Please be aware that security will lock the gates to exit the facility at exactly sunset, so check online to see the official time for sunset and leave well before that time. I left at sundown and got locked in. (I'm not blaming W.E. - it was my own fault) They will not sweep the area to make sure everybody has exited the facility, and the sign that warns you of this is pretty small. It was not a pleasant experience. As fishing goes, it's a great opportunity for access to a spillway.

Great place to fish whether you're a newbie or a pro on the down low.. clean , awesome fish templates sprayed on the concrete to keep folks aware of 6 feet of physical distancing to stay safe & stay focused!

Thanks WE energy for this awesome fishing spot. Unfortunately, the lake was super choppy the day we visited, so we really couldn't take advantage of the fishing. But we'll definitely be back another day to try again.

Good fishing spot if you can get a place. Get there about a half hour before sunrise and wait for the gate to open. There may even be a line already then. Don't even bother on the weekend. Closed in the Winter and at sunset every evening during open season. Good spot. But not good enough to deal with the crowds when present.

Good place to catch a fish. Outsell from the power plant creates a perfect environment for Salmon and trout.

It's so quite, but the beach needs some cleaning.

Cool beach for some exploring! Driftwood and some beach glass can be found here! Long fishing pier and parking lot worth a Porta potty.

I would give 5 stars if there was a direct stairway to the pier. Really don't need to carry all my equipment an extra 4oo feet vie the handicap ramp. And then the extra 400 to use the porta potty. Other than that great place to spend an afternoon.
