I had an amazing dine in experience at this restaurant. Ambience is so welcoming and refreshing. Food served is at next level with the quality and taste. Hotel staff suggested some good delicious items. Deserts served at last made my meal complete, which were amazing. Service was good as expected. I would rate overall at 4.5 out of 5 in all aspects at the hotel.

Visited this restaurant for a dinner buffet last week. I was blown away by their food, service and hospitality. The staff is extremely courteous and looks after your requirements. One of the servers brought chicken pasta and chicken pizza for us without us even asking for it and it was a really sweet gesture by him. The food options are limited but are extremely tasty. There was no food item that disappointed us. My family loved it very much. In non veg starters I tried Pepper Chicken, Honey Chilli Lamb, Fish in salsa. In veg starters Paneer Tikka, Babycorn and Mushroom. They also had a live Chaat counter and a live fish fry counter. The main course was regular. I tried Biryani with Mutton curry. Veg and non veg noodles were great too. The best part was the dessert. The halwa, rasmalai, brownie, ice creams were to die for. Having said that, the options in starters were very less. It would’ve been great to see variety in there. But other than that, everything was top notch. Would highly recommend.

A place full of joy and cool ambience which is kinda pretty decent to have all the three time food. My overall experience was really good specially in lunch and dinner but, can't say that the breakfast dissatisfied me. Overall, a wonderful experience with great variety and tasteful food.

Can't get over the lavish spread including lots of live counters for street foods from different states of India! We visited the Earth plate in sahara star to explore Streets of India food fest. Sahara star known for its excellent hospitality and service, so as expected it was warm welcome by the well trained staff. Entire space was decorated so well with regional live counters setup so well. We totally loved the outdoor seating which actually resembled the street setup! Along with the regular buffet including wide varieties of appetizers, mains and desserts the current food fest includes, live counters to get the piping hot regional varieties like Malabar parota, varieties of dosa from Chennai! Surati egg ghotala, Dhokla, Patra etc from Gujarat! Tunde kebab, hara bara paneer tikke from Lucknow! Tawa meat and tawa veg from Delhi! Paneer chilly, chowmein etc from the China town! Pavbhaji, vadapav, misal pav from Mumbai! Chole kulche from Amritsar! We have listed down the veg varieties that we tried there was equal number of non veg varieties too! Forgot to mention the Agra ki chaat which served pani puri, raj kachori, dahi papdi chaat etc. We also enjoyed the live counter making piping hot jalebi served with rabdi. Along with this there was number of popular Indian sweets like Agre ka petha, magaj ladoo, varieties of barfi, kalakand, moongdal halava and lot more. The other dessert counter included varieties of desserts from across the world! To summarize, it was absolutely worth and the spread was so huge that its a must must visit for all my foodie friends who loves to explore flavours from different regions. This fest covers all of it and there's no need but still mentioning that food quality is top notch! We totally enjoyed the Streets of India food fest.

One would expect a 5 star restaurant to have good food and good ambiance but it was just the opposite. The ambiance was nothing great, it felt like a food court at a mall. Extremely cramped seating. There was seating at the end of the stairs too so people kept pushing and going past when they used the stairs. Food was very basic in taste. We ordered chicken Schezwan and chicken Manchurian stir-fry from the live counter & they gave us raw chicken. The desserts were pretty sad and below standard. Never expected such a bad experience at a good hotel like Sahara Star. The food was not worth 3.5k pp.

Not worth the ₹ 2500/- buffet with taxes to be extra 18%. The ambience is mostly like coffee shop and while the desserts are good the buffet comprises of mostly Indian variety and doesn't appear very special. The Earth Plate lounge is the only place which you can enjoy but that's only open in evening. If you can sit there and enjoy food then it would be worthwhile. But that you can do only with a drink and don't have to spend extra on the food. As for the food , the chicken stew was delicious along with the chicken biryani and Manglore Fish. In starters there were only 3 varieties of which the Chilly Basil fish was good. In dessert do try the Date Almond pudding. Mostly visit in the evening, a mistake that I did can be avoided.

