I went to this place after seeing the rating and trust me I don't know what was so good about this place that it has such a good rating on Google maps. Food quantity compared to the prices is nonsensical. Utterly dissapointing experience in terms food taste, pricing and quantity of food. I went on a Saturday evening, there was waiting and I thought it must be really good, but after looking at the menu options and their price I felt skeptical in ordering a lot. We were 4 people and we ordered just 2 dishes, paneer lifafa and baked masala khichdi. Taste wise both were decent but quantity was extremely less. I won't recommend anyone other than people from the local area to go here.

Good quality, hygienic pan indian snacks with decent service. Slightly on the pricey side but portions are adequate. Panki is lovely, chat is good The lemon grass icecream is a must try.

This restaurant has pure veg and serves a unique menu of food items. Must try their malai malpuda in desert. Even fresh mango ice-cream tasted good. Overall, the food was okay. Not everyone will like such varieties. There is a traditional Gujarati delicacy known as handwa. But in this restaurant, it was tweaked by kand (purple yam) handwa and this was not at all like the original handwa.. not in looks nor in taste. Even pretty simple food is overpriced.

I'm coming to this restaurant from last 12 years and I love the food. Place is always crowded especially during lunch and dinner. Parking is big problem here, hence plan accordingly. While we were waiting for our turn we enjoyed fresh sugarcane juice it was yummy. Wait is approx 20-25 mins. We enjoyed Paani puri, panki, gatte ka shake and fresh mango ice cream also vada pav.

Food is simple and very tasty, exactly how many folks would make it at home. Service is extremely fast. The place is super clean. This restaurant is over-priced even considering that a place like this should command a premium. This is the only reason why I rate it a four star instead of a five. However, given that there is always a queue and tables are always full, the prices are appropriate from the restaurant's perspective.

BEST CHAAT IN MUMBAI Its a small fast food joint which is very popular for its quality, flavour, service and price . Best dish : paanki - this is not available in other restaurants. Swati serves the best and freshest paanki i have eaten. Sugar cane juice - a very hygeinic drink which is fresh and yummy. Serving size : each dish can be easily shares between 2-3 ppl . This is the best part, order more dishes and enjoy . Seating : the restaurant has a no booking policy. So, it is normally very crowded , but wait time is not long on week days. If you go on a weekend , prepare to wait . Overall : BEST CHAAT IN MUMBAI

Heard a lot about this snack juncture.. n true to its fame.. each and every food we tried was yummy... Only reason of not a full 5 star is due to the pricing which is slightly higher priced.. refer the attached menu and the price but quality of food undoubtedly amazing. Also the crowd is good.. :) Pankhi.. bajra uttapam.. pani puri.. falafal.. puneri missal.. juice.. each and every dish we had was too yumm!

Swati Snacks is located in the lively Tardeo area of Mumbai where it originally started in 1963. It is arguably the best Gujarati cuisine restaurant in the entire city. The restaurant has a visible kitchen, and the decor is elegantly modern. The contoured wood benches and brushed stainless steel table tops arranged cafeteria-style have become an element of the interior design. The Panki Chatni is a must try Gujarati dish at the restaurant. Swati Snacks' menu combines the taste of foods that customers have eaten at home and the taste of street foods. You will find some waiting on weekends and peak hours. The staff is very friendly. They also have a clean washroom inside. Hope you will give it a try if you are in Mumbai.

Definitely go for a Panki, regardless of what you're ordering. And if you're a fan of anything grilled cheese, give the Cheese Mex a shot. Its surprisingly a great Gujju take on Mexican food.

Been to Swati Snacks several times, while i worked in that side of the town. My favourites were always Panki and their Undhiyu during season. This was a visit after a good long break(read post COVID). We were there of us and went for lunch. Loved the millet (bajra i think) pizza and went a bit adventurous and ordered an Appam Stew as well. And Dabeli. โœ… Bajra Pizza - yummy overall, crunchy delicious base and quite a sumptuous portion, good for the table for everyone to sample โœ…Dabeli - I'm a fan of Dabeli and don't miss a chance to taste this at any location. My favourite is the one that you get locally at Kutch and Ahmedabad. Expected better, bit it's ok for someone who doesn't have such a high expectation. Portion size was ok, with two Dabelis served in an order โœ…Appam and stew - right on taste, saying this as a South Indian, hence it's a big deal! Well done Swati Snacks. But serving a single Appam and a tiny bowl of stew is just not ok. Appam and stew is a 'hearty' meal, it's not a snack, hence expect atleast two appams on plate for a single order. Can you send 1 poori for a poori-bhaji order? Get it? So a bit disappointed on this front. โœ… Then we ordered the popular masala chai which was accompanied by methi Savory sticks and coffee that came with banana chips. Nice touch! No room for pankis after all of this.

A great place to have some unusual Gujarati combination food. Very fresh and tasty. The portions are very small for the amount charged for each portion. But the quality and the taste superstars the charges. Itโ€™s s very popular joint for Gujaratis and attracts people. Be early to get s table or be prepared to wait to get a table and itโ€™s worth a wait !

Wow! We had a lot of fun here. The menu on the QR code is great because it has descriptions of the food and sometimes a picture. Thatโ€™s how we decided to try their Panki Chatni pancake. It was absolutely delicious and they showed us how to prepare it and eat it. We also ordered the vada pav. The waiter really wanted us to try the Dahi Batata Puri and the Sev Puri so he brought one of each for us to try which was so thoughtful! I was really touched by his generosity. We found that everything we ate was delicious. The space if very clean and well air conditioned. We would definitely comeback to try more yummy food!

So this place has a very small but very neat sitting space, overall ambience is nice and decent. You can go for breakfast, Lunch or may be evening snacks as well. A bit costly I would say but locality has it's on cost as well. The food was decent in taste don't expect wow factor in the food. Portion was bit on the lower side but prices were high considering the portion and the taste. The service was very fast and they have maintained the hygiene level very well.

One of the renowned place for Gujarati snacks in South Mumbai. Their panki is a must try. They have a choice of snack and beverages that makes you greedy to try all of their choice, overlooking the stomach's capacity. Their service is quick and it's well maintained. If you are foodie, you will rediscover a part of the food palette that remains unexplored. If you aren't a foodie, you may begin to sin.

O M G the safe haven for any avid snacker! Absolutely destroyed all this wholesome food, which was accompanied with wholesome and helpful service from the staff. I can see why Swati is a staple for all Mumbai locals. The malai malpua looks a little sus but BRO ITโ€™S SO FIRE. I swear to god Iโ€™ve tasted heaven in that dish. Also 12/10 for the Ponk Bhel! I think taro is called Panki here but the chaat was phenomenal. The dahi missal was a missโ€ฆ al. Howeverrrrr I just love love love this place and will definitely be coming again once I burn off all the calories I consumed ๐Ÿฅฒ

The epicness of regional food transformed into gourmet delicacy is perhaps going to be the legacy of Swati Snacks. Tip, always look for the seasonal favourite. We were lucky enough to visit in the winters and were offered Pok Bhel, Kand Handvo, Undhiyu Puri. Each of the dish cooked to perfection, with the right spices and the right amount, almost to a scientific effect. Kand Handvo was something very novel. And undhiyu, was just perfect! They do have a lot of generic dosa, pav bhaji, etc stuff here, though why one would have that at a place like this beats me. No doubt, it'd be great. But it'd be like going all the way to Water kingdom for practicing some swimming laps. Anyways, expect a queue here post 7.30pm, especially on Sundays. But, it's totally worth.
