It is a nice beach for family and friends. Morning walk and afternoon visit this place much better. Water sports are available on the beach. Enjoy. How to reach: Through a taxi/Auto, bus, own car. Parking is available near the beach. Beach water is not clear, muddy beach. Food court is available, security guard available at food court. You can enjoy the Mumbai local food here.

One of the most crowded beaches of Mumbai. Since this place is close to the largest suburbs of western mumbai, hence the crowd. The water here is kinda brownish. I wouldn't recommend anyone to swim here as the water here is not so clean

After Lockdown, the beach looks much cleaner than it was in 2020. Earlier it used to be super dirty now it feels good to be here with friends and family.

This beach is better than the one which is in front of sharukh khan's house. Not much crowded but the beach is populated. But a great time to spend just watching the waves from afar at night. People get mats and spend time with family and friends.

Very dirty beach.... As soon as you start moving towards the waves you'll feel like the pieces of plastics and other stuff are getting stuck in your feet. The sunset view is very good i should say. The food tasted not very good i should say it was moderate.

If you want to be at a silent place and enjoy the mesmerizing sound of waves this is the best place to visit. The morning and evening times are very pleasant. This beach stretches from Andheri all the way to Khar. This beach is often crowded near Ramada plaza. There are food stalls everywhere you go. Pav bhaji here is a must try. From the past two years the beach has been kept clean. There are many gardens with seating available inside. It's basically a lovers spot for couples but apart from this you can hangout with your friends and family. Many people do photoshoots here. The sunsets are the most beautiful thing you can see here.

It's been very clean in this Covid situation Juhu is an upmarket neighbourhood of Mumbai. It is most famous for the sprawling Juhu Beach. It is surrounded by the Arabian Sea to the west, Versova to the north, Santacruz and Vile Parle to the east and Khar to the south. Juhu is among the most affluent areas of the city and home to many Bollywood celebrities. The nearest railway stations are Santacruz, Andheri and Vile Parle on the Western Line and Harbour Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway. The nearest metro station is D. N. Nagar. There are two minor B.E.S.T bus depots in Juhu.

Very crowed place and lot of garbage nearby beach. Juhu chow patty is excellent lot of food options. Nearby stalls in beach doesn’t make you hungry, you rather enjoy this. Food Rates are somehow higher as due to tourist.

The beach is clean has good amount of sand and coconut trees. At the entrance there's a pavilion where there are food stalls with yummy fares. The only drawback is the water is dirty and murky. At the entrance of the beach it's very crowded. Walk farther towards the coconut trees and it's calm and peaceful

I had heard about this beach that it is not clean and all. But when i visited here recently, the beach was i can't say totally but was clean and beautiful. The govt. is taking steps for cleanliness but we people are the ones who throw garbage there. There are food options available but not that tasty. I visited here on Saturday evening, it was moderately crowded but that's what you expect on Saturday evening.

Juhu beach offers a great stretch of coastline but my experience was marred by the unfortunate state of the beach. The immense dirtiness, particularly the amount of plastic waste, prevented any possibility of stepping into the water. The beach was tainted with a displeasing smell due to the waste accumulation. Fortunately, the beach wasn't overly crowded during my visit. It's encouraging to know that the government is taking steps to clean up the mess, but it's vital for them to focus on preventing further dumping of waste into the sea. Despite its potential, the beach's charm is hindered by the debris, making it difficult to even dip our toes in the water.

Good beach for first timers but the beach stinks a lot. Plus all the foods that you can buy are from stalls which are overpriced, I mean 150 rupees for 1 plate of Pav Bhaji. I was also unable to find any stalls selling packaged foods like biscuits and chips.

Had an amazing experience, relived all the childhood memories. A lot of things have changed here . Beach is amazing as always with beautiful view . The weather was amazing when i visited. The only thing that I didn’t liked was the shopkeepers of the stalls who just keep on roaming around you and calling you to their stall. Else overall had an amazing experience.

This is one of the dirtiest beaches of Mumbai. But the government is taking time to make it a better place for visitors. Many people visit regularly to this beach due to its popularity. This is also a must go place in Mumbai.