This Place truly deserves 5 star. Went here for Sunday Brunch on Anniversary Celebration, & it was a great decision indeed. There are options ranging in Buffet from Indian, Continental, chinese, to italian & everything is upto the Mark. I personally loved the Chowmein, Ice Cream, Kulfi, Apple Juice. Service is no doubt the best i have ever seen in any 5 star buffet. A must visit for special Occasions.

Best buffet experience ever. A lot of variety in the buffet. Right from South Indian to North Indian and continental, Mediterranean also Chinese everything was there on the menu. Vast variety of food items on the menu. Mocktails included options from pineapple and passion fruit. Chaat counter, shawarma counter, falafel were also there. Main course had a lot of option to choose from. A huge section for the desserts. Taste wise the food was at another level. Excellent service. Overall a must visit. Best for celebrating birthdays or anniversaries. Would highly recommend this atleast once.

Amazing restaurant. I tried probably 20 or more of the dishes and each of them was superb. Great if you are not acquainted to Indian cuisine because you can taster many Indian dishes, including non-veg. There are also western dishes which were tasty as well. They even cooked me a small pizza (pasta and pizza included in buffet price). No drinks included unfortunately except poured water. The bosses were walking around checking all the dishes every so often with their head chefs as well which was reassuring and professional. The waiters and serving chefs were all attentive, quick and friendly. Definitely 5 star. Good job team :)

The Earth Plate restaurant is a great place for a late-night outing. They have tasty dishes from Italy, France, Tex-Mex, the Mediterranean, the Far East, and India. You can watch the chefs cook in the show kitchen while enjoying the delicious food. The atmosphere is nice, making The Earth Plate a recommended spot for a good experience.

My overall experience was good for lunch and dinner but in breakfast there were limited options. There were only Jain breakfast and no eggs for breakfast which was very disappointing...i don't knw why bt breakfast was not upto the standard of hotel...this could be bcz there was someone's wedding and large no of people are mainly of wedding bt they should not compromise with guest's hospitality...otherwise good taste n attentive staff

The Earth Plate, located on the lower floor of Sahara Star my review is limited to the breakfast buffet they serve. I was staying in the hotel for 5 days and went for breakfast at the restaurant during my stay. The staff is polite and helpful, though most of the buffet is self-serve, but they take orders and deliver the live counters like Eggs, Dosa, Etc. The spread is decent with more of Veg selections, in Non-Veg I could only find Chicken Sausages and Eggs nothing else which is a disappointment as per me. They don’t serve breakfast bacon as well, and top it up the menu remained exactly the same for my 5 day visit not even one dish changed. The cheese selection is quite poor and the cheese severed is hard. Now coming to the good things which I could find: Fresh juices, Live Dosa counter, Egg Counter. Overall if you are a guest staying in then its decent but if you coming from outside and paying for the same I am not sure it is too appealing. They definitely need to increase there Non Veg selection and need to change the menu or at least some items as the same menu gets boring if you staying a long duration.

This is a really good place to visit if you’re looking to try a huge buffet with varied cuisines. I visited during the street food festival which was soo much fun. There were live counters featuring street food delicacies all over India. My personal favourites were the Kathi rolls from Hyderabad and Kebabs from Lucknow. And of course Mumbai ka Vada Pav :) Loved how they were able to bring maintain the authenticity of each dish. Apart from live counters there are lots of options in buffet as well. So if you’re on the lookout for a perfect restaurant for Sunday brunch, would definitely recommend visiting The Earth Plate Special thanks to our server Mayank who was extremely helpful :)

The Earth Plate, Sahara Star. Mainly known for its multi-cuisine brunches and covers up a range of delicacies. Right from Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Indian they have it all covered under the menu. The most important part of this place is its impeccable service. The right measures were taken by the entire team of Sahara Star in terms of health safety. My recent visit to this fine dining turned out to be a very good experience. The Star Sunday brunch was well set up and was entirely dedicated to Indian food which was named under "Flavours of India". Frankly speaking, the number of options they have throughout can get you quite confusing. The live counters, the chat counters, the salad station, spread of desserts, they had it all. Also not to forget the heavenly meat grill stations with various nonveg dishes to pick from. The dessert spread was the best with a range of so many options. All in all, it was a heavenly experience for foodies like us and that too at a price of 3k it was absolutely worth it. Also, they are all set to come up more and more themed brunches and other things, so I cant wait to visit againg and experience all of it.

