I went there on 16 April 23. For set menu dinner. They have very good options to choose for set menu like sea food / meat / veg / jain. We have taken 2 set menu 1 sea food and the other one was veg with rose wine. Hospitality was amazing, and the food was too amazing. I could not finish the main course, just tasted and went to the desert, which was too yummy.

Had the set menu for dinner. Pros: 1. Adequate quantity and you can ask for more if you need. 2. Rich flavourful food. The biryani was exceptional and so was the dal makhni. Unmissable if you dine here. 3. Service by the staff was cordial as you would expect at a 5 star. Cons: 1. Desserts were very ordinary. Too halwas and a gulab jamun. Mirch ka halwa was horrible and should not be served at all. 2. While the initial serving portion is small, be prepared to wait for 25-30 mins for any repeat portions that you order. I ordered paratha which came after 25 mins and another helping of gravy which was so delayed that I cancelled it and left the main course halfway since everything was cold by then. 3. The serving style is pretty ordinary and doesn't give an exotic gourmet feel for a place that is this pricey. 4. The service is quite delayed once the place fills up with more guests. 5. The music was awadhi type but was stuttering and nor pleasant. All in all, worth visiting if you are just having the biryani and dal makhni. Other items can be given a miss.

The go-to place for authentic Awadhi cuisine. Lovely ambience. Soft music, classy decor. Well curated menu. Cordial service. However, serving of food is a bit slow and haphazard.

Really well decorated restaurant, feels like a 5 star venue. Great service as well. Dal Makani was tasty while the tandoori chicken and naan was really good, bursting with flavours. The disappointment to me was the Gosht Biryani, the meat itself had a strange taste, I felt like it tasted a bit old. I made the visit to taste the handi style dish and was left a bit dissapointed. Still an overall good dining experience though.

Nothing great... Won't say its value for money. Definitely there r better options in Mumbai. Set menu is a good concept and we tried the seafood option. But food wasn't awesome... Lobster and prawns were OK but other things not great at all... Lamb and chicken curry were very much on sweeter side for my taste buds... Not a place for me for sure 🙄😬😢😢😢

Ambience states the royalty of the restaurant. The Restaurant that serves Indian authentic cuisine, it can be divied in to four segments. The vegetarian, the non veg the sea food and mix and match food. Prices are logical according to the star rating of the hotel. Portions are absolutely more than enough. For a meal for two you will spend anything from 4 to 4.5 k depending on the choice of food ordered. The drink menus is awesome and one can get anything that money can buy. A Nawabi experience! Located in one of the most serene locations of the city is this establishment. Nawab saheb has found its ground at the lower level of the Renaissance Hotel. A greeted welcomed with a Rocky land dwelling largest mamal to a foot soldier in nawab saheb's army. The restaurant is dimly lit and surely gives a perfect set up for a dastarkhwan in nawab saheb's Darbar. The service staff is extremely courteous and they will make sure they can tend to each and every need of yours. They are informative and make perfect suggestions in means of pairing of your beverage to the food and suggest the perfect course for the Palate mood for the evening. A generous thank you to Monica and Shantanu for attending to us that evening and giving us a very pleasant evening. There aren't enough of words of praise to write about such amazing food. From beautifully succulent kebab to a perfectly grilled lobster and the breath taking prawn curry which is a part of their Mitti Di khusbu festival menu took our hearts away.

One of the best dining place in Mumbai that offers authentic Indian food. Ambience was classy and you get a feel of nawabi tradition. Very friendly and respectful. Great Evening. The food was outstanding and the kulfi was to die for. Thank you for a great experience. The chef also gave us sampler for stuffed paneer and dal makhani which is very delicious. The Akbari murg Tikka , hussaini kebab and tandoori chicken was mouth watering at the Nawab saheb.The ambience of the restaurant was awesome. The service offered by the staff was excellent especially Trisha was very sweet and friendly and had a big smile on her face throughout. Nihal and Yogi were also good. Will definitely visit with family soon.

Food is good but the service is POOR. Our starters were served 45 mins after the order. Music is also too loud like in a Pub, we could barely hear ourselves talking. Being an Awadhi Restaurant, there should be light and soothing music going around which calms the mind.

