Newly
opened
in
Oshiwara,
Green
Village
Cafe
is
the
perfect
stop
to
have
those
healthy
organic/keto/vegan/gluten-free
meals
without
compromising
on
the
taste.
The
owner,
Mrs.
Mamta
Wadhwani
is
the
brain
behind
this
venture
and
happily
explained
to
us
the
concept
-
they
aid
the
farmers
by
sourcing
fresh
and
organic
ingredients
directly
from
them,
and
provide
them
a
portion
of
the
cafe's
profits.
Also,
they
aim
at
providing
healthy
and
delicious
food
without
the
use
of
maida,
white
sugar,
preservatives
or
artificial
colours.
Coming
to
what
we
had
here-
Relax
Rocktail:
So
aptly
named.
The
concoction
of
ginger,
lemon
and
organic
honey
was
indeed
relaxing.
The
ginger
flavour
comes
out
really
nice
without
being
overwhelming.
Recommended!
Green
Mint
Soother:
Mint
+
Lemon
+
Organic
Jaggery
=
Perfection.
Very
refreshing.
Pumpkin
Soup:
I'm
not
fond
of
pumpkin
but
I
can
easily
have
it
anyday,
it
was
that
delicious!
However,
if
you
really
can't
stand
pumpkin,
you
can
avoid
this
one.
It
was
served
with
freshly
baked
almond
flour
bread.
Chicken
Coriander
Soup:
It
was
like
a
warm
hug
in
a
bowl!
So
healthy
and
so
delicious.
Go
for
this
one.
Hummus
Platter:
Presentation
on
point-
colourful,
nice
plating.
Arabic
style
hummus
and
carrot
hummus
with
lavash,
falafels
and
carrot
sticks.
Very
healthy,
but
taste
was
highly
average.
Grilled
Chicken
Panini:
This
one
was
surprisingly
good!
Strong
punch
of
mustard.
Generously
stuffed
with
juicy
grilled
chicken
along
with
lettuce,
capsicum,
onion
and
mustard
sauce.
Worked
well
for
me.
Veg
Mexican
Bowl:
Probably
the
best
main
course
for
vegetarians
here.
They
indianized
the
Mexican
bowl
made
up
of
kidney
beans,
brown
rice,
bell
peppers,
zucchini
and
mushroom
with
tomato
based
gravy.
The
dish
looked
lovely
with
avocado
slices
on
top.
Fusion
Saucy
Penne:
Penne
pasta
with
lots
of
veggies,
parmesan
cheese
and
pink
sauce.
Tasted
great,
but
nothing
extraordinary.
Keto
Chocolate
Brownie:
No
white
sugar.
No
maida.
Made
with
almond
flour
and
Sugar
free.
Tasted
quite
like
a
normal
brownie.
Health
enthusiasts
can
try
it
for
sure!
Classic
Brownie:
This
tasted
better
than
the
keto
version,
softer
and
richer.
Low
on
sugar
too-
just
the
way
I
like
it!
The
ambience
here
is
very
cozy
and
true
to
its
name-
green.
I
found
it
really
inviting
and
a
soothing
place
to
dine
in.
We
received
warm
hospitality
too.
Relaxing
playlist.
Prices
were
too
steep
for
the
quantity
given,
but
the
food
and
service
makes
up
for
it.