Ambience is too gud because of the lagoon which in between the whole Sahara star structure. We can stroll in some part of the lagoon from the earth plate restaurant which is at the base ground level. About the food u will get wide variety of food ( indian - pav bhaji, pan puri, dhokla, biryani, chicken dishes, mutton, fish, shawarma, Chinese, thai and so on. too much of desert. Frankly can't taste all the item present. Some time there are few theme like various regional food etc. Lunch unlimited mocktail, around 3000/-PP. One less star is for some of the waiters who were not attentive at all and for the centralised AC not cool enough. If you pay that much amount even for the buffet these things matters.

The restaurant is located inside the Sahara Star hotel in Mumbai and therefore parking is not a challenge and needless to say Valet option is available. The magnificent architecture of the hotel catches the attention on landing at the lobby and takes some time to actually remember back the purpose of the visit. Once that happened with me I realised the restaurant is located in the lower level and took an elevator to reach below. On reaching the restaurant the huge buffet spread took my breadth away. Even a foodie like me was wondering how will I end up tasting all the food in the spread. Let me assure you it is impossible to taste everything and thus stick to item that will provide you value for money. Like the Fish grill at the Live counter or the Prawn Koliwada etc. Do remember this is not a restaurant of the faint hearted as the Buffet cost approximately 3500/- pax. It also means this is a restaurant to be visited only for very special occasion and use the memory of food and goof time to linger for in anticipation of the next big things in life. Surely recommend to visit by all, though the service was lukewarm. If the price is too high to visit do save and then visit just for the once in a lifetime experience. Bon appetite!

It was an amazing experience all together as we saw many cuisine of rural India around a platter. The best part was that we saw there was so many vegetarian varieties that we really enjoyed the whole experience they had put up. The vibe was amazing and the whole ambience was lit as if I am having all of those food on the streets. My favourite part was the Gujarat cart which had so many good varieties of my favourite Gujarat food and obviously I also love the Maharashtrian food cart which was serving some yummy delicious vada pav. As Chinese is my go to cuisine whenever I am opting for street food I really enjoyed the Chinese cart with all the Paneer chilli and rice which was served was really amazing. The best part was the desert counter and I tell you you would have never seen such a desert cart in any buffet in any hotel of the city have to term it as the best desert cart or the desert counter ever if you are going to this festival please do not miss out on the desert part I personally I am not a sweet tooth what it was so delicious and craving me to another level that I tried maximum number of sweets. Would recommend everyone of you add if you are looking for an premium experience with an amazing vibe and the perfect ambience for your dinner please do visit Sahara Star for this amazing experience. The earth plate is worth a visit with your family and you should go there for a great time.

Definitely a great place to go, the ambiance is amazing. The ground floor lobby of Sahara star has a pianist and a lovely atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and considered all our requirements before recommending us to the Earth Plate. We ordered a plate of barbeque chicken drumsticks, a cheesy mushroom poutine, a mushroom and goat cheese panini sandwich and a Quattro Stagioni vegetarian pizza. 1) Chicken Drumsticks - 5 stars: We ordered this as a starter. It doesn't get any better than this. The chicken was soft and delicious and the sauce was amazing 2) Cheesy Mushroom Poutine - 4 stars: We ordered this as a side for the table. It was also absolutely delicious. The cheese was perfect, however it did get slightly cold over the duration of our meal as we slowly ate it. 3) Mushroom and Goat Cheese Panini - 5 stars: another amazing dish. Bread was soft and it was easy to eat and light on the tummy. Was a good starter before the pizza 4) Quattro Stagioni - 3 stars: I must address that we arrived at around 3 pm and pizzas were not supposed to be available until 4:30 pm. However, they got us a pizza at 4 pm after our starters, which was really nice of them. I shall give them the benefit of the doubt here as I believe this was a one off case being the first pizza of the day and at an earlier time, but our pizza had a really hard and slightly burnt crust, the toppings were pretty good and the cheese was great, however the overall pizza does depend a lot on the bread and it took a hit there. 5) Cucumber apple mint juice and other variety alcohol such as JD on the rocks etc - 4 stars: everything was well made and served on time. All in all, it was an amazing place with great ambiance, very courteous and professional staff and delicious food. Would recommend it for sure.

