Have been to Shobas since childhood and have never been disappointed.. The pav Bhaji, rava dosa and casatta icecream were simply delicious.. Keep it up Shoba!

Lovely hygienic food to eat in the rain with a cup of tea in this restaurant. I had ordered 3 dishes it came in just 5 minutes. So much tasty food I had never imagine so delicious. Have a quick tea visit at here but tell the waiter to bring sugar at a separate bowl because they put a lot of sugar and tell him make it strong.

As a vegetarian food lover, I was immediately drawn to "Shobha Shuddha Shakahari" after seeing their "PureVeg" sign. And let me tell you, it was definitely worth the visit! this place is located in mahim. it is 5 min away from matunga station. this restaurant is Ac and non Ac. the food is tasty and authentic. This is my favorite restaurant since from my childhood. quality of food is good. excellent service. my favourite dish from shobha is paneer crispy. i ordered paneer crispy, mushroom matar, paneer handi and butter roti and butter naaan.

Inshort Please dont visit! I’ve never ever had such a bad first impression! Firstly when there are very few customers! still i had to wait 10 mins for the waiter to come! even then He gave the menu and walked away! I googled this place and took out an image of matter paneer posted in some review! when i showed him the image instead of helping me figuring out what is this? he replied “Photo se kya ? you can’t speak?” Then after hesitation i ordered let’s give him benefit of doubt don’t know how was his day went ahead and ordered! And Guess was bhaaji had no salt and rice had too much salt! Falooda is just Sugar Drink!

It's pure veg hotel. The tea is really awesome. It can be easily spotted as very near to the road. Parking is an issue which people should be aware of . Dal khicdi is awesome. Basis restaurant with some dishes.

Shobha is one of the famous family restaurant in matunga west. Very popular within locals. Earlier the quality of the food was so good. Most of the dishes were outstanding in terms of the quality, quantity and cost. Even service used to be good.staff was friendly. But from past 10 years I have seen a huge drop in the quality. Now they add more water into gravies than the tomato puree. Sambar tastes horrible. Their pav bhaji used to be my favorite but sadly not anymore. Even staff members don't give a damn about customer's opinion. They are just increasing the cost of the food but decreasing the quality. Highly disappointed.

Taste is pretty good. But sometimes even on weekends the restaurant is understaffed with only 2 waiters manning the entire 10 tables in the AC section. This does create considerable service delays. But the staff does try their best to provide fast service. Overall good experience but rethink before visiting on a holiday.

It's one of the oldest pure veg restaurant In Mumbai. Easy to locate and easy to find a parking spot too. The delivery was quick and you get a table quickly.

Very renowned place ...just 15 mins from matunga station...really good food...and right in the middle of hustle bustle on main road...very nice location....the food is typical vegetarian fare.. right from breakfast items to proper main course items ...nice ambience especially the non AC section if you want to have your food and watch the hustle bustle on the main road...overall a place reasonable on your wallet, good food and nice ambience...what more do you need after a hard day's work👍

This is the best Veg Restaurant. Pretty early to open for Breakfast in the Morning. Nice Service. Also, great to pass through a nice statue of Lord Krishna on the entrance.

Not at all good service. The food was placed in the bowl and we had to serve it in our plate. Waiters are rude. This same restaurant was the best in service and food but now, not at all. Really pathetic service.

Whenever I am in this part of the city, I and my wife visit Shobha for snacks or lunch, depending upon the hour of the day. It is a very good place to eat, food is good, the place has the right kind of ambience and service and manners excellent. Above all, darshan of God Krishna make it distinct.

Usually not crowdy space. Pure vegeterian restaurant. Staff service is good. Food ordered came within few minutes. Reason for giving 3 stars taste of food was not good. According to taste it's expensive. They accept only cash if your bill is below 300, So carry cash

The food was nice but the hotel is famous for arrange marriage Meetings. We wanted to eat sabji and roti but it was not available so we managed on Dosa, Puri Bhaji and caramel custard and it was nice

The place is located near the signal and is easily locatable. It has two sections air conditioning one and non air conditioning. We sat in non air conditioning one. You get North Indian, South Indian cousins here. There are other options as well. But we preferred to eat south Indian cuisine. Tea and coffee is good. We had Dosas. They were good and hot. The ambiance is decent. It gives you the feel of typical udipi style hotels. Overall a good place.

We were there for lunch, but the only thing I can say about the restaurant is that it is pitiful. The service was so pathetic that it cannot be conveyed in words, and the food was decent but not great. There were also several parking troubles. So, based on that experience, I can only recommend this place if you have plenty of time to kill.

Strategically located south Indian restaurant with AC and non AC sections. Usually crowded during lunch hours. Food quality and taste is OK but bit expensive as compared to the ambience and the portion. Service is satisfactory. Being at the corner of busy roads, parking is great problem.

We had ordered 1) Medu Wada given absolutely cold with little warm sambar 2) cheese toast sandwich wherein the bread the bread was just made little crisp on tawa I guess not put in toaster stuffed with cold grated cheese and served cold everything 3) filter coffee which was not filter but Nescafé I guess and served little warm When I asked the waiter to get it hot he was reluctant And last after finishing the food which was pathetic water with hair was served Absolutely one of the worst places to have food

Helpful staff with suggestions. Lovely south Indian food. This time had ordered Chinese to try, and yet fascinated me with a wonderful yummy taste. Loved it. Absolutely worthy of a five star and amazing to be here to have such great food. Alot of variety and hence a very awesome restaurant to visit. Worth every penny. Keep rocking

I would suggest you that its an good chice for snacks and short bite but for lunch or dinner its not worthy. Quantity is less. And service is also slow. Bigger space can be manged very different manner. You have good options for snacks. Its near from road so visible from longer distance

Stopped by just by chance decent clean place . Typical south indian fare available. Tried the Punjabi thali consisting of sukhi Allo subji Channa palak Allo daal and Channa masala. Choice of roti or Puri . Curd papad onion raita acchar and shrikhand. Choice of plain rice or pullav Taste was decent chappati served were thin hot and big in size. Overall not bad Tried the daal khichdi was a bit dissapointed with the taste. Being lunch time the hotel was full with customers typical fast professional service

The food was average, but given the location and rush and price, it was above expectations. Definitely thumps for pure veg preference. We tried Kofta which was superb and was great on tummy. Would recommend to go there

Their menu has lot of varieties of food like south Indian north Indian Punjabi dishes, and desserts like faluda’s and milkshake which was very awesome here. Its is a pure veg restaurant and mostly it is for family who visits this restaurant as it is very decent. The ambience and decor was so good which welcomes the customers with beautiful lightings. The cost of food was also much affordable and quality was much better. I was so impressed with their quick delivery. Overall a very good pure veg restaurant I can say. This place has transformed into a family style pure veg eatery with South Indian, Punjabi, Chinese, Snacks and Milkshakes. I would recommend the Punjabi dishes and the delicious milkshakes and faloodas. Also the pineapple pizza. The Chinese food is not very authentic and can be skipped. All the dishes are very reasonably priced and they offer a free home delivery service too around mahim-dadar area. The location is on the main LJ Road near citylight signal. The restaurant also has an air-conditioned section.A good place to go if you want quick service and good food at great prices