Gr8 place. The best time to visit is at sunset. Try to visit on weekdays to avoid crowds. Clean beach, too many little shops of gifts and food stalls. Food prices are too high, compared to regular, you can avoid it by carrying your own food if possible. Also too many small food vendors for secondary options.

If you visited to Mumbai, and not visit to Juhu Beach then your trip was incomplete. Juhu beach is one of the iconic and most loved places in Mumbai, people usually visit with their family to enjoy the Subset and Sunrise. Now, Juhu beach authority was started the service of boat, paragliding and many more with nominal price. This place was always crowded and In this place you meet people from every Corner of city. I visit two times, first time with friend & Second time with family. Both time a enjoyed alot. Juhu beach there is so many photographers who clicked your photos and give you hard copy with nominal prices (likely Rs.50/-). Timing- 6 am - 11 pm

Excellent place to chill with friends or family. But food are very costly here. Because of the corona pandemic of 2020 water is clean now compare to earliar days . You also can take bath and enjoy in this ocean if you are not allergetic with salt water. You can also book a boat ticket to roam in this ocean which is ₹200. May be price can increase if you are reading this in future.

The place where I feel most comfortable is a place where I am calm. A place that is peaceful in its own ways. It is the place to go to get away from all my troubles. It is the one place where I could sit forever, and never get tired of just staring into the deepest blue I have ever seen. In fact, the repetitive sound and sight of waves promote a meditative state. That's why when we're at the beach, we feel unburdened, lighter, and this positively affects our mood The smooth and crashing waves of bright blue. The earthy and salty scents of the sea breeze. The tranquil sounds of the ocean and gulls. If you want to get out of your apartment for a bit, go to the beach for an amazing place to relax and reset.

It's good..But I'll urge people ( locals & tourists) to not litter it.. if one can pickup his/her trash and keep it clean from their own side m sure others will follow too.. The beach should be tidy besides good for leisure and evening strolls for peace of mind.. more over the fast foods are not upto the mark.. yes the Sweet Pan was indeed good.. but I feel the food stalls should pace up with the flavours .. a major work on..

Be careful with the stalls and the vendors who had put up their eatery shops within the beach. The beach is kept clean just couldn't find a free space due to thronging crowd which is inevitable. Apart from this, the beach is really special as I find an extended flat shore where the sea waves slowly grips on the flat shore wetting them and going aback. As I started with a note to be careful with shop keepers at the beach is that they are too persuading and even agressive in marketing their products. Being a first time visitor, didn't make up my mind to stay away from their wire netted skills. The quality of the food wasn't good about which they often had boasted talks. Must be conscious about the hygiene as well since unsure about the quality of scrapped ice used in many of the delicacies. They are known for looting your money since the food doest come under the bracket called value for money. The shops are driven by the name tag Juhu that is directly getting influenced on the cost of eatables. Beach is too reachable from the main road. Need not had to walk much to access the waters. In case you love bird feeding, keep some grains or puffed rice to get in groups. This makes your photo dream come true. Enjoy!!

It could be low.It could be high As long as it’s a destination.Who cares about its population? It could be on land.It could be in the sea. What a holiday that would be!You might’ve never been there You might’ve been there loads.Whatever the situation.Keep following the roads. You don’t even have to do that.Go run wild and free.If you keep following your dreams. You’ll be where you want to be.In this poem even the title, ‘Wild and Free’, does not tell you exactly what the poem is about. It simply implies a place somewhere you’ll be where you want to be. That place, discovered in the words of the poem, is the imagination. But there is more to this poem: Reading ‘between the lines’, so to speak, we discover that the author of this poem is a person with an open.

Go to for relaxing , can be crowded most of the times . But if you're lucky enough to be there when there are less people the beach is beautiful , the waves are soothing and the breeze would make you want to just sit there and enough the moment or take a stroll even if you aren't a walker . Less to none sitting arrangements so would recommend to take a mat or blanket if you're planning a visit without any bat or balls . Wouldn't recommend the stalls for eatables and food , bit overpriced and not too comfortable . Instead try some nearby cafes they're worth visiting.