The Earth Plate This place has swayed me away with its delicious offering. Lately I have tried this place and I  overwhelmed with the uniqueness of flavors bound together. This place needs no introduction.  Located in Sahara Star and their biggest and famous restaurant. Recently visited here for “The Star Sunday Brunch” which was completely worth for INR 3500/- plus taxes which is inclusive of Alcoholic unlimited drinks and you can use their swimming pool as well. Here, you can try different cuisines around the globe under one roof. The place consists of all the delicacies from the 4 restaurants of Sahara Star. Just one word Amazing!!! The food here really impressed me. The ambience is classy and beautiful. The space looks fabulous and huge. The service is up to the mark. To sum up, an amazingly beautiful place with delicious food. Not a single complaint. Definitely a must try place with your friends and family. Cheers!!! P.S: The review is strictly based on my personal experience. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Decor: 5/5

This place is located at Sahara star near domestic airport. They serve cuisine like Mediterranean, italian, asian, north Indian, fast food. We went to try sunday brunch. One of the best Brunch in the city. Team Sahara star is taking the utmost necessary precautions so that the customers feel safe even in this fear of Covid they are taking the maximum precaution . Glory of Earth plate is that they have a different themes for every Sunday brunch. This weeks theme was my favourite “Flavours of India”. Themes of upcoming weeks are “strawberry” and “valentines special”. The spread of buffet is so huge that someone will be confused from where to start. The variety is so huge right from starters in chicken and prawns to amazing gujurati dish like dhokla and khandvi. We even tried live counter For noodles, chaat which included sev puri, pani puri. Prawns momos, chicken momos were very delicious. There was also grill that we ordered in which we went for prawns and fish. Sofest galouti something that melts in the mouth served with green chutney. Last not the least the desserts confused me out of everything, the amount of variety in dessertd had me go crazzy in the love for sweets again. From mithai to macroons they had it all. Just to say a little there was phirni, kulfi, gajar ka halwa, chocolate foundue, macroon, cheesecake, lollipops, etc. Service was commendable. Not a thing to mention but the staff was very much knowledgeable about their menu and even the head chef was very sweet to greet us all Also a good news team sahara has started a gourment of their own which delivers till 4 in the morning. location 5/5 ambiance 5/5 food 5/5 service 5/5 overall 5/5

How can I say this. Was it worth it? No. Tried the buffet, they have many dishes, but the majority of dishes were kinda in the low priced criteria, Been to many buffets and they usually have some sort of dish thats worth eating. Unfortunately Not one dish here like that. They have a big spread, but like i said nothing glamorous haha. So if planning for a good buffet. This is not it. Also They had many dessert items. But still just not the good taste. Even the kids didnt like the desserts 😬

Sahara Star is our most favourite destination when it comes to Sunday Brunch. We visited here to be a part of Flavours of India themed Brunch. Safety First : The staff , the venue and most importantly the food everything looked neat and clean . Really loved the efforts taken by them to ensure safety of their guests. Ambience : Relaxed and cool ambience . Tables kept at perfect social distancing distance from each other . Food : Perfect balance between the vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes . As the theme of the day said Flavours of India so they had food presented from all corners and traditions of India . Being gujju we loved the khandvi & vatana samosa. Besides that the chilli mushrooms and Roomali roti mini rolls were some lipsmacking appetizers. Paneer ans Aloo Parantha were the favourite live counters of the day . In mains we loved the north indian gravies of Palak and Makhani Paneer . Tandoori Roti were served hot on the table as per your requirement. Dal Makhani & Dum Biryani towards the end of meal were just mesmerizing. Desserts : The dessert bunch list out here is so huge than I can go on to write an essay about it . Having said that each and every dessert is so nicely presented and full justice done to the taste part as well. Personal favourite was Apple Jalebi with Rabdi , Kulfi , & a variety of mini pastries. All and all a supreme experience at this legendary place . Do visit with your friends and family. Happy Fooding.