Hopeless table service, we are group of 40 plus people and serving seating menu by only 4 staff and they don’t have clue what to serve first......can’t recommend anyone

I was amazed by the interiors and ambience of the place. The place can accommodate around 100 people at a time. This place has maintained not just the standards but also taste of the food. The staff was very welcoming and warm with hospitality. Nawab Saheb is a gastronomical journey for those exploring the ageless Royal Mughlai and North Indian Cuisine. The menu boasts of different menus such as Mix & Match, Seafood, Non-Vegetarian, Vegetarian and Jain options. Also, they have A-La-Carte menu. All these are eloquently curated by their Chef. We started with Mix & Match Platter. The following dishes were adorned in the Platter. Hearing about the Jugalbandi Festival going on at Renaissance Powai, we were excited to try out the Lucknowi & Hyderabadi cuisines prepared by the chefs. So off we went on a fine Sunday evening and trust us, we weren't disappointed. We were greeted by the Ghazal singers singing live songs.. so lively, so amazing, it was a treat to our ears!! Of the Veg starters we tried , the Lucknowi Dudhiya kebab was the one which we loved the most with the potatoes and cheese stuffed (we were quite sceptical about it when we read on the menu). We also tried the Lucknowi Hare Awadhi Kebab which was typical spinach based but the Awadhi spices gave it a different twist. The Hyderabadi Starters (Begum Pasand Akhroti Seekh, Charminar ke Kebab & Nizami - E - Khaas) were also good in flavours but not as good as the Lucknowi starters.. so for us Lucknow was the winner in this category. For the main course, we were served Lucknowi Kaju Makhane ki Sabji (again the best of the sabjis) & Dal Nawab Saheb (urad lentil). On the Hyderabadi side, we were served Mir Ahmed ke Paneer & Sabzi Nizami Korma alongwith a mixed basket or breads (Naan, Paratha, Missi Roti) and a pot of freshly prepared Hyderabadi Biryani. The Dal & Biryani was a hit-hit combo but what really tickled our tastebuds was the Kaju Makhane ki Sabji (would never have ordered it if it was another day but will surely order it again at Nawab Saheb). There were a variety of desserts to choose from. On the Lucknowi desserts side were Shahi Tukda, Sewaiyya ka Muzaffar, Gulab ke Kheer & Gyaani Malai Pedha. The Hyderabadi desserts, Qurbaani ka Meetha, Gil - E - Firdus & Boondi ke Ladoo were as delicious as the names suggest. The dessert winner for us were the fresh soft Boondi ke Ladoo & the Malai Pedha and that made it a tie in the dessert section. For us, clearly the Lucknowi cuisine was the winner of this Jugalbandi contest but it was an amazing array of dishes presented by both the chefs with the regional flavours definitely showing in the dishes served. All said and done, the food, flavours, service & hospitality gave us a Royal feeling and we left with a smile & a mental note to go back again for another meal.

Renaissance Hotel Powai is nothing short of royal and beautiful. Simply amazing hospitality and such pretty restaurants. This Infact, was my reason to visit Nawab Saheb for their ongoing Tawa & Tandoor Festival (20th- 28th September) as there are very few restaurants who actually go out of their way to curate special menus like these. Brainchild of Chef Yunus Khan, I think everything on the menu was fantastic. Service was slow as the restaurant was quite packed, being a Friday night. I opted for the vegetarian fare priced at 2800. Frankly, I thought it was value for money only because of the main course. Just their dal makhani and paneer will leave you licking your fingers till the end. Here's what the spread consisted of and how I felt about it : Vegetarian : 1. Til Malai ka Phool (5/5)- Melt in the mouth brocolli with cream cheese. Found the cauliflower okayish. 2. Chef Yunus Khan ka Paneer Tikka (10/5)- Star dish! Has to be the best I've had in a long time. Highly recommended. 3. Subz ki Ashraphiya (3/5)- Found it average. 4. Bhune Bhutte ke Seekh (5/5)- AMAZING combination of seekh Kebab and babycorn. YUM. 5. Kabuki Kebab (3/5)- Found it too dry. Taste wise as well, bland due to Chickpeas. 6. Chukunder ke Kebab (4/5)- Beetroot galauti, it was nice. 7. Kumbh ke Galawat (5/5)- Wow. Has to be the one thing I'd come back for! Surprisingly it was served on a thepla kind of bread. 8. Aloo Atishi (4/5)- Bharwan aloo, classic. Mains : 1. Paneer Kaliyan (10/5)- Now that's what I'm talking about. It's dishes like these that make you remember these hotels. No one does mains like them. I ALWAYS skip mains but yesterday I was too tempted after a bite and ended up having 3 pieces of bread after such heavy array of starters. MY FAVOURITE FROM YESTERDAY because it was cashew gravy, so creamy, soft paneer chunks and rightly spiced. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 2. Daal Nawab (10/5)- Probably as good as the one I've had in Delhi at ITC. Properly slow cooked for 48 hours, perfectly creamy and texture was just right. Not overdone. Yum. 3. Subz Biryani - couldn't dare to try it. Was too full. Desserts : Assorted variety Motichoor Laddoo, Kaju Katli, Kalakand, Gulab Jamun, Akhroti Halwa, Phirni - all were great but my favourites were the Phirni and Gulab Jamun. Great staff and great hospitality by team. Special thanks to Manager Avanish, steward Shrikant and Chef Rahul Karve.