Good place for photo shoot 📷 and great place to spend your time in enjoyment. Try the stalls nearby, and you would enjoy to roam around the beach with naked legs as it feels so much better when it's little bit wet and cold. I recommend you when ever you visit Mumbai, Your trip is waste if you not visit Juhu Beach.

It's one of the cleanest beach in Mumbai.... Nearby to Amitjis Big B House ..... Best beach in whole mumbai good and nice experience you can enjoy your weekend here with family and friends..... This beach is a very popular place in the city. It's mostly crowded on weekends, but due to covid the crowd was less this week. One would love to walk and spend time with family..... I would recommend you to specially visit in evening that sunset view no words to phrase. You can visit with family kids your loved ones. According to me you should bring your own tiffin, water bottles and all. There are toilets are available. Go and enjoy specially while evening..... Best to Hangout And just see the sunset . This place is so amzing . Bare feet walk on the cool sand so realxing...!!!👌👌

A very dirty beach can't even go till the waves there's a lone garbage before it that won't let you to the sea and even if you reach to it then no means because even the water is so dirty and full of garbage that your legs will constantly feel pieces of plastics hitting you and stick to your legs But anyways its peaceful to visit a beach, its quiet and calming experience every time you visit and also there are many shops where you can eat many beverages so you won't even need to bring something from your home

This is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. Beach is well maintained and clean but it depends on what time you visit. Mornings may be better than evenings from cleanliness perspective. Water sports activities are available and are operational as early as 7.30-8 am. It gets quite hot during the day especially in summer months so pls carry caps, shades and sunscreen. Plenty of eating options are available just at the entrance of the beach. A toilet block is also available at the beach. Note that there is no place to change clothes if you decide to take a dip in the sea. Weekends (evenings) and festive occasions the beach sees heavy crowds. Parking facility is available outside Ramada Plaza.

Juhu Beach Mumbai - Where Culture Meets the Sea My visit to Juhu Beach in Mumbai was a delightful blend of vibrant culture, stunning sea views, and the lively energy that defines this bustling city. As one of Mumbai's most iconic and beloved destinations, Juhu Beach offers a unique experience that encapsulates the spirit of the city. The first thing that struck me as I arrived at Juhu Beach was the lively atmosphere. Families, couples, and groups of friends gathered along the shoreline, creating a tapestry of colors and activities. The vendors selling street food and knick-knacks added to the bustling scene, offering a taste of Mumbai's vibrant street culture. The expansive stretch of golden sand against the backdrop of the Arabian Sea is a sight to behold. Walking along the beach, I was treated to stunning panoramic views of the ocean, with waves crashing gently against the shore. The beach is perfect for leisurely strolls, picnics, or simply finding a quiet spot to watch the sunset. Juhu Beach is known for its street food scene, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. From the tantalizing aroma of pav bhaji to the mouthwatering flavors of pani puri, the variety of dishes available is a feast for the senses. I couldn't resist indulging in some local favorites, and the experience was a true culinary adventure. The beach is not just a place for relaxation; it's also a hub of activities. From horseback rides along the shoreline to engaging in sports like cricket and volleyball, there's no shortage of ways to stay entertained. Additionally, Juhu Beach is a hotspot for film shoots, and you might just spot a movie being filmed during your visit. While the beach is undoubtedly lively, it's essential to be mindful of its popularity, especially during peak hours. The crowd can be quite large, which adds to the energetic ambiance but might not be ideal for those seeking a quieter escape. In conclusion, Juhu Beach in Mumbai is a must-visit destination for travelers and locals alike. Its vibrant culture, stunning views, and diverse activities make it a microcosm of Mumbai's dynamic spirit. Whether you're a food enthusiast, a culture lover, or simply someone who enjoys the sea breeze, Juhu Beach offers an experience that's quintessentially Mumbai.

The beach was super super mad crowded on the weekend. I would recommend walk a little further away as the rush reduces there and you can peacefully enjoy the beach vibes. You can get some food from the stalls near the entrance and enjoy it on the beach. There's a parking fee of 30rs for bikes and no entrance fee for the beach.

