Quiet little Cafe, with a good selection of beverages. The value for money factor can be questioned, but the ambience more than makes up for it. Have a game of ludo, or chess while your order arrives. Better priced than the other establishments around in this area.

A go-to place for Chai lovers They have different varieties of Chai's and snacks too!!! Try out their Kanda bhaji and Samosa which will fill up your tummy😉 The ambiance is small and cute!!! One great thing about the place is that they have employee's who are physically challenged providing them work opportunities

This place is mushrooming up in entire mumbai and seems to be a good joint for home delivery. A small cosy place to have from breakfast to dinner. Very few people have a sit in and would prefer either a take out or call for a home delivery. The ambience may not be that smart but its compensated by the quality of very good food. The service is a bit slow for sit ins as they too prefer home delivery. The food is not very costly either

We at Chai pe charcha had a visit tasted moong bajiya, aloo paratha and maggie the along with ginger tea, liked the aloo paratha, and moong bhajiya, maggie the quantity was too less and just advice that the tea wasn't upto the mark, even the lady whom we ordered she took our order correctly but she had no smile on her face, just chit chatting with the kitchen staff very loud we were happy with the ambiance inside but the kitchen staff and the service manager at lower parel outlet was very talkative, all the delivery orders were too slow, do work out with hiring more staff

A nice place to enjoy a hot cup of tea after a long day. They actually serve the tea in glasses you'd find at any tapri to keep the authentic look. The place has a nice ambience and is very colourful. You should try out the onion bhajiyas with your cup of tea. And feel free to play a game or two of Ludo or Snake and ladders while you enjoy your snacks.

Food quality is great but service is very slow and deficient. Simple things like serving water to the customers does not happen unless asked for. Each dish ordered takes at least 15 minutes to prepare. So if you order 4 dishes among 4 people on a table it will take them one hour just to serve you. I am not exxagerating. This place is good only for takeaways or delivery orders

How about some Charcha over the amazing chai in the town ! The fun outlet to enjoy cup of amazing tea with and spectacular food at Chai Pe Charcha #LoweParel. I went there with my parents and let me tell u it is an amazing joint with super cool menu giving u a range of chais, Snacks, mumbai snacks, Parathas, all time nastas and a lot which can compliment with a Chai. Their tables have games like ludo and Snake ladder which can be played while ur food comes, as they make fresh food so it’s actually worth the wait. The quantity they serve is more than enough to be served for two. Their staff are really sweet and helpful ! Mamata made my time a total worth the visit here :D Aloo Paratha :- Really tasty Served with Achaar and Dahi. Super filling Paneer Paratha:- Again filling and Masala mixed with paneer stuffing was super tasty. Corn bhel is a good option with Chai we had it and it was really good. A bit on spicy side but that’s the dish all about. Coming to the Chai :- Try their Irani Chai which had adrak and elaichi powder. Kesarwala Masala doodh:- garnished with almond and elaichi. Im sure you won’t miss your home once u visit here. Highly recommended:- Food:- 5 Service:- 5 Ambience:-4 Staff :- 5 You can also order online from Zomato.