If you want to relish nawabi food then you have to visit Nawab Saheb. The food, the presentation, the hospitality everything is outstanding. We were looked by Mr Saurabh Dixit and his team consisting of Seon & Paul. We had ordered veg galouti kebab as starters and these kebabs were made of veggies and they were simply melting in the mouth. I am a big fan of peach Iced tea but they had orange ice tea so I ordered that and trust me it was outstanding. In the main course we had ordered paneer with butter naan and even that was delicious. We were so full so we wanted to ditch desserts but Paul served us firni from the house and it was the icing on the cake. When Mr Saurabh told us that these guys have just joined we couldn't believe as these guys were simply perfectionist. Whenever I am in the mood of royal food, I know where to go. Nawab Saheb.

This Indian speciality restaurant has been around since the time before Marriott took over the Renaissance brand and much before Renaissance got rechristened as Westin. It speaks to the likeability of it is ever-green menu of foods that can be best described as the food of the nawabs from Luckhnow and Hyderabad. I would highly recommend the below dishes: The tandoored prawns and tandoored lobster tail. Their galouti kebab and nihari are to die for. And absolutely not possible to miss mentioning their dal makhni and haleem. You can give their desserts and cocktails a miss. Absolutely recommend the place for its hospitality and food.

Nawab Saheb at Westin Powai exceeded expectations! The ambience, in line with its name, set the perfect tone for a delightful dining experience. Loved their biryani. Went with my parents for 2 nights in a row. Dishes we loved were Dal makhani, paneer apricot, veg subz hundi, veggie raita, mirchi halwa, hot fulka rotis...Chef Younis Khan is great. He brought some samples for tasting and some takeaway spices. That gesture was highly appreciated. The customer service was excellent. Live gazal music was great too. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant if u want to spend some relaxing time with ur folks. Will visit this place again in future.

Nawab Saheb, deserves full credit for it's effort and the wonderful dining experience it provides for it's customers. . Firstly ,the ambience stuns you. High ceilings, humongous pillars, royalty dining and seating like a Maharaja. It's exclusive, splendid, and lavish. . Secondly, getting past the decor, the live music sways you to no end. There's ghazals and a soothing singers voice as well as melodious taals of the tabla player, who definitely and genuinely make it a point to play your requests and entertain you. Kudos. . Thirdly, the staff is courteous, welcoming, and greet you with certainty. The chef welcomes you and the Manager smiles through a good conversation. Lovely set of people and very humble and sweet. . Service is Good enough, but I personally found the place to be over priced for what it was offering. . I started off with the Non Veg Platter, with a generous serving portion (5 pieces) of different meats combined. Basically a happy protein platter. You have the Galauti kebab, which is the best dish of the day. Velvety , smooth, soft, moist and delicious. 👍 The Prawn and the Lobster, needed seasoning as there was a steady lack of it. And both the chicken appetizers, were on point and fabulous. Delicate and Tasty. 👍 . For mains, I found myself stuffing my mouth with a variety of gravies and enjoying myself completely on the Kaali Daal, which is definitely a recommendation. 👍 Secondly, the Nihari Mutton, is another dish par excellence and a chefs speciality. Mutton so well done, and melts in your mouth . 👍 . The Other Gravies were okayish, decent effort. . The Biryani was a disappointment. Very oily. Aromatic, yet bland. But mutton cooked to perfection. . The dessert platter is a heaven for Indian dessert lovers, and have a wide range to choose from and end their meal with paan. . The reason, this place is a complete fiver from my side, is because of my overall experience and the joy of dining. Every attribute complimented the other , to give a rewarding time, I spent at Nawab Saheb. Thankyou for that. All the best.

I am glad that I visited this restaurant during my short stay in Mumbai. This is especially good for someone who has limited knowledge as to how to order food in India - this is my first meal after arriving the hotel at night. The delivery was on time and the packing of food is also good. I ordered some of their most best selling items and I'm glad I ordered them. 🔻Dishes I ordered:- ▪️Appetizer- Chicken Signature Chilly-- This is a chinese starter. The chicken is deep fried and then sauteed in the yummy and spicy sauce with a lot of garlic and ginger which gives it more aromatic flavors. Comes along with their homemade schezwan chutney. Nawab Saheb was a one of a kind experience. First of all, it's located within Renaissance, which in my opinion is one of the finest hotels in town, I tried out their Non Veg Royal Menu which is for ₹3900/- and consists of a variety of different starters and main courses, also has a beautiful Biryani. The starters as expected were absolutely amazing. The texture, flavor & quality was on point and absolutely magnificent. The gravies were flavored beautifully and the Biryani had a beautiful aroma and an authentic flavor. For desserts they had an entire section full of the best Indian Mithai and they were all delicious. I would highly recommend Nawab Saheb for special occasions and business meetings. You'd surely enjoy it.

