...

Surya is a premium hospital with nice clean rooms, amicable staff and an overall good experience for bringing your child into the world. Couple of areas of improvement, nursing staff response time can be better and the doctors on call should be more experienced. And a little lower commercial mindset will go a long way in delighting customers.

Stayed in the Deluxe room for 3 days after c section. The overall experience was good. The staff is very cooperative and helpful. The paediatricians, nurses, mosis, dieticians, lactation experts etc pay you visit and guide you. The cleaners come twice and clean the room. The food is sent for the patient timely. There might be a delay in service once in a while but that's absolutely not a problem. The only thing to take care is about taking information regarding the expenses in detail prior. Though there are no hidden charges but one must take that information beforehand right from the doctor charges to other minor details. Overall if you want a good experience, go for it.

We are extremely pleased and grateful to NICU Surya hospitals for their excellent care of our kid. Team of doctors, support staff, medical facilities, all of these are top class level and most probably the BEST available in India. Doctors in NICU are selfless to the extent that they hardly care about sleep and food when it comes to attending emergency or any other issue related to baby. We would strongly recommend SURYA Hospitals to all parents for the world class treatment and care of their kids.

Worst experience as Security and admin staff behaves inhuman and blindly follows some so called rules which are not mentioned in anywhere when we got our patient admitted. They want the ICU patient's relative to stay at the gates and not in the lobby only bcz it is for OPD at 1 am in the midnight. How do you guys expect this when you charge us into lakhs but u cannot have a simple support comforting a tensed family. Adding a pic of OPD where it is completely empty. The security created nuisance for n empty OPD.. this has happened between 1 am to 2 am, multiple times at midnight and even in the afternoon. Note - patient and family are staying beyond 20kms, however asked to move out at 1 am.

Delivering my baby here was a great experience. The staff and doctors were amazing and very helpful. I loved the services. Different units work very cohesively and we always had someone to help and answer our questions whenever needed. I would like to mention especially the nursing staff. As a young mother I did not have to worry about anything. I would recommend Surya hospital to all the expecting parents.

The services that I receive from Surya Hospital is excellent. Dr. Awasthi, Dr. neil, Dr. Jui and the staff are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my baby health and care. I would have no qualms in recommending them to friendly and friends.

The admin department is hopelessly bad the management is nt bothered about any service issues..although my wife is put up in a suite the management is nt bothered abt basic courtesy to ask if there r any issues.Doctors nurses and the medical staff is superb..overall management is very poor and they r nt bothered abt anything..