The name itself exudes a casual, classy and extremely tapri type vibes. Well this is what they exactly are. An extremely well-crafted interior with a dainty and colourful vibe, the beautifully painted kettles hung over each table. The place has a raw yet friendly vibe to it. Each of their tables have board games set atop them with a box full of colourful dice and coins to enjoy while having a cup of tea or some munchy samosa. Although they have a self-service, the staff takes great care to check on every table and make sure the place is spick and span. We were invited to review them and we started our meal with their charcha special tea. Served with a complimentary biscuit puff, this glass of ginger and lemongrass tea is sure to blow off the day’s steam. It sends a flow of energy throughout. We also tried their special lemon tea. For those, who are a pure kadak chai people, this one will surely coerce you into changing your pick. It had just the right balance of lemon, tea as well as ginger. We loved the taste and flavours of this one. With every sip, you could feel a surge of lemon in your body. A great accompaniment to these cups of tea were the Gulkand Bun Maska. Soft brown buns stuffed with a layer of maska and a layer of gulkand smeared atop it was probably one of the simplest delicacies you could try. We loved this one, especially with sips of their charcha special tea. The first dish that we tried here was the Khakra Nachos. This is a desi twist to our beloved nachos. However, this desi version is definitely at par with the firangi ones. This version had the base of methi khakra topped with khaata meetha tamarind chutney as well as a spicy green chutney. Over this, they had a layer of molten cheesy sour cream. This was a never-tried-before dish and is definitely worth the experience. After this, they came with one of their best-selling cheese parathas. Soft, thick and extremely homely paranthas and homemade curd and achar give you a perfect meal. The cheese was seasoned with chilli flakes and stuffed inside the crust too. A bit more of seasoning could have made it even better but even this one was a delight. After this we tried one more never-seen-before, Dum Chai Cold Tea. Now this one was a sibling to our modest cold coffee. However, this one was strongly flavoured with tea and vanilla added the chill to it. It is a must try and if you are a tea person you might enjoy the bursting flavours in your mouth. Not long after this, we had their American Corn Bhel. This has the most delicious flavours. It is very rare that the flavours get integrated into the corn prominently and give a spicy as well as sweet touch. In this one you could taste the flavours of onion, tomato and chatpata masalas. This one again is extremely warm and soulful food. After this, we had the Paneer Bhurji Pav. The pav was smothered in butter and the bhurji was a deliciously flavoured one. With a perfect amount of mashed paneer and veggies, this one was sure to make you drool over it. It was perfect from the first bite to the last. The Cheese Chilli Toast was also crunchy and had a perfect balance of spicy chillies and sweet cheese with an added on crunch by the bread. Toasted perfectly, this one was a delight. The final touch was given by the Nutella Toast Sandwich. Now this one was something which not only had nutella in it, but an extra crunch of nuts and crumbs toasted to slight golden brown. The nutella and crushed peanuts went well together and made the toast taste like a bar of ferrero rocher. This is by far one of the best nutella sandwiches that we have had. It is a must try. The place has everything on point. Right from the ambience, the games, free WiFi, some extremely delicious dishes, innovative fusions and the touch of kadak chai with an air of cheerfulness. It ticks all the checkboxes and is definitely worth a 5 on 5! Ambience: 5/5 Taste Quotient: 5/5

Chai Pe Charcha as the name suggests the place serves best tea. This is the best place for snacks and chai. It is pure veg. The ambience of the place is very desi & on the wall some cool quotes frames are hanging. On the chair the table is fitted with snake & ladder game as well as ludo which can be played while your order comes. They make fresh food. The quantity they serve is enough for two people. Their staff was very polite & friendly. Mamta handle customer's very well. I had : Irani Chai : It was simply awesome. It was served with Rusk. Chai had adrak & elaichi powder. Maggie Bhajiya : It was served with green chutney and imli chutney. It is an amazing combo. Bhajiya was crispy & tasty. Samosa Sandwich : It was served with green chutney and imli chutney. The stuffing of the Samosa was perfect & yummy. Chilly Cheese Corn Paratha : It was very tasty & rich in flavour. Paratha with corn stuffing plus good amount of cheese on paratha and served with dahi. Must Try. Cold Coffee Frappe : It was served in bottle. It was blended perfectly & refreshing too.

Visited chai pe charcha located at Lower Parel! As the name suggests they have options in Chai and all the chai lovers must go! We ordered the paneer Paratha which was really delicious and worth it... Also tried the cheese Paratha which was good!! The moong daal Ka Pakoda was hard, expected it to be a little soft... We tried the coffee which was good... The tables were really good and you can actually have chai pe charcha.. eat, drink, talk and play!! The service was very slow because the restaurant was full and the staff was few in number.. The staff was polite though..😊

As they say, never judge a book by its cover. Trust me although this place is really tiny, it has got the best food. We had the bread pakoras which were amazing 😍😍😍😍, reminded me of Delhi. The corn cheese sandwich that we had was super yummy too. The chai. Was served with a rusk and it was one of the best chais i have had. Even the lassi is yummy. The table has a snake and ladder board game on it and a box with the dice and all to play. It is very cute dhaba style and the person serving and taking the order is also really courteous.

