👍👍 As a Maharashtrian I can tell you for sure that this is the place to have good Maharashtrian food. The Piyush is just delicious. Please also try all the upvas food. I am so happy that there is a legacy brand that has not at all changed their quality. Keep it up panshikar! More than enough value for money! It's a small menu eatery with sufficient seating space, just at the main road junction. The food here is superb! The lassi is damn thick and sweet, the Missal is on point and the sabudana wada is crispy and tasty and the white chutney served with it is also every bit tasty! Service is quick and it wasn't very crowded on a Sunday evening! But we ordered the same things twice as it was very tasty.

*Awesome Misal* This outlet was on my list for long time as I had heard a lot, mixed though. I was not sure about their opening hours so landed at around 9.30 and was lucky to find a table without having to wait. Tried Poha, Upma, Misal and taak. All items were of good quality and misal was the best of all. I strongly recorded this for authentic Maharashtrian delicacies.

People who enjoy Maharashtrian snacks you will love this place and their franchise elsewhere. It is an old brand and serve relatively good food. If you like your misal spicy and without potatoes do not try their version. Go for the piyush or the kothimbir vadi. Nice cozy Maharashtrian vibe !

Wonderful marathi brahman snacks and sweets are available here. Wafers are acid free n yummy. Authentic taste of all items here is really appreciated. They also have seating arrangement to have a bite till they make parcel of items I order.

Small, clean place. Authentic Maharashtrian snacks like pohe, thalipeeth, misal available. Authentic Maharashtrian beverages like piyush, kokam sarbat to go with the snacks. Service quality is limited by the lack of education of the service staff although they are otherwise good natured.

Must Try : Puneri Misal Pav, Puri Bhaji, Kothmir Wadi & Corn Pattice,Sabudan Khichdi. Cold Drinks : Solkadi,Kokam Sharbat, Masala Chaas and Mango Lassi. Better to eat at the place , they have a sit out area. They also give you a parcel if needed. Parking here can be an issue.

Best food outlet for vegitarians. Reasonable taste is amazing. You can order anything blindly and you will love it for sure. No need any recommendations. Negative point: No AC in the hot Summer season.

Very tasty and flavourful authentic Maharashtrian food. Must try their kothimbir vadi, batat Vada with usal and masala doodh. Upvaas food is also available here. It's a place worth visiting for breakfast.

Very helpful guys. We couldn't go to buy so we called them and got it delivered by wefast. They packed it well as per our instructions and assured us. Methi ladoos, dink and besan ladoos were delicious.

One of the waiters is quite off handed and speaks rudely. They provide good items for fasting. However the place is too small and gets crowded. We witnessed an incident where they kept a customer waiting for more than 45 minutes for a Farali combo thali. Very pathetic customer service.

I ordered Sabudana wada today from zomato app. We were given stale sabudana wadas to make us sick I guess. Very very bad experience. Wasted our money. Never ordering from this place and I will see to it that none of my friends and relatives from Mumbai orders from this place. BEKKAAR FOOD.

Food Quality is simply superb and pure, enjoying through ages But a appeal to Credit Card Machine Companies, please solve their network and other related problems to Credit Card Machines. Multiple times I've visited for parcel but all the time except for 1 time, they have mentioned their plight with a Not So Sad Face that Credit Card Machine is not working. Wonder how can a Hi-Fi area of VileParle East have Network Issue or Wi-Fi. So those who want to have good food in this tech-savvy modern world has to have cash in hand to pay them.

  • 4/5 Nidhi K. 4 years ago on Google
Serves only vegetarian Maharastrian food. It is sort of an extension to a sweet shop, hence the sitting area is very limited. Must try Piyush.

Shop is Located on Hanuman Road, Parle. Visited many times for authentic marathi food. Food quality is getting worst day by day. Quantity is less and Prices are very high compared to quality. Sweets are good. You can visit for typical marathi snack items. Brand Name is quite famous because of Sweets but otherwise they have lost their quality of food in last couple of years. Service is Good. Very Little space to Seat.

Panshikar Sweets & Snacks is small but neat and clean eating point in Vile Parle (east), It is famous for authentic Maharashtrian Cuisines. List of menu items is limited but every item has its own taste and flavor. Service is quick and staff is polite. They also sell meny type of Mithai (Sweets). Farali Misal, Potato toste, Farali Pattice, Corn Pattice, Alu Vadi are some of my favorite things. Only problem is that space is small and cannot accommodate more than 20 people at a time.Geting Parking space also can be an issue.
