How lucky we've been to have found this guesthouse! We met on the street one of the boys running it and spent there a week. It's on the other side of the river. Now that Hampi island is demolished, it is probably the closest guesthouse after the ferry. It's a very peaceful place that stays pretty fresh and cool. A local artist decorated the rooms, there are hammocks and a nice walk to the sunset point just behind the premises. The food is very good! We've been to other places to eat but this one was the best.

Stayed here for a night with my husband and pet dog. I guess this is the only place with hippie vibes after river side shacks got shut down. Good food. Santosh is very friendly and gave good attention to all our request. Room are very basic and bed is a bit uncomfortable.

We stayed 5 days at Ujwal sunrise Cafe and we had a great time. Rooms are basics but they include a private bathroom. The place is hidden from the road and has a chilling space, hammocks and more. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They can arrange everything you need, rickshaws, scooter renting or whatever you need. The kitchen is actually quite nice (especially breakfast) and you don't need to go out to find something to eat. It's the perfect place to stay when you want to explore Hampi area. I would definitely choose Ujwal sunrise Cafe again if I come back to Hampi.

I would have liked to stay here longer than 4 days, the staff were very accommodating, food was great. Prices were very reasonable. Best of all was the location, it was very private and in the middle of the boulders with good access for climbing. The view from the boulders behind the guesthouse was terrific. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and assisted me in every way. They organized a rental scooter for me and even booked me an outward bus ticket and drove me to the bus stand. I cant recommend this place enough.

I found this magical place by mistake, or not, and I had wonderful and good experience . Spacious and clean rooms with shower and toilet, a large garden of trees and rocks alongside a small river, birds and there is also a very good restaurant, just a delicious! I stayed for two weeks and I did not want to leave .. The hotel owners are so nice and pleasant and help with everything! A quiet and beautiful experience.

We had a 2 day stay at Om Shanti Homestay. Its a 2 km walk from the ferry boarding point which takes you to the main temple complex on the other side of the river. The owner Santosh is very helpful. The rooms and amenities are pretty normal its the service that rides the experience and drives the ratings.

Very nice and quiet place to stay in Hampi. Santosh is a very kind host, he helped us to rent a scooter. We stayed there for a week, close to the boulder area. There is a shop nearby where you can buy drinks and have breakfast.

It was a good place to stay, which is closer to many restaurants and tourist places. Reasonable price..... The owner, Mr. Santosh Rathod, is really a nice person. He helped us in our plan to visit Hampi in way that we saved lots of our time. He is resourceful. Food service was not there, except tea/coffee. But it was manageable as most of the was at walkable distance (less than 1/2km). Thanks Santos ...

Good place. Great people are working here, nice and can help you with like a bike or a bicycle, or a general advice, or like finding a lost gopro. Reminds me of hippie island. Smaller than what was usual for hippie island (6 rooms/tents), quiet, shanti, tourists are easy going there. The cafe area has mattresses and small tables. I think that the most people I saw there at some moment was like a dozen. Lake and waterfalls are about 3km away, Hanuman temple is also 3km away in the other direction (which also has golden boulders sports agency), Great sunset point is also like 2 km away in a third direction. Basically this is a place for sight seeing, going to nature, like lakes and rivers, a lot of temples, hiking, climbing, bouldering. People there usually share the interest in that, so it's easy to meet new friends who share those interests. Food is good, rooms have showers. There is no noise at night. They close at 10:30PM. A weak here had some healing effect for my well-being.

Very nice stay, in surroundings of nature. Good location, close to the ferry. Host is really welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere is just like the homestay's name - very peaceful and relaxing. Also one can enjoy very good chai. Really recommend this place.

We stayed here for 1 night (it’s a pity) at the beginning of April. Great location and really pleasant rooms . Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff Santosh, he made our trip more interesting with his advices & tips about Hampi ,shops and restaurants. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again Santosh for going just that little step extra for the guests!!!

Amazing experience. I will recommend it to everyone who wants to visit hampi. But the only thing is u have to cross the river and go there by rickshaw or bike. Owner santosh rathod is a kind guy. Very helpful. Room rates are pretty good too.

We visit this place during December end of 2019 we loved this place. Staff are super friendly and even owner Prashant who runs caffe are very helpful. The way they treat us like family. We overwhelmed with there service. A cook in caffe who looks like ordinary guy have extraordinary talent, whatever u ordered u just say delicious. Dhanraj who manage caffe and stay very well they have good team members that's why they r no 1 in hampi island.. Service 5/5 Food 5/5 Price 5/5 Try once u never regret.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I visited Hampi for 3 days. The stay at Monkey Paradise was great. Most resorts along Sanapur road are right next to the main road, but this place is tucked away from the main road.
