I recently visited the Bird Park with my son and husband. I have always loved watching birds. I'm so glad I visited the Bird Park. It's not very large like the water kingdom or Essel World..but it's got everything in that small space and is so well designed and done. There are more than 60 plus bird species in the Park (more than 500 birds) along with 150 plus plant species. The staff is so knowledgeable and well trained. Do not miss bird feeding and the presentation on Macaws. Most birds roam free and it's totally amazing to see them up close. You can't carry food inside. Water is available inside the park. Bird park is not only for Children but us adults too. A must visit. PS. If you are allergic to birds and feathers, Do consult with someone before visiting and do carry a mask.

For kids and those who love nature's creatures.. it's amazing. From Gorai need to take a ferry for Essel World. Ferry tickets you will get at the entrance for Ferris. As you reach Essel World need to take Mini train which will drop at Water Kingdom. There a bus comes to pick up and gives drop to Bird Park. The entrance is cute. There is a Souvenir Shop and has a variety of things and clothing and travel accessories. There is also drinking water available inside so no need to take a bottle. Can see a variety of birds. If you walk peacefully you can get beautiful pictures and videos of them with chirping. You can feed them as well as enjoy the show which is full of enthusiasm and knowledge. The management is very helpful and kind. Also made aware of the birds behaviour. Loved it!! Stress Buster!! Definitely should visit once in a lifetime at least.

This park was surprisingly good! The bird park is very well-maintained, clean, full of greenery and great variety of birds. It's totally worth the ticket price and a must visit if you like birds and nature. Don't miss out on the bird show in the evening which is included in the ticket.

EsselWorld Bird Park is great and easily accessible spot to visit with Family and specially with kids, it is an attraction for bird & nature lovers. You can visit here with your own vehicles via Uttan Road or you can take ferry from Gorai Jetty to EsselWorld Jetty which have good frequency. The ferry costs Rs. 100 per person as return ticket. Bird Park staff pick you from EsselWorld Jetty in toy train to another junction point and then mini bus drop you to Bird Park Main Gate. You can buy tickets from the counter or book it online from Bird Park website. Child with 3 feet 3 inch height have free entry. Entry ticket costs Rs. 575/- per head which includes Guide fees, bird show fee. You have to leave your luggage, plastic things, tissues etc. at entry gate. You can carry water in steel bottles and your valuables like purses inside. Food items are not allowed inside the park. Wheelchair facility is available here. Small food court, seating arrangement and toilets are available outside entry gate. Park map also available at entry area. The park is sprayed in around 1.5 to 2 acre land area and covered with different types of trees, ponds and have visitor decks, Machans. The park is built to give natural environmental feel to the birds. They have various species of exotic birds like Cockatoos, Macaw, Golden Pheasant, African Grey Parrot, black swan etc. Indian birds are not available in park. Almost 80% birds are free and making there own nesting to live. Total park is sealed with steel net. You have to walk peacefully to get beautiful pictures and videos of the birds (Professional camera is chargeable). 20% Birds are caged, like ostrich. Park have Birds show at 1.00 PM & 3.30 PM also if you want to experience bird feeding activity which is chargeable then plan your trip accordingly. Birds feeding timings are at 11.00 AM & 3.00 PM. Park is open from 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM on all days. Park guides are very helpful with good knowledge of the birds and birding, they will guide you through out the park and answer your questions satisfactory. We are thankful to Gayatri, Faisal and Pankaj for there kind guidance. Overall 2.5 hours are sufficient to have look and enjoy the birds and Park. You can do shopping of souvenirs from the shop available at the Bird Park entry as well. A must visit place, enjoy Birds and nature...!

Visited the park with my family and it was a beautiful unforgettable experience. Everyone working there were so friendly and helpful. Upon entering the park, it felt like a walk in nature, peaceful and relaxing and the sound of the birds chirping added to the magic. Interaction with the birds was another experience. Loved seeing different birds fluttering and chirping and also the tour guide describing each of the birds, their behaviors and habits. At the park, you get the option of feeding the birds. We opted for that and it made our day with the birds hopping on our heads and shoulders. The live bird show was another great interaction with the birds where you get the option to click pictures with the macaw bird. Also during the show, the geese and the cockatoo birds were hovering around and that was fun. Do visit the bird park when you get the chance.

Currently it is small but having the bird trainers make it stand out from the other zoo's in the country. The knowledge they share is interesting for kids as well as adults. Interactive birds in cage as well as roaming around the park. The car parking is same as the one for water Kingdom and essel world, 150 rs for a day. The only annoying thing I found that they charge a full ticket for a 2 year kid as he was above the 2.5ft height mark. Tickets could have been cost effective to attract more guests. Try to look for online offers as we got free mini meal per ticket. Overall a great experience.