This review is specifically for those seeking a quiet and peaceful time at Juhu Beach, a place I've been visiting for over a decade. For a less crowded experience, avoid Sundays – it's a given! Opt for accessing the beach via Birla Lane; the parking for two-wheelers is convenient, and the access point is less crowded than the main entrance. Traveling via an auto can save you 10 minutes of commute time compared to the main entrance. Consider renting a mat for as low as INR 40 to relish the sunsets from the beach. For a tranquil dining experience, I recommend exploring Stomach restaurant, now located at the extreme corner of the beach. If you're craving more variety, Juhu Chowpatty's food stalls near the entrance are an option, but be prepared for chaotic crowds. There is small beach garden too. It is well maintained and relatively quiter even on Sundays.

Juhu Beach offers a beautiful view of the Arabian Sea. The sunset at Juhu is particularly famous and attracts both locals and tourists The beach is a hub of activity, with various street vendors selling local snacks like bhel puri, pav bhaji, and fresh coconut water. Horse rides, camel rides, and other recreational activities are available for visitors Juhu Beach is famous for its street food. Visitors can enjoy a variety of local snacks and delicacies from the numerous stalls along the promenade. The cleanliness of the beach can vary. Efforts have been made in the past to improve sanitation, but the beach can still get crowded, and littering has been an issue. Tips for Visitors Visit during weekdays or early mornings for a more peaceful experience Enjoy the local street food but ensure it is from reputable vendors. Before planning a visit, I recommend checking recent reviews and current conditions, as circumstances can change, and new developments may have occurred after my last update 🙂❤️

A good place to visit if you are a beach lover,u would love the view. You can have all you favourite street food as well. Things I didn't like is the littering part , like the whole beach is getting covered with the the waste. Do visit and enjoy just don't litter that's my humble request.

Long stretch of sand and beauty. Gets crowded on holidays. Try the A4 size immideate photo prints here, they charge 100 rupees for one photo. Good quality prints. So many water activities are present here, make sure you have at least 2 hours to enjoy the most. Lovely place, lovely people, food stalls are very less but they have decent prices. All in all you will love this beach. Must visit if you are nearby

The beach is cleaner now...thanks to bmc authorities who have awaken though quite late..just avoid the crowd when you enter by walking down little ahead on either side of beach and ohh...the peace and comfort is all yours...dont miss the long beach walks ..it will soothe you entirely.....

Juhu beach is one of the calm and cool place. It is very suitable for the evening and night for the family members to come and make a chat and have some small snacks. The breeze here is not so cool but the air will make as feel chill. In the sea shore lot of snack centers are there to feel the pleasant mode in the breeze.

A famous place in Mumbai, a must visit, with family, or as a lovey-dovey couple, or as a loner, there's something for everyone. From building sand castles & dipping feet in the waves, from horse riding to para gliding, from irritating hawkers to neatly lined food stalls. EVERYONE will have a good time. Don't miss the awesome sunset. And if you are a Couple, wait till after sunset, there's many niches and corners on the wallside for your Lovey-Doveys, but please, don't leave your litter behind, as you'd expect a clean spot when you come, so will the next couple after you leave. GOT IT?

Juhu beach is just a road cross away from me, talking a walk in the sand reduces the outward stress that traffic gives you, it's like entering a different place. Try not getting looted here as the vendors overprice goods, I suggest bringing your own eatables because the shops nearby are a bit costly for mango man, best spot for a family picnic, the views of sunset are also great, as weekends are the peak days, avoid visiting if you don't like crowds, the water is polluted so please don't bathe and make yourself and the water more dirty, enjoy the natural beauty without harming it.

It is considered to be the most visited beach in all over mumbai, reasons being the availability of great food at the corners of the beach and sand as well as the local things to buy. You can even preserve the memories and cherish it by taking the pictures and saving it in your purse through a local photographer available at cheaper rates. In the mornings you can see many people keeping themselves healthy by jogging and other physical activities and exercises.

