So
had
happened
to
visit
this
joint
“The
American
Joint”
last
night
at
BKC
as
that’s
the
nearest
to
my
place.
Talking
about
ambience,
it’s
pretty
much
casual
and
basic
in
green
theme
and
it
has
live
kitchen
counter
see-through
in
front
of
us
which
is
fun
to
watch
while
you
are
waiting
for
your
order
to
be
served:
p.
So
they
are
not
that
old
set
up
as
such
(first
outlet
i.e.
BKC
opened
in
April
2016,
followed
by
Borivali
in
March
2017
and
Thane
in
December
2017)
but
have
already
grabbed
enough
eye
balls
in
media
(Nominated
as
“Best
Vegetarian”
outlet
twice
already
in
Times
Food
Awards).
Now
coming
to
what
I
had:
Mocktails:
under
this
I
had
Lemonade
Stand,
Watermelon
Lime
Spiritizer,
Strawberry
Mojito
Pineapple
Julep
and
Cuban
Mojto
(Rating
4/5)
–
These
were
true
to
their
names
&
quite
refreshing
enough.
Shakes:
under
this
we
had
Cookies
&
Crème
Oreo
Shake,
Ferrero
Rocher
Shake,
Fudge
Brownie
Shake,
Nutella
Shake,
Kit
Kat
Shake
and
Paan
Shake
(Rating
3/5):
These
were
somewhat
disappointing
items
according
to
me
which
we
ordered.
Now
disappointing
because
every
shake
we
tried
tasted
almost
same
one
after
another.
Same
thick
chocolate
shake
with
crème
on
top
of
it
and
tib-bits
of
change
based
on
the
shake
we
ordered.
I
think
they
should
kindly
re-work
on
the
make
of
their
shakes.
No
doubt
they
were
thick
enough
to
enjoy
(I
like
it
that
ways).
Hummus
to
you
(Rating
5/5):
This
is
love,
by
far
the
best
hummus
dish
I
have
had
&
I
could
not
stop
licking
the
plate
in
which
it
was
served
till
the
end.
So
basically
made
with
lemon,
garlicky
chick
pea
based
dip
served
with
whole
wheat
pita
bread.
I
would
highly
recommend
this
to
first
time
goers.
Yumosas
(Rating
4/5):
They
had
this
unique
concept
of
serving
three
styles
of
samosas
i.e.
paneer
and
chilly,
pizza
marinara
and
basic
Punjabi
potato
based
ones.
They
were
mini
samosas
but
however
I
felt
to
some
extent
they
lacked
enough
flavors
on
overall
basis
but
as
they
were
hot
when
served
just
enjoyed
them.
Frypenos
(Rating
5/5):
Another
star
dish
from
their
place
were
these.
They
jalapeno
tikkis/poppers
had
oodles
of
cream
cheese,
cheddar
cheese
and
spring
onion
fritters.
It
was
accompanied
by
masala
ranch
sauce
which
again
was
a
great
addition
to
the
dish.
I
again
just
loved
this
to
the
core
as
it
were
extremely
melting
in
mouth
from
the
initial
bite
itself.
Guys
do
try
this
one
out
there.
Garlic
Bomb
Cheese
Bread
(Rating
3.5/5):
Somewhat
like
lasagne
this
was
basically
bread
stuffed
with
garlic,
chilli
flakes,
marinara
sauce
and
mozerella
cheese.
I
was
excited
looking
at
this
dish
but
it
somewhat
didn’t
appeal
post
tasting
as
such.
May
be
its
just
me
but
I
would
skip
this
dish.
Mountain
O
Nachos
(Rating
4/5):
Though
these
were
typical
nachos
we
order
at
many
places,
I
like
its
quantity
served
and
especially
these
corn
tortillas
were
their
housemade.
These
were
supposed
to
be
topped
with
olives,
spring
onions
tomatoes
charro
beans
and
jalapenos
but
when
the
order
came
we
only
got
olives
and
jalpenos
mostly.
However,
the
quesso
cheese
sauce
made
up
for
the
lack
of
other
ingredients.
Hong
kong
Fries
(Rating
3.5/5):
These
basically
were
just
fries
tossed
in
chili
sauce
prep.
They
turned
out
to
be
pretty
salty
and
not
too
crisp
enough.
House
Organic
Veggie
Burger
(Rating
3.5/5):
Fries
served
with
burger
were
way
better.
The
star
i.e.
burger
was
somewhat
bland
hence
didn’t
really
relish
it
to
that
extent.
I
think
may
be
the
patty
itself
needs
more
seasoning.
I
would
suggest
that
to
the
team.
Ferrero
Nutella
Mouse
(Rating
5/5):
Just
loved
towards
the
end
as
this
was
truly
decadent.
Just
order
it
and
have
blast
Blueberry
creamcheese
Waffle
(Rating
5/5):
Another
show
stealer
at
the
end
and
a
must
try
than
usual
chocolate
waffles.
My
overall
rating
is
4
