It's a good silence place, near to the temple, where many people comes to pray. In talav there are many turtles, might be fishes, etc. Around a roadside you can find a talav. 10 minutes walking from Sion Railway Station.

The pond looks clean from above but after deeply observing the lake is filled with algae and garbage (especially flowers) the pond authority allows anyone to submerge the garbage into pond. The government seems to have neglected this place.

This is medium sized lake. It is located at Sion-Chunabhatti road. It is very popular place for Ganpati and Devi idols visarjan. People from Sion, Dharavi, Chunabhatti come here for visarjan. Some years ago it was very dirty. But now it is very well maintained, clean and peaceful place.

Sion Talab is the place of worship. God's and godess visarjan done here. In this talab number of fish, turtles, ducks there. There is lord Shiva's temple along with lord Ganesh , Godess and manymore. Temple has good structure and decorated and maintaining cleanness every time.

Good place to have walk by or spend some moment to feel fresh ...the place is in very close proximity to sion panvel highway..situated at Sion East...In all those who routinely travel on sion panvel highway and needs to visit a place like this but doesn't have much time could have some few minutes of their busy schedule spent here...This place lightens more during Ganeshotsav and Navratri...also there is a temple connected to this lake...