Good place for kids, but within an hour we were done with all the stuffs inside the bird park. That is why the entrace price seems too high for just one hour. Above that feeding bird is charged Rs.100/- per person, where in they just handover the tray with birds on them and a photographer is arranged for clicking the pics which is charged separately if u want hard copy or printed on any merchandise. Overall experience was good, but dont expect much from that place. Only one advantage they give that we can exit and enter n number of time.

Great place for kids to enjoy. A small jungle within the city limits. Normally it takes around an hour to have a look at birds. Bird show and bird feeding activities carried out twice a day. Staff is very friendly ans supportive. Hardly any option for eating, so carry a few stuff for feeding your self. Food items not allowed inside the park.

First of its kind in India. Built on the lines of international interactive bird parks. Small but enough for kids. Takes upto 1 hour to enjoy with ease. The interactive sessions offered for free are good. Needs more activities. Restricted to bring any plastic bottle, food, even water. Metal bottle allowed. Baby prams/strollers and wheelchairs available for free. Drinking water available free inside. Ensure to check timings of interactive sessions to enjoy fully. Handheld Camera charges 250 extra

They route to this place is a pure bliss. I loved driving through the route. It was like a mini-kerala spor. The road runs through the montain and ita cool. I liked it a lot. Parking facility - One star for parking facility. There is no proper parking space. They have an open area with no shades. If you are visiting during summer, your car will be as hot as the sun. Shuttle facility - There are busses that will take you from the parking lot to the bird park and the water Kingdom. There are two places. Bird park comes first and water Kingdom comes second. Both are just 500m apart and just 1 to 1.5 kms from the parking lot. I went only to the bird park. Apart from the ticket cost, you will be charged 100rs per person if you wish to feed the birds. Which is nothing but you will be allowed inside the cage and you will be given a plate to hold. The birds will come and sit on it and have their food. You are not supposed to touch the birds. Then there's a bird show which is for 15 mins. They show you an ostrich egg and you can hold it and take a picture of it free of cost. DO NOT OPT for family photography with the macaw. Waste of money. They will charge you Rs. 500 but not worth it. The bird keeper will have the bird in his hand. Maintenance is poor. There are not as many birds as we expect but it is worth the money. You can experience ducks and birds come near you.

You need to park your car at the parking lot. Charges are 100 for full day. Take ferry buses from there to bird park. Tuesday and Friday have discounted tickets but have to buy online for discounts. Do attend the feeding session and interaction session at 3pm and 4pm. Must visit . The birds are in free environment. See photos and enjoy . Facility like toilets and canteen is available.

This is a truly a bird park in all respects. They have birds from all over the globe. 50 percent birds are left free and due to strict rules on touching or teasing the birds the birds do come near without any fear. The entry fee is Rs. 390 except on Tuesday and Friday they have offers which will reduce the price by Rs. 100 There is also a bird show or knowledge stadium. A must visit place with family.

It's a good place for a half day visit especially with kids. There are many exotic birds to see here. Amazon parrots, ostrich, cockatoo, pheasants , moscovian ducks, Australian goose and 70 more species. The staff is good and friendly. The birds are well maintained and treated. My baby had fun chasing the goose and ducks. Overall it was a good trip. Improvement Required. The infrastructure is degrading since my last visit pre-pandemic. The information kiosk doesn't work , the water stream and few Chalets were not maintained.

The experience was overall great, it's pretty educational and toddler safe so you can easily visit with family. They although don't have a variety of food in the cafeteria so would definitely recommend carrying a tiffin or snacks if you prefer a heavier meal. They also have a small seminar sort of session where they tell you more about the birds and such, it's a pretty interactive session and quite fun. Would recommend for families

There are many types of bird breeds here. The hand feeding session is also good. But go with your tummy (stomach) full when visiting the park. There menu start with 75β‚Ή, They charge 75β‚Ή for one normal white bread sandwich. And even after charging so high, there canteens are filled with flys and mosquitoes. So even if you have no problem with the price, you should consider about hygiene.

Beautiful bird park in Essel world. World class birds kept in natural habitat. The kids loved it thoroughly! Bird feeding, interactive session and bird show were outstanding. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Some 400+ birds in the area and most of them were flying and roaming openly...only carry mosquito repellent as in the rains that was a problem..