Great place in a bustling street. Snack options are limited but they are good. A variety of chai is available to quench the thirst of chai lovers. They give sugar separately. A little bit overpriced but the internal decor is good enough to convince you to pay extra. Staff is courteous.

Any day any time it’s chai over tea and tea over chai. Yes, the addition of milk and spices brings in the difference between chai and tea; this what geetu loves Chai Pe Charcha And being a TYPICAL PAKKA South Indian I feel MY LIFE and chai share equal proportion in my body. With an ardent tea fan at home, I have started to develop a connection with my cup of tea. It was also hard to content my excitement when the outlet of CHAI PER CHARCHA at prabhadevi, made their way to MUMBAI…. And the icing to the cake was the new menu session as a master chef finalist where I got the insight about their different types of tea. What impressed the most is the food pairing in accordance with the tea. Also differentiating the varieties of tea isn’t an easy job. So the idea of matching the tea and food impressed me the most.no more words .. CHAI PE CHARCHA is the brainchild of tea enthusiasts n entrepreneurs Mr. Anil kohli who want to bring the best of teas to the Indian consumer. I REALLY APPRECIATE MR. ANIL, FOR HIRING AND RECRUITING HEARING AND TALKING IMPAIRED PEOPLE FOR NOT ONLY THIS BRANCH, BUT ALL THE OTHER CHAI PE CHARCHA…branches .. ITS A VERY NOBLE WORK THAT ANIL AND HIS PARTNER DOING.. HATS OFF TO U BOTH.. The quality of tea and the style of presenting along with the quantity gets a thumps-up. The challenge must have been to introduce teas which would suit the local palette as in India the tea is boiled with milk n water rather than steeped in hot water. But CHAI PE CHARCHA manages to strike a perfect balance in retaining the originality of international teas and appealing to local taste buds. This particular outlet is a nice place to try their extensive menu of almost 20 varieties of tea n food items like tea infused signature dishes. For anyone who wishes to try out the wide variety of fine teas from around the world this is the place to be. The concept of pairing tea and food is brilliant. Whether its the exotic DETOUX tea which is one of the finest n most subtle teas or the special and classic selection of the worlds best and also the beloved local chai’s as well, CHAI PE CHARCHA has it all. . Also the very latest ek garam chai ki pyal is on the menu. All in all a nice tea cafe to enjoy n sample some of the most uncommon teas along with good food and good service. The smiles were back when I saw mud pot carrying (Kullad) Chai along with a plate of crispy and hot PANEER Pakoda. This combination is a default hit. I tried the BUN MASKA .The bun maska is a sole winner, a simple combination of bun, butter and GOBI PARATHAS . Next came the most famous MASALA Tea, I never knew there are different varieties of tea as well as it never interested me, maybe the word ‘healthy’ that comes along with tea doesn’t excited me. I did taste the ADHARAK TEA and I liked it, the hit of spices and addition of GINGER did make it taste good. This tea was paired with GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH , Chai pe charcha ! For a tea-licious experience. The concept and food are crafted well. With a cosy ambience, warm tea and comforting food and with close friends Bharti Godha Joshi, Primla Hingorani this is one place that would even impress the non-tea lovers. Shall think visiting this place more to try more options with their tea.

Good place for tea conversations as the name itself says chai pe charcha. They serve a glass of tea with rusk (toast) and give ample space and time to visitors for their conversations. One female handling the entire outlet. The wall is painted with Bollywood dialogues connecting with tea as usual sholay and thakur pictures. Tea costs somewhere around 50 rs which is decent enough. Bun maska with garam chai is a good choice here...