One can feel the moist typical indian beach environment diversifying with different segments of people in the crowd. Having an outing with family, or the best trip with friends or giving one's partner a delightful romantic date, this beach can be a hotspot and a site for any kind of plans or carousal. Also, the beach is moderately clean, we are still on the way to achieve a swach bharat...😋

Anyone coming to Mumbai must visit the world famous Juhu beach. A place where you will see all kinds of people, from the poorest to the richest. Young guys playing Cricket & football, elderly having a leisurely walk, fitness freaks jogging, dancers practicing, people taking their pets for a walk is a common sight. You will also see children digging sand & making a fort from it. Foodies must try the famous Pav bhaji & ice gola. Overall, It's a place where people of all age group can enjoy a pleasant evening !

Things have changed and became more cleaner than the ones we experienced in the past. Security and management are on point in taking care of this place. The sunsets give you eye orgams for the beauty of this place. Best place to release your stress and find your inner peace.

It's more peaceful and lesser crowd as compared to the main Juhu beach but the food stalls were just not up to the mark. If you are a dog lover then there are few stray dogs to play with and pet them. You'll find kids playing cricket and football in abundance. The sunset is just as amazing as anywhere it could be.

There are good crowds on Sundays.

Juhu is popular for lively Juhu Chowpatty Beach, a long stretch where casual cricket matches are played, and beach vendors offer snacks like bhel puri and ice cream. Nearby, chic bars serve everything from local beer to cocktails, while the white marble ISKCON temple serves up vegetarian fare and baked goods. Contemporary and experimental plays take the stage at Prithvi Theatre.

  • 5/5 Raju R. 1 year ago on Google
The beach is fairly clean with minimal rubbish around the main beach area. There are quite a lot of food stalls, toys stands directly on the beach as well as by the main entrance area on the road. There were plenty of people getting into the water which was nice. There is also a company that does water rides, keep an eye out for the giant inflatables on the beach. There are quite a few entrances to the beach which is quite nice. It all connects to the main roads so it is fairly accessible. There is a shaded area just down the beach where you are able to enjoy the beach under the shade of a coconut grove. I came with 2 of my friends & enjoyed walking along the beach, particularly seeing the crabs digging their burrows. It was busy but not overly crowded and did get less crowded the further away from the main area you get. There were many couples enjoying their quality time beside beach 🏖️ beneath the trees 🌲

Fully enjoyed... There are a lot of activities for tourists like boating ,balloons ride ,banana ride and many more. I visited there at end of December and made fun there. I will really recommend you to visit there after 3-4pm. You will surely enjoy your day.

The beach is obviously not clean and it’s very crowded but I do enjoy taking evening walks with my fur baby during the weekends. I guess it does the work 😅 Also for ppl who would like to do water activities, they do have a handful of activities

  • 4/5 addaa 9 months ago on Google
Too crowded at times, this beach is what truly bears the brunt of the ever increasing population of Mumbai. With shrinking open spaces and this beach being the heart of the city you have huge crowds coming here every evening. Transport options at evening become almost impossible to get. Road outside is too narrow to manage. If you still need to visit, make sure that you plan much much well in advance.

  • 3/5 Sagar G. 9 months ago on Google
I wanted to visit the beach to view the sunset but obviously due to the horrible traffic jams near the beach was held up in the traffic for over 1hr and 30mins and reached the beach around 7pm in the evening.

  • 1/5 Jugdeep S. 3 months ago on Google New
Filthy beach, busy with people and street side traders even at midnight. Plastic waste, Paper and Garbage on the sand and in the water. Avoid the place and save your time to do something else in Mumbai.

  • 5/5 Vrushali S. 2 months ago on Google New
Both early morning and late evening one of the best timings to visit the place… Mostly its crowded all the time but at back gate means right of main gate area is less crowded…

  • 3/5 Shailendra Singh T. 2 months ago on Google New
Juhu beach has improved a lot since I been there last few years back.....lot clean. If you want to visit go during high tide you will get clean non smelly water. Still not a recommended beach to get into water. Stray dog issue is still a huge problem there, so suggest to not provoke when you see them.

  • 4/5 Jose J. 2 months ago on Google New
Hot spot in Mumbai . Beach is kept neat and gets crowded towards the evening. Parking is an issue and be careful on pickpockets and avoid unwanted attention. Some water sports options available.