Earth plate is located inside the hotel Sahara Star and it is easy to locate. They specialize in the buffet, I visited for the Street Food Festival, and trust me the spread was outstanding. Prices are as par with similar kind of buffet places but they kept a lot of variety including live Chaat, Dosa, Chinese, Amritsari chole kulcha, Mumbai vada pav and a lot more was available The restaurant is spacious with a buffet arranged systematically and everything was placed in a synchronized manner, live counters looks great, and even live cooking was going on I didn't felt the heat or aroma of the food getting cooked which was indeed great. Coming to the food, it was a buffet with a hell of a lot of options with an add-on of the street food festival. as we all really missed street food during this covid, here earth plate came up with this much-needed street food festival where you can treat yourself with street food options around the states at one place. What we tried : we started with all-time favourite AGRA KI CHAAT COUNTER which was having - DAHI GUJIYA - PHUCHKA ( PANI PURI ) - RAJ KACHORI - CRISPY ALOO TIKKI we tried ALOO TIKKI topped with chole, dahi, imly chutney & a pinch of chaat masala totally loved it. next, we tried Kathi roll which is a famous street food of Kolkata this one is a must-try live counter, tortilla clubbed with egg and stuffed with marinated shredded chicken. then we tried authentic litti chokha from Bihar made in a traditional style over coal which was giving it a perfect smoky touch. coming to more options in the north we had crisp bhature with slow-cooked chole which was having a burst of flavours. from amchi Mumbai, they had an option of missal pav and of course vada pav. in desi Chinese, chicken lollypop tossed in a schezwan sauce was mindblowing for vegetarians paneer 65 was a must-try. they also had veg/non-veg noodles. heading to our favorite part of any buffet....desserts!! they had around 10+ types of sweets from besan ke laddu to balushahi, boondi laddu, barfi, gujiya & pipping hot jabeli's. We Went here for dinner which was truly amazing, special thanks to Saurabh Tiwari for taking special care of our table also the staff was attentive and proactive. the meal at earth plate was perfect as I loved the spread, the service was amazing and the ambiance is perfect for every occasion. Therefore a visit here is highly recommended. Food : 5/5 Ambience : 5/5 Service : 5/5 Covid safety protocols : 5/5

Loved it. Buffet spread is always huge and tasty. A Bengal dish festival was going on while I visited and it was cherry on the top. Each of their dishes were yummy. Service is par excellent. The dessert spread is one of the largest I have seen in many luxury hotels. Vegetarian starters may be improved. Special salads and appetizers are to die for. Special mention for a goat cheese and baby carrot appetizer. It was out of the world.

Me and my fiance visited this place for my birthday. The spread of dishes was vast and they had good variety in cuisines as well. Our server Mister Aman was very courteous in bringing all the dishes to our table whenever we asked him to and the Chef Mister Rupesh helped redecorate my Fiance's surprise cake for me, which was really sweet. I'm thankful to The Earth Plate to make my birthday experience wonderful and memorable. :)

Christmas Brunch at it's best.... I feel that the pics say it all. Fantabulous spread. Really good staff. Prompt service. Spread starts from Indian, Mexican, Lebanese, Chinese, Continental, Japanese, Thai, Awadhi, Burmese.......and it goes in and on. Ohh yea and not to forget the huge Dessert spread. I have tried almost all Five Stars for the Christmas Brunch but this is the best in Mumbai. After trying almost everything you walk to a corner and see you still missed out some Cusine. For Veg lovers Daal bati, various Lebanese dishes, Paav Bhaji, Mushroom Galuti is a must try. Non Veg lovers you will get everything from Turkey, Ham, Steak, Scallops, Crabs, Fish, Chicken, Mutton, Pork and sure me must have forgotten a few more for sure. Must say Full Paisa Vasool......

