Excellent place to spend 2 days and ensure that you have completely rejuvenated. The pine hut experience is great as you get to stay in a timber house, and the smell of the wood is truly intoxicating. The design of the hut is in such a way that you have a living + sleeping area on the ground floor with a common toilet, and a staircase takes you to the upper floor (attic) which has another bedroom with an attached toilet. Both the toilets are well designed and clean. Both the rooms have an option of air conditioning in case you are visiting the place in peak summers. The upper floor bedroom has a skylight, which is a great feature, however it would have been perfect if the skylight was openable. This will allow the hot air to escape, reducing the need to use the AC. The sound of the river is so soothing that you will fall asleep in seconds :) The food arrangement here is such that you can place an order at the canteen in advance or get your own food and get it cooked there. There is no kitchen or pantry inside the hut, but you can heat water in an electric kettle for making black tea or black coffee. You will have to carry your own tea and coffee. Overall a perfect forest experience, in the heart of a mad city!

It is indeed a nice, calm and exciting place to be in with friends and family in the micro-vacations we get. I know few details of the place since I went there a few weeks ago(from the day I post it) to enquire about whats and hows of it. There is arrangement of food to eat as mentioned in the menu I have added in the photos attached. When it comes to security and safety they have: โ€ข Some protocols like "one cannot go out side the fence after a particular time in the evening" and others โ€ข A long fence They have 2 kinds of โ›บ Tents: โ€ข Type 1: โœ“ Around 12 Bunk Beds(So around 24 people in one tent). โœ“ The tent doesn't have washroom inside so one has to use the common washroom available for all such tents. โœ“ Non Air Conditioned โ€ข Type 2: โœ“ 1 Double bed & 1 sofa โœ“ The tent has washroom inside(Large and Clean). โœ“ Air Conditioned One of the most awesome thing they claim is that, since as evenings approach Deers start gathering around the fences and you can see monkeys around too, you can see leopards who come to eat these deers.

Bestest Place for 2 days outing in busiest city in mumbai. sanjay gandhi national park maintain superbly this camping site (เคจเคฟเคธเคฐเฅเค— เคถเคฟเคฌเฅ€เคฐ ). They Have 3 A/C tents and 3 non A/C tents with bathroom and toilet. There are 2 dormetries (non-A/C) with occupancy of 14 people and 24 people which has non attach toilets and bathroom. Canteen its good snaks and lunch/dinner. They have some strict rules which everyone should follow whoever enter in this place. I have visited this place twice.

Spending night in the middle of the jungle is something you can experience here. It's scary but fun. Also, you'll enjoy the hot and spicy food from the canteen

Some more animals need to be kept in national park. Very good cleanliness. Staff is good. But if you travel on bike triple seat . The forest police will charge you . Be care full. You get get bicycle on rent at the gate. You go to kanheri caves. Don't drink alcohol inside the park . You may be punished by police

Sanjay Gandhi National Park Campsite is an 3xcellent stay option within SGNP, Borivali. Good star gazing and morning tree walk are additional attractions to take kids near the nature. Food options are reasonably good. Tent stay is at 2500 and 3000 for a family of four but food not included. During rains it is heaven to experience away from The crowds and chaos.

Sgnp has always been special. Its really mystic in the rains. We booked the a/c tents where 3 person can easily accomodate .one more person can sleep on a matress on the floor but we were worried about creepy crawlies,so didn't do that.the furniture is very basic and bathroom is clean.the canteen food is yummy. We had roti, dal, also bhaji and misal daal for lunch followed by tea and Kanda bhaiya in the afternoon.for dinner we had jhunka bhakar which was great. Morning we had Poha, misal paav and batata vada which was superb. The ladies cooking there are very friendly. We went for small walks, drove down and went to a small creek and sat there with legs in the water. We also sighted deers, monkeys . A great place to go in rains
