The place to go for scrumptious vegetarian snacks and meals. Such wholesome, tasty fare! It's truly value for money as the quantity is sufficient to fill not only your stomach but also your senses. I was totally delighted by their crisp onion rawa masala dosa and dahi vadas dipped in smooth fresh dahi. The coffee could have been better. A must go to place to take a halt as you head out of the city to more verdant locales.... Very happy

I have been dining at this place for the last over twenty years. Wonderful time spent each time and food is fabulous here. Be it Pav Bhaji, Alu Pakoda , Paneer, Masala Dosa and more. The list is endless. Try out this place for sure on any day.

Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely great dining experience. It can be anything you want, you can take your family, or office colleagues or just you but worth it and they do different specials on different nights so it’s worth checking them out before you book. Highly recommended. It has lots of parking area just up front and there is no noise from the outside. The staff is very prompt and the quantity of the food is adequate for your appetite.

Starter was so good. We order hara bhara kabab and panner tikka (paneer was literally sooooo soft) and manchow soup. For main course bread was good. we ordered butter roti, butter naan, butter kulcha and mint paratha. Mint paratha was avg but it was more like coriander paratha and less of mint paratha. Order we didn't like -kadai paneer and mushroom tikka masala as gravy was same for both and was lil sweet.

We visited here on 15th August fir dinner. Nice place.... Bit crowded. Had to wait for about 5 min. Which is less comparatively. Clean place. Good menu. Tasty food.... Great service. Will love to visit again.

The place is nice but slightly congested. Food is ok and reasonable. Does not give a feel of a 4 star hotel restaurant. But a decent place to visit with friends and family. Service is good and prompt even at rush hours they are able to manage large groups efficiently 👍

It's a pure vegetarian restaurant. The food is very good especially South Indian. Most of the item prices are same as any other restaurant but few things are very expensive. They have cakes and pastries too. The service is good.

So surprised to find good chole bhatura in Mumbai. It's an upscale eatery for chaat and simple Indian fare. With the current environment it's the perfect spot to quench your appetite for Street food in a clean and hygienic space. We visited cafe vihar for lunch and ordered a plate of pani puri, chole bhatura, idli vada each and some fresh juices. Everything was prepared with care and tasted delicious. The staff was prompt and very helpful, their service is fast and polite without seeming like they are all in a rush. The restaurant seems like a local favourite as most of the tables were occupied when we visited the eatery. Must visit when you've got a hankering for some chaat.

Very good veg restaurant with quality food. You can get Jain food as well on request. However do mind that restaurant has strict time for lunch item only untill 3:30pm. You can only order snacks after that untill its time to start dinner.

Situated at Vashi. It is paradise for vegetarians . The quality of South India. Foods like Dosa/ utappa are better than south Indian resturants. At the same time the paav bhazi is my all time favorite.chinese items in starter are very less oily and ultra tasty . I most of time end up over eating here bcoz of taste and quality. Its an awesome place to be, even for the breakfast. I expect them to make Parathas also available in the early hours which will add another category to the foodies. Ambience is good and they are priced competitively. The service is very good and Zomato Gold users can definitely take advantage of the flat discount options.

Food is really good. Their North Indian, South Indian and Chinese is better than what you get in only veg restaurants in vashi. Service good even it was weekend. We ordered jain food and it was yummy. They also have own parking and accept ticket restaurant so we were veyy happy.

Just look the soup picture that I have posted. What do you feel? Does it look like a Lemon Coriander in any way? This was the worst Lemon Coriander soup that I have ever had. Three stars are for the remaining dishes like Hara bhara kabab.. which was really good and the American Chopsey which was just okay.. the fried noodles in the Chopsey were more like Ratlami Sev.. too thick as compared to expected thinner noodles. So overall, I had heard that it was a well known place for people passing by to and from Lonavala or Pune.. but my experience and yes the first time experience wasn't too good. Above all the staff of cafe vihar is something really noteworthy. Pleasant demeanor. Patiently recommended various dishes to us as it was our first time there. Relatively much quieter place. Decent crowd. Dishes were also good quality. Decor can be improved a bit. Rest is all fine. They have their own parking also where you can park your vehicles so that you don't have to pay to the pay and park outside the hotel.

There was nothing bad that i can reduce any stars. It is perfect for the crowd it is made for i.e. pure veg family restaurant. The menu is wide with all type of cusine and it was tasty for what we ordered. Hara bhara kebab Paneer crisy Manchurian dry Masala khichiya papad Pav bhaji Sada dosa Few juices Everything was up to taste. Only thing is everything was less spicy. It was good for my family but i would ask them to make bit more spicy next time. I will definately visit again to taste other dishes.

Cafe vihar is veg only restaurant situated at Tunga hotel in Vashi near to railway station. The food are good in taste and the specialities are chaat options. They also serve very nice chole bature...

Good South Indian breakfast spread. Palak dosa is very good. Sambar was weird, not upto the mark at all. Filter coffee is great, must try. Little too expensive for the food and ambience.

Good place for a regular family visit. They have Zomato Pro as of the time of this review. The food is great, not too spicy for North Indian dishes. The service is relatively quick as well. Ambience is average and the AC wasn't working well when we visited. Overall worth a visit.

I am going there for 5 years. Earlier food was good. Yesterday I ordered Aloo Paratha. It was very bad. Cook does not know how to make a paratha. Take recipe from my wife.

A short 10 minute drive from the DY Patil stadium. We went to this place for dinner after our match. It has simple and amazing food options. Taste was great. We had ordered Masala Dosa, Pav Bhaji, Special Pav Bhaji and Rabdi Falooda. Every dish was quite good and satisfying.

Pathetic restaurant... The staff is very rude and not at all helpful... After a long day at office I cam to this restaurant to atlast relax and have dinner but urgently had to send a mail and my laptop's battery was dead ... So I requested them to put my laptop on charging but they straight away denied that too very rudely.... Even the manager did the same... Zero hospitality for a business whose bread nad butter is hospitality

Ordered a tea and was having it at my own pace which apparently was too slow for the management and the servers so they decided to be passive aggressive to try and coerce me into leaving. First, the server comes up with the bill without having asked for it. After a while of noticing me not taking their hint to pay the bill and leave, the server come and tries to take my cup of tea away from right under me! Absolutely pathetic. Ruined the entire experience. Would never recommend anyone to go here, regardless of however good food they might serve.

The food is good, as you'd find at any good restaurant. The downside is that they charge 18% GST even if you go for dine-in. Their reason, since Tunga is a Hotel so they charge GST as per hotel, although it is part of tunga but it is situated at ground floor but charging 18% for GST is not cool. Better go to Achija in similar price you'd atleast get better food and ambience.

Great food and very fast service! Ordered idli, dosa and paneer tikka, all of them very excellent. Server Vikash was very sweet and prompt and attended to all our special requests. Definitely recommend this place.