✳️The Earth Plate is a fine-dine restaurant at the well renowned Sahara Star situated in the heart of the suburban area in Mumbai. Located close to the domestic airport makes it a prime place to visit for many tourists as well as the locals. ✳️The appetisers were an assortment of fish and chicken. We tried their chicken shorba soup which is a must have for anyone out there suffering from cold ✳️The main course was a lavish spread of the Christmas buffet! I tried the mutton gravy which had generous portions of bone marrows. That mutton gravy won my heart and made me go in for a second helping. The basa fish with mushrooms were well cooked. ✳️mouth watering chocolate mousse cake. ✳️the desserts were a grand assortments of various pastries, plum cakes, the rich plum pudding. ✳️Hats off to our server who served us the dishes with a smile on his face all throughout. ✳️I would highly recommend this place for their delicious food and the most courteous staff I’ve ever come across. Do visit guys !! Follow:- F00DIEMADDIE ( insthagram)

We were back at Sahara Star for its most awaited Cultures of Mumbai Season 3, where we went on a costal culinary journey of the Koli's curated by the sweetest Mrs. Harsha Tapke. Mrs. Tapke started Koli Food festival in Versova in 2005 and it has been a star festival since then. This year we missed on the festival in Versova but Sahara Star made sure we didn't miss it totally. Here are some glimpses of the delicious food that we tried. This scrumptious spread witnessed a wide range of seafood like Oysters, Tiger Prawns, Pomfrets, Crabs, Lobsters, Mackerel, Threadfin etc along with Rice Bhakri, Steamed Rice and Dessert. The food was absolutely lipsmacking delicious and had that authentic Koli taste..

We recently had a delicious Sunday brunch spread at The Earth Plate, Sahara Star. It is located near Santacruz domestic airport. The Earth Plate is one of the most luxurious and opulent places to dine. Their ongoing theme is Flavours of India. With a vast spread of delicacies from all the states of India, this place won my heart. The display of the food and the layout was very impressive. Their buffet spread had many dishes like momos, chowmein, dhoklas, khandvi, Patra, Paniyarams, dahi kebabs and so on. Live counters like Chaat, Jalebis, kulfi Falooda, Galouti Kababs were very buzzing. Main course spread was also elaborate and they had sufficient options for vegetarians as well as non vegetatians. The dessert section was my favorite with delicious treats like cheesecake, halwa, puddings, pastries, mithais, macaroons and much more. The chocolate fountain stole the show for me as I am a chocolate aficionado. Like a kid I was not able to move away from that. Well that says a lot. The entire team really worked very hard for achieving this and winning their guests heart. All the staff guys were extremely polite, courteous and friendly. Most importantly they have maintained the hygiene levels and strictly follow the sanitization process. Also they have contactless delivery and the staff guys were wearing the mask throughout. I will highly recommend everyone to visit this place, and they also come up with different themes for the buffet. So everytime you can have a unique experinece. Recently they have also started Sahara Gourmet, their culinary kitchen and will deliver food at the comfort of your home.

I happened to visit The Earth Plate for a Bohri Food Festival which is currently on till 24th Oct. This exclusive fine dine is located within Hotel Sahara Star. The soft music feels very soothing and the staff here are very promt with the service. So this Bohri Food Festival was organized in association with the Taheri Delights, the menu being curated by Chef Alifya and Chef Aziz Amrelliwala, takes you on to experience culinary delight of traditional Bohri food. So on the spread there were lot of options to try from, I was definitely spoilt for the choices. I almost tried everything thing from the spread. The mutton samosa, Daal ka Samosa, Seekh kebab and more to start on a light note. Then from the live preparation, they got the delicious raan and liver tawa masala. Among the mains, do try their Dal Khichdi with Mutton Khurdi, low on spicemeter this combination is an amazing treat to the palate. Baby potatoes with the kokum chutney is another impressive combination from the special kitchen. Also you would not want to miss their Malai Murg Tikka Biryani for it being so aromatic and flavourful at the same time. Finishing off we come to the desserts....now the Gajar halwa, Sheer Kurma, Pav Halwa, coconut Barfi and lot more to try from. Tried every desserts and I must say the Pav Halwa and coconut Barfi stands out well. Overall, a lovely dining experience with this special menu. Thank you team The Earth Plate for amazing dining experience.