Dum and curry is an absolute delight! It serves really good North Indian food! The taste is too good. It is located in Powai. It's a delivery kitchen. The service is really good. Few days back, i ordered mutton biryani from this outlet and i was impressed by their food and services.. Food was nicely packed as food was hot when i received and follow all safety guidelines while delivering the food. food was well cooked with veggies and was spicy and flavourful and very well. I have ordered chicken dum biryani and chicken tandoori half. The quality of the biryani was excellent. Quantity of the biryani was good and enough for two peoples. The taste and the aroma of the biryani was mind-blowing. Chicken tandoori was cooked properly and the quality of the chicken were used was fresh. Comes with green chutney and onion masala sides. The packing they have done a proper tight packing of the food. The rider have worn gloves and mask and done a contact less delivery. My experience with dum and curry was Fabulous.

Had a lovely meal and evening at the Dum and Curry last Wednesday. The food there is always great and we are regular customers that go there usually once a week. The management and staff really go out of their way to ensure everyone. enjoys their visit and want to come back. ,

Dum & Curry is a delivery kitchen in Powai which offers some outstanding food. The menu has quite a lot of good options to choose right from North Indian to Chinese & Mughlai. We ordered for North Indian as that was suggested by a friend. Things we tried: 1)Paneer malai tikka- 6 chunks of melting soft paneer perfectly coated in a delicious marination which was slighlty sweet and very flavorful. 2)Paneer masala kurchan- A perfect main course to opt with any type of bread. Had a good portion of soft paneer cooked in a delicious red gravy. Goes really well with a Butter naan or Butter Kulcha. 3)Paneer tikka biryani- The long grain rice had the right quantity of masala along with marinated paneer tikka. This was served with raita and mirchi ka salan which you wouldn't find everywhere. Overall it was a great experience and a place totally worth ordering from.

Worst service,fake commitment for delivery,I waited more then 2 hrs for my dinner delivery,every time they say that our rider is on ur way and it will deliver in 10 mins...but their 10mins not come till now....also when I called to know the delivery status they kept my call on hold and then they disconnect..

Nice food

Got served burnt naans. Had ordered from Zomato so was not really sure what the place is like. Happened to stumble upon the restaurant a few days back. Looks questionable and unhygienic. Zomato was kind enough to refund the money on behalf of the restaurant. But definitely never ordering again.

Dum and curry is a delivery based outlet in powai and was suggested to me by one of my friend during a night over . The food was really delicious specially the birayani. I'm head over heals in love with their biryani .I had also order the chicken bhuna masala which was kinda spicy but it tastes really good with mallabari paratha. The packagings was really nice and there was no spillage . The food was delivered piping hot . The delivery was quick it look barely 20 mins to deliver the food to my door step. Since it was a platter it was a single piece YONUS KHAN KA PANEER TIKKA - signature dish. Middle had a filling of dry fruits and nuts. Indian spices tandoor well with spices balanced Subz gauloti - melt in mouth minced veggies with herbs and spices served over a bread. So Lucknow ( must try ) MALAI KA PHOOL - richness all over . Cheese and cream marinated broccoli charred. Perfect Non veg platter - Mahira babuli kebab famous dish of amritsar on bones. Melt in mouth tangy spicy marinating. Must try GALAWAT KE KEBAB - do try this , served on a small paratha. Minced lamb with spices .balanced was prefect. Normally served on a griddle. Since it was a platter just had one piece which was enough to know the culinary talent of the master chef. Samunder ki apsara - wow this was something new . Small lobster tandoor to perfection. Subtle in spices and aromatic at the same time. However the 48 hour Long process Dal e yunus is worth a wait , rich urad lentil. Goes well with biryani or breads. Non veg - ghost nihari tho banta hai boss . Bone marrow stock , lamb slowly cooked gives that aromatic taste and flavour. Do try the murg handi lazeez - braised chicken with base of onion gravy along with methi ( fenugreek ) and cream. Chicken was cooked well tender and juicy Must say that food , kebab or the gravy are not heavy or oily. Just perfect. Missed out the prawns kasundi , lovely hit of kasundi cooked well. Velvety tomato and anar gravy. Do try. I had the set meat meal, the portion was huge, too much for one person but the food was awesome. Saurabh, Manish, Noel and Chef Yusuf personally coming over was really nice. They have “set menus” over the weekend so you are completely tied up after agreeing to it. After the starters, which were served cold, nobody came to check for repeats. We had to call out for repeats which took 30 minutes to come! And then the main course another 80 minutes, which was also served cold! The taste of the food was average at best. At a restaurant like this, one goes not only for food but the whole dining experience which in this case was horrible.

Very good palace for food lover I am glad that I visited this restaurant during my short stay in Mumbai. This is especially good for someone who has limited knowledge as to how to order food in India - this is my first meal after arriving the hotel at night.