It's just 10min but you get to know about some birds in details. Entry is 390 and it's fully worth it. Of you are looking to spends few hours but don't want to go usual malls, movies and stuff. Great place to visit with family and kids. It would take about an hour and a half to explore the park. The feeding times were at 10am and 3pm, where you buy a token for β‚Ή100/-, can enter the enclosure, hold a feeding tray and take a picture. The premises looked well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A snack stall is just outside the park, no plastic or paper is allowed inside, it all needs to be left out for the safety of the birds.

It's a great experience to see so many birds in a place like Mumbai, they have maintained it very well. 11.30am and 4pm is the birds feeding time (Rs 100 charged per person) 1pm is a bird show. Do not take Dslr coupon of Rs 250, not at all worth it, there are not many birds outside to get great shots. One good thing is we can go out of bird park and back as many times we want.

Such a wonderful and happy place. Loved all the birds. They have limited species but whatever were there, they were good. Peaceful place. All you could hear is the bird sounds. Many in cages and few outside the cages flying and walking freely. The best part was when two ducks came walking freely towards us. It was a pretty sight. 😊

Refreshing experience! So many various birds, many of them in open (it's an Aviary). Beautiful place, good people. Good Connectivity! Entry tickets too were apt. Though was surprised to see cost for activity like Bird feeding charged Rs. 100 even for a 2 yr Old kid (who hardly held the plate). Also, there was a charge for the photos clicked by the professionals for this activity ( which is expected). Coming back to the Bird park, it is well maintained, well designed. Though the challenge to maintain will be once the footfall increases! Expecting more additions to the current population of birds. Macau, Tucan, Ostrich, African Grey Parrot, Cockateil are the birds to name a few! Thank you so much for bringing something like this to Mumbai. Loved it ❀

2022 - Now more a charm, it was way too good in 2018 but now it is not maintained. No more small birds who roam around freely. Would take not more than 15-20 mins to cover the complete park. Essel World is closed for maintenance. 2018 - A must-visit for nature and bird lovers. 1-2 hours it will take to visit the complete park. People visiting Essel world can club it.

It was one nice experience that one should experience at least once and we were guided by Dason and he provided us the knowledge about all the birds. However, it was small and with less variety. We do understand that it's not easy to manage so many exotic creatures however, if more varieties are added I am sure it would attract more visitors

This place is just awesome! I visited this place today with my parent and I was completely in awe. At the ticket counter, I requested for a guide. Dason was the guide for the tour. He educated us about different birds. He was very knowledgeable and explained about every bird with ease. It was wonderful to see unique and beautiful birds fly around you. We reached at 2.30 pm just in time for the bird feeding which is the highlight of this place. I believe everyone should experience this at least once. We also attended the event held in the amphitheatre Vijay the instructor in a very simple way addressed issues which seemed like an eye opener and provided food for thought. You will be humbled with how much nature gives us. The staff here are very helpful and kind. There was kindness all around. Lastly, this place is totally worth it. I highly recommend it.

Its beautiful and very informative for kids. It has quite the collection of birds with alot of information. Guides are well invested into the idea and their enthusiasm shows the connection. Even though its has dense vegetation, you might feel the heat in afternoon so please carry cap. You are not allowed to take anything plastic inside and no food. It has a show in the arena at 1130 AM which includes feeding at woodpecker stadium. Its a must visit for kids.

Its alright. There's a bird park in Indore zoo too---if you happen to be in Indore, do go to the bird park there. You can see the birds more closely and in the open. Regarding Essel World bird park: Entry charges, 500 rs for adults, 400 for kids. Bird feeding activity: 11:30 am to 3 pm only. Most of the birds are caged. Two bird presentations, one at 1 pm other at 4 pm, where they discuss about some birds. For taking pictures with a macaw, charge 250 rs per person, which you can do for free at Indore bird park. More birds should be out in the open for a more enjoyable experience.

It is an ideal place for taking children and showing the birds in their habitat. Many exotic birds like the ostrich are kept here. There is a bird feeding session at 11:30 am and 4 pm which should be attended at Rs 100 per head. Also there is a bird show at 1 pm which is free and the host explains every detail of the park and the birds. Cars/ bikes are not allowed to the park. You have to keep them at the parking lot and there is a free bus service to the bird park and water Kingdom. Parking charges are Rs150 for cars. No food items are allowed in the park and they are deposited at the ticket counter which can be collected later. Multiple entry and exit can be done in the day as the food court is outside. Park opens at 10 am. 3 hours is enough to complete the park visit. Highly recommended.

The bird was quite pretty. They maintained it well. The volunteers were well disciplined and had enough knowledge. They showed ostrich egg and gave enough information. Also showed how a strong bird break walnut in seconds.