Earth Plate: Taking a stay at one of the most luxurious property in Mumbai Sahara Star. The place has to offer many restaurants. From thali to Pan Asian, Lebanese to buffet. Earth Plate, a buffet, we decided to opt for on our anniversary dinner. This happen to be disastrous meal. Firstly charging 2-3k for buffet and serving one hot appetizers.. tempura.. No Mocktails, inclusive. Not even soft drink. The menu selections truly ridiculous. Offering sushi which was the only good part of the entire meal. The bruschetta was served with nachos, Tempura served with Sichuan and green chutney( seriously). Managers busy with their mobile, had to keep on asking what is available good for vegetarians. Pizza, lacked in seasoning. Basics done totally wrong.. The indian section, tasteless overcooked. Makai Methi, over dry, lacked even basic spices. Pumpkin Feta, again , a mess .. Feta was not even tasting at all.. Dal Tadka, and steam rice basic, nothing extra ordinary. The paneer sabji, did not even feel like touch as it already looked super oily .. that also in a Such a place Hearing about Coorg festival, as the festive week. South cuisine is all about using bold spices and flavors. This was miles away from spice and flavors. Again irresponsible management not able to know whether the Staple of South is hot or cold Bisabella , watery and flavorless and served cold. Management not even aware. The French bean vegetables, tasted like boiled Vegetables with with some shredded coconut. The serving time.of Rice chapati for 2 portion: approx 15-20 mins. So when you take hot curry, by the time chapati came to our table, the curry is already cold. Why have a fest when you are not able to serve the guest. We really regretted to select this place for anniversary dinner. Not recommended EARTH PLATE for any occasion or even dine..

The Earth Plate is an integral part of the very beautiful Sahara Star, Vile Parle. With global cuisine on their menu, this place is a definite visit and is truly recommended to all the food fanatics all over the city. The Earth Plate keeps on hosting some amazing food festivals and they have recently started up with "Coorg Food Festival". It's going to be there until 7th December. The cost per person is around 2500/++ INR. We relished delicacies like Akki Roti I Puttu I Paaputtu I Bamboo Shoot Curry I Panda (pork) Curry I Koli Chicken, Noolputtu and a lot more. Along with it, the beverages are not be missed at all. We had the traditional Bella coffee which was very refreshing in each and every sense. In desserts, they have a number of options present but the Coffee mousse just stole the show. It was just the perfect thing to end my meal with. We had a really great time relishing this Sunday brunch along with the scrumptious delicacies from Coorg. Lovely experience.

Earth plate- Restaurant well know in hotel Sahara star. There was some coorg festival going on, we visited for that festival. This particular restaurant is famous for its festivals and their Sunday brunch. This particular festival (Coorg festival) is from 22nd November to 7th December. They’ve so many varieties of veg and non veg food with good and lavish buffet which is a must try. The best part which we loved along with the food was live singing. Loved it. Amazing. Coming to the food from Coorg festival- Basale Bonda and goli bhaji these north were amazing in taste and was served with mint chutney. This was veg starters. Sings true akki roti which was made of rice flour which was served with sakare Kumbhala for non vegetarians and for vegetarians they’ve mango curry I also loved mendh masala, Pande curry, more pachadi, mutton pulav. Meen bhartad this is basically a fish based starter which was mind blowing. Loved it. Ghee rice was also one of the options which you can try with varieties of curry For desserts we had coffee mousse which was delicious. I would highly recommend this dessert which shouldn’t be missed. Apart from all these they even have options in chaat, love counters which should try. They’ve a very good spread of different cuisine which is worth trying. Along with these they also have Coorg speciality coffee without milk with jaggery added in it. It tasted really very good and I loved it.

On the 6th of December 2019 had visited as had beaked a table for 7 at the Earth plate restaurant. As I entered the lift the glass door cracked putting us at a risk of injury . Shocking was after such a horrific incident we werent escorted also to the restaurant...And further despite having a table booked no 1 even checked how many of us were present and blindly gave a 4 seater table. Plates didnt seem to be sterilised too. Thd entire episode was chaotic spoiled my evening on such a special occasion leaving the children crying and elderly in A State of Shock...have complained to the highest level but in vain as only the bell gtbrefunded and no explanation given...pathetic

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some italian classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.
