120 year old temple of Hindu Very near to Thane railway station and bus stand at walking distance of 5 minutes. Is Geamdevta of Thane ( old time constructed in 1901 ) . Navrati ustav is celebrated in a big way. Devotees come for Prayers and Darshan from sournding area. Que of 30 to 45 minutes is there fir darshan during Navratri. Every day Bhajans are preformed during Navratri. Well maintained by trustees and staff. Crowdeis properly maneged and temple is very small and there is limitation to accomdate devotess.

One of the best temples in thane west.Me being an everyday traveller from that rouote get the opportunity to visit it daily. Its been almost 118 years since the temple has been built there. It was established in 1901.Every big Indian festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm here.Esspecially the NAVRATRI festival is celebrated with great vigour.People from all around Mumbai and its Subburbs come here to seek the blessings of the Goddess. This temple is fondly known as Gaundevi Mandir. It is one of the historic temples of Thane.

The trustee of the mandir does special pooja at night with his family, relative and friends, devotees who come 5 mins late are not allowed for darshan. But instead the trustee famil, relative and friends take photos, selfie inside area, where common public are not allowed. Such a partial behaviour in front of God ??? Why and for whom??? Do we really have right of equality??? Or it is based on financial status differentiation...

One of very old Hindu temples in Thane. Just 2 minutes walk from Thane Rly Station West. Temple is usually not crowded but one has to stand in a Q during festivals like "Navratra". Only disadvantage is that NO PARKING for cars nearby. If you have 2 wheeler, u can park it in Municipal Parking just on the opposite side.

It's very easy to miss this temple...It's entrance is between two shops..On one of the busiest roads of Thane. As her name suggests she is considered as patron goddess of the city. A five minute visit to this more than century old temple is sure to bring peace to you.

This is sacred place for worship , Gaondevi Mandir was built in the year 1988. This is one of the oldest temple in the city. Initially it was small as compared to today’s size.As per ancient tradition, there are symbols of Sun and Moon on top and a donkey like illustration at the bottom. This is beautiful temple for Hindus
