I recently visited Soma for the delicious manglore food. Had this fantastic 5 course meal with soup, amuse bouche, palate cleaner, mains, appetizer and dessert. It was authentic, with great flavors and textures. I would love to go back here for more Indian and regional food.

Atmosphere quite noisy I order Navratri Thali. The food is ok as it is Navratri feast but the vrat rice is smelly like old stock or BASI smell. Service not up to level of 5 stars. Staff never ask for any water or any extra items you want in the Thali. For my daughter we order Paneer item it has no taste. Pay 5xxx rupees but feel not worth it.

Hiya!??Lets Begin! We were at #thegrandbrunch & our level of excitement was thru the roof. There was a plethora of exciting live food counters & an array of desserts to spoil u rich. Ambience:Sophisticated, modern but with a contemporary twist of art deco paintings, spacious yet very cosy. Staff:So we were seated at celini. Our hand on deck supervisor chitrak greeted us very warmly & without having to remind much tht we are vegetarian he knew so. The RM Vishal and his entire team here is courteous helpful, attentive & our a guests delight who can serenade his/her meal to him/herself,tht attuned the staff is at this brand of hotels. Food:Desserts:We are welcomed by a choc fountain & macroons oh yess!those tiny delights of wonderous joy. Some eclectic collection of in house chocolates. Some pannacotta which was a tongue teaser,to goodness of chocolate pastry. Also to tickle ur taste-buds there were expresso choc tarts, lemon tarts, choc mousse, rasberry jelly, doughnuts, cronuts, movenpick icecreams, redvelvet cream slice, rasberry cream slice, hazelnut crunch brownie & much more. As this was #thegrandbrunch u hv to remember their 55east,chinahouse,celini,soma each one was orchestrated to showcase the best they had in their menu. Salads:The array of salads peeping from smll tiny glasses look like art in a glass. Kulfi:The malai kulfi is all slim & tender and cold,a complete ice maidan. Chaats: Super perfect bhel, seeet tangy spicy. Kachori chaat:The puffed kachori stuffing is of greenpeas with beaten sweet curd & tangy tamarind chutney. Bar counter:This had a special drink for the special occassion. It was called bandhan. It had sm bacardi,sm champagne and granidine syrup. Stellar Duck wraps:This is china house outlets baby. This was served with onion & cucumber in plum sauce & done in wood-fired oven! Tak-a-tak:Sabz galouti:This was with a smokey flavour & minced mixed vegetables.Moist & sinful.Crispy & soft inside. A vegetarians truly lucknavi delight. Kolkatta veg wrap:Hell i want to have this even more, can u send me 1 while i write abt it.This is with chunks of paneer, bellpepper, tangy onions all coming together where after eating i can bless the rumali wrap. This had an amazing texture. Indian Mains:Paneer shahi pukhtan:This had an aromatic hint of kasoori methi. The cashew paste made it rich. The full fat cream made it smooth. Our regular spices in which peeli mirch, cumin, coriander powder,a pinch of garam masala just complimented it superb. Khazane-e-lazeez:Get out of town! This had me brimming with joy. This was with mashed paneer & khoya with stuffing of raisins & greenchillies rolled into a ball & deep fried in a rich in cream based gravy. Asian Mains:Wok fried wood eared & pokchoy with thai noodles was classic yet simple The tofu in chillibean sauce:Stirfried tofu in chilli bean sauce was flavourful.Wonderfully fragrant. Stir fry beans in sichuan chillies:The flavours of pepper, garlic come thru as the beans shrivelled up. Edameme beans dumpling in truffle oil:Flavours tht cm thru these hand-crafted jewels are edamame juice, sesame oil, cumin, redpepperflakes, garlic all in tht one bite in one go,as they say eat ur dumpling without cutting it. We had been to Soma yesterday for dinner and asked for a set menu . The server was rude to us from the start and ruined our whole experience. At first she did not offer a bar menu, we had to specifically ask for it. Post starters when we didn’t get our mains and we asked her, she said I thought you are still to finish your starters (and quite rudely). During mains when we asked for extra daal she said it’s over!! How can something get over in a set menu! And the height was when she told us in Marathi that we can remove sabja off the kulfi in dessert if we don’t want it and there is no need for a new one! The staff was also gossiping about us when we were there and we could hear about it. Very very unprofessional. Will not step there again. For the amount of money they charge, there are tons and tons of other restaurants. Please avoid.

Extremely ordinary ambiance, food choice and food taste. The buffet was the smallest of all the buffets I have been to, the quality was bare minimum. Ambience was extremely ordinary. I don't know how does this qualify to be hosted under Hyatt brand name.

If you love being disappointed, this is the best restaurant to visit. Extremely mediocre food, ambience and service. The only thing that's high are the prices. Please take my advice - Avoid.

Large Indian restaurant, very light and airy with a central island kitchen... Good grills options and very friendly staff (snaps to Vaibhav for his very enthusiastic service). I tried the signature pulled lamb dish called Raan-e-Sikandari with their signature naan and some raita to calm the lightly spiced meat (it's not spicy.. I'm just sensitive to spices) which was very filling and a huge portion better suited to two people. Absolutely delicious and recommended. Dessert was Baked Rasgulla which is an interesting twist on the traditional Rasgulla and super sweet. All in all, good restaurant with excellent service.

We dined at the Indian restaurant Soma. The food was lovely. We ordered simple Indian food, dal's and aloo Gobi and kasoori chicken tikka, and Roti's. Everything was cooked Perfectly. The chicken pieces were juicy, tender. The aloo Gobi was soft and spiced very well. The Indian deserts were well done too, not overly sweet at all. The only thing I didn't enjoy was my cup of filter coffee, it tasted like ordinary coffee. The staff is courteous and friendly too. Enjoyed their service.

Highly Disappointing Experience! Pathetic Spread! Guys please donot visit this restaurant. It's was a Sunday Buffet and let me tell you there was hardly any options. The options in non veg were so scanty it wasn't even funny! Water was served on the table after almost 20 minutes and whenever and whoever we raised the issue in regards to service delay we were given almost a system generated auto reply which is " Sorry, I/We are interns". Now coming to the ambience of the 5Star Restaurant: There was carpentry work going on and thus there was continuous noise of hammer hitting the nail (I wish it was my head though). If you guys dont want to ruin your day, please don't visit.

The ambience of the restaurant is very welcoming. It is so spacious and open, we do not feel constrained. Good for business meetings. I was fortunate to get a treat here, and not spend my money. So cannot comment on affordability :)

It's a great place to hangout with friends, family. * They have great choices of food which taste great and their serving is as per indian appetite. * They play good music in background which keeps the environment light n pleasant. * The staff is warm and friendly and yet focused on their work. * Overall I loved my visit and to my surprise we got a complimentary cake as we were celebrating a birthday with our dinner and they sang for us which was a great gesture. Special credits - Chef Jhupa , Dipak J, and Pankaj @Soma Restaurant

Taste of food was quite good but variety of vegetarian food was very limited. Service of staff was pathetic. They were not keen to attend to customers. It was very noisy as a party was going on in the adjoining hall. I would not like to go again.

Not sure if they had a really bad day or what ! Had the most terrible experience...more from a service perspective than the food. Food was average as well unfortunately.
